The visit by Jang Tae Soo - the Curator of the Midtown Gallery to the Future Happiness Cafe will become the catapult for Soo Young to fulfill her childhood dream of letting her Art be recognized.
Soo Young's paintings allowed her to express herself in ways that she couldn't …. her view of life that was express early on …. " in the cold , dark and worn out house that resembled me , I felt relieved" …was dramatically changed once she believed in love again… her paintings reflected it.
Their wedding night Soo Young saw their reflection in the hotel window with all the city lights illuminating them got her very inspired … the end product convinced Jong Tae Soo that his gallery would do a month long showing of Soo Young's paintings.
Soo Young can't believe what Jang Tae Soo told her
Jang Tae Soo: Over the years I've dealt with many artist….. many people have talent, but many of those artist can't make a person feel what the artist wants to convey…. But you my dear… your art is different…. I knew immediately the feelings and emotions that you were trying to convey… Your paintings conveyed pain and heartaches… in some cases the hopelessness … your new work shows the passion and love that is now present. This painting of the nude lovers is remarkable.
Soo Young: That image was the happiest moment of my life… the love of my life was back in my arms
Jang Tae Soo: So this is you and your husband… you captured the love between you to perfection… I'm confident that this piece will garner the highest price
Soo Young: I can't sell it…. This painting has to much meaning for me and my husband… what we endured to get to this point can't be put into monetary value
Jang Tae Soo: Would you object if we had limited edition litho graphs made of it….. this way more people would enjoy it …. There are more pieces that we could do the same….. in terms of business wise…. Selling an original is a one time thing… however, the lithograph images not to costly to make….. can garner a great deal more….. we can sign a contract whereby we can give you a commission on every piece we sell as long as you sell me the rights to reproduce it….. again I will pay you for that right….. that is how much I value your work.
Soo Young: Normally I would say yes immediately, but my husband has to have a say especially since this painting has him in it….. I've made to many decisions in the past without talking to him first.
Jang Tae Soo: Do you want to bring him to the gallery and we can have a frank conversation as to how we intend to promote this viewing.
Soo Young: Sweetheart… can we have dinner out tonight…. I have the best news to tell you
Sang Su immediately jumps to a conclusion… his mind races to : Is she really ….. are we even ready… my mother is getting her wish….. He responds with : Whatever you want babe… that's fine with me.
At dinner Soo Young orders a bottle of wine….. the news she has is worth more than one glass of wine…
Sang Su : Are you sure you should be drinking in your condition
Soo Young confused as to what Sang Su is thinking: Sweetheart….. what condition are you thinking of…. I'm fine ….. I'm so happy…. Jang Tae Soo wants to do a Solo Exibition of my work… can you believe it….. he even wants to sign me to a contract to sell the images of my paintings….. Sang Su … do you know what that means….. I could be a bonafide artist… no longer a nobody
Sang Su smiles and almost sad: I'm really happy for you… but I'm a bit sad….. here I thought you were going to tell me that we were having a baby
Soo Young: you're so funny… I promise you the day I find out I'm pregnant…. There won't be any misunderstanding….. that will be the very first words out of my mouth. ….. Now back to the real reason for our celebration… Can you come to the Gallery with me to go over all the details of this contract… I told him I couldn't do anything without your approval… Sang Su….. even if this show turns into a bust… I'll at least have the satisfaction that I once got to display my art in a high end gallery.
Sang Su: one of these days you will break that self defeating attitude of yours….. remember he came to you…. You ….. my beautiful and talented wife…. Who knows …. you may be in such high demand afterwards….. I may have to make an appointment to see you
Soo Young: Very funny… but you always think the best of me… Let me make a toast….. to my sweet , charming and very sexy husband… my life wouldn't be anything with out you… They each drink their glass of wine and then give each other a tender kiss.
Jang Tae Soo meets with Sang Su and Soo Young and goes over all the details of how he intends to promote Soo Young's work…. Not only will her work be on display in the Gallery, she will also makes the rounds of different talk shows and influencers that will bring clients to the Gallery.
With Seoul's ever increasing social media platforms … Soo Young could become a known commodity in the Seoul growing art scene especially with the story behind the art.
Sang Su looks at Soo Young's eyes that that have widen and the almost giddy smile on her face
Sang Su: Soo Young is this what you want to do…. Your little quite haven that you've built may not be so quite anymore…. You will be under a lot of pressure to produce new work… and also on public display
Jang Tae Soo: your concerns for public display will be limited to special promos… but we will establish an instagram accounts with profile pages that people can see and that will help gage the acceptance . This won't be like you doing this all on your own… We already have a proven track record how to promote you and your work… Soo Young your primary job will be to paint
Soo Young: Sweetheart I know you always worry about me… but I've stopped myself before by worrying what will happen… I'm no longer alone… I have you….. Mr Jang is a business man ….. I don't think he would carelessly throw his money away on a whim…. As far as our story….. it is unique… who knows maybe in some way we actually help someone not make the same mistakes we did… we will never know unless we try
Jang Tae Soo: Does this mean you two are in agreement…. I can have a contract drawn up

Sang Su: Draw up the contract like you said
Jang Tae Su: Now that this is settled….. we will start and have all your work professionally framed….. to recoup some of the initially expenses we will have to sell some of the originals… keep this in mind if someone is willing to pay you a considerable amount of money for a piece that you think you don't want to sell … you can always paint another version of it as long as they aren't identical
Soo Young: I understand what your telling me… I won't be closed minded….. I promise…. Mr Jang … Thank You for having faith in me… you have no idea how much this means to me…. I will do my best to make you proud of me.
In preparation for the initial promotion to the Gallery Exhibit… Soo Young is required to do a professional photo shoot with some of her framed art….. with her model looks she is a natural for the billboards and that light up some of Seoul's sky lines especially in the high end business districts.
Once the Images begin appearing on the street … Officer Jung Jong Hyun working traffic detail starts having flashbacks of what might have been….. The smile that appears on Soo Young's face that graces the billboards was different from the solemn smile that was ever present at the bank and during their short time together… looking back he came to realize that she never loved him….. her thoughts of him were only those of love for a friend helping a friend in need of a break. Even the sex between them was never what lovers should be to each other.
He looks to the billboard and thinks: Soo Young ….. I called you a bitch….. I'm deeply sorry for such a callous remark….. You look happy now… I wish you all the success you dreamed of…. You deserve it….. thank you for everything you did for me.
His partner comes behind him as he stays focused on Soo Young's image
Partner: Hey buddy….. are you have one of those fantasies….. that is a pretty babe, but she is so out of your league
Jong Hyun: Your'e right….. a girl like her could only be dreamed about

The big lead up to the Premier Night for her exhibit is several daytime talk shows Jang Tae Soo has booked for her… the highest rated daytime show the City Scene with Choi Na Ri
Choi Na Ri : Ladies and gentle we have a great show lined up for you today….. if you have noticed their is a new face that has been popping up everywhere…. She's not an actress, she's not a model….. even though she has the face and body for both… she's an artist… an artist whose work tell a story … please welcome Ahn Soo Young
Soo Young takes a deep breath squeezes Sang Su's hand who is with her to give her moral support. Soo Young walks across stage and smiles and then stops and does a gracious bow to the audience….. then proceeds to shake Choi Na Ri's hand

Soo Young : Please do… Thank you for having me
Choi Na Ri: Before we get started … I have to say….. Why Art?….. I mean your beautiful….. You've got that perfect model's figure … She looks to the Audience … Aren't I right… The audience applause….Soo Young Blushes
Soo Young: Art has always been my refuge… growing up I would look around me and see all the beauty that surrounded me… I was raised in Tongyeong with it's pretty harbor and beaches so I had a lot of beauty to look at… I've never had any formal training , Once I put a pencil in my hand my eyes and hand seem to go in unison.
Choi Na Ri: Your manager has sent us stills of some of your work …I'm told that there is a story to each piece….. is take true?
Soo Young: Not all of them have a story….. but there those that are very meaningful in that they reflect moments in time that I struggled with understanding myself.

Soo Young: This is of the man I left unexpectedly … after a night of drinking he came to Tongyeong to find me and to bring me back …. I threw my Bank Id Card into the water and he rushed right in cloths and all …. The water was cold…. But when he wants something he doesn't let up

Sang Su cringes and is somewhat embarrassed but sheepishly walks on stage and he too bows to the audience… he sits next to Soo Young and immediately holds her hand to give him courage
Choi Na Ri: We won't get into the details, but you two have had a tumultuous love affair for a long time… Many of Soo Young's paintings are of some sad moments between you. But then we come to this one that would make every woman wish they where you Soo Young…..
The still of The wedding night… The Image of Soo Young and Sang Su naked embraced in a passionate kiss with Soo Young on her toes with her one hand with her fingers going through Sang Su's hair…. And the other on his back caressing him…Sang Su is holding her close to his chest. What makes this painting somewhat unique is that it's a reflection in the window with all the high rise building surrounding them. They appear to be as though they are a hologram in mid air in the middle of the city sky line.
Soo Young: This image on our wedding night stuck in my mind and I had to paint it…. Our 8 year love affair brought us to this point….. I'm so thankful that he never gave up on me
Choi Na Ri: Sang Su… why didn't you ever give up
Sang Su : I'll just say the words my father-in -law said to Soo Young…. "When You love someone… you just can't stop"… It took me some time to understand that.

Soo Young: that was a surprise to both of us, but I guess they liked us
Jang Tea Soo: apparently they do….. we've already been getting calls as to when the exhibit will be showing… keep painting
Sang Su becomes the topic of conversation at his Bank… not only do the customers stare at him , but the clerks begin to swoon over... branch manager takes notice
Ri Moon Sung: Sang Su….. ever since you got here you've become the main attraction….. how long is this going to keep up?
Sang Su: I'm sorry … Soo Young's popularity was unexpected… I'm sure it will die down once the exhibit is over and we both can get back to our ordinary life
Their ordinary life that they both dreamed of living continues to be disturbed when Jang Tea Soo receives another call from a fashion designer… Song Hyo Jin….. that saw the Choi Na Ri broadcast and just loved the natural appeal that Soo Young and Sang Su had on camera… the fact that they both are very photogenic was another plus… They discussed what Song Hyo Jin had in mind
Jang Tea Soo: Hyo Jin…. I get what you're looking for….. Soo Young and Sang Su certainly are fresh faces and display a blend of beauty and simplicity… when they look at each other they convey a message without saying a word….. they are special
Song Hyo Jin: Can you get them to become the faces of my new line that I will be showing… My promotional campaign can be a further benefit to your ultimate goal of making Soo Young the artist that you seek….. let's face it….. why not take advantage of while their hot.
Jang Tea Soo: I'll run it past them and get back to you
At the fashion photo shoot the very nervous Soo Young and Sang Su dressed in Song Hyo Jin latest designs were approached by photographer Pak Se Kyu
Pak Se Kyu: This is your first time right….. don't be nervous….. just be your normal selves…. You won't even know your being photographed
Sang Su: That's easier said than done
Soo Young: you're always the optimist…. I'm the pessimist….. remember….. if I don't see your confidence what happens to me… we can do this
The first shoot has them in the Black evening wear… Sang Su is wearing the Black Velvet Dinner jacket while Soo Young is wearing a black silk jump suit with a large bow with long ribbons sides dangling from her bosom.
Pak Se Kyu: are you sure you're not professional models… just be yourselves have fun , I'll do the rest….
Sang Su and Soo Young can't believe how good they both look to each other and begin giving themselves that look that only they know what it means….. Soo Young takes Sang Su's hand and looks into his eyes giving him that little special smile that means I can't wait to get you home
Sang Su also has that devilish smile that says: you're so sexy….. your body is so perfect … eat your hearts out guys she's mine
Pak Se Kyu took many photos and also had a video recording just incase they missed the perfect look they were looking for

Soo Young is wearing a black, orange and beige sweeter with virgin wool slacks….. Sang Su is wearing a beige turtle neck sweater with grey herringbone wool slacks. During this shoot they both are full of smiles with Soo Young snuggling against her man's chest giving him the look that she is all his… her hand plays with his hair and her face rests against his chest while his arm is draped around her neck and shoulder. Again the video recording captures all their playfulness.

Sang Su: We'll see ….. we're trying to have a baby
Soo Young: That is still our priority… I don't think I would be that appealing pregnant
Pak Se Kyu: you would be surprised… anyway….. you'll soon be seeing yourselves on those billboards and magazines… the pictures look awesome.
During a recent board meeting of KCU bank… The Chairman enquires about the progress in broading the banks appeal to solidify their position in the market. He mentions the billboards with the young couple that are popping up all over…. They got his attention
When he is told that the man is an Assistant Manager at one of the KCU branches and the girl is a former employee he becomes little irate
Chairman: Get me whose in charge of marketing….. why aren't we using our own assets?
The Executive Director of Marketing is summoned and enters the Chairman's office
Chairman: You're in charge of marketing… how long have you been doing your job….. tell me what you think your job is
Executive Director: Well sir it's to help make KCU Bank the most recognizable bank in the country
Chairman: Are we or is there more that we can do
Executive Director: There is always more that we can do
Chairman: Look out the window and tell me what you see
Executive Director somewhat confused: Sir…. what am I looking for?
Chairman: Marketing… Every time I look out this window I see Marketing… I see other companies marketing their products….. Do I see KCU ?… Do I see that young couple on that billboard promoting KCU instead of the clothing line they are promoting… As a marketing expert is that young couple effective in garnering attention
Executive Director: I would think so…. They project a warm feeling about themselves
Chairman: Bravo… You just saved your job… Did you know that couple have ties to KCU… I want that warm feeling that they project to be for KCU's benefit… have I made myself clear?
Executive Director sends out an email to Human Resources to find the company files on the couple that is on the billboards without any delays. As words spreads throughout HQ…. Mi Kyung goes to the Human Resource personal and asks why the need to know of Sang Su and Soo Young?
HR : Do you you these two people
Mi Kyung: Yes… Ha Sang Su is Assistant Manager at the Yoemnam Branch….. Ahn Soo Young resigned 4 years ago and now owns and operates a drawing cafe called Future Happiness….. this is her business card
HR: Thank you for your cooperation….. you may have saved a few peoples jobs
Mi Kyung: Why is there such a need for Sang Su and Soo Young
HR: The Chairman wants to meet them personally… that's all any of us know… thank you for your help… we will take it from here.
HR calls Sang Su at the Yoemnam branch
HR: Assistant Manager Ha do you still have contact with Ahn Soo Young
Sang Su: yes….. she's my wife
HR: that's even better yet….. can you and your wife come to HQ and meet with the Chairman… I can't give anymore information, since the Chairman wants to talk to you personally.
Sang Su: When would the Chairman like to meet with us?
Soo Young: it feels real strange coming back to HQ….. After all those attempts at trying to get a position transfer and being rejected… now the Chairman wants to talk to us personally…. Sweetheart… do you have any idea what this could be about
Sang Su: We will soon find out
Soo Young and Sang Su enter the Chairman's office and both bow their heads in respect
Chairman: you're both wondering why I called you hear… Looking at your files…. Both of you are and were exemplary employees… I'm curious Mrs Ha…. You finally got your position transfer that you worked so hard to achieve and you resigned the same day as the transfer went into effect… why?
Soo Young: It was a personal matter and I needed a change
Chairman: How did the two of get on the billboards promoting and marketing products?
Sang Su: Soo Young's art work was notice by the Curator of Mid Town Gallery …. He believed in her work and signed her to a contract… I became a by product…. You can say I was in the right place at the right time… I don't believe their is any conflict of interest with me doing this ... is there?.
Chairman: How have you been received
Soo Young: my instagram account has grown considerably ….. after the interview with Choi Na Ri it reach 3 million followers….. The latest increase with the clothing shoot… it's doubled again…..You can say we've been well received
Chairman: The image that the two of you project is the image I want KCU Bank to have….. we spend millions in marketing but our image remains stagnate… I want you two to change that…I want to sign both of you to an exclusive contract with KCU
Sang Su: We would have to talk it over with Jang Tae Soo since Soo Young is still under contract with him
Soo Young: He believed in me…. So I don't want to do anything to jeopardize our current relationship
Chairman: I'll have the Executive Director of Marketing get in touch with Mr Jang … I'm sure the fine details can be worked out….. KCU will be looking forward in working with you both.
On their drive home Soo Young and Sang Su begin to reflect on what has happened to them since they found each other again
Soo Young: Sweetheart have the two of us entered some alternate universe…. Ever since we met we couldn't catch a break… most of it was my fault, with a little help from you, however, now that we met up again… everything is turning up roses… we have made more money in such a short period of time… we are recognized wherever we go and now this… KCU the most discriminatory working environment wants us to be their new face… this is a dream and that dark cloud that was over us will reappear.
Sang Su: Let's enjoy it while it lasts… we are going to invest our money wisely so that if that dark cloud decides to revisit us , we can just sit back and laugh at it.
Soo Young: I love you… lets go home and fool around.
