Hello, bots and cons. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Young Justice: Their War, Our World. In the last chapter, Megatron and his fleet finally arrive on Earth and are already at work. Not only that, but the Dragon's Eye, a mystical gemstone, is bought by Lance Beaker at Madame LeRoux's private party in Paris, France.

Also, Robin and Zatanna admit their feelings for each other before the latter gets kidnapped by Kobra. That's not good at all.

*Unknown Location. Unknown Time*

"Everything is almost ready. The girl is in position for the ritual." A Kobra cultist informed.

"Excellent." Kobra smiled.

"But Lord Kobra, what about our allies: The Machination?" The cultist asked in worry.

"They don't know about my own agenda." Kobra smirked. Unfortunately, he was wrong as a black, yellow and white cybertronic Condor was listening to the entire conversation. When it got what it needed, it flew off back to the Decepticons.

*Isla Santa Prisca. 7:40 am*

"It's a shame Kobra chose to betray us." Strobe grinned as she didn't really like Kobra that much as their usefulness to them was their Kobra Venom and they already mass-produced it.

"Having a god against us would be troublesome." Ocean Master commented. They had just recruited him after a calm talk with him a couple of days ago.

"Luckily we won't, thanks to that anonymous tip we just sent to the Justice League. The Autobots will be bound to pick it up now." Glowshaft replied.

"No one betrays the Machination and lives to tell about it." Amazo stated.

"You said it, Amazo" Mammoth agreed. "Now, we let them do the dirty work for us."

*Happy Harbor. Mount Justice. 12:34 pm*

"Zatara, I know you're worried about your daughter, but you have to remain calm." Bishop reminded.

"How can I, Bishop!" Zatara yelled with anger and worry in his voice. "My daughter is in the hands of a fanatical cult!"

"We'll get her back, Giovanni." Dinah reassured, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"First Artemis gets kidnapped by Klarion, now Zatanna gets kidnapped by Kobra, what's next, M'gann gets kidnapped by Grodd?" Blurr asked rhetorically.

"I hope that M'gann doesn't get kidnapped by anyone." J'onn deadpanned.

"Why would Kobra take Zatanna besides for her magic?" Greyhound brought up.

"We find Kobra, we find Zatanna." Kaldur said.

"Hey guys. I caught some Kobra cultists." Cliffjumper grinned.

"How'd ya catch them, Cliff?" Dick asked.

"Well, they made the stupid choice of attacking the place where I work." Cliff answered.

"Then we can interrogate them." Diana said, hopeful.

"No need. The League got an anonymous tip about the cult of Kobra's location earlier today." Bruce brought up, typing on a holomap. "They're on Kobra Island in the South Pacific Ocean, five hundred miles off Indonesia."

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Dick ran to the door of Mount Justice, making Zatara look at him in surprise, but still suspiciously.

"Wait up!" Wally ran in front of him. "I can't believe this is coming out of my mouth, but we need to slow down and come up with a plan first!"

"You want a plan? Why not ask me for some new toys as well?" A voice called from the other side of the door.

"The optics of the Autobots widened. "I know that voice…" Bumblebee gained a smile on his faceplate.

"Wheeljack!" Jazz exclaimed happily as the door opened to reveal Wheeljack.

"When did you get here?!" Ironhide shouted, more than happy to see the Autobots' gadget man.

"Oh, a week ago, but I didn't want to tip off the Decepticons." Wheeljack answered. "Luckily, I subtly tracked all these Autobot signals here. Though, the form I took was a Dodge Dart as that was all that I could see."

"Good to have you with us, Wheeljack, cause we're about to do something really dangerous. We need all hands on deck for this one." Bishop commented.

"Autobots, Roll Out!" Optimus ordered and the Autobots transformed to their vehicle modes and sped off while the League and Team followed, either by flying or having their vehicles at the ready.

"Let's go save my daughter." Zatara said.

"You guys go on ahead. I got to get the other Green Lanterns on Earth as well as something I didn't think I'd ever use. I'll see you all at Kobra Island." Hal flew off to get his additional reinforcements.

"So, Bats, do we know what Kobra's plan is?" Flash asked, running at full speed.

"Kobra plans to enact a ritual to turn himself into a god and Zatanna will end up being his bride to be, his slave." Batman answered darkly. "If they kiss, she will be under his control forever."

"WHAT?!" Zatara shouted at the top of his lungs.

"We'll save your daughter, Giovanni.' Black Canary reassured while riding in Skywinder.

*Kobra Island, South Pacific Ocean. 500 Miles from Indonesia. 15:23 pm*

Kobra was walking up to the front of a stage with many cultists sitting, awaiting their leader to embrace his destiny. "Now, my bride to be, you will join me as we ascend to become gods!" Kobra declared as he put an amulet on a small pedestal. The amulet was a golden snake with emerald eyes, and they were real emeralds.

"I won't ever join you!" Zatanna screamed, struggling to escape her binds. She was wearing a white wedding dress with a full wide floor length skirt, elbow length white gloves, poofy sleeves, white sleeves, a tiara and vell, and on the chest area will the emblem of kobra as well as white high heels

Oh, you won't have a choice, my dear." Kobra grinned as the lights dimmed and he began speaking an ancient incantation for an equally ancient ritual. Kobra was using the amulet to channel Zatanna's magic and turning himself into a god. His body was swelling, his legs becoming longer and morphing together to form a massive tail, while his torso and arms grew scaly and his hands became clawed. His canines grew much longer and needle thin, while his nose completely vanished. His entire body became over fifty feet long and rippled with muscle. Snakes started coming out of a large hole on each one of his shoulders. His voice became more snake-like and to top it off, he was now able to shoot lightning out of his hands.

All the while, Zatanna was screaming in pain, trying to fight the will Kobra was imbuing onto her, but ultimately, it was too much and her eyes began glowing green, and magic was surging through her body. "I will do your bidding, my lord."

"I know you will." Korba smirked, his new forked tongue flicking out for a second. Their faces came close to touching until an explosion knocked off the large doors.

"OBJECTION, YOUR HONOR!" Bumblebee, Kid Flash, Blurr, and Robin shouted loudly.

"Whoa! I didn't think Kobra could get any uglier!" Kid Flash recoiled.

"Let her go, Kobra!" Zatanna demanded.

"You cannot hope to ssstop me now." Kobra shot lightning from his hands at the heroes.

"MOVE!" Superman shouted and everyone moved out of the way.

"Wheeljack, check the energy readings on Kobra!" Optimus ordered.

"On it, Prime!" Wheeljack did a quick, but thorough scan. "You guys aren't gonna believe it, but Kobra's power has grown off the scale!"

"So, what you're saying is…" Bishop started.

"He's essentially turned himself into a god." Wheeljack said grimly, firing at the newly-made snake man.

"Oh, that's great!" Bishop retorted, punching a cultist straight in the face.

"Zatanna, destroy them." Kobra commanded.

"Yes, my lord." Zatanna obeyed stoically.

"Zatanna! You don't have to fight this!" Robin pleaded, but it fell on deaf ears.

"Llaberif!" Zatanna conjured up a fireball and threw it at Robin, Miss Martian, and Superboy, but luckily, Aqualad found water to channel, blocking the fiery projectile. However, she shot another fireball to the side and it hit them, dispersing instantly.

"It's no good! Kobra's hold on her is too strong!" Miss Martian informed.

"We have to reach her!" Robin shouted.

"How the hell are we gonna do that?!" Bishop shouted back.

"Miss Martian, try to mind link with Zatanna!" Aqualad said.

"I'll try." Miss Martian attempted a mind link with her friend, but was finding a new mental barrier from Zatanna's mind. "Ah!" She flinched in pain. "Kobra's put up a barrier in her mind!"

"Damn it!" Artemis fired arrows at more cultists.

Suddenly, the roof of the Kobra Complex exploded and Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, and Guy Gardner dropped in. "Anyone need some extra willpower?" Guy snarked as they fired green energy at Kobra which began pushing him back a bit. Lois even supercharged them with her blue lantern energy. Unfortunately, that still wasn't enough as Kobra slammed his tail into the ground, creating a small seismic shockwave, forcing them to stop and evade it.

Hal took a minute while this was going on to put a collar on Zatanna and immobilize her for the time being. "I have two questions Hal. What collar did you put on my daughter and where did you get it from?" Zatara asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It's an anti magic collar I got while I was visiting the planet Equis." Hal answered.

"Nice, now we can focus on Kobra." Jazz fired his Nucleon Charge Rifle at the god-like Kobra, but the shots just bounced off his new scales.

"Really? Cause we're not doing anything to him!" Cliffjumper exclaimed before getting knocked into a wall by Kobra's tail.

Kyle Rayner was groaning when suddenly, his body began radiating a bright green. "W-What's going on with me?!"

Suddenly, a bright green fish-looking creature appeared to him and only he could see it. "Kyle Rayner of Earth, I am the embodiment of willpower itself. I am Ion." It spoke.

"Ion!" Kyle's eyes went wide.

"I am granting you temporary access to my power. Use it wisely." Ion revealed. Within seconds, Kyle was feeling stronger than ever.

"I think we're just tickling him!" Superboy shouted as he hit Kobra with both of his fists, but was easily thrown into a wall, hard. A sickening crack was heard. His left arm was breaking, causing him to scream in pain. "AAHHH!"

"Superboy!" Miss Martian screamed, but she was zapped by Kobra, forcing her to go down.

"You can't posssibly hope to defeat me!" Kobra proclaimed as he shot more lightning, bringing down Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter before he was prepared for it. "You sssee?! You have no chance!" He then grabbed Wonder Woman and had a snake come out of his shoulder. The snake hissed and tried to bite her, but Batman knocked it away with a batarang.

Superman used freeze breath on him which actually seemed to do a bit of damage, but Kobra simply fired multiple snakes from his shoulders. Said snakes bit into the man of steel, bringing him down with their enhanced venom, but it wasn't enough to keep him down for long. Artemis fired arrows at Kobra's backside, but that wasn't effective, either as he grabbed her with his tail and threw her into a stone pillar, breaking her left leg. "AAAUUUGGGHHH!" She shrieked.

"Everyone!" Optimus Prime got everyone's attention. "We must destroy the amulet on Kobra's chest! That's the source!"

"How are we gonna do that?!" Black Canary asked, unleashing a sonic scream, pushing Kobra back, but not by very much. He zapped her with more lightning, sending her onto her back.

"Perhaps I can help you with that, Optimus!" Kyle ran up beside him. "Let's do it!" Optimus nodded and he sent out a beam off energy from the Matrix while Kyle unleashed a wave of energy, courtesy of Ion. Kobra was trying to move forward, but the combined energy blast was holding him back.

All of a sudden, his amulet cracked and was shattered. "NO! NO! IT CAN'T BE! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Kobra shouted at the very top of his lungs as all the god-like power and energy swiftly left his body. He continued screaming until all the energy was gone. Soon, he dropped to the ground with a hard thud.

Ion then left Kyle's body, leaving him a little exhausted. After they were sure Kobra was defeated, Zatanna's eyes returned to normal and Hal removed the collar from her neck. "What's going on? Why am I in a wedding dress?" Zatanna asked, obviously confused.

Zatara didn't waste any time and tightly hugged his daughter. "Oh, Zatanna… I was so worried about you."

"Dad…" Zatanna returned the hug, tears falling from both of their eyes.

"T-This can't b-be happening..." Kobra slurred, struggling to get back up on his feet. "I-I was s-supposed to b-be a g-g-god..."

"Guys! Decepticon Ground bridge incoming!" Sidewinder shouted. However, who came through sent chills through everyone except Optimus.

"Optimus Prime... How good to see you again." Megatron grinned, walking slowly out of the ground bridge.

"Megatron..." Optimus growled.

"I see you did all the dirty work for us." Megatron commented, walking up to the still struggling Kobra. "A pitiful excuse for trying to become God." He raised his foot and easily crushed Kobra's head, a pool of blood immediately forming. Seeing this caused Black Canary, Artemis, Zatanna, Kid Flash, Green Arrow, and Guy Gardner to unleash the contents of their stomachs on the floor. Megatron then activated his comm. "Decepticons, send this island to oblivion."

The Autobots already knew what the Decepticons were going to do. "We have to get the hell out of here!" Bumblebee shouted in pure panic.

Outisde, a gray F-22 Raptor (Starscream), two F-18 Super Hornet Jets (Skywarp and Thundercracker), a B-2 Stealth Bomber (Skyquake), and a F14 Super Tomcat (Dreadwing) flew in close to the island and began firing volleys of missiles. Everything was consumed in flames. Trees were either uprooted and scorched. The ground itself was burned at least five times over, and all the unconscious cultists were no doubt being turned into charred skeletons. From a distance, it seemed the entire island was completely destroyed. Loud echoes could be heard from the numerous explosions occurring.

*Happy Harbor. Mount Justice. Zatanna's Quarters. 19:43 pm*

Zatanna was quietly sitting in her quarters when Dick walked in. "How you doing?"

"Considering I'm back here and with my friends and family, I'm doing a lot better." Zatanna managed a small smile.

"I was scared, Z." Dick admitted as he sat down beside him. "When you got kidnapped, I was completely focused on saving you."

"Really?" Zatanna asked, turning to look at him.

"Yeah. I told you back in Paris that I like you and I mean it." Dick brought up. "I mean you're beautiful, smart, witty..." He began blushing at his own words.

"Dick..." Zatanna started. "You're a very sweet guy. You're cute and your loyal to your friends to a fault. I admire that about you." She inched closer to him. "You're noble and care about people. I don't think I need to say more of what I like about you."

"I'm honestly flattered, Zatanna." Dick smiled.

Zatanna giggled. "I'm happy that you all saved me..." Next thing they knew, their lips touched each other. The two smiled and continued the kiss.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Young Justice: Their War, Our World. The heroes come up with a plan of rescuing Zatanna and stopping Kobra from ascending to godhood. Things look bad, even with four Green Lanterns, a Blue Lantern with Lois Lane. Kobra is defeated thanks to Optimus Prime and the embodiment of willpower itself: Ion.

Second of all, the Machination now have Ocean Master in their ranks. It's never good when the Machination grow their numbers, even without the Decepticons heavily bolstering them. They even kill off the Cult of Kobra and carpter-bomb the island while the League, Team and Autobots escape. Unfortunately, not everyone got out of the battle unscathed. Superboy now has a broken arm, Artemis has a broken leg, Black Canary has a couple bruised ribs, Green Arrow is getting snake venom removed from his body, and Lois is a little drained from supercharging the Green Lanterns. Even Cliffjumper has some internal repairs to do.

Finally, Robin and Zatanna have each other's first kiss.

Now, a little announcement: This story won't be going on for much longer, but I'm not cancelling this. Instead, I will be writing a sequel. If anyone has any ideas for the sequel, please let me know the same ways. I have yet to come up with a name for it yet.
