Chapter 48 Star Killer Base
Its been a month since the siege of Scarif to obtain the blue prints of the Sith's Ultimate weapon known as Star Killer base.
After the siege however though the planet was destroyed by the Empire using said weapon to try and kill them but failed.
Right now Sean was with the council discussing everything they learned from the Data.
"The whole thing has one major weakness. It's Thermal Oscillator. We take that out and the whole thing will be destroyed." Sean said.
"How are we supposed to get to it though? Theres a planetary Shield around the place. Theres no way we can get in." Ahsoka said.
"Not exactly true. These things have one weakness. If someone is coming in through hyperspace they can slip right past the shield and the alarms. It's not easy though. The timing has to be precise." Sean said.
"Which is why we're currently making preparations in order to do this." Tarkin said.
"It's gonna take a few days. and I'll bet anything the Empire is getting everything they have to defend this thing." Sean said leaving.
Later
Carrera screamed as she was in middle of delivering as Sean held her hand.
"OH GOD!" Carrera screamed as she pushed before yelling as she pushed harder before soft crying was heard making her sigh as Sean smiled kissing her.
"There. That wasn't so bad." Sean said before Carrera cried out again as Ann took another look.
"Oh we're not done here. Not yet." Ann said making her widen her eyes.
"Oh my." Carrera moaned as she started pushing again.
"It's ok." Sean said as she screamed louder before another soft cry was heard.
"Ok...We got one more." Ann said making Carrera groan as she started pushing again.
"These will be the only ones we have for a long while." Carrera strained as she started pushing.
"AHHHH!" Carrera screamed and heard another soft crying making her sigh in relief.
"Here we go." Ann said giving the first to her in a pink blanket making her smile as she held her daughter.
She had brown hair like her father before opening her eyes showing her mother's red eyes making her giggle.
"Hello, Mercedes." Carrera said making her giggle as Carrera kissed her. "Momma loves you so much." Carrera said before the second one in a blue blanket was brought to them making her smile. "Oh. Your a rare type for our kind. Not many male Sirens." Carrera said seeing he had green hair like his mother before opening his eyes showing yellow colored eyes and smiled at her.
"So what are you gonna name him?" Sean asked making her smile.
"I was actually thinking of...Noah." Carrera said making Noah giggle as she kissed him. "Noah Kruger." Carrera said as the final one in a pink blanket was brought to them.
She had Pink hair and blue eyes as she giggled at her mother making her smile as she held her close.
"Rati." Carrera said.
"What that name?" Sean asked.
"It was the name of a friend who died in a Hutt deal gone bad. This is my way of remembering her." Carrera said kissing her youngest who giggled before yawning.
"Soon we'll have all the time we want with them." Sean said making her smile.
Later
Sean was working on the Ebon Hawk as he wanted to make sure it would help get past the shield.
"I thought I might find you here." Tarkin said walking to his son.
"Just making sure everything is in order. This ship is real old. Constantly needs new parts and upgrades." Sean said.
"You could always just make a new one of the same design." Tarkin said making him scoff.
"Not a chance. This ship holds a lot of memories. Not to mention it's helped out a lot over the years both during and before the war." Sean said.
"Very true. And when this war is over...What do you plan to do?" Tarkin asked making him smirk.
"I uh...I actually plan on taking a long leave of absence to spend time with the kids since this war has taken a lot of time away from them." Sean said.
"I see. Who would take your place?" Tarkin asked.
"I was thinking either Anakin or David since Anakin despite his antics does know what he's doing. That whole thing where the Empire was listening to our communications when R2 went missing was proof enough." Sean said. (It's true since even though he can be a fool sometimes he has proven he's a good leader by example)
"I suppose." Tarkin said before an Alert came through.
"Now what?" Sean asked answering.
"Hey kid." Reti said.
"Reti? I haven't heard from you in a while." Sean said.
"Busy times. Anyway I was just doing a little reconnoissance on this secret weapon. The Star Killer base is huge." Reti said.
"We're already aware of that." Tarkin said.
"Then you know that the whole place is one big battlefield?" Reti asked confusing them.
"Come again?" Sean asked.
"I mean it. Seriously. The Sith are actually fighting themselves." Reti said.
"All of them?" Tarkin asked.
"Mostly against all their droids and Sentinels. Looks like the machines turned against them." Reti said.
"Send us a visual." Sean said.
Later
Everyone looked seeing that Reti was telling the truth seeing the droids and Sentinals fighting aginst the Sith and soldiers of flesh and blood.
"This doesn't make any sense." Anakin said.
"Why would their machines suddenly turn on them?" Soap asked.
"I don't know." Sean said.
While this was going on Mutant Sean went to the Cells before opening Erik's and pushed him into a wall hard making him grunt.
"What have you done now?" Sean asked.
"I don't know what your talking about." Magneto said before groaning as he was punched.
"Don't fucking lie to me. I know your tricks and betrayal more than Charles does. You did something to the Sentinels." Sean said.
"I don't know what your talking about. I couldn't do anything of my own free will with that collar on me. You know that." Magneto said making him glare.
"He's telling the truth." Avatar Sean said.
"And you know because?" Mutant Sean said.
"We questioned him relentlessly when he and Freya came back. She told us everything willingly as did he. He's not lying about anything." Avatar Sean said making him glare before dropping Magneto who coughed.
"If your not behind this...Who is? I doubt Essax is doing this." Mutant Sean said.
"There...Might be one possibility." Magneto said.
"And that is?" Avatar Sean asked.
"I remember before we were deployed to Scarif...Essax told concerns about the Sentinels main command center known as Master Mold. Saying it was acting strange. It's possible it has become sentient." Magneto said.
"In which case turned on the Empire." Mutant Sean said.
Later
"So this Master Mold has turn the whole droid army against them." Kenobi said.
"This is the Opportunity we've been waiting for. We can use this to our advantage. With their forces divided fighting themselves we can still sneak in and take control of that weapon. Maybe even fully damage the Oscillator enough for our fighters to do some real damage." Organa said.
"I agree. Get the entire fleet ready. We're ending this war today." Sean said.
"Right." Thrawn said.
Above the Planet Hundreds of ships were ready.
"So me and the Task force along with Forge's forces will sneak in and make sure the shield is down so all our forces can invade." Sean said.
"How do you plan to get in there with the shield up?" Adi asked.
"Going into hyperspace theres a small gap for us to get through. It's gonna be close." Sean said as he went into Hyperspace with the Ebon Hawk.
Later
Above the Star killer base the whole planet was a battle zone.
Thats when The Ebon Hawk appeared past the shield and managed to land.
"Ok we made it. First thing's first we need to make sure the shield gets turned off." Sean said.
"My team and I will handle that." Forge said.
"And we'll handle the oscillator." Price said.
"Let's get moving." Soap said as they moved out.
Forge and his team arrived in the control room.
"Say we do this and actually defeat the Sith for good. What then?" Del asked Iden.
"Honestly...I think I'll be taking a leave of absence since I need a break from all this crap." Iden said as they made it in.
"Del, do your magic." Forge said getting him on the console.
"This should only be a couple minutes." Del said before they heard heavy footsteps Making Hask look seeing Super Battle droids.
"Try to speed it up if you can." Hask said as he and Forge started firing on them.
"Got it." Del said as the Shield was down.
Meanwhile
"The Shield is down. Commence attack on Stat Killer base." Carth said.
"Here we go." Korra said in her Jedi Starfighter as they all went into Hyper Space.
Meanwhile
Malgus growled seeing the devastation on his base.
"I never should have agreed to let Essax join us." Malgus said.
"Master, we have hundreds of incoming cruisers." A Sith Apprentice said.
Thats when the entire Legion fleet emerged.
"NO! Everything we've worked for will be lost!" Malgus roared as he left.
"I want all Squad leaders to converge on the main target." Tarkin said.
"Copy that." Anakin said as he and the best pilots went in.
"I've been waiting a long time for this." Nym said as they started firing on the oscillator.
Sean was currently up against two Sith warriors before cutting them down.
"Thats a royally league pain." Sean said leaving.
Coming into a training room he found dozens of dead Sith and Droids seeing they were caught by surprise.
"I wonder how this all even started." Sean said.
"You can find out soon enough." Mister Sinister said making Sean face him seeing his wounded face.
"What the fuck happened to you?" Sean asked.
"I don't know how the Master Mold turned on us but I know one thing...You are not going to destroy years of work." Mister Sinister said as Sean pulled out his Power Sword.
"The Legion fleet numbered in the Hundreds along with UNSC, Titans, Mutants and Gods are here. You really think you have a chance to stop us?" Sean asked.
"I know one thing. Even if this base is destroyed...I'll at least have the pleasure of killing you." Mister Sinister said charging at him.
Meanwhile
Olympian Sean roared as he fought against Ares having run into one another by Chance as their swords clashed.
"Last time you had the Power of Pandora's Box to help you! This time you don't!" Ares roared.
"I have all the power of Olympus at my side I think I don't need to worry about a power struggle." Olympian Sean said as they continued to clash.
Pyro laughed as he made several Fire monsters to hold back the X men.
"I forgot how annoying this guy is." Gambit said.
"Just disconnect his fuel supply and he's easy to take down." Jean said.
Pyro continued to laugh as he held them back before gunfire hit his canisters making him gasp looking at the Master Chief who shot at them.
"NO! NOOOO!" Pyro screamed as they exploded damaging him as he screamed in pain having lost his legs and part part of the back of his head.
"Gross." Kurt said before Chief shot him in the head.
"We need to keep moving. Captain Price needs backup." Chief said.
"Right let's go." Cyclops said.
Godzilla roared as he used Atomic breath on Several Sentinels before the ground opened up before three Sentinal versions of him appeared.
"Ok. This is getting stale and repetitive." Godzilla said annoyed sick and tired of dealing with Machine versions of him. "I honestly hate Sarah for making the first one." Godzilla said.
"I HEARD THAT!" Sarah yelled in Mothra's form above them.
'Oh lord.' Titan Sean said.
Meanwhile
Avatar Sean and Mutant Sean were pinned down by Dark Troopers with Ray Shields around them.
"I don't even remember these in the movies!" Avatar Sean yelled as he pulled out his Star Saber and sent a slash of Power at them destroying them.
"Everything has royally changed. How long till you think this planet is doomed to explode?" Mutant Sean asked.
"I'd say anytime now. It hasn't charged up because of these things running wild." Avatar Sean said before a Imperial cruiser crashed down.
"Add to the fact that they seem to be winning from this point of view." Mutant Sean said before an explosion occurred in front of them before Essax's head flew out as Sean rushed out.
"How are things looking?" Sean asked.
"So far it looks like both sides are suffering heavy losses." Avatar Sean said.
"What about Malgus and the others on the Sith Council?" Sean asked.
"No sign of most of them. We did run into Malak a while ago but he fell into a trench." Mutant Sean said.
"Let's keep going." Sean said as they rushed off.
Meanwhile
Anakin and the others were still attacking their target.
"We're not doing enough damage. We need an opening to get in there." Nym said.
"Price! How's it going in there?" Anakin asked.
Inside the Droids had them pinned down as they just kept coming.
"We're a little occupied at the moment. They just keep coming." Price said.
"We just need one opening." Korra said.
Taylor looked around before seeing gas veins.
"I got an idea. If we can blow those veins we should make an opening for them big enough to get in here and take them down." Taylor said.
"We need a good explosive on that." Griggs said.
"Leave that to us." Chief said as he and the X men rushed in before he and Wolverine started slashing through them forcing them back.
"We got backup here!" Mason yelled.
"Get that opening for us. If we take it down the whole place will go and take all of them with it." Korra said.
Meanwhile
Sean was on his own looking for any high Ranking Sith before he ran into the one he was looking for.
"Malgus." Sean said seeing the Sith he hated the most glaring at him.
"So we meet again. I was looking forward to this." Malgus said as they circled each other.
'Careful. This one is different compared to the others.' Son said.
'I know.' Sean said as he pulled out his four bladed lightsaber.
"Today marks the end of the War. I will regain control of this base and destroy the Legion once and for all." Malgus said.
"Not today." Sean said before taking off his Inhibitors letting the place shake for a second before it stopped.
"So...You've regained your full connection." Malgus said.
"Oh yeah. And this ends today." Sean said as they charged at each other.
Meanwhile
Ares roared as he and Olympian Sean fought with the Later proving he was even stronger than ever before.
Olympian Sean pulled out a Dagger and stabbed him in the side making him groan in pain before being kicked back.
"Do not forget Kruger...I was the one who made you who you are today." Ares said.
"I will never forget that. You made me what I am today at first. Put me on this path. But that doesn't make what you made me do acceptable." Olympian Sean said.
"You wouldn't kill me again...Would you brother?" Ares asked.
"We share blood. But we are not brothers. I say what said last time. There was a time I would have gladly served you for all eternity...If you hadn't crossed the line that night." Olympian Sean said.
"That night." Ares said still remembering it. "I was just trying to make you a great Warrior." Ares said.
"You succeeded." Olympian Sean said before stabbing him in the chest making him groan just like last time before dying again.
Only this time He absorbed what he represented this time around. Finally he had all the powers of Olympus.
Sighing Olympian Sean rushed off to help the others.
Meanwhile
Anakin and the others were still over the target before a large explosion came out.
"Theres our opening. Nym you're up." Korra siad.
"Going in." Nym said going inside the hole before he started blasting the hell out of the place.
Outside multiple explosions occurred as Nym flew out.
"YEAH!" Nym yelled.
"The whole place is coming apart. I want all forces to withdraw now!" Anakin yelled.
"Roger that." Price said.
Meanwhile
Sean and Malgus continued to fight one another before the former blasted him with red lightning making him roar in pain.
"You may be older and more experienced. But you lack the resolve to win. I don't though. I have a reason to win today." Sean said making him growl trying to slash him but he kept dodging easily.
"I HAVE KILLED HUNDREDS OF JEDI ALONE!" Malgus roared.
"With unfair advantages. I win with my own power along and with those I trust. You do it through sheer numbers. And now everything around you will come tumbling down." Sean said as explosions went off.
"NO! NOOOO!" Malgus roared before groaning as Sean stabbed him in the chest.
"This...Is for Nova." Sean said pulling it out as he fell to the ground but still alive as he groaned.
"Showing Mercy?" Malgus asked.
"Killing you...As you are would make me no different than you. I won't do it. Instead...You can die with your precious Base." Sean said as he left making him growl.
Arriving back at the Ebon Hawk he found a dead Grievous by his Olympian Counterpart.
"Most of the Sith are dead. The explosion will take out the rest of them." Freya said.
"Let's go." Sean said as everyone boarded to escape the planet.
"All forces are accounted for. Time to Withdraw." Tarkin said as the fleet soon left as the whole Planet exploded with the Entire Sith empire with it and the Sentinels.
Later
The Entire Legion fleet arrived back on Coruscant to recover.
"I can't believe it. It's finally over." Korra said holding Sean close as he smiled.
"Oh this is the best day in a long time." Sean said.
"You know this is a point to Celebrate. I got an idea for that one." Avatar Sean said.
"You gonna do your little Comedy routines with the Puppets?" Will asked.
"I said I'd do it after the war to prove mister who crashes I'm a top level Comedian." Avatar Sean said.
"Oh I remember now." Anakin said. "And I don't crash all the time." Anakin said annoyed.
"Oh please. You have a bigger debt in the things you crash than Anyone else." Sean said making his eyes twitch as everyone laughed.
"I'd say we could use entertainment for this victory." Tarkin said interested.
"Cool." Avatar Sean said.
Authors Note: Sorry for the wait...I uh took a break from this to work on my Avatar of Justice. I now have 10 Chapters ready. I plan to do a massive update during that time for it.
