Chapter 51 The Metal Clan
Sean was waking up in his quarters on a luxury cruiser traveling around the Earth to keep out of Zaheer's reach.
It's been a couple weeks since he learned about Zaheer who had escaped because of Boba and some other Bounty hunters who apparently had a grudge against him in some way.
Slowly getting up he looked behind him seeing Korra still asleep before seeing the Twins in bed with them as well making him smile as he got out of bed letting them sleep.
Dressed he walked out to the living quarters seeing his father reading a report before seeing him.
"Ah, there you are." Tarkin said.
"I fucking hate sleeping on these damn things." Sean said sitting down.
"Yes, well until we find them it's for the best. Anyway one of the surviving Lotus members gave us a description on who freed Zaheer and the others. I suppose our past always comes back to haunt us." Tarkin said.
"Meaning what?" Sean asked.
"The first Clone of Jango Fett. Boba Fett." Tarkin said.
"I almost forgot about that kid. What happened to him after his father was killed?" Sean asked.
"No one knows. Rumors spread that he was going to many corners of the Galaxy for a time but nothing solid. My best theory is that he's been gathering allies. Other Bounty hunters who have a grudge against the Legion and you." Tarkin said.
"Because we took down the Hutts and several other criminal organizations. Hell we completely wiped out the Largest slavery empire before the war and everyone supported us. Save for those who hated not having someone to sell people to for profit." Sean said getting a drink.
"All actions good and bad always have consequences later at some point. It's how things work." Tarkin said.
"Oh my god can we please Land!" Turok yelled annoyed making Sean scoff in amusement.
"Never could stand being off the ground for more than a few days." Tarkin said.
"Land this thing I need to stretch my legs." Sean said getting up.
After Landing Sean was on the ground with his Krayt dragon Drago in smaller form rubbing against him making him smile.
Turok was with Omega and Nexo who purred as Omega petted him.
"We're only going to be on the ground for a short time since we need to keep moving." Lin said.
"We're gonna have to confront them sooner or later. We can't keep running forever." Korra said as she held Naga close as the Twins slept between them.
"Besides Jinora is due any day now and the fact is the cruiser doesn't have a medical bay for delivery." Sean said as she sat next to him holding her close.
"No. It doesn't. Hold that thought." Tarkin said looking at a Holomap.
"Anything?" Korra asked.
"Ah, it turns out we are in luck. There is one City here that has everything we need. The Metal Clan." Tarkin said shocking Lin.
"Suyin's home? Thats convenient." Sean said.
"I thought she said she was gonna stand down as Senator and give it to someone else." Korra said.
"She plans to since after the war she wants to spend more time with her family." Tarkin said.
"Lets get going." Sean said as they were about to board when he looked at Lin. "Lin." Sean said.
"I don't suppose you can just send someone to take me back to Republic City?" Lin asked before yelling as she was dragged in.
"You've held this reunion off for 30 years." Sean said.
Later
The Cruiser arrived outside the Metal Clan.
"Wow." Omega said.
"Very impressive." Tarkin said.
"Haven't you guys ever been here before?" Asami asked.
"No not really. Been too busy back then. This will be the very first time for us to come and visit." Sean said as they landed on a platform before leaving save one.
"Lin." Korra said.
"No." Lin said.
"It has been 30 years since then. Are you seriously going to hold a grudge that long?" Sean asked making her glare. "All right but I'll let you in on a little secret you're gonna hate yourself later since you missed something." Sean said.
"What are you talking about?" Lin asked as they left making her frown.
Soon they arrived at Suyin's estate.
"Damn." Sean said.
"About half the size of the family estate back home." Tarkin said.
"Speaking of home I'm surprised you didn't go back to Eriadu after the war was over." Asami said.
"Oh no we did. We spent a month there after the war was over and spent time with my grandparents." Sean said making Tarkin chuckle.
"I love Alderaan and all but I like Earth more since it's more unique compared to the rest of the galaxy." Cara said as she held her daughter close as she cooed in her arms making her smile.
Arriving inside however though they found Suyin Arguing with someone who looked smug.
"Sean?" Opal said walking to him.
"Opal? Wow you look completely different from the last time I saw you." Sean said making her blush.
"It's been a while. So what brings you here?" Opal asked.
"Mostly a place to settle down for Jinora." Sean said as she held her pregnant stomach.
"The answer is no." Suyin said to whoever she was arguing with.
"Who the hell is that?" Korra asked.
"That's Wu. He's the Earth Queen's nephew and he's demanding that she help put him as the next King since a new one was put in his place." Opal said.
"Ah, Now I remember. He was evaluated but the council felt he was too much like her and found someone else. He must still think he has some pull." Tarkin said.
"Now listen here Senator. I am still the rightful heir to the Throne. And you will put me on that throne or else...Let's just say you'll be losing a few family members." Wu said making her glare.
"I'm afraid you are no longer in any position to demand anything." Sean said making his presence known.
"YOU!" Wu yelled angered. "HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR FACE HERE! You took away my throne from me!" Wu yelled.
"Because you wanted to join the Sith Empire." Sean said.
"So what? I am royalty. And if I want to join the enemy it is my right. Now get on your knees and serve me." Wu said before he started choking because of Sean using the force.
"I've had enough of the so called honerable Linage." Sean said snapping his neck as he fell forward before Suyin's security took him away.
"Finally. You have no idea how annoying it was dealing with him." Suyin said.
"I think I can more than assume on that actually." Sean said making her smile.
"So what brings you here. Clearly this isn't a social visit." Suyin said.
"We need a place to set down for Jinora since she's due any day now. Theres a group of people after me because of what I did to the Leader's father when the war started." Sean said.
"Who?" Suyin asked.
"The Clone Templet's son. Or at least the clone he considered a son. Boba Fett." Sean said.
"I read the reports on him and wondered what happened after the war." Suyin said.
"Well apparently he's gathered a group of people who have a grudge against me. Including some powerful Benders who tried to kidnap me and Korra when we were still kids." Sean said.
"Oh." Suyin said. "Well this place is considered one of the most save and secure places you'll ever find. I doubt they'll get in so easily. Is this everyone?" Suyin asked.
"No theres one more. Lin is here." Sean said making her frown.
"Lin? Where the hell is she?" Suyin asked.
"You have problems with her?" Asami asked.
"Your joking right? You don't know about me and Lin?" Suyin asked.
"She never mentioned you before." Mako said making her sigh.
"She's never gonna change." Suyin said.
"So whats your History?" Omega asked.
"Suyin is Lin's younger Sister." Sean said surprising some.
"Oh wow." Mako said.
Meanwhile
Lin was still on the cruiser looking at the City when.
"LIN!" Suyin yelled making her flinch.
"Oh here we go." Lin said facing her but was surprised to see her glare at her. "What are you glaring at me for?" Lin asked.
"I want you out of my city." Suyin said.
"What?" Lin asked.
"You heard me. I don't anywhere near here. All you do is take your frustrations out on everyone who's done nothing wrong or something else. Now get out." Suyin said.
"I'll leave when those Bounty hunters are captured." Lin said.
"Or so you can help them finish what you started before the war?" Suyin asked.
"THAT...I wasn't thinking straight. I am now. Just let it go." Lin said.
"No. I want you out. And I want you out now." Suyin said.
"Enough." Sean said walking in. "As much as I still have issues with her she is needed at the moment." Sean said.
"Fine." Suyin said leaving.
"The hell was that all about?" Lin asked annoyed.
"You seriously don't know do you?" Sean asked.
"What? Is this about what I did before the War?" Lin asked.
"No. This is about something after and like I said. When you find out what that is you'll hate yourself for it." Sean said leaving.
"What is he talking about?" Lin asked.
"You will see in time." Tarkin said leaving making her annoyed and concerned.
Later
Sean smiled as he put Himiko down in her crib.
"Aww. She looks so adorable." Kukaku said kissing her making her yawn in her sleep as she smiled at her.
"I just hope she's not like her mother when it comes to explosions." Sean said making her grin.
"Maybe we should have another. After all the War is over and obviously this punk is gonna end up failing and dying. So whats one more. Maybe I want a boy this time." Kukaku said making him snort.
"Tempting. But I wanna make sure that theres no danger to you and the others before that. After we take him down sure." Sean said making her giggle kissing him.
"You always did think things through." Kukaku said as the two left.
Heading to the Dining room they had a rather fancy feast.
"So how are things since the War ended?" Suyin asked.
"Good. Anakin has done a decent job since I gave him my old position to him. How bout you? Rumor is your planning to step down as Senator." Sean said.
"I was till Dooku asked me to keep my position for another five months. Said he had someone else in mind to take it but needed more training." Suyin said.
"Who?" Korra asked.
"Never said." Suyin said as she ate her food.
"That or she won't say." Lin said.
"Do you have something to say to me?" Suyin asked making her frown.
"Enough." Sean said.
"Sorry we're late everyone." Varrick said shocking most.
"What the?" Sean said.
"Varrick." Bolin said excited.
"What are you doing here?" Korra asked.
"Good question. I mean...What are any of us doing here?" Varrick asked before Cara aimed a blaster at him. "WHOA!" Varrick yelled.
"I mean why are you out of your cell?" Sean asked.
"I told you already. I wanted nothing to do with Raiko and the Sith. Those guys are maniacs. I'm just a little crazy is all. Raiko forced me to rig the election in his favor. I was as much a victim as everyone else." Varrick said.
"But you technically still committed a crime." Tarkin said.
"Against my will. Dooku said If I made sure voting systems weren't rigged again I could go free. And thats exactly what I did. Special AI system that detects hacks to make sure that never happens again." Varrick said. (This is currently the only story that he has next to No involvement in at all)
"It's true. Dooku did let him go after that." Suyin said.
"Fair enough." Sean said.
"He's still an accomplice." Lin said.
"At least he doesn't take his issues out on people." Suyin said.
"THATS IT!" Lin yelled throwing her stuff away making Mercy start crying making Cara growl.
"Nice going." Cara said taking her away as everyone else left.
"What is your problem with me? Because I don't talk to you? Or what happened 2 years ago?" Lin asked making her frown.
"You don't know do you?" Suyin asked.
"KNOW WHAT!" Lin yelled.
"Come with me." Suyin said leading her away.
Arriving outside they came to a grave.
"What the hell is this?" Lin asked.
"Read the damn name." Suyin said making her do so as he got closer.
Only to gasp in shock at what it read.
Toph Beifong.
"Mom?" Lin asked falling to her knees.
"Mom was dying from a rare disease two months ago. I asked Tenzin to tell you but he said you wouldn't listen when my name came up in it. I tried to tell you and you wouldn't accept my calls and blocked my messages. Mom passed away last month." Suyin said making her let out a shuddering breath.
"I...I...I'm so sorry." Lin said as Suyin sat next to her.
"Look I am sorry about what happened 30 years ago but you have got to let it go. What do you think would have happened if I stayed in Republic City? I would have been thrown in jail for the rest of my life. Is that what you wanted?" Suyin asked.
"No. I just...You're the reason Mom retired because she felt Guilty." Lin said.
"Wrong. Mom was planning to retire because she was sick and tired of things always being the same. Stop one criminal and another one just took over. She got tired of it. I had nothing to do with it." Suyin said.
"Is that what she told you?" Lin asked.
"She tried to tell you too but you wouldn't listen. You always took your anger out on anyone you felt deserved it without realizing it. Am I wrong?" Suyin asked making her sigh.
"No. I just...I hated how Mom always was. I thought..." Lin tried to say.
"You thought if you were with the Police you'd get some kind of special attention from her. It wouldn't matter. Mom was always going to be the way she was. She was a good Mom though. But she's gone. We're all we have left of her." Suyin said holding her close as she started sobbing holding her.
Sean saw all this and smirked.
"It's amazing what a little reconciliation will do for siblings who had a strained relationship." Tarkin said.
"Did you and Uncle Gideon ever have problems?" Sean asked.
"Not really." Tarkin said before they heard Jinora yell making Sean rush off.
Arriving in the room he found Jinora holding her stomach.
"What is it?" Sean asked.
"My Water Just broke." Jinora said making him sigh.
"Figures." Sean said picking her up.
Later
Jinora was at the Hospital so Ann could help deliver the Baby.
"Oooh." Jinora moaned as she was nearly ready.
"It's gonna be ok." Sean said.
"I wasn't fully ready for this 2 years ago. Now I am since it was actually planned." Jinora said making him grin as she started groaning.
"Ok hon start pushing." Ann said getting Jinora to do just that.
Jinora started whimpering as she pushed before.
"AHHHH!" Jinora screamed as a soft cry was heard making her sigh in relief.
"See? That wasn't as bad as the first time." Korra said before she yelled in surprise.
"What is it?" Sean asked.
"Oooh. We're not done. Got one more." Ann said.
"GRRR! What is it with you giving more than one?" Jinora asked annoyed.
"Oh sure. It's my fault." Sean said amused.
"Your the one with all the DNA of every species!" Jinora yelled making him grin.
"Fair enough." Sean said as she started pushing again.
"It's ok Jinora." Korra said.
"AHHHH!" Jinora screamed as she heard another soft cry.
"There we go." Ann said taking the second one away.
"I am not doing this again for another 10 years." Jinora said making Sean chuckle.
"So you say now. Kukaku says she wants another." Sean said before the first one was brought in a pink Blanket making Jinora smile as she took her daughter.
She had some blonde hair on her before she slowly started opening her eyes showing her mother's brown eyes and giggled at her making her smile kissing her head.
"Hi Honey." Jinora said as she cooed. "Hmm. How about Kyoshi." Jinora said making her giggle.
"After Avatar Kyoshi?" Korra asked.
"I think it's a good name." Jinora said before the second was also in a pink Blanket was brought to them. She had Brown hair like her mother before opening her eyes showing Forest green eyes like her father and giggled making them smile as Jinora kissed her. "YangChen." Jinora said.
"Named after another Avatar?" Sean asked.
"I think it's a good pick." Jinora said as she held them close.
"Now all we gotta do is find those punks and end this." Sean said.
Meanwhile
"So where are they?" Boba asked.
"Don't know. I do know that somehow they found out about us since Kruger moved not long after busting out Zaheer." Aurra said.
"He has to be somewhere." Boba said.
"I know where." Zaheer said. "He's at the Metal Clan." Zaheer said.
Authors Note: Sorry for the Long wait but I've been working on my other stories for a large Update for when I introduce my Avatar of Justice Story. I already got a few of them done. Now I know I promised a Lemon But I think I'm done with that since I just want this story done you know? Now Next Chapter is gonna be full of surprises.
