Hello, bots and cons, heroes and villains. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Young Justice: Their War, Our World. In the last chapter, we got two new Autobots in the forms of Bulkhead and the OC character Cruise. However, that may not be enough as the Machination have gained the allegiance of the Russian rogue paramilitary group: Darkstar. Things aren't looking good for the heroes.
Here is the list of OC/Story Contributors so far:
Mobian
Vein Bloodborne
Mpatton12
Doc Fossil
Gregory
I hope this list expands for this story as well as the planned sequel: Young Justice: Frontiers!
Now, back to the action with the first part of this story's finale: Zero Hour!
*Unknown Location. Unknown Time*
The Machination were all present in the underground base for this moment, whether it be physically there or on the comm system. T.O Morrow, Ivo, and Venomsting were inside the interior, ready for the big moment. "All right, Morrow. It's time." Ivo grinned.
T.O Morrow grinned back, his goggles on. "Finally. It can be powered." He slowly inserted the now whole Dragon's Eye into the power core of the battlestation. Within seconds, it came to life with a bright green color. All systems were operational, every weapons system was online, and the shields were up and fully charged. "YES! FINALLY! OUR BATTLESTATION IS COMPLETE!" Morrow raised his hands in a TV mad scientist fashion as he declared this loudly.
Everyone outside the structure were stunned and/or amazed beyond shock at seeing their biggest project since coming together completed. "So, when are we launching this bad boy?" Tommy asked, excitedly.
"Very soon." Hellcrest answered, chuckling sinisterly. "With this, we can wipe out the Autobots off the face of this planet."
"Not to mention the Justice League and their annoying sidekicks once and for all." Admiral Hook brought up. "On different matters, how are you enjoying Atlantis' throne, Ocean Master?"
"Very much, thank you." Orm smirked. "The only detractor was that Garth, Tula, and Ronal managed to escape while Mera is also unaccounted for."
"That is unfortunate, but not completely disastrous." Admiral Hook reasoned. "Even if they go to the League and the 'Bots, there won't really be anything they can do to stop us once this is in the air."
"Indeed." Black Mask cut in. "The shields will be the key advantage here."
"Everyone, are the forces assembled?" Megatron asked out of the blue. Everyone nodded. "Excellent. Joshua, has Ivo's scan of the Vehicon benefit?"
"They actually have!" Joshua cheered. "We can now begin mass production and even create new Traxes!"
"Well, that's something." Poison Ivy commented. "Here we thought your precious company would be stuck in the development phase."
"You thought wrong, Ivy." Joshua smirked.
"Now, it is time to crush all our enemies, once and for all!" Hammerstrike cheered. Everyone agreed with him. "Before that, what should we name it?"
"The Andromedome…" Megatron gained a savage, evil grin. "Prepare launch sequence." Everyone nodded and got to work.
*Happy Harbor. Mount Justice. 12:12 pm*
Everyone was happy when they got the news that Bulkhead and Cruise were at Omega-1. They needed all the help they could get. "Though I appreciate having Bulkhead and Cruise here, we still know nothing of Project: Andromeda, or how to take back Atlantis." Bishop wasn't so hopeful about the future. To him, it seemed the Decepticons always had the advantage and the Autobots were continuously playing catch-up.
"Bishop, we must continue to persevere." Wheeljack interjected.
"Yeah?! Tell that to the Fall of Cybertron!" Bishop raised his voice.
-Flashback Start-
*Cybertron. Ruins of Iacon East. Unknown Time*
Bishop was with a small squad of surviving Autobots, fighting off a massive force of Decepticons. Surprisingly, the Autobots seemed to be holding their own against the enemy forces. Suddenly, an Autobot was shot in the head and went down. "Scrap!" Bishop cursed. "We need to hold out!"
"We're doing the best we can, Bishop!" Another Autobot shouted before being gunned down, letting out a death cry.
"No!" Bishop shouted. He fired his weapons, taking out five Decepticons in said shots.
"Bishop! We're being overrun!" Another Autobot soldier shouted.
"Fall back! We have no choice!" Bishop fired as he and the remaining Autobot began falling back to the entrance of a weapons depot. Once there, they managed to find an actually defensible position. Bishop then found a few more Autobots hiding out there. "Sorry, my friends, but we had to fall back. Are you all still able to fight?"
"We will fight with you, Bishop." An Autobot smiled, readying his weapon.
"Thank you." Bishop smiled slightly as he readied his own weapons once again, more than ready to kill some Decepticons.
-Flashback End-
*Happy Harbor. Mount Justice. 12:12 pm*
"It seems that our race will never know peace." Bishop lamented. "All we seem to be good at is killing each other."
"Bishop, we all know you haven't been the same since your friends were killed and Cybertron going dark." Wheeljack hung his head low.
"I would give everything to see them for one last time." Bishop started to tear up.
"We all wish we could go back to the way things were before the war, but that's not possible." Wheeljack reminded.
"And that's what hurts the most." Bishop whispered, sadness evident in his voice as he walked off. Wheeljack sighed.
In another part of Mount Justice, Dick, Zatanna, and her father were having a conversation regarding the relationship of the two. Dick was nervous about this. "Zatara, sir. I-I really like your daughter. When Kobra kidnapped her, all I could think of was getting her back."
"I guessed that already, Richard." Zatara said softly. "I just worry about my little magician a lot."
"I understand completely, sir." Dick nodded. "I would never, ever do anything to hurt her." Zatanna blushed deeply at his words.
Suddenly, something interrupted their conversation. "EVERYONE! WE'RE PICKING UP A MASSIVE ENERGY SIGNATURE!" Bishop shouted loudly over the commlink. Everyone ran into the main lobby. They witnessed the new Skyspy drone spotting Project: Andromeda rising from the ground, leaving behind nothing but a massive hole where it was created. Needless to say, everyone was beyond shocked and scared. "That's Project: Andromeda?!" Oliver exclaimed with wide eyes.
"It's a monstrosity…" Zatara breathed.
"I already sent a message to the Forever People to meet up with us." Blurr cut in. He then turned to Garth, Tula, and Ronal. "You three will have to help us with this. You think you can?"
"We'll help you." Tula had a serious look on her face. "I just wish we could've helped Atlantis." She then felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Windstrike.
"Tula, we'll help Atlantis. It may not happen immediately, but we will do it. We did save Vlatava, after all." Windstrike attempted to reassure the Atlantean.
"All hands on deck for this one." Cliffjumper said grimly.
"How could we have been so blind to not look underground?!" Dinah growled in frustration.
"Not only is that thing that's coming right now, but the Machination's sending practically everything they've got at us!" Ratchet shouted.
"We have to stop them!" Diana shouted with utter determination.
"Hold on, Diana." Bruce cut off already typing on his computer. "I'm detecting shields covering that battlestation. We have to take those offline in order to damage it at all."
"How in the hell are we gonna do that?" Embersting asked in fear, still looking at the monster of a battlestation.
"Guys… it's heading toward the Watchtower!" Arcee exclaimed, making everyone's eyes go wide.
*Outer Space. The Andromedome. 14:34 pm*
The Andromedome reached the position of the Watchtower in just a few minutes. Everyone on said Watchtower was hastily evacuating the location. Within the battlestation, it was piloted and operated by Vehicons while Decepticons and Machination members were overseeing the functions. "There's that accursed Watchtower…" Ivo sneered.
"Finally, we can take it out." Morrow grinned. Ready weapons!" All weapons on the Andromedome turned toward the Watchtower. "FIRE!" All weapons fired upon the Watchtower and in a dew seconds, there was absolutely nothing left except a few specks.
"That's how you send a message!" Ivo laughed as he shook hands with T.O Morrow.
"Let's see how the League and their sidekicks react to this." Morrow grinned.
"Amazo, transport down to Earth and help deal with them." Ivo smirked.
"As you wish, Ivo." Amazo bowed and went through a Decepticon ground bridge.
*Earth. Happy Harbor. Mount Justice. 14:43 pm*
Everyone could do nothing but watch in utter horror as the Watchtower was destroyed in the blink of an eye. "No…" Barry breathed.
"It was wiped out in a few seconds..." Dinah had tears in her eyes.
"Monsters…" Clark was clenching his fists in anger.
"We have to take them down…" Conner was also clenching his fists.
"We'll have to give it our all." Lois brought up, her blue ring lighting up.
"And you'll have help." Roy suddenly said as he walked in. "You guys have room for one more?"
"Of course." Wally high-fived him with a smile.
"As well as us." Vykin said as he and the Forever People had arrived. "It is part of our mission to help protect Earth, and we will uphold that with utmost dignity."
Optimus Prime suddenly spoke up. "This may be our darkest hour, but this cannot and will not be the end. We will not fall to the darkness in this perpetual conflict. We all must do everything to protect this planet and it's people."
"If that's how we're doing it... Then let's go all out." Bishop said while holding and cocking an X-12 Scrapmaker.
"Now, you're speaking my language." Serafin smirked, his guns at the ready. Sphere shifted into her Supercycle mode. Dreamer merely rolled her eyes at Serafin's enthusiasm.
"Something the Decepticons' never seemed to understand: The least likely can be the most dangerous." Bumblebee grinned.
"Let's do it, for Earth, for Cybertron, for freedom!" Ironhide fist-pumped. Everyone agreed with him and cheered in their own ways. They were ready to fight.
Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Young Justice: Their War, Our World. Well, this is it: The first part of this story's finale. Project: Andromeda is finally powered up and energized. On a lighter note, Robin and Zatara have a talk regarding Robin being with his daughter. Windstrike also reassures Tula that they will save Atlantis. Back with Project: Andromeda, it annihilates the Watchtower with one blast. Spurned on by Optimus Prime's words, everyone rallies to fight for Earth and beyond.
As usual, if anyone has ideas for this story's finale as well as its planned sequel, please let me know in the comments/reviews, or personally PM me. The next part of Zero Hour will be an all-out brawl. As Cliffjumper said, all hands on deck. See you, then!
