Chapter 52 Old Enemies
Its been a week since Jinora went into Labor and gave birth to two new daughters. Kyoshi and Yangchen named after past Avatars.
Now Sean was relaxing in the living room watching news reports on the Legion with Chairman Organa answering questions to the press.
"When will the Legion military be disbanded?"
"Never. This war showed us even in times of peace we must never lower our guard. There were countless times the Sith have infiltrated the Republic without even the Jedi knowing it and Palpatine was at the height of his power before his death came from an ancient threat from Earth. While I plan to reduce the amount we have as time goes by it will never be disbanded." Organa said.
"At least he's not like Padme thinking it was a bad idea to have an army in the first place." Sean said.
"Excuse me?" Padme asked behind making him yell as he jumped up seeing her grin. "For your information I only thought it would deplete funds for the people at the time." Padme said.
"The fuck are you doing here?" Sean asked.
"Anakin and I are visiting Suyin since she's throwing a special celebration for the day this place was built." Padme said.
"Oh. I almost forgot about that." Sean said before yelling as she pulled his ear. "Ok I deserve that." Sean said annoyed making her grin. "This is why I'm glad you and I aren't together cause I don't think I could put up with your overly peace crap." Sean said making her scoff.
"And I don't like sharing." Padme said leaving as Anakin walked in.
"How do you put up with her?" Sean asked making him chuckle.
"We're a lot alike. Both of us head into danger no matter what." Anakin said.
"Yeah whatever." Sean said. "So how have things been since you took over?" Sean asked sitting down.
"Nothing much changed. The only thing I did change was Rex being my second in command since Forge went back to his home world to help rebuild." Anakin said.
"Hmm." Sean said.
"So whats the story about this Zaheer guy?" Anakin asked.
"Apparently he tried to kidnap me and Korra when we were kids when the Jedi first arrived. But thats not the only thing. In the other universes he caused great harm in several ways. Some unintentional and others intentional. And in each one Unalaq was the one who sent them." Sean said.
"But Unalaq is dead here." Anakin said.
"I know since he was executed when the whole Convergence thing was over. But here he didn't send them. They put him through lie detectors and found out he was innocent in that regard. So someone else sent them." Sean said.
"And now Boba is after you because you killed his father when the war began." Anakin said.
"All our actions have consequences. Good and bad." Sean said as he left.
Arriving in the bathroom he smiled seeing Korra giving the twins a bath.
"Hold still both of you." Korra laughed as Junior squirmed.
"Need a hand?" Sean asked taking his gloves off to wash Bastila who giggled.
"So how you handling all this stuff regarding Boba and Zaheer?" Korra asked as she washed Junior's hair.
"I'm all right. Honestly though I should have known something was gonna happen regarding Jango's son since there was no way in hell he was gonna just let that go." Sean said.
"Did you when you found out what happened to your mother?" Korra asked.
"Exactly my point." Sean said as he picked Bastila up in a towel drying her off before she yawned in his arms making him smile as he got her dressed before putting her in her bed before Korra did the same to Junior.
"It'll be fine." Korra said kissing him.
Later
Sean groaned as he was dressed in his usual attire with his mask off.
"I still hate these things." Sean said.
"Oh lighten up." Asami said holding her son close who cooed.
"I just can't stand these kind of events." Sean said.
"What do you mean I'm not allowed in!" Varrick yelled at the guard.
"No Sith allies allowed."
"I'm not A Sith Ally! Raiko forced me to help me against my will." Varrick said.
"Beat it."
Varrick pouted before leaving.
"Then again though theres always the perks of seeing him miserable." Sean said amused.
Outside however were several guards to keep the place secure.
However suddenly several of the Guards were shot with stun shots making them fall down out cold.
Walking out was Boba with a glare at he looked at the Estate.
"You're gonna pay for what you took from me Kruger." Boba said as the others came out.
"So how we gonna do this?" Ghazan asked.
"We're gonna force him out." Boba said.
"How?" Aurra asked.
"He has kids from what I understand. Find one and bring them..." Boba tried to say before the ground shook violently.
"What was that?" Zaheer asked before it got even worse.
Thats when Drago in his larger form approached before growling at them.
"Oh shit." P'li said as he roared loudly at them.
Sean heard Drago's roars before Nexo also started snarling before rushing out.
"What's gotten into them?" Anakin asked as Sean put his mask on before rushing out.
Boba yelled as he was trying to blast Drago but he just shrugged it all off and roared at him before Nexo rushed out as well and attacked Aurra who screamed.
Sean rushed out seeing all of them.
"Oh that just figures." Sean said as he pulled out his power sword as Boba saw him.
"YOU!" Boba yelled blasting at him but he just blocked it with ease.
"Really?" Sean asked raising an eyebrow before rushing in.
Aurra growled as she tried to get Nexo away from her but he just kept lashing at her.
"There they are!" Clone security troops rushed in and started firing at them.
Sean kicked Boba down hard making him groan before Zaheer airbended him away.
"So Zaheer. You're the bastard who tried to kidnap me and Korra 15 years ago." Sean said.
"And I would have succeeded if the Jedi hadn't been here. If only you took the same path as your father when he turned after discovering the Original Star forge 4,000 years ago after he ended the war against the Mandolorians before they joined him against the Old republic." Zaheer said.
"How did." Sean tried to say before getting airbended back as more security arrived.
"This isn't going well. We need to pull back. Go with Plan B." Aurra said.
"But..." Boba tried to say.
"We're out matched and out numbered. Theres nothing we can do." Zaheer said.
"All right fine!" Boba yelled as Ghazan made lava from the ground while Zaheer airbended the smoke around them giving them a chance to escape.
"Unbelievable." Sean said.
Later
"Boba got in using fake ID's. Thats how he got so close. We're scanning the entire planet for him right now." Suyin said.
Thats when Tarkin saw Sean looked concerned.
"Something you want to say?" Tarkin asked.
"Zaheer. He knew about my father's past. During the days of the old Republic when he turned against them because of the Sith that corrupted him and Malak." Sean said.
"He clearly must have caught up on information." Tarkin said.
"No thats not it. The way he said it made it sound like he knew about that for a long time now. And another thing. The way he was fighting was similar to the Sith fighting styles." Sean said.
"What are you trying to say?" Anakin asked.
"What if Zaheer was working with the Sith 15 years ago?" Sean asked.
"Thats not possible. They didn't show up until after Krennic revealed your identity to the Senate years ago" Tarkin said.
"What if they just knew it would cause problems and acted to set fear into peoples hearts and improve recruiting?" Sean asked.
"Say Zaheer was working with the Empire 15 years ago...Why didn't he say anything?" Suyin asked.
"Trained for silence. The Sith don't hold back when it comes to making sure they don't spill. Grashi did because Creed left her for dead and accepted my offer for a Pardon." Sean said.
"But if they knew you were here on Earth for so long...Why didn't they find you?" Korra asked.
"Maybe because the signal was lost on the Ebon Hawk...And also because I was in stasis so they couldn't find me." Sean said.
"That is a possibility." Tarkin said.
"And more importantly what if Zaheer was also a backup plan incase things didn't go as planned." Sean said.
"You think Zaheer knows something we don't?" Anakin asked.
"There are many old secrets in the galaxy that have remained hidden for a long time. If there is something they knew that could turn the tide in their favor they would want someone to carry out their will." Sean said." Sean said.
"And Zaheer would do it without hesitation." Tarkin said.
Meanwhile
"That didn't go as planned at all." Ming-Hua said.
"No kidding. Those monsters set us back." Aurra said.
"So we have to go with Plan B?" A merc asked.
"No choice. Call them up. I'll pay that price without question." Boba said.
Zaheer did nothing but smirk.
'Things are going according to plan.' Zaheer said.
