Kara swung her warhammer, feeling the resistance as metal connects with flesh and is quickly blown away. She had heard that dark elves had been eliminated once the current royal family had taken control of the elves, enclaves completely wiped out. But snow elves? She had never ventured this far north before, and she wasn't sure that she was ever going to do so again, as she gets attacked by a tiny gnome sized creature with pointed ears, and pale gray skin. Though was the black beady eyes and the teeth, the long razor sharp teeth that had ripped through her horse as if it were butter that had her swinging her war hammer to keep the damn demonic snow elves away.

"I told you that we went too far North," Santana snipes at Kara, they had been going nonstop for days until the weather had changed. Her parents had told her stories of what happened to beastkin who went to far north, how the great polar bear clans had been defeated. She had assumed that it was just a story that parents told to their wayward children to keep them from misbehaving, it had never once worked on her. But now that she had witnessed the little demonic elves stripping flesh off Kara's horse in seconds, she had realized that they were right and they needed to get out of here. "Come on Hiccup, faster," Santana urged Hiccup, who was moving quickly to avoid the fast little buggers.

"Now is not the time," Kara retorts, adjusting her grip on her war hammer and knocking a demonic elf off Hiccup's hind quarters. "A bit of help would be nice."

"I am not putting my paws anywhere near their mouths," Santana immediately says, she wasn't going to lose a hand because Kara couldn't deal with a few elven monsters.

Kara scowls and slams her fist against the top of one of their heads, to dislodge it from her armor. "Why did I bring you? You haven't done anything useful."

"Hiccup wasn't going to listen to you!"

"You know there are airships that—" Kara shifts on Hiccup's back, adjusting her warhammer in her hand and swinging it. The weapon slams into the body of one of the psychotic goblin elf things and gets sent flying into the pack of other elves causing them to swarm and she feels her stomach flip. "Of course, they're cannibals. The moment that we get Charlie and you finish with her, we're going to come back here and burn this place into the ground."

"We're literally rescuing my mate from danger and you think that after I'm done with her, I'm just going to let you put her in more danger?" Santana questions grabbing onto a branch overhead, which snaps as Hiccup continues to move, he's been tearing into the elves, eating them whenever he could, which was helping, but they still had a few latched on to Hiccup's hind quarters and legs trying to break through drake scale. They were currently failing but she didn't want to give them time to get them to figure out a way to hurt Hiccup.

"We'll be in airships, doing a ground offensive is suicide. And don't tell me about how your people need this place. It's mostly ice and trees, we can afford to let these fuckers die."

Santana rolled her eyes, "All because dwarves don't understand the delicate balance of nature, doesn't mean that you get to just burn everything you don't like. There are several beastkin that could use the space."

"We're burning it to the ground."

"There are a hundred other ways you can deal with this, using fire should be the last resort," Santana snapped, as Hiccup makes it through a clearing and she immediately holds on for dear life as he shakes. It's violent and the force is enough to send Kara flying as well as the few remaining elfs off his body. She looks up once Hiccup stops shaking and notices that a few of the elfs are dragging their injured bodies towards Kara who still looked winded. Santana doesn't hesitate to transform immediately, taking out one of the closer elves. Its blood is almost sickly sweet and she can understand why Hiccup was gorging himself on Elfs earlier but she spits it out and quickly begins to take out the rest of the stragglers.

"You couldn't have done that before?" Kara questions rolling over and dragging herself against one of the trees. They needed to get moving, she wasn't sure how fast or how quickly the little fuckers could travel. Even in feline form the look that Santana shoots her is absolutely acidic. "It would have helped."

Santana shifts back, her leg immediately giving out causing her to land on her ass. She had heard something crack while she had shifted, and it would probably mean more recovery time if she didn't get to her mate soon. The anxiety, and the lack of her mate was slowing everything down. They were missing the most important time for any newly mated couple. And as the days passed, she was beginning to be certain that they were running out of time. She had always wanted to find her mate, and the thought of losing her, there was tightness in her throat. "We need to keep moving."

"Well I'm out a horse, so we're going to need to—" Kara began, only for Hiccup to hurl chunks of dead elf. "You eat monsters but you can't handle some fucking elves?" Hiccup responded with a huge wet huff, and she could feel some dragon slime, and smoke hit her face. She needed to learn stealth and how to fly one of the bigger air-ships out.

~ O ~

The doors to the throne room were opened as Judy walked into it, her head held high as she took her seat beside her husband. It took everything that she had to remain calm, her youngest was still missing. It had been her greatest joy to see Charlie finally settling down, and with her mate and Kara missing, this had now entered international incident territory. As if this wasn't already an international incident, but the future queen of the dwarves, the beastkin, was anxious now that Santana had disappeared, at least she knew that Kara and Santana had the protection of Hiccup. Which was a terrifying thought on its own. "Do we know where she's being held?"

"No, I doubt they would have told her where she's being held," Russel says keeping his voice low, he certainly wouldn't tell a low level assassin all of his plans and as much as he loathed to admit it Cersei was a fearsome foe, and he probably should have paid more attention to Charlie and Kara's rants about the 'fucking knife-eared bastards'. Russell looks out at the gathered nobles and nods towards the guards, motioning to them to bring in their prisoner.

Judy inhaled sharply, she had noticed her around every now and again. But she had seen Quinn's sparrows out and about, she was certain that Quinn had at some point slept with this one as well. It had clouded her daughter's judgment and she was going to insist that Russell make it clear that Quinn was no longer to dip her pen in the well of her sparrows and dolls. It was clearly a security risk. As the woman is shoved onto her knees, she can't help but stand, clasping her hands together tightly in front of her body. "You stole one of my children from me. Tell me who you sold her too, and I will have mercy. I will only once, who has her?"

The pressure that Judy was exerting was suffocating, and no in the room was spared, her rage at her youngest being gone. Russell grits his teeth, "Judy—"

"I will not," Judy snapped at him, "Our daughter is missing and she has the key to where she is."

Russell raised a brow, the pressure was immense, and it was rare that Judy let it slip like this, he was used to this. He could at least grit his teeth and bear it, "She needs to be able to talk," he says gently. For most other people it would be difficult to breathe in this situation, talking was simply out of the question. Judy inhaled and the pressure receded just enough to take the edge off, and Russell let out a sigh of relief.

"You won't save her." Villanelle's words cause both the King and Queen to finally return their attention to her.

"Who has her?" Judy demanded asking the question once more. But when Villanelle just smiles at her, Judy knew that this woman was choosing to do things the more difficult way. "Take her to my mother, I no longer trust Ra's to get to the answers and my mother will rip through your memories. It will not be pleasant, and the chances of you coming out as the same person are slim to none. But I will get to the bottom of this by the end of the day."

Villanelle frowned, there was no point in pretending to be innocent, she simply wasn't. They had caught her red-handed, she had been toying with the beastkin when Nyssa had come across her, and her ribs still ached from the one-sided beat down that she'd been given. There really was no saving Charlie at this point, she didn't even know what they wanted with her, but she doubted that someone like Cersei would keep Charlie alive unless there were very good reasons to do so. Cersei hadn't made any demands of the kingdom, breaking every conventional rule of warfare. "Queen Cersei has her."

"Gather the generals," Russell said, even if Cersei didn't have her and this was some ploy, there was cause his daughter was missing. "I want to be ready to fly by first light tomorrow."
