Chapter 17: The Sixth Stop Wizard
After returning to their base, Dark Decade along with Shadow Moon and Dark Yuji were seen walking in the hallway together.
As they were walking, Dark Yuji had a frustrated look on his face.
"Dammit…After all that planning, Decade just had to up and ruin it." He mutters before they stop walking and Dark Decade turns to his servant.
"Don't beat yourself up about this, Ryuga." Dark Decade said before he placed a hand on Dark Yuji's shoulder. "This is also a miscalculation on my part. I should've done a better job of keeping taps on Decade."
Dark Yuji huffed as he wasn't convinced by that.
"Spare me your modesty. You were just hoping that this would happen." Dark Yuji said, and Dark Decade smirks while chuckling.
"I guess I can't deny that. But for now, why don't you get some rest? You've earned it." Dark Decade told him.
Dark Yuji clicks his teeth before he leaves.
"My lord, permission to speak freely?" Shadow Moon requested.
"Granted." Dark Decade answered.
"I don't want to question your judgment. But are you sure it's wise to let Decade go like this? So far, he had gained the powers of five Kamen Riders. It's only going to be a matter of time until he gains his full strength." Shadow Moon told him.
"Oh that…" Dark Decade said before he chuckles. "Don't worry your pretty little head about this. Even if he did, it won't stop the plan. Besides, it wouldn't be fun to fight him if he's not at his best. Nor will it give me satisfaction."
"Very well. If that is your wish, I won't question it anymore." Shadow Moon said before he bowed his head.
"Good." Dark Decade said before he walked forward. "I'm going to check on Duke. You check on how the others are doing."
"As you wish, my lord." Shadow Moon said.
Inside a large dark room, a hooded Dark Rider was typing on a keyboard to work on a machine's program interference and to check its systems.
"Duke."
The hooded Rider turns around and sees that Dark Decade has arrived as he walks to him.
"Oh, master, welcome back." He greeted the leader of the Dark Riders before he removed his hood.
He appeared to be in his 30s with black hair tied in a ponytail with a long fringe on the right side of his head with a white streak.
This is Sengoku Ryoma, Kamen Rider Duke.
"How is the project?" Dark Decade asked before he and Ryoma looked at a certain large object in the room.
It couldn't be seen due to the shadows and lack of light, it was large, it may be even bigger than a skyscraper.
"It's coming along smoothly. Soon it will be ready at any time, by your command of course." Ryoma told him, and Dark Decade smiles.
"Good. I knew I was right to bring you into the fold." Dark Decade said, and Ryoma bowed his head.
"You're too kind, master." Ryoma said before he raised his head and turned back to the large object. "I must say, this plan of yours is truly a stroke of genius. No matter the outcome, neither Decade or any Rider in general, won't be able to stop it. You're truly a man who's always a hundred moves ahead."
"I guess I won't deny that. But how is the boy?" Dark Decade asked.
"He's still in stasis but his power still continues to grow in remarkable progress. It's almost terrifying, if I was a normal person. But don't worry, he'll still be sedative long enough until the machine is ready." Ryoma told him.
"I never worry. But thank you. Continue your work, the machine must be ready until we reach the final stage." Dark Decade told him, and Ryoma bowed his head.
"Of course, master." Ryoma said before he went back to typing on his keyboard.
Dark Decade then turns to the large machine before he laughs and reaches out his hand.
"Soon…Very soon, everything will fall into place. And everything I desire will be mine!" Dark Decade said as he clenched his hand.
(Play Journey through the Decade by Gackt)
(Kamen Rider Decade, he has been given the power of a destroyer to destroy one.) (As the songs start to focus on Decade, who just transformed, standing in a white room filled with filming clips.)
(Miageru hoshi sorezore no rekishi ga kagayaite) (Yui covers Alex's eyes until she lets go. His eye zoomed in and was soon replaced with the camera, his camera, and later his DecaDriver which includes all 15 Heisei Riders including himself. His Machine Decader is shown parked in front of a pile of smoking rubble before, in the white room, Alex grabs one of the cubes and faces the camera.)
(Seiza no you sen de musubu shunkan hajimaru Legend) (The scene changes to a worn down warehouse with all Riders sitting but one at a time. Yui grabs a bottle and looks at it while Alex looks back. Ryu slumps back against his TryChaser 2000 as the silhouettes of the riders appear one by one. Setsuna throws the bottle down on the floor.)
(Oorora {aurora} yurameku jikuu koete. Tobikomu meisou suru Parallel world) (On one side the Dark Riders charge while on the other side the Riders of good do the same. The same bottle shatters as Alex looks as though he was about to collapse but not before his face changes into each of the Rider's helmets. Back at the warehouse all 15 riders lined up doing their signature poses and with Decade in the center but behind him was Yui.)
(On the road dare mo tabi no tonchu. Hontou no jibun jishin deau tame.) (All 15 Riders were in a circle and were fending off the Dark Riders as they were being surrounded by them. Alex is then shown on his bike getting his helmet on and Yui was riding as a passenger. Yui grabs on to him tightly before we see Decade showing off his fighting skills especially with the Attack Ride: Slash card. Soon back to the Rider, everyone was doing their best trying to watch each other's backs while against the Dark Riders.)
(Atarashii yoake e to tsuzuku michi ni kawaru no darou.) (Alex sits alone, exhausted and with tears rolling down his face until Yui was in front of him with his camera and offering the other to help him up. We soon see Ryu riding with Alex and Yui on their respective bikes. Back in the battle, Blade was having trouble with Glaive until Decade showed up and pushed Glaive away. Ryuga was about to use his strike Vent on Decade until Ryuki used his first which saved Decade.)
(Mokugekise yo Journey through the Decade.) (The Riders were helping each other trying to take down their respective foe. Soon Yui is seen with a smile in Decade's mind. But Decade focuses on the battle and helping his comrade's. Decade was soon on his bike driving out of an Aurora Curtain with pictures of the other 14 Riders in it and circled the logo.)
Alex then left the studio, and saw he was in Tengu City from the Date A Live series. That his clothes change into a suit.
Alex then checks his pockets and finds a badge before he brings it out and looks at it.
It appears in this world, he's a member of the National Security Bureau from Kamen Rider Wizard, but it appears that the Bureau in this world is a section of the Japanese government rather than being a part of the police.
"So I'm an agent of the government yet again." Alex said as he looked at the badge.
Then his friends had walked out of the studio to look at the city they were now in.
Ryu then spotted a nearby poster before he walked to it and read it.
"'Welcome to Tengu City'. So that's what this place is called?" Ryu said as Alex was taking pictures of the city.
"Seems like it." Alex said.
"Okay, so what's the next step?" Ryu asked.
"I guess for now, I need to play the role I was given." Alex answered before he turned to Yui. "Want to come along, Yui?"
"As much as I want to, but…" Yui said before she turned back to the studio, and Alex and Ryu nodded in understanding.
"Yeah. I guess you do have to look after Takamura-san, especially after his hangover." Alex said.
"That I do. You just do what you have to, I'm able to take care of him by myself, don't worry." Yui told him.
"Got it." Alex nodded before he walked to his bike and got on it.
"Okay. Guess I'll go with you." Ryu said as he was about to walk to his own bike, but Yui stopped him by grabbing onto his shirt.
"Not so fast. I need your help right now. We happened to be low on supplies, and since I have to look after my drunk uncle, I need you to get the stuff for me." Yui told him.
"But, I…" Ryu said before he turned to Alex, who just shrugged.
"Sorry, man. You heard the lady. Don't worry, I'll be fine, you just help her out." Alex said before he drove away.
Ryu nervously chuckles before he turns to Yui.
"Okay…What do you need?" Ryu asked, and Yui smiled to hear that.
"Oh, I have a lot of things I need right now." Yui told him, and Ryu once again chuckles as he sweat drops.
Alex had soon arrived at the National Security Bureau before he stopped in front of the building.
"Guess this is the place." Alex said before he took off his helmet and got off his bike, and then he took a picture of the Bureau.
After showing his badge to the guards, Alex entered the building and headed to the superintendent's office. He soon entered and saw Kizaki, from the Wizard series, was waiting for him as he was seated on his desk.
Kizaki was doing some paperwork before he noticed Alex had entered his office.
"Oh, you must be the new transfer." Kizaki said.
"Yes, I'm Takahashi Alex. It is a pleasure to meet you sir." Alex greeted him.
"There's no need to be so formal with me." Kizaki told him. "Anyway, I know this is sudden, but I have your first assignment ready."
"And that would be?" Alex asked.
They then heard a knock on the door.
"Perfect timing. You may enter." Kizaki said.
Then the door opened and a certain red-haired girl entered the room.
Alex recognizes her as Itsuka Kotori, one of the main female characters from the Date A Live series.
"Commander Itsuka, I'm glad you've arrived." Kizaki greeted her.
"You didn't give me much of a choice." Kotori said in annoyance before she turns to Alex. "So this is the guy who will be inspecting me and my crew?"
"Yes, along with that secret base of yours." Kizaki said, and Kotori narrowed her eyes at him. "I know you don't want this, but I need to assure that your group can be trusted, and that you won't pose a threat to this city later. I want to at least make sure that you can be trusted. I mean, we will be working together if the situation calls for it."
"Don't bet on it." Kotori said before she turned to Alex. "Come on, let's go."
Kotori leaves the room.
"Yes, ma'am." Alex said before he followed Kotori.
Both Alex and Kotori soon left the building before he spoke to her.
"So, we'll be going to this base of yours?" Alex asked, but he does have a good idea what this 'base' is.
"Really don't have much of a choice here. But first, there's something I need to do first." Kotori told him.
"And that would be?" Alex asked.
"None of your business." Kotori answered, and Alex couldn't help but chuckle seeing her tsundere attitude, and Kotori glared at him. "What's so funny?"
"Oh nothing." Alex told her as he stopped chuckling and Alex pointed his thumb at his bike. "Well, if you want, I can at least give you a ride."
Kotori thought about it before she sighed.
"Fine." Kotori said.
Both Alex and Kotori get on the Machine Decader, and drive away from the National Security Bureau with Kotori giving him directions on where she wants to go.
Unknown to the pair, is that Seth was spying on them as he had a smile on his face.
"Man, that guy is always a step ahead of me. But wherever he goes, there's bound to be treasure." Seth said before he followed them.
Alex and Kotori had soon arrived at the latter's destination which was an old abandoned building before they got off the bike.
Alex recognizes that building as the building where Kotori had secretly met with Shido's supposed biological sister, Takamiya Mana.
'I guess the time here must be where Shido was dealing with Kurumi. Which would only mean one thing.' Alex thought before he looked at Kotori who took off her helmet and Kotori noticed him staring at her.
"What? Is there something on my face?" Kotori asked.
"Nothing." Alex said.
"Anyway, you stay here. I'll be back." Kotori said before she headed inside.
"Yeah. Like I was going to do that." Alex said before he heads inside the building as well.
Alex sneakily moves in the building looking for Kotori before he hides behind a wall as he spotted her standing in front of another girl, and it was Takamiya Mana.
"And there they are." Alex said quietly before taking a picture of the two girls.
Then two begin to speak with each other, starting with Kotori as she reveals her affiliations with Ratatoskr.
"Ratatoskr. I never would have thought that you and Nii-sama were with the likes of them." Mana said as she threw Shido's communicator which Kotori used to contact her and told her where to meet up.
Kotori catches the communicator in her hand.
"You've done your homework. What do you want?" Kotori asked.
"Itsuka Shido." Mana answered, much to Kotori's surprise. "Even though he's capable of defending himself, sending Nii-sama against a dangerous Spirit was still unthinkable. As a sister, you've failed him. I'll take care of things from now on."
'Guess that confirms my suspicion of Shido being Wizard in this world.' Alex thought.
"Don't make me laugh. Why would I entrust Shido to a corrupt company like Machina Industries?" Kotori asked with a smile and hearing that shocked Mana.
"How do you know about them?!" Mana asked.
"Don't underestimate me. Apart of Ratatoskr, it's the only company that supplies Realizers to the world's military and police forces. You're an employee of theirs who's been appointed to the AST." Kotori said and Mana's eyes slightly widened to hear that.
Mana then glares at Kotori.
"I can't let you call it a corrupt company." Mana said as she was offended by Kotori calling DEM like that. "They gave me a home, and a reason to live when I had lost my memories. I can never repay them for that."
"Are you serious? Despite what they've done to you?" Kotori asked, a little shocked to hear that.
"What are you talking about?" Mana asks in confusion, and Alex frowns to hear that.
'Poor girl. If only she knew the truth.' Alex thought, even though he knew that Mana would eventually learn what DEM had done to her body, listening to this was still tough to watch.
Kotori was a little surprised by this.
"Don't tell me you don't know." Kotori said.
But then both girls' phones began to ring, which put their conversation on hold before the commander of Fraxinus brought it out and answered it.
"I'm here. What is it?" Kotori asked. "What?"
Alex had a good idea what that phone call was about.
Mana was on the phone as well as she got the same report from her superiors, as both girls lowered their phones they turned at each other before they left the building together.
When Kotori had arrived outside, she saw that Alex was leaning on his bike waiting for her.
"Hey, so I guess you were done there?" Alex asked.
"It's on pause right now. I hate to do this, but I need to leave you here." Kotori said before she was transported to the Fraxinus.
"Yeah, like I was going to stay here and do nothing." Alex said before he got on his bike and drove to the one location where Kotori might go next.
Alex soon arrived at Raizen High School as he stopped in front of the gate. When he took off his helmet, he saw a large barrier around the school.
"Guess I'm right on time." Alex said before he took a picture of the school.
Alex got off his bike and moved in front of the barrier. He took a deep breath to brace himself before he moved into the barrier…and he felt perfectly fine despite that the air was heavy around him.
"Alright. Looks like I'm immune to Kurumi's powers." Alex said, and it makes sense since he's not from this world he has temporal protection just like Tsukasa.
Alex then notices that someone was standing on the edge of the roof and sees it was Itsuka Shido, the main protagonist of the Date A Live series. He also saw that Shido was wearing Wizard's belt and wields the WizarSwordGun in his hand as he aims it at his head.
"And there he is." Alex said as he took a picture of Shido.
Shido then lets himself fall off the building and that's when Alex had spotted Kurumi coming to his rescue as she grabs onto him and brings him back to the roof while Alex continues to take pictures of them.
"Guess I better head to the roof." Alex said before he moved into the building.
Alex was running up the stairs of the school and was now running up the stairs that leads to the roof before he stops as he felt the building trembling from an explosion.
"That explosion…Has to be one thing." Alex said before he continued to run up the stairs.
Alex had soon arrived at the roof of the school before he quickly hid behind a wall, and that's when he saw Shido facing both Kurumi and Kamen Rider Sorcerer as they stood side-by-side.
"And there they both are. Kurumi and Sorcerer." Alex said before he took a picture of them.
"You again...Wait, so you two have been working together this whole time?" Shido asked as he stood up.
"Well not all the time, but yes all the same. For now, our interests align with each other." Kurumi told him.
"And that is for you to fall in despair and die." Sorcerer told him.
Shido gritted his teeth before he placed his Driver On Ring on his belt.
[DRIVER ON, PLEASE]
Shido's belt changes into its Driver mode as he flips on the switches.
[SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN]
Shido then puts his Flame Dragon Ring on and pushes its goggles down.
"Fine, I didn't want it to come to this. But if you're going to endanger my school and my friends, then you'll leave me no choice. Henshin!" Shido said as he placed the Ring on his Driver.
[FLAME, DRAGON: Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou]
Shido transformed into Wizard in his Flame Dragon Style.
"Nice!" Alex said before he took a picture of Wizard.
"Alright then, let us get down to business." Kurumi said as she brought out her guns, and Sorcerer placed his Connect Ring on his Driver.
[CONNECT, NOW]
Sorcerer brings out his Halberd.
"Please, allow me to make the first move!" Sorcerer said as he charged at Wizard.
Wizard changes to his gun's sword mode as he charges at Sorcerer and the two Rider clashed their weapons against each other a few times before Sorcerer slashed at his legs and Wizard dodges it by quickly lifting his leg up and blocked weapon with his sword before he pushed it back and slashed at Sorcerer, and the gold mage dodges his slashed by spinning backwards and then stabs at Wizard, and Wizard dodges it by flipping backwards.
Wizard then saw Kurumi aiming her guns at him before she fired, and Wizard deflected her shots with his sword. Wizard then saw that Sorcerer had placed his Common Ring on his Driver.
[TORNADO, NOW]
Sorcerer then created and sent a multi-colored cyclone at Wizard, which entraps him as he was flying and spinning in the air.
Wizard soon changes to his Hurricane Dragon Ring as he puts it on and places it on his Driver.
[HURRICANE, DRAGON: Byu-Byu, Byu-Byu-Byu-Byu]
Wizard soon changes to his Hurricane Dragon style and soon spins around at high speed which creates a green hurricane around his body which soon cancels out Sorcerer's cyclone as it breaks apart.
As Wizard was now freed, he soon held his sword in a reverse grip and flew at Sorcerer to attack him, and the two Riders clashed their weapons a few times before Sorcerer placed his Ring on his Driver.
[BLAST, NOW]
Sorcerer fires an explosion in front of Wizard which sends him flying backwards before he manages to land on his feet.
Wizard manages to stand back up, but then feels a gun pressed behind his head and knows that it was Kurumi as she stands behind him aiming her rifle at his head.
Alex still continues to take pictures of the three of them fighting against each other.
"I wonder if I should make my move now." Alex said.
"You truly are amazing, Shido-san, but I think it's about time to e-" Kurumi said before someone cut her hand off, which forced Kurumi to jump away from Wizard.
Alex and Wizard turned and saw that Kurumi's attacker was Mana as she landed next to the magic-theme Rider and faced Kurumi.
Alex took a picture of Mana wearing her CR-Unit.
"Mana?" Wizard said that he was a little surprised that she's here.
"Yes." Mana said as she turned to him. "It seems I've yet again come in the nick of time."
Then both siblings turn to Kurumi as she chuckles at them.
"Impressive, as always. You were able to cut through my Astral Dress with such ease." Kurumi said as she showed off her now severed hand, before she leaned forward. "However...I can't have all the killing for myself."
Kurumi then raised her other hand up in the air and shouted…
"Come to me, Zafkiel!" Black lighting appeared behind Kurumi as it soon took the form of a golden clock with black roman numerals on it.
"And there it is. The Emperor of Time itself." Alex said as he took a picture of Zafkiel.
Both Wizard and Mana were surprised to see Kurumi's Angel before she brought out her pistol and spoke.
"Dalet."
The hands on the clock in her eye began to move, and with that red and black energy appeared out of the 'IV' symbol as it entered Kurumi's pistol and aimed it under her chin to shoot herself with energy.
Then suddenly her cut off hand moves and flies back to Kurumi as it attaches itself back onto her severed arm and rapidly heals itself like it was never cut off to begin with.
Wizard was surprised to see that while Mana remained calm. Alex was taking pictures of Kurumi using her powers.
"An impressive restorative ability." Mana said and Kurumi chuckled.
"Oh, but that isn't it at all. I simply turned back time." Kurumi said before she now arms herself with her rifle to face Mana. "Come on, let us begin!"
"That's fine by me. I'll do as I always do and kill you." Mana said as she got ready to fight her.
"Mana…" Wizard said in worry for his sister.
Alex was also worried about her as well as he knows what's going to come next.
Kurumi chuckles in a sinister tone.
"Do you still not comprehend?" Kurumi asked as her right eye lit up. "Truly killing me is something you will never be able to do!"
"I'll cut off your voice before I cut you apart!" Mana told her.
"Aleph!" Kurumi said as she pointed her pistol at the 'I' symbol on Zafkiel as energy channels into it and Kurumi soon shoots herself as she suddenly vanishes.
Mana was surprised before she saw Kurumi appearing beside her as the Spirit fired her rifle at the DEM Wizard which sent her flying.
"Mana!" Wizard said.
"You should worry more about yourself, Wizard!" Wizard looks and saw Sorcerer jumping at him as he swings his Halberd at him, and Wizard dodges his attack before he and Sorcerer clashed their weapons a few times before their next clashed brought their weapons in a bladed lock and Sorcerer took this chance to pushed Wizard forward as they moved away from both Mana and Kurumi.
Mana quickly recovers as she flies to Kurumi to attack her, but Kurumi then teleports behind her and kicks at her.
"Zayin." Kurumi said as she pointed her pistol at the 'VII' symbol as energy channels into it and fired at Mana with it.
"Such a weak-" Mana said before Kurumi's bullet hit her body, which freezed Mana in a dark aura sphere.
Wizard soon saw this as he parried two of Sorcerer's slashes and slashed on his Halberd and brought it to the ground.
"Mana!" Wizard said in worry.
Kurumi then used this chance to fire her rifle at the frozen Mana four times, on her leg, stomach, shoulder, and chest.
Kurumi gently lands on her feet while Mana falls to the ground as her wounds are bleeding out.
"Mana, no!" Wizard said as he was about to run and help her, but Sorcerer got in his way as he brought his Halberd in front of him and slashed at Wizard, which forced him to flip backwards.
"I don't think so, Wizard. Your fight is with me now." Sorcerer said as he stood in front of him.
"Damn it...I don't have time to deal with you!" Wizard said as he changed to his Land Dragon Ring and placed it on his Driver.
[LAND, DRAGON: Dan Den Don Zu Dogon, Dan Den Dogon]
Wizard changes into his Land Dragon Style as he now holds his sword in a normal grip.
Alex took a picture of Wizard's Land Dragon Style before the latter charges at Sorcerer and the two Riders clash their weapons against each other.
Wizard soon puts on his Special Ring and resets his Driver and scans the Ring on it.
[CHOINE, SPECIAL: SAIKO]
Wizard's Drago Claws appeared on his hands and soon channeled energy around them as he sent energy slashes at Sorcerer, but the gold mage placed his Common Ring on his Driver.
[REFLECT, NOW]
Sorcerer created a magic shield in front of him as it absorbed Wizard's attack, which surprised him before the golden Kamen Rider sent Wizard's attack back at him.
Wizard attempts to block the redirected attack with his Claws but is sent rolling on the ground as his Claws were dismissed.
Wizard slowly manages to stand on his knee and foot.
"Shido!"
Alex looked and saw that two girls had arrived and saw that they were Yatogami Tohka and Tobiichi Origami.
"And here they are." Alex said as he took a picture of Tohka and Origami.
"You're here…" Wizard said.
"My, my. Now we're all here." Kurumi said.
"Now this is a turn of events." Sorcerer said as he rested his Halberd on his shoulder.
"Kurumi, you think you can run in the middle of a fight?" Tohka asked as she and Origami glared at her.
"I won't let you get away this time!" Origami said before she and Tohka were surprised as they turned to each other.
"My, this is oh so scary." Kurumi said while acting scared. "There are so many of you attacking a single frail girl, like me." She said as Wizard was now standing his feet and Tohka and Origami were glaring at her, and Mana managed to stand up despite her wounds. "But I also mean business today. Isn't that right, my other selves?"
"And she comes." Alex said.
Everyone then heard laughter as Kurumi's shadow began to grow in size and several white arms appeared out of it. Everyone gasped in shock as they saw the arms had bodies as they stood around Kurumi and everyone else on the roof, and soon took the form of Kurumi herself as they laughed.
"Even in person this is still creepy as hell." Alex said before he took a picture of Kurumi's clones.
"What the heck is this?" Wizard asked.
"They all are me. My personal history. They are versions of me from a different time axis." Kurumi explained and Wizard then realized something as he remembered the times Kurumi had died and was able to miraculously revive herself.
"Wait, so all those times you were killed, those were only copies of yourself, weren't they?" Wizard said.
"Correct, as expected Shido-san. I guess you can call it a pseudo-immortality compared to that Phoenix fellow. But now you see why you could never truly kill me?" Kurumi asked, before her clones began to approach Tohka and Origami as they surrounded them.
"I have no idea what's going on!" Tohka said.
"Now, let us end this." Kurumi said with a smile.
One clone grabbed onto Tohka with her arm around her neck and under her armpit as others aimed their guns at the Spirit known as Princess.
Others aimed their guns at Origami as she glared at them before one of the clones grabbed onto her.
One clone had her rifle on Mana's neck to tightly hold her.
"Everyone!" Wizard said in worry.
"Oh Wizard!"
Wizard turns back to Sorcerer as he resets his Driver and places his Common Ring on it.
[LIGHTNING, NOW]
Wizard looks up and saw Sorcerer's magic circle appearing above him and soon lighting strikes down on him as his cries out in pain, and after that Wizard falls to his hands and knees and then the Kurumi clones grab hold of his arms, and another had her arm around his neck as they raised his head up to face both Kurumi and Sorcerer.
"Now that's definitely not good." Alex said.
Now with that taken care of. I think it's about time we begin our show, wouldn't you agree?" Sorcerer asked his Spirit ally.
"Of course." Kurumi nodded before she turned back to Wizard. "And to make sure you never try to sway me again; I'll have to crave despair into your heart. Which is something I'm truly looking forward to."
"What do you mean by that?" Wizard asked, and Kurumi leaned in front of his face.
"Well, Shido-san, I know a great deal about the power you possess. On how you manage to contain a monster inside of you without giving up on hope, despite the fact you've seen over hundreds of people dying all around you." Kurumi said as she closely brought her face close to him to show her evil and twisted smile. "But I wonder how you will react when it happens all over again."
Kurumi raised her hand up and the spacequake alarm began to sound off.
"No, you wouldn't!" Wizard said as he tried to break free from the clones' hold on him.
Kurumi chuckles.
"This time, many are certain to die. Including your friends and the students!" Kurumi said.
"Stop it!" Wizard shouted as he still struggled to break free. Alex soon brings out his Driver as he was ready to move in and stop this.
Sorcerer laughs at Wizard's anguish.
"This is it! This is what I was looking for! To see you wallow in despair and anguish as you die, knowing that your friends will die along with you! Now my friend, do the honor!" Sorcerer told Kurumi.
"With pleasure!" Kurumi said as she laughed maniacally and soon clenched her hand.
"Oh no!" Alex said as he put on his Driver, but it was too late to transform and stop Kurumi as she swung her hand down.
Alex and Wizard looked up as they both saw a pacequake forming above the school.
Alex braces himself as the spacequake then begins to extend and is about to hit Raizen, but then a wave of energy appears as it cancels out the quake as it blows it away like it was made out of air.
Seeing that surprised Wizard, Kurumi, and Sorcerer while Alex sighed in relief.
"She made it…" Alex mutters.
"What the...What happened?!" Sorcerer asked.
"I'm not sure. What in the world was that?" Kurumi said.
"Didn't you know? If you hit a spacequake at the moment it starts with a tremor of a similar scale, they'll cancel each other out."
Alex, Wizard, and the others looked up and saw another Spirit flying above them.
The Spirit had long red hair and was wearing a white kimono and had a pair of horns sticking out from her ribbons. The ribbons also gain gold flower patterns on them. The Spirit also had flames and amber around her body, but what really got Wizard's attention was her face.
"Kotori…?" Wizard mutters as he is stunned by her appearance.
"I swear that girl…Making an entrance like that." Alex chuckles before he takes a picture of Kotori wearing her Astral Dress.
"I'll have this back for a while, Shido." Kotori told her brother before she spun around as the flames danced around her.
"Scorch, Camael!" Kotori shouted as the flames were blown away.
Then a giant red and black halberd appeared beside her as Kotori grabbed hold of it and wielded the halberd with both hands as the blades were covered with flames.
Alex whistles to see that weapon before he takes a picture of it.
"Now, let's start our date." Kotori said with a smile.
Wizard, Kurumi, and Sorcerer were still stunned by Kotori's appearance.
"Kotori...But how…?" Wizard mutters in shock.
"Now this was completely unexpected." Sorcerer said, and Kurumi smiled at Kotori.
"Would you please stop interfering?" Kurumi asked before she brought out Zafkiel as she was ready to fight her. "I was just getting to the good part!"
"You've gone a little overboard. Now kneel. I've come to repay you." Kotori told her as she slowly landed on the roof, and Kurumi laughed at her.
"Well, this is fascinating. You're going to punish me? You think you can?" Kurumi asked in a mocking tone.

"Yes. If you don't want a spanking, then dispel your clones and your Angel." Kotori told her with a confident smile and tone. Which made Kurumi to chuckle once again.
"You seem to have utmost confidence in your power. But such assumptions will lead to death. My Zafkiel-" Kurumi said before Kotori interrupted her.
"Stop bragging and come at me, you black swine!" Kotori said as she narrowed her eyes at the Spirit known as Nightmare.
"Very well then!" Kurumi said as she sent her clones to Kotori to attack her.
Kotori simply smiles as she readies her weapon and Angel.
"Camael!" Kotori shouted as flames appeared around the blade of her Angel.
"It's useless!" Kurumi stated confidentially as she readied her guns.
Then Kotori swings her halberd to send a wave of flames at the clones which turned them into nothing but ashes as they were engulfed by her flames.
"Heesh…I hate to be them right now." Alex said.
Kotori then slams Camael on the ground which sends a wave of flames at Kurumi and Sorcerer which forced the two to jump away to dodge it, but Kotori's true target wasn't them but the clones that were holding Wizard and the others hostage as they were consumed by her flames, freeing Wizard, Mana, Tohka, and Origami as the girls fall to the ground.
Wizard managed to stand up as he rubbed his wrist before he saw Kotori had jumped to him.
"Kotori...What's going on, and how are you a…" Wizard said before Kotori turned to her brother.
"Leave Kurumi to me. But you better be careful Shido, because this time you'd die instantly." Kotori told him.
"Eh?" Wizard said.
They then heard Kurumi laughing as they turned to her as she and Kotori faced each other.
"Alright, I'll admit that was indeed impressive. But…" Kurumi said as she pointed her guns at Zafkiel's numbers. "I'm sure you know that this is far from over!"
Soon Kurumi's Aleph bullet loads into her pistol and shoots herself with it.
They soon saw Kurumi teleporting above the adoptive siblings as she kicks at them which they both blocked but Kurumi kicks Wizard again which sends him rolling on the ground and Kurumi attacks Kotori by swinging her guns at her which pushes Kotori back as she parries her attacks.
"Kotori!" Wizard said as he stood up back and was about to help her but…
"Don't forget about me, Wizard!" Wizard looks and saw Sorcerer jumping at him as he swings his Halberd at him, which Wizard dodges by side stepping before Sorcerer attacks him again several times as Wizard kept on dodging his attacks before he blocks Sorcerer's next slashed by using his forearms as Sorcerer's weapons stops on his shoulder.
"Damn it! I don't have time to waste on you!" Wizard said as he placed his Connect Ring on his Driver.
[CONNECT, PLEASE]
Wizard soon pulled his sword out as he soon slashed at Sorcerer several times which forced the golden mage to stumble back as Wizard landed a reverse spin kick on Sorcerer on the head which forced him to spin around as he stumbled some more.
"Nice one, Shido." Alex said.
Sorcerer soon stops himself as he glares at Wizard.
"Damn you…" Sorcerer said.
Wizard soon changes to his Water Dragon Ring as he resets his Driver and places the Ring on it.
[WATER, DRAGON: Jabajaba Bashān, Zabun Zabun]
Wizard transforms into his Water Dragon Style as he waved his arms around and pointed his sword at Sorcerer, and Alex took a picture of him in that pose.
"Nice pose there." Alex commented to him.
Then the two magic theme Riders charged at each other and clashed their weapons several times before their next clash brought their weapons in a bladed lock before they pushed each other back.
Both Wizard and Sorcerer were still on even ground before both Riders pushed each other back as they spinned around.
As he was spinning, Wizard soon changed to his Blizzard Ring as he stopped and reset his Driver and placed the Ring on it.
[CHOINE, BLIZZARD: SAIKO]
Wizard brought forth a magic circle as it unleashed a blizzard as it flew at Sorcerer as he placed his Common Ring on his Driver.
[HEAT, NOW]
Sorcerer soon emits a scorching fire around his body which was strong enough to cancel out Wizard's spell as the circle breaks apart and the wave of his spell hits on Wizard too as he was sent flying and crashed onto the railing on the roof.
Wizard was about to stand back up, but Sorcerer soon grabbed hold of his neck to hold him down and while Wizard grabbed hold of his arm to remove his hand but his hold was too strong.
"That's not good." Alex said in some worry.
"This isn't what I originally had in mind. But I suppose I have to be flexible about this." Sorcerer stated.
"What? What do you mean by that?" Wizard asked.
"Just look." Sorcerer said as he turned to Kurumi and Kotori. Alex and Wizard turned to them as well as the two Spirits continued to fight.
"Splendid! Absolutely splendid!" Kurumi said in excitement as she continued to push Kotori back as she parried her attacks. "I'd expect no less from the manifestation of an Angel. My heart is palpitating."
"Boy…I almost feel sorry about Kurumi. She has no idea what's in store for her." Alex said.
"You're getting on my nerves. If you're so refined, how about keeping your composure?" Kotori asked as she swung her halberd at Kurumi who dodged it by jumping away from her.
Kurumi soon lands on her feet as she smiles at Kotori.
"Well then, I suppose I will comply with your request and do this elegantly. Zafkiel! Zayin!" Kurumi calls out as Zafkiel appears behind her and the Seventh Bullet loads into her pistol and soon fires the Bullet at Kotori and she was about to deflect them with her Camael.
"Stop, Kotori! Those bullets-!" Wizard calls out but Sorcerer tightens his hold on his neck to stop.
Kotori swings her Angel at the bullets to destroy them but the moment they made contact she was now frozen in time.
Alex took a picture of that moment.
"No matter how strong one may be, that is only the case as long as time is allowed to proceed." Kurumi said as several of her clones appeared around the frozen Kotori and soon fired their guns all around her, much to Wizard's horror as his eyes widened as blood flew out of her wounds as they froze in time.
The real Kurumi simply walks in front of the frozen Kotori and places her pistol in front of her forehead.
"Well then, I bid you adieu." Kurumi said as she pulled the trigger and fired a bullet straight through Kotori's head.
"Kotori!" Wizard shouted in horror as his sister fell to the ground, and Sorcerer laughed to hear him scream like that.
Alex glares at both Kurumi and Sorcerer after he sees that.
"Damn…This is still tough to watch." Alex said.
"Hahaha! How does it feel, Wizard? To watch as a loved one of yours had died right in front of your eyes!" Sorcerer shouted which made Wizard glare at him.
"Kisama…" Wizard growled.
Kurumi chuckles in victory as she turns back to Wizard.
"It's all over now. Just when I thought I had found a worthy adversary, I'm left disappointed. So disappointed! Now it's your turn, Shido-san." Kurumi stated.
Wizard wondered what to do before he noticed something about Kotori's wound, he saw that they were healing by colorful flames and even the hole in her forehead was healing as well.
Alex frowns to see that as he knows what's going to come next after that.
"Allow me…" Kurumi said before she heard the flames as she and Sorcerer turned back to Kotori as they saw that her wounds were healing.
"What on earth?" Sorcerer said in shock.
"Man, you really overdid it." Kotori said as she stood back up as she showed Kurumi a confident smile.
"I'd prefer it if you would just cower in fear and lose your determination, but…" Kotori said and Kurumi huffs.
"Please, don't make me laugh!" Kurumi said as she and her clones fired at Kotori and she blocked their gunfire with her flames.
"Guess this is my cue to step in." Alex said before he put on his Driver and soon brought out his Card. "Henshin!"
Alex soon inserts the Card into his Driver.
[KAMEN RIDE: DECADE]
Alex transforms into Decade and pulls out his Ride Booker in Gun Mode.
Kotori then swings her Halberd at Kurumi and her clones which sends a wave of flames at them, which they manage to avoid in time before they continue to fire at Kotori and she continues to block them before she charges at Kurumi and her clones to attack them.
Decade soon walks out his hiding spot and approaches Sorcerer.
"Damn it…" Sorcerer growls in frustration as everything is falling apart for him. "What else can go wrong at this point?!"
Decade inserts his Blast Card into his Driver.
[ATTACK RIDE: BLAST]
Decade fires at Sorcerer using enhanced energy shots, forcing the golden Rider to let go and move away from Wizard as he stumbles back before his shooter stops firing
"So is this a private party, or can anyone join at this point?" Decade asked before he stops walking as both Wizard and Sorcerer turns to him.
"Another Rider?" Wizard said in shock.
"Decade? So you're here." Sorcerer said as he glared at the Rider.
"Decade?" Wizard said as he looked at Decade as he walked to him and offered his hand to him.
"Need a hand, Wizard?" Decade asked, and Wizard chuckled before he accepted his hand as Decade helped him back up.
"Thanks." Wizard said before he and Decade turned back at Sorcerer.
Sorcerer growls before he charges at the two Riders and attacks them with his Halberd and both Decade and Wizard dodge his attack. Decade then fired his gun at which forced the golden Rider to stumble back, before he saw Wizard jumping at him and slashes on his chest two times and lands a stab on him which sends Sorcerer to skid back.
As Sorcerer stops skidding he soon sees Decade charging at him as he inserts a Card into his Driver.
[ATTACK RIDE: SLASH]
Decade changes his Booker into its Sword Mode as the blade was covered in energy as he slashed on Sorcerer three times with the third one being an upper slashed which sends Sorcerer rolling on the ground. Sorcerer soon stood on his knee and foot, as Decade and Wizard were now standing beside each other before they charged at him to attack once again.
Kurumi saw that Sorcerer was having trouble against the two Riders, she grits her teeth before she sends her clones to tackle Kotori all around her and above her but…
"Burn, Camael!" Kotori shouted as she sent the clones flying with an explosion of flames.
Kurumi stood her ground against the flames as her clones were sent flying, but ended up wounded and her Astral Dress was damaged as well.
"What in the world are you?!" Kurumi said before Zafkiel appeared behind and soon pointed her guns at two symbols. "Zafkiel! Dalet!"
The Dalet Bullet loads into her guns, and Kurumi fires her pistol at herself to heal her wounds and repair her Dress. But despite her wounds healing Kurumi lowered her arms in fatigue.
"Resting your arms already? I was hoping you'd show a little more effort." Kotori said in a mocking tone which made Kurumi to glare at her.
"I'll make you regret those words!" Kurumi exclaimed. "Zafkiel!"
Kotori clicks her tongue before she smiles and readis her Halberd to battle Kurumi again.
"Not a chance!" Kotori said before she felt a powerful headache which forced her to lower Camael and placed a hand on her head. "Wh-What the…"
As Wizard blocks an attack from Sorcerer's Halberd, Decade uses that chance to slashed on Sorcerer's chest and the two Riders land a double kick on the golden Rider as he stumbles back, and Wizard soon notices Kotori's headache.
"Kotori?" Wizard said as he wondered what was wrong.
Decade lands a kick on Sorcerer's chest forcing to stumble back before he turns to Kotori.
'And here it comes.' Decade thought.
Kurumi laughed when she saw it too.
"Looks like it's the end for you!" Kurumi said as she aimed her gun at Kotori.
Wizard was worried to see that, and Sorcerer noticed that his guard was down.
"Now's my chance!" Sorcerer said as he charges at Wizard to attack him with his Halberd.
"Not so fast!" Decade said as he moves in front of Sorcerer and parries his attack with his sword.
Then both Decade and Sorcerer clashed their weapons a few times before Decade blocked Sorcerer's next attack before Wizard noticed as he turned to them.
"Go! Help your sister! I'll handle this!" Decade told him.
"Thanks." Wizard said as he ran to Kotori, and Decade pushed Sorcerer back. "Kotori! Are you alright?"
Sorcerer glares at Decade.
"Damn you, Decade! Why do you insist on getting in my way?!" Sorcerer exclaimed.
"Because it's what I do!" Decade said before pushed Sorcerer back and they soon clashed their weapons several times.
Kotori raised her head as her eyes were glowing.
"Camael…Megiddo!" Kotori shouted as she raised her Angel up as her flames changed into a purple color.
Then the blades on Camael disappeared before it changed into the form of a large cannon as Kotori's flames began to channel into it.
Seeing this frightens Kurumi before she calls out to her clones.
"My others!" Kurumi's clones begin to gather in front of her to protect her.
"Reduce them to ashes, Camael!" Kotori ordered as she aimed her cannon at Kurumi and her clones and fired a beam of flames which also unleashed a shockwave that forced Wizard to stop running as he stood his ground, and Decade and Sorcerer stopped fighting as they stood against the shockwave as well.
When Kotori's attack hit the clones, it had completely obliterated them, and left a large gaping hole on Zafkiel and the ground of Kotori's line of fire was burned as well, and Kurumi fell to her knees and lowered her head.
"No way…" Wizard said as he was stunned by his sister's power, even Decade and Sorcerer was stunned by this as well.
"Man, that girl has fire power. Literally." Decade said.
"Now this will definitely pose a problem." Sorcerer said before he blocks a slashed from Decade.
"You didn't forget about me, did you?" Decade asked.
"Oh, don't worry, I didn't!" Sorcerer said as he pushed Decade back as the two continued to battle.
Then Decade and Sorcerer entered a bladed lock with their weapons, and that's when the golden Rider scans his Common Ring on his Driver.
[BLAST, NOW]
Sorcerer pushed Decade's sword back and created an explosion in front of him which sent Decade rolling on the ground.
As Decade stood back up, Sorcerer resets his Driver.
[LUPACCHI MAGIC, TOUCH TO GO]
"It's time that we finished this, Decade." Sorcerer said as he prepared his Common Ring.
"Took the words right out of my mouth." Decade said before he opened his Booker and pulled out his Ryuki Card.
Decade then inserted the Ryuki Card into his Driver.
[KAMEN RIDE: RYUKI]
Decade transforms into Kamen Rider Ryuki.
D-Ryuki soon brings out an Attack Ride Card and inserts it into his Driver.
[ATTACK RIDE: STRIKE VENT]
The Dragclaw soon appeared as it flew into D-Ryuki's hand to arm himself with it.
"Please…Like that's going to change anything." Sorcerer said before he scans his Ring on his Driver.
[YES, VANISH STRIKE: UNDERSTAND?!]
Sorcerer created a large sphere of magic energy in his hand, and D-Ryuki assumed his stance and ready his Dragclaw as flames appeared in its mouth.
Then both D-Ryuki and Sorcerer fired their respective attacks which clashed against each other before creating an explosion between both Riders.
When the explosion had died down, D-Ryuki saw that Sorcerer was now gone before he looked around for him.
"Damn, he got away." D-Ryuki said.
"Onii-chan, get out of the way!" Kotori shouted, and D-Ryuki turned to her as Kotori was about to fire at both Shido and Kurumi and it was too late for her to stop.
"Oh no!" D-Ryuki said as he ran to them.
Then Kotori's Angel soon fired a beam of flames and a massive explosion appeared on the roof, and the next thing that D-Ryuki saw was darkness…
There was a large house, and there were two kids playing on the courtyard in front of it.
They were a boy and a girl, with the girl being a few years younger than the boy. They were playing tag with the boy chasing the girl as she was running away from them.
As they were running the two of them were laughing with bright smiles on their faces.
Then the two of them were seated on the ground that was on a hill which had a good view of a small town.
The boy and the girl turn to each other with the girl smiling at the boy.
"Onii-sama." The girl said…
An unconscious D-Ryuki woke up after hearing those words.
"Finally awake I see. I was starting to wonder if you've died."
D-Ryuki saw Seth was kneeling beside before he sat up.
"Seth? What are you doing here?" D-Ryuki asked.
"Would you believe me if I said I was here to help?" Seth asked.
D-Ryuki gave him a narrow look before he stood up.
"Like I can believe that." Alex said before he changed back into his civilian form.
"Worth a shot." Seth said before he stood up.
But that's when Alex realizes something.
"Oh, right! Shido and the others!" Alex said before he turned to them.
Alex saw that Shido along with Tohka, Origami, Mana, and Kotori were now unconscious and lying on the ground with Kotori now out of her Astral Dress.
Alex moved to Shido to check on him and placed two fingers on his neck and felt that he was still breathing. Alex sighed in relief.
"Still alive." Alex said before Seth moved to them.
"I check the others too. They're unconscious but alive. Though I can't say that girl will get up anytime soon." Seth said as he turned to the wounded Mana.
"Well, just knowing that no one had died is more than enough for me." Alex said before he stood up, he then noticed that Kurumi was nowhere to be seen. "Guess Kurumi got away."
"Seems like it. Think she'll come back though?" Seth asked, and Alex shook his head.
"No, I don't think we'll have to worry about her now." Alex said, and Seth shrugged to hear that.
"If you say so." Seth said before he notices something on the ground. "But we have to leave now."
Alex then turned to the ground and several military vehicles had arrived, no doubt to pick up both Mana and Origami.
"Yeah. Best to not draw too much attention." Alex said before he notices that Shido, Tohka, and Kurumi were being transported away, no doubt to the Fraxinus.
Both Alex and Seth then left the school while avoiding the military vehicles and the soldiers who got out of them.
After parting ways with Seth, Alex had soon returned to the studio where his friends were waiting for him.
Ken was lying on the couch with his hand on his face as he was slowly recovering from his hangover and felt a powerful headache.
"Ah…My head is pounding…Knew I should've stopped after having that second bottle…" Ken mutters.
Yui then walks to her uncle carrying a tray of tea and sour umeboshi plums for him.
"Yeah, like that was going to stop you from spending time with a beautiful woman." Yui said before she placed the tray on the table. "Here. Some tea along with some umeboshi."
"Thanks, Yui…" Ken mutters before he sat up and ate one of the sour plums, and soon made a sour face due to the taste of it.
Yui then walks to her friends who were seated on the kitchen table to look at the pictures Alex had taken while he was out.
"Man…Just when you think you've seen everything, they're still many surprises in the world, or in any world." Ryu said as he looked at the pictures of Kurumi and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses and using their Angels.
"Agreed." Alex said as he looked at a picture of Wizard.
Yui then picks up a picture of Kotori's arrival.
"And you said this girl isn't able to control her powers?" Yui asked.
"Yeah, from what I've just seen." Alex said as he remembers Kotori losing control of her powers during her battle against Kurumi. "She was ready to kill Kurumi in cold blood."
"Then that's going to be trouble. Especially with the Dark Riders involved in this." Ryu said, and Alex nodded in agreement.
"Which is why we have to keep watch on both her and Shido." Alex said.
"Got it." Ryu nodded.
"But, Alex, are you alright?" Yui asked, and Alex turned to her in confusion.
"Of course, I am. Why would you ask that?" Alex asked.
"It's just…when you came back, you looked a little off for some reason." Yui told him.
"I was?" Alex asked, and Yui nodded.
"Yeah. I may be overthinking it, but did something happen while you were out?" Yui asked.
Alex then thought back to that dream he had about that girl and the boy, and where the girl called him 'Onii-sama'.
While he was still curious about that dream, he chose to push it aside for now because he had more important matters to handle."
"No, nothing happened." Alex told her.
While Yui wasn't convinced by that, she could tell that Alex didn't want to answer her question right, so she chose to accept as she nodded.
"Alright. But, Alex," Yui said before she placed a hand on his shoulder. "Just know I'll always be here when you need me. Okay?"
Alex smiles at Yui.
"I know. Thanks, Yui." Alex said, and Yui smiled back at him before they noticed that Ryu was giving them a cheeky smile.
"Jeez…Get a room, you two." Ryu told him.
Both Alex and Yui blushed before they quickly turned away from Ryu and lowered their heads.
Alex then heard his phone ringing before he brought it out and saw it was Kotori calling.
"Huh. What are the odds?" Alex said before he answered the call. "Hello?"
"Is this Takahashi Alex?" A woman asked on the phone.
Alex recognizes that voice as Murasame Reine.
"Yes. Who is this?" Alex asked.
"Let's just say I'm a friend of Kotori's. She asked me to bring you to our base, if you're available." She told him.
"Yeah, I am." Alex said.
"Good. Now I need you to step outside really quick. Don't ask, just do it." Reine told him.
"Okay." Alex said before he ended the call and stood up. "Guess I'm heading out again."
Alex then heads to the door.
"Just be careful, Alex." Yui told him, and Alex waved at her as he left the studio.
Then when he stepped outside, he was soon transported to another location.
Alex had his eyes closed before he saw he was now in a metal room.
"Good, you're here." Alex saw that Reine was in the room before she walked to him and reached out her hand. "I'm Murasame Reine. The head analyst of this base."
"Nice to meet you." Alex said before he shook his hand. "I'm Takahashi Alex. But I guess there was no reason for the introduction, since you already know my name."
"It's alright." Reine said before she walks to the door and opens it by pressing a button on the wall. "If you can follow me, please."
Alex and Reine were now walking in the hallway together with Alex following her as she explains Shido's current status.
"He's unconscious?" Alex asked, and Reine nodded.
"Yes. But he hadn't received any serious injuries. He'll wake up soon." Reine told him.
"That's good to hear." Alex said. "But what about Commander Itsuka?"
"It's best that you see for yourself." Reine told him.
They soon arrived in a large room, and Alex soon saw Kotori in a large see-through box made out of metal and glass with a door in the center of it.
The interior has a wooden floor and carpet, and has a couch, coffee table, a TV, a kitchen table with chairs, and has a few refreshments on the side standing on some shelves.
Kotori was seated on the kitchen table enjoying a cup of warm milk but didn't notice Alex and Reine staring at her.
"This is…" Alex said.
"This place is a special confinement area designed to keep a Spirit contained and be monitored. Even though she knows that Kotori isn't able to see or hear us." Reine explained to him, and Alex nodded in understanding.
"I see. And the reason she's in there…" Alex said, and Reine nodded.
"Yes, it's as you expected. Kotori is a Spirit. But she isn't able to control her powers, which is why she's in there, so she won't hurt anyone until we can find a way to get it under control." Reine told him.
Alex frowns to hear that, even though he knows that it was still hard to listen.
"I know this is asking a lot, but I hope that you'll at least keep this from Kizaki-san until further notice." Reine requested.
"Of course." Alex nodded. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about this."
"Thank you." Reine said before she turned to the door. "I'm going to check on Shin. You stay here and keep an eye on Kotori."
"Got it." Alex told her as Reine leaves the room.
Alex then turns back to Kotori and takes a picture of her in that room. Alex was waiting in the room for a few minutes before he heard the door opening and saw that Reine had returned with Shido.
"Oh, you're finally awake." Alex waved at Shido.
Shido was a little surprised to see a stranger here on board Fraxinus.
"Reine-san, who is this?" Shido asked.
"Oh yeah, I guess I should introduce you. Shin, this is Takahashi Alex, he's an inspector of the National Security Bureau." Reine explained.
"Those guys? So, you're one of Kizaki's men?" Shido asked.
"I guess you can say that." Alex said as he took a picture of him. "So, I guess you're here to see her."
Shido then saw Kotori in the special containment room.
"While we're here, she cannot see and hear us. You're on your own from here." Reine told him.
Shido nodded to her before he walked up the stairs and the door opened for him. Kotori noticed her brother entering the room as the walls inside were covered.
Alex and Reine watch the siblings from the outside of the room as Kotori greets her brother.
"Of, if it isn't Shido...I see you've come to." Kotori said as he walked to the table.
Alex took a picture of them sitting on the table together.
"Yeah." Shido said as he pulled out the other chair and sat on it. He looks at his sister and has only one question for her. "What...are you?"
"Your adorable little sister." Kotori said with a cute and innocent smile on her face.
Alex chuckles to hear that.
"Classic…" He mutters before he remembers that dream once again.
Alex shook his head to push that memory away for now as he had to focus on the here and now.
"You're calling yourself adorable?" Shido asked and Kotori leaned on her hand.
"But I am, aren't I?" Kotori asked, and Shido smiled as he chuckled.
"Well, I can't deny that." Shido said before his face turned serious and asked one thing. "But Kotori I need to know. Are you a Spirit?"
Kotori opens her eyes with a strong look as she and Shido stare at each other. Even from outside the room, Alex could feel the tension in the air.
"Hmph…" Kotori looks down. "If I said I wasn't, would you believe me?"
"Yeah. If that's what you say, I'll believe it." Shido answered.
"Are you serious? Disregarding what they'd seen and believing the words of another is something a wise man would never consider." Kotori said before she drank her milk.
"If it means I can't trust my adorable little sister, it doesn't matter how much wiser I'd be, because I'd be unworthy of being your brother." Shido said with an assuring smile on his face.
Alex nodded in agreement.
"Wise words there, Shido." He said.
Kotori sighed as she put down her cup.
"I'm human. At least, that's what I think I am. But the data probably suggests that I am a Spirit." Kotori explained as Alex and Reine were listening in.
"What do you mean?" Shido asked.
"I know I was born and raised in the Itsuka family. There's no doubt about that. But five years ago, I became a Spirit." Kotori told him and Shido's eyes widened to hear that. "It may be more appropriate to say that I became a human with a Spirit's powers."
"Can that even…" Shido said before he stops as he suddenly remembers something. "I...already knew."
"You knew? But you never…" Kotori said.
"No!" Shido said as he placed both of his hands on his head. "While I was unconscious, I had this dream."
Shido then told Kotori about the dream he had when they were children and how Kotori had become a Spirit. She was seated on the ground with flames all around her, and that's when Shido rushes to her to save her.
But that's when Shido got hurt by falling debris and Shido falls to the ground, and Kotori crawls to her brother calling out to him as she cries.
Alex and Reine deeply listened to his story before they saw Kotori standing up with her face a little red. Alex took a picture of her making that face.
"I can't say that I was sobbing and screaming 'Onii-chan' at the top of my lungs, but that seems about right." Kotori said, and Alex chuckled to hear that.
"Classic tsundere." Alex said, and Reine nodded in agreement before Kotori continued to speak.
"It must've transferred to you through our Path when I released my spiritual powers." Kotori said as she walked to the wall.
"I see. Kotori, what happened back then? How did you become a Spirit?" Shido asked and Kotori turned around and leaned her back on the wall with her arms folded and had a smug look on her face.
"Unfortunately, I hardly remember." Kotori told him.
"What?" Shido asked, a little surprised to hear that.
"I know something happened, but I can't really remember. I do remember becoming a Spirit, but I don't know how or why." Kotori explained.
"How could you forget something so important?" Shido asked.
"I don't want to hear that from the guy who forgot that his sister was a Spirit." Kotori said with a smile and Shido looked down in shame and Kotori lowered her head as well. "You're right, though. There's no way I would forget an event that completely changed my identity. Maybe someone wiped our memories."
Alex frowns as he knows who was responsible for that, but he won't say it to them because right now, he can't interfere more than he should've, and he needs to continue to play the role he was given. But knowing that the Itsuka siblings will recover their memory of that time gave Alex some comfort.
This left Shido stunned about the idea of the fact that someone or something had tampered with their memories.
"Well, that's just one possibility." Kotori said with a smile. "After it happened, Ratatoskr found me. When I learned about what was happening on the other side of the world, I decided to save Spirits."
"But didn't you live a normal life after that fire? How did you suppress your spiritual powers?" Shido asked.
"You don't remember that part?" Kotori asked in shock before she answered. "It was you who sealed my powers, wasn't it?"
"I did?" Shido asked in shock that he didn't know.
"Yeah. Didn't I tell you yesterday?" Kotori asked, Shido and Alex then remembered where Kotori had arrived in Spirit form to help Shido.
"I'll have this back for a while, Shido."
"Nobody knows why, but you have the ability to seal a Spirit's powers. That's why Ratatoskr chose you to be the one to contact them." Kotori told him and Shido realized something as he remembered the times his and Kotori's wounds were healed by flames.
"Then, my healing powers, they come from you, didn't it?" Shido asked.
"Well, no duh. They were mine to begin with." Kotori said with her hands on her hips, and soon pointed to a spot beside her. "Speaking of which, Shido, stand over here."
"Why though?" Shido asked.
"Just do it." Kotori told him.
Shido shrugged as he walked to the spot where Kotori was pointing at, and soon Kotori landed a strong punch on his stomach which knocked some air out of him.
Reine was surprised to see that, while Alex chuckled as he covered his mouth as he took a few pictures of this moment.
"You did have it coming, Shido." Alex said quietly as Shido fell on his knees and had his arms on his stomach.
"Didn't I tell you to be careful? You can die easily now. But what did you do? If I hadn't come to at just the right time to shift my weapon away…" Kotori said.
"You…came to?" Shido said as he turned to her, and Kotori realized her mistake. "So I was right, you don't have any control in your powers."
"That's right." Kotori said as she lowered her head. "Once I regain my spiritual powers, I occasionally lose control of myself. I get the urge to destroy things...or...kill people."
Kotori's eyes were shaking in fear as she looked at her hands as they were shaking.
"It's scary. I have no idea what I might do." Kotori said as she clenched her hands and tightly closed her eyes. "Who knows if I did something five years ago? I may have even killed someone!"
Alex frowns to watch her like that.
"Kotori!" Kotori opens her eyes and sees Shido standing in front of her.
"Forget it." Kotori said as she lowered her head. "That wasn't like me."
Kotori then looks up at him.
"Maybe it was thanks to you running in front of Kurumi that I could come back. I suppose I should thank you for that." Kotori said.
"Won't your Spirit powers come back to me?" Shido asks and Kotori walks back to the table.
"Unlike Tohka and Yoshino, I retrieved nearly 100% of my power, so it won't happen on its own." Kotori told him as she picked up her cup. "We'll have to seal it again."
"Seal it again?" Shido repeated.
"Just like you did with Tohka and Yoshino. Date me, make me fall for you, and…" Kotori said and Shido knew the rest as he nodded.
"Alright, I got it." Shido said.
Alex sighed in his head.
'I swear that girl…Why does she have to be so stubborn to admit it?' Alex thought.
But then Kotori's cup fell out of her hand as it spilled the milk, and Shido's eyes widened as his sister fell on her knees, and Alex was worried to see that as well.
"Kotori!" Shido said in worry as he ran and knelt down to check on her. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Kotori told him.
"B-But…" Shido said in worry.
Reine entered the room and leaned on her knees to check on Kotori.
"Shin, that's all for today. Leave the rest to me." Reine told him.
"Reine-san…" Shido mutters.
"We'll talk more outside. Come on, now." Reine told him as Shido looked at Kotori.
"Okay." Shido said.
Alex then watches as Shido leaves the box as he walks down the stairs and as he walks to Alex's side, he asks the mage one thing.
"So what are you going to do now?" Alex asked which made Shido stop as he turned to him.
"Isn't that obvious? I'm going to save my sister no matter what." Shido says as he leaves the room, and Alex smiles to hear that.
"Then good luck to you, Wizard." Alex said quietly. He then turns back to Kotori and Reine as Reine injects Kotori with a serum. "Now I wonder what Sorcerer's next move is going to be. Or maybe I should be more worried about Dark Decade instead."
(Meanwhile)
Orma was in a dark alleyway as he was trying to contact Kurumi to see if she was still willing to help him kill Shido.
Orma grits his teeth as she hasn't answered his calls before he looks at his communication device in frustration.
"Dammit!" Orma exclaimed as he punched the wall. "Just when I was so close to driving Wizard into despair, both that Flame Spirit and Decade just had to interfere."
"Looks like you're on a tight spot, Sorcerer." A familiar voice calls out to him.
Orma flinches to recognize that voice before he turns and sees it was his lord and master, Dark Decade, as he was walking towards.
"My lord…" Orma said before he kneels before him. "I-I didn't know you were coming…"
"Thought that I'll give you a surprise visit and see how you're doing. Care to tell me what happened?" Dark Decade asked.
"Of course." Orma nodded and told Dark Decade of his recently failed attempt to destroy Wizard.
"I see. So thanks to this Flame Spirit and Decade's appearance, Wizard manages to get away. And you hadn't been able to contact this Nightmare either." Dark Decade said, and Orma nodded.
"Yes. I think it's because he risked his life to save hers, so no doubt she feels indebted to him now." Orma said, and Dark Decade sighed in disappointment.
"Figures. Despite her reputation, she always had been too soft." Dark Decade said.
"Agreed." Orma said in agreement.
Dark Decade senses something watching them from his back, he quickly turns around but sees no one.
"Is something wrong, My Lord?" Orma asked, Dark Decade shook his head before he turned back to his servant.
"I thought I sensed a rat, but it was nothing. Back to business, since I'm here now, I'll be more than happy to aid you in destroying Wizard." Dark Decade said.
"Thank you, My Lord." Orma said before the two Dark Riders began to discuss coming up with a new plan to destroy Wizard.
Little did Dark Decade and Orma know, something had been spying on them and it was Black Kerberos as it manages to quickly get away when Dark Decade notices it.
The familiar soon jumps into its master's hand, the White Wizard. The White Wizard was spying on the two Dark Riders through Kerberos, and could tell that those two will be trouble, especially this Kamen Rider Decade.
"Those three will certainly become a problem. I must deal with them quickly." He said before he scans his Teleport Ring on his Driver.
[TELEPORT, NOW]
The White Wizard soon teleports out of the area, and unknown to him is that Seth was spying on him in his own little hiding spot before he leans on the wall.
"So that's the White Wizard. And that was actual real magic." Seth said before he frowns as he remembers a dark and bitter memory of his past of him standing in a ruined battlefield with flames and corpses all around him.
Seth then shook the memory out of his head by shaking it.
"Still those rings of his really got my attention." Seth said with a smirk as he figures out who his next target is going to be.
After he left the Fraxinus, Alex soon arrived at a certain hospital owned by the JSDF where they were keeping Origami for treatment.
Alex was standing across the street and was in a hiding spot while he was looking for someone to arrive.
That's when he spotted Shido, riding on his bike, had arrived as he stopped in front of the hospital before he got off his bike and entered the building.
"About time he showed up. I was starting to worry." Alex said before he looks around for spots that have a perfect vantage point to look at Origami's room.
He soon spotted one on the roof of the building, he soon climbed onto the fire escape and made his way up on the roof.
Alex then saw Shido and Origami in the latter's room. Alex took a photo of the white-haired girl but stopped as Origami began to have Shido do many requests that made him a little nervous and reluctant to do them.
"I swear that girl. She really is an oddball." Alex mutters.
Several minutes had passed and it was now almost nighttime as Alex watched Shido was ready to leave as he walked to the door before Origami stopped him by calling out to him.
Even though Alex couldn't hear their words he knew what they were talking about.
Of how Origami was there in the Tengu Fire five years ago, how her parents were killed in that very fire, and the one who did that was a Flame Spirit codename Ifrit who was also Shido's own sister, Itsuka Kotori.
"So...what are you going to do now, Shido?" Alex asked as he took one more picture of them.
(Meanwhile)
Unknown to Shido and Origami is that Orma was listening in on their conversation in another room that was next to them.
He was surprised by what he overheard but smiles as he could use this to his advantage.
"My plan with Nightmare may have failed. But perhaps I could use this to my advantage." Orma said as he put on his Teleport Ring and placed it on his belt.
TELEPORT, NOW
Orma then teleports out of the hospital to meet with Dark Decade once again to prepare for his next attack on Wizard.
Outside of the room where Shido and Origami were in, someone else was eavesdropping on their conversation, and it was Seth standing next to the door.
"Hmmm...Now this was definitely a turn of events." Seth said before he left as well.
