"Fuck, has anyone told you how fucking heavy you are? Let me inform you, you're fucking heavy," Kara wheezed, it didn't help that she was struggling to move through the tree top streets, one wrong step would send her plummeting down, and while she was certain she'd survive, Charlie was in such bad shape that she doubted that she'd bounce back.

Charlie mumbles something under her breath, calling Kara a rock-fucker had taken to much out of her.

Kara frowned, she wanted to yell at Charlie to speak louder, but it was clear that without her dragon she was about as weak as a newborn baby, and she wasn't some monster. "Since you're doing your very best corpse impression, you should know that corpses don't speak."

"Undead," Charlie mumbled as if it were obvious.

"Are you seriously comparing yourself to an undead monster right now? I should just drop you and tell Santana that they killed you and you came back as an undead, I had to make a decision." Kara grumbled looking up at the sky, she had lost her flare when they had gotten attacked by the strange gremlin elves of the north.

"Sa-tana," Charlie's voice cut out and she frowned as best as she could.

"Yes, your mate, absolutely the most annoying person ever. You know it's actually a good thing that you're this pathetic right now. I can tell you how I really feel without you trying to take my head. She is bossy, she is insistent, Hiccup likes her more than me, and if it wasn't for her I would have rescued you ages ago. You know she doesn't like flying." Kara ranted.

"Kill you."

Kara let out a laugh, "You can barely move, and you're totally at my whims right now. Remember this, that I had to rescue you from the elves. Which means I am a far better fighter than you are. I will remind you of this until I'm on my deathbed." When Charlie grunts she can only smirk at this, she was never going to let Charlie forget that she had needed to rescue her from elves.

Charlie stared at Kara's back for a moment before pursing her lips and letting out a very weak attempt at a whistle. Her cheeks puff out and she tries again managing the smallest of whistles, barely audible to the ear.

"What the fuck was that?" Kara snorted.

Charlie tries again, this time the whistle is even weaker than before, and she gives up. She wasn't quite sure if Hiccup had heard her, even if he had, if he was busy eating elves there was a good chance that he would ignore her until he was good and ready to attempt to find her. She sighs as she gives up, certain that depending on Kara will lead to her inevitable demise. She wasn't even going to see her mate again, she wanted to see Santana badly before she passed. They hadn't spent nearly enough time together.

Kara swears suddenly and drops Charlie onto the ground as she grips her warhammer, there was a rustling and it sounded big. She wasn't aware that the Elves had any big weapons, but they did have magic and they were able to summon all manner of beasts, "Come on."

Hiccup pops his head out of the brush and stares at Kara, an unimpressed look on his features, before he spots Charlie in a crumpled heap on one of the branches, and shuffles over to her and nudges her gently letting out a small throaty hum.

"I can't believe it worked," Kara said in slight shock, or that Hiccup had even come when Charlie had attempted to whistle for him. "Alright we really need to—"

Charlie reaches up and touches Hiccup and smiles at him, "Santana," she manages to mumble to him. That was the most important thing, she needed to get to Santana, if Hiccup could also get rid of the dead useless weight, that would at least make the noise tolerable.

Kara lifts Charlie onto Hiccup's back, making sure she's secure before she attempts to climb on, but she's immediately rejected as Hiccup immediately shrugs her off and smacks her with his tail, sending her careening out of the tree and to the ground.

Charlie smirks, Hiccup had matured, and now she didn't have to listen to Kara's incessant barking.

Judy frowned as she looked down from the Agron kingdom's flagship military vessel. Brittany had certainly outdone herself, and while Mike's family had pleaded for mercy for the elves who weren't part of leadership, they had stolen from her and she was tempted to simply burn the entire forest down until her pain eased. She had agreed to at least wait until she found her daughter before deciding what the elves' punishment would be. Still there was some sort of magical construct wrecking havoc. "What exactly is that?"

"It's a dragon, dear." Artemis said as she looked down at the construct. "So she does have an impressive dragon, I wasn't wrong."

Judy slowly turned to her mother, "You threw her off a building to see if she could fly—severing her connection to her dragon, this is your fault, she never would have been captured if you had just let her grow."

"I did! I only threw her off once!" Artemis insists, she had no idea why her daughter was so angry. "Besides, I can't be held responsible for this, the elves were using forbidden magic. It's no wonder magic has been corrupted, that shouldn't have happened, and I can't imagine that she's even alive." Artemis squints a bit, "Well it does seem her mate found her."

Judy froze, her breath catching in her chest, as she struggled to contain her rage, "What?"

Artemis paused for a moment, feeling her daughter's mood shift. "This is magic that should never have been done, the consequences are severe, I doubt there is a way to undo what was done and magic can do many things, it can not bring back the dead to life."

"And yet the undead exist," Judy snaps at her mother. "If it requires me to destroy magic itself I will do it, to bring my daughter back!"

"Judy, there is no magic that will bring her back as she was. Even her dragon is dying, without a host, it is nothing more than pure magic. If we allow her to continue eventually the magic will dissipate and spread across the globe."

"Then I will—" Judy pauses for a moment and leans over, nearly falling over, she had caught a glimpse of Hiccup and more importantly there had been a flash of blonde hair. "She's alive."

Artemis tilted her head, that wasn't supposed to happen at all, but from the looks of it her granddaughter was close to death. It was probably best not to mention that to her daughter though.

"Clear a path for her," Judy snaps at Nyssa.

"I'll send a team down immediately, and the medical staff."
