This is Aizawa Sensei's Classroom. Would you like to see the Omake?

1. Yes

"Welcome back to our Omake section!" Said Nedzu as he bowed towards the visitors. "We're glad to see you're all here!"

"Agreed." Said Eraserhead with a small smile. "Coincidentally, today's story is focused about hope and friendship."

"In our society… Ostracism is one of the most common abuse's methods someone has to endure…" Said Nedzu in a sad tone as he sipped some matcha tea to calm himself down. "When people feel that they don't belong with anyone, that they're uncapable of forming bonds and connections, eventually both their social skills and self-esteem would become extremely low, making it sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy."

"The unconscious mind is very powerful, or so said some psychoanalysis theories." Added Eraserhead as he remembered his psychological training. "As there are many things like locked memories, personal desires, experiences we've had during life, and negative experiences like anxiety, regret and conflict."

"So, if they think they can't connect with people, those fears would eventually manifest in the preconscious mind, which could appear like avoiding social interactions, not reciprocating friendship offers because there's a risk that things would go bad and so on." Said Nedzu once more. "And those actions would reinforce their original fear of loneliness and abandonment, trapping them in a loop until someone who cares about them can do something about it, or if they could get professional therapy, but both actions combined is usually the best result."

Aizawa nodded as he took some tea as well. "As we saw, Tooru Hagakure, or at least that version of her, endured this as her daily life."

While the Tooru of their universe was a happy, cheery and kind hearted girl, who's family truly loved her and had some friends before Yuuei, her counterpart wasn't so lucky.

As her inability to turn visible on her own, coupled with a family that could (unlike in their timeline), and a world filled with far more discrimination than theirs, caused her life to be hell, both at home and in her classroom.

"Her family was very indifferent towards her, not really acknowledging her existence and focusing on her siblings whom could turn visible or do other things, like even force fields." Said Nedzu as his fur started to bristle. "Plus, her life in middle school was marked with abuse, from insults to beatings every once in a while, since no one could really measure the damage, her body went through… Such was the reason she eventually decided to run away, as her soul couldn't cope with that anymore."

For a few months, Tooru lived on the streets, stealing food and water just to survive… As well as sleeping in rooftops or very isolated places, eventually being found by Tomura Shigaraki, who offered a chance to start a new life as long as she fulfilled some tasks in Yuuei as a spy.

She accepted.

"While Shigaraki originally only saw her as a tool, after a few months he grew to truly care about her, since she reminded him of someone he met as a child…" Said Eraserhead as he wondered who was that person, perhaps a sister or lost relative? "Even so, Tooru didn't truly open up, as she realized that in order to save herself, trust shouldn't be in the equation at all, because she never had someone in her life who cared about her just because they wanted to. And no, she didn't care about Shigaraki or the League beyond casual friends and acquaintances."

But… What if someone cared?

What if Tooru Hagakure had someone who saved her before the League recruited her?

"In this variation, Izuku Midoriya never met All Might after saving Katsuki Bakugou, so he never got One for All, and remained Quirkless." Said Nedzu in a concerned tone. "Without hope of ever joining Yuuei, he decided to become a vigilante, similar to what a counterpart of his did in an alternate universe known as "Viridian", as well as in many other timelines… As he wanted to save at least one person, to ensure that his existence wasn't fully worthless, as his ideals were everything, he had aside from Miss Midoriya…"

"For references, here's a name of realities so you can recognize them easier." Said Eraserhead as he started to write some numbers in the board.

"Earth MHA-2.014": The Original Timeline, from where every single one diverged one way from another, either by minor differences, colliding with other universes and creating amalgam ones, and so on.

"Earth MHA-2.014-1": Nedzu and Eraserhead's timeline, which had small differences when compared to the original, like being able to have insight from many realities.

"Earth MHA-DI-1": Future Ochaco's Timeline. For now, most of its information must remain a secret.

"Earth MHA-DI-2.": Hollow World, Broken Night and Doors to Alleluia's Timeline, the one we've seen so far.

"Earth MHA-DI-3.": The Timeline we're about to see right now, so please, we hope you'll enjoy this tale."

Izuku Midoriya was getting used of his vigilante life… After graduating from middle school without anything except a Pen-Drive he found as a "gift" in his backpack, which he never opened, as he thought his classmates might have added some kind of virus to further mess him up, and his computer was one of the few places where he could find happiness…

He had some months before starting high school, as his mom used some of his father's funds to see if he could get into a quirkless only school that was a bit costly, but which would ensure he would have a chance at life… The thought of being a in place specifically designed to avoid being hurt made him feel weak, but what choice did he have?

He couldn't even save a single human being… If it wasn't for All Might, Kacchan… No, Katsuki would have suffocated to death while fighting with that Sludge Villain, and his efforts did little to nothing in that battle.

After that day, he realized that Katsuki hadn't been his friend for a decade… And it was the best choice to let go of his dream, removing his application to Yuuei and telling Katsuki that he won, that he wouldn't try to take his dream from him, as he would be the only student from Aldera to go to Yuuei, and that he wouldn't be a hero anymore.

To his surprise, Katsuki didn't treat him badly for the rest of the year, and even stopped some students from hurting him further, quoting something that shocked him to his core:

"Come on, we already won and Deku gave up, and since he isn't annoyin' us any longer, I think we should give him a break, after all we won't have to deal with him anymore after all of this is over."

Katsuki probably cared enough to be grateful of his life being partially saved by him, but other than that, their bond was gone, and he needed to accept that.

Since he started his career, he tried to help people get their pets down from trees, or used his computer to find data about criminals to send those anonymously to Musutafu's Police Department, nothing more difficult than that, except that he knew he needed to go fight against crime by his own… After all, vigilantism technically can be done by someone quirkless, since they don't have a quirk to do so in the first place.

Perhaps, it was the only good thing about being quirkless.

"Hungry…" Someone said in a very low voice, so low that Izuku wouldn't have been able to listen had he been a few meters away. "So hungry…"

"Hello, is anyone there?" Said Izuku as he entered the alley, before seeing a ragged pink hoodie covering someone, and since it was shivering, perhaps their body was starting to shut down from lack of nutrients.

To his surprise, he only saw some clothes, including cold weather pants and pinkish shoes, as well as a dark blanket, perhaps used for stealth and hiding their presences… Was it an invisible quirk?

"I'm starving…" Said the person in the hoodie, whom apparently was a young girl… Someone who probably had his age, succumbing to the elements in the streets.

He would not allow it.

She would not die as long as he was breathing.

"Hey, I have some onigirazus and orange juice, would you like to eat?" Said Izuku as he pulled his lunch, which he convinced his mom was for a "vacation's job".

He hated lying to her, but if she knew the truth, that would destroy her…

Nodding, the girl took the snacks, which were filled with smoked salmon, avocados and cream cheese, and started to eat quickly, finally quenching the hunger she had been enduring for three days, as she only had water during that period…

Why would this guy help her? Did he have some ulterior reason?

No, he didn't seem to be that kind of person.

"My name is Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you." Said Izuku in a somewhat kind tone. "Are you lost? If you want to, could I help you return to your family, or perhaps a friend or someone you trust?"

Once she finished eating, she started to laugh… A laugh which showed a cynical point of view, for she knew humanity's true nature; or so she thought.

"My name is Tooru Hagakure… And I ran away from home, Izuku-san, as no one's ever cared about me…" Murmured the Invisible Girl as she tried to hold her breath. "Been living on the streets for three months, stealing water, food and personal hygiene products just to survive, I even had to steal some clean clothes…"

"I don't blame you." Said Izuku as he sat in front of her, respecting her personal space. "Wanting to survive isn't selfish, Tooru-san, and many people would do the same should they be in your situation."

"Tell that to society, I bet they wouldn't care about it." Murmured Tooru with a rasp in her voice, showing a small amount of her inner fury. "And guess what, no one has reported my disappearance, so I might as well find a way to die!"

Izuku gasped as he heard those words… For he finally found someone who's suffering as big as his, or perhaps even bigger.

Despite everything, he still had his mom, ideals, and some leftovers funds his dad left before moving away from their lives…

Tooru-san had nothing.

"I partially understand what you have been through, Tooru-san." Said Izuku in a sad tone. "As I'm quirkless."

The only worst thing that having a "useless", "villainous" or "mutant" quirk, was being quirkless.

"Dear Kami…" Said Tooru as she tried to breathe. "Not to be offensive but, how can you help someone when you've likely been treated like garbage by society?"

"Because it's all I know." Answered Izuku. "All my life I've wanted to save people, and even while I've dropped my self-esteem, self-love and almost everything I've ever had, that desire is one of the few things that keeps me going. Plus, I don't want to see someone else suffering just like I did, and if I can save someone, then at least my existence won't be useless."

Both had different methods to cope with their lives, but in the end, they were still different.

While Tooru Hagakure was abandoned, she knew she didn't deserve that kind of treatment, as she never acted in a malicious or evil way towards someone else, and it wasn't her fault to have been born with a useless quirk… Izuku Midoriya thought he deserved to be abused, as everyone in his life, except from his mother, treated him like trash, and wanted to help others as a way to prove he could use his life to change a small percentage of the world for good.

But for now, it was enough.

Having someone who somewhat understood your current situation could help a lot in events like this.

"So, what can we do now?" Asked Tooru in a worried tone. "Honestly, you should stop being a vigilante… No offense about being quirkless but, I don't want someone to kill you, you could do a lot of good things for people…"

"I have to, Tooru-san." Answered Izuku in a neutral tone. "Who knows how many people are out there suffering like you? Someone has to do something!"

"What if you get killed?!" Said Tooru in a desperate tone. "I've had to sleep in rooftops or warehouses to avoid many dangers… The streets are filled with theft, murder and Kami knows what else, Izuku-san… Based on your lunch, I think you at least have someone who cares about you… Are you going to allow that person to suffer, just to save people you don't know?!

Izuku didn't answer, as his eyes started to go into a blank state…

"I'm an Ally of Justice… And what's a useless life compared to so many ones who may have some kind of hope? All I have done is destroy my mother's existence! She lost most of her friends, her job and her marriage and so many things just for me… I don't understand, Tooru-san, the numbers don't make sense…"

"Sometimes it doesn't…" Said Tooru as she focused her eyes to Izuku's own, while some droplets started to appear in the ground. "Maybe you won't be able to save everyone, but saving one person… May be more than enough, you know?"

Tooru's words seemed to reach Izuku's heart… Giving him an idea, as he hoped his mom may be able to do something…

"Would you like to come with me?" Asked Izuku in a neutral tone. "We have a spare room, and my mom might contact a lawyer friend of hers to help you find a home, and if you don't, you could be adopted by our family, who knows…"

The Invisible Girl couldn't believe it… It must be a dream; it has to be…

"We both know what's like to want to die, and our futures may be filled with despair and darkness but…" Said Izuku as he looked towards the sky. "Perhaps sharing that burden together as friends or family may reduce its effects?"

"Yes…" Said Tooru as she started to cry, her tears and the sun rays angle allowing Izuku to temporarily see her facial features… Or was his imagination? "And if you still want to be a vigilante, I will focus to protect you, just like you want to protect others…"

In this reality, Izuku Midoriya and Tooru Hagakure may not have been able to escape their situations (either via One for All or All for One), but they still found a true friendship… Which may not seem like much but, for them, it was more than enough.

"You always find a way, Problem Child…" Said Eraserhead as he smiled, knowing that at least a counterpart of that Tooru was able to find some happiness…

"This is why we need to stop discrimination, Shouta-kun…" Said the mammalian director in a sad tone. "In our world it may not be as bad, but it could become that way should something happen, perhaps a war or massive conflict…"

"Agreed." Said Eraserhead. "Do you think both Tooru and Denki may have a chance in the DI-Timeline?"

"Honestly, it could go one way or another…" Answered Nedzu. "It depends on what some of our counterparts might do, and how the cards will be dealt with…"

"They may have taken a wrong path, but they're still young, and I'm sure they can change." Said Eraserhead before looking towards the guests. "Thanks for listening to our tale, and I hope all of you have a Happy New Year, as well as Happy Holidays."

"I wish the same as well." Said Nedzu as he bowed towards the guests. "If any of you have some question about the story realms, please tell us so we might help once we see each other again!"

As both Nedzu and Eraserhead finished their goodbyes, Class 1-A's room closed, finishing our current tale… But as people's say, there's always more than our eyes can see…

"Didn't we swear we would someday see the Cherry Blossom's together?" Said an adult woman as she travelled through a desert. "I wish I had been able to fulfill that promise… I don't know how much time this will take, but someday, I will fix everything, and I will save you, Izuku… Even if it's the last thing I will ever do."
