Chapter 7
Previously
"Now Jackie I know you said you didn't want to see us but I don't care I missed my goddess," Fez said throwing the door open.
"I missed you to Fez" Jackie smiled
"Devil it is good to see you,"
"I missed you to foreplay,"
"Hey that was mean" Eric grinned
"Ok, I am sorry I missed you too, dork,"
"close enough,"
Jackie smiled in relief at the fun banter. She looked around carefully as she waited for Mrs. Forman to get her wheelchair.
"He is staying at Fez's place until you say he can come over"
"Thank god," Jackie sighed, "I am not ready to deal with him and the questions he has today. At least by Monday Ben will be here and I will have him backing me up,"
"Ben?" Eric smirked
And now
Saturday had been spent with the drive to Point Plant, Visiting, and Jackie sleeping. Sunday morning Jackie had been late to get up sleeping until almost noon. As soon as she had left the room Eric had jumped to help her to the table. Jackie teased him about it before digging into the lunch. Ben wasn't due to arrive until ten that night and Jackie missed him. She joked around a bit with Eric and asked Red about the shop. Kitty had gone in to work.
"Hey, Eric can I have you do me a favor?"
"Sure what's up?"
"Can you go over the house and open the windows to get it aired out," Jackie asked, "Ben and I are going to go over tomorrow afternoon and take a look but it has been shut up for a few years now"
"Sure," He said, "do you mind if I grab Hyde and Donna to help that way they won't be tempted to stop over while I am gone"
"That's fine the keys are in my bag"
"Okay, do you want to grab them, or should I?"
"Go ahead and grab them they are in the blue duffle bag front pocket,"
"Okay I will give Hyde and Donna a call and see if they are busy," Eric said standing up, "you need anything before I go?"
"Nope, I am gonna lay down with a book for a bit,"
"Alright see you later"
An hour later Eric had taken off to grab Donna and Hyde and get the Burkhart mansion aired out. He was really starting to regret asking them along as they complained about it the entire time. It took nearly four hours to get everything back in order. He left a few windows open hoping it wasn't supposed to rain. Eric glanced around once more to make sure everything looked okay. The house smelled like cleaner and bleach but everything was once again clean. He called for Hyde and Donna. They left the house and he made sure to remind them that his mom expected everyone to stop over the following day for dinner but they couldn't come until then.
