OK guys it's finally here, so what's going on this story is that the gang of got their first assignment to stop a monster from the last chapter

I'll explain the creatures and other things at the bottom of this chapter

They soon appaired at the Riverdale mall, the mall itself wasn't very big, it only had 2 floors, it just had the basics stories like clothes, books, furniture and other thing, but it had a small charm to it.

The gang and Bo and Sabrina arrived at the parking lot by teleportation

"God, I hate teleportation," said Bo

"So here we are" said Veronica "what is it we're looking for again"

"a soul stealer" said Archie reading from the book that he got from Veronica "someone who sells their soul for something and must claim other souls from other people"

"Very good, Archie" said Sabrina "someone's been doing their homework"

"So, what dose he look like then" said Betty

"Ok the man we are looking for has small moustache, brown hair and wearing a business suit, he's working at a stand inside the mall" said Bo

"How does he steal someone's soul" asked Jughead

"Many ways" said Sabrina "but the most common way is to sell someone something they want"

"Like moths to a flame" said Archie still reading the book "it says here that some of them can change into horrifying creatures"

"well, we aren't dealing with something that big so soon" said Jughead "are we"

"I didn't have the time to see what type he was" said Bo "but you all need to do this regardless of what dangerous he might be"

"whoa, I can't do this really, I can't" said Jughead

"its ok jughead we are in this together," said Archie

"Where is he right now" said Veronica

"I don't know, the booth he works out moves often" said Bo "but were gonna have to find him"

So they went off, Archie wanted to meet up with his mysterious blackmailer, Betty, Veronica and jughead went off to the left and Sabrina and Bo went off to the right to find this soul stealer.

"Wow, I need a new pair of shoes" said Veronica looking through the glass window of the shoe store

"Can we not do this right now" said Jughead

"Yeah, Veronica maybe focus on the soul stealer right now" said Betty cheeking the EMF for any supernatural reading, she did a few beeps and the arrow going to the red, and then they spotted him.

There was a booth with a sign saying for sale, behind the booth sat a man in a blue suit and brown hair and moustache and a smug looking face, He was sitting behind his booth selling items, to some people most of the items are junk but then they will see something they really want and they have to buy it, no matter how much it cost.

Betty called Sabrina and Bo over on her phone, "yeah, he right next to the repair shop, wait some people are going to the both" she was not wrong, a loving couple a man and a woman were having a look around the booth.

"look honey" said the woman "I told you there will be something here for you"

"oh, wow this is perfect" said the man

"Looking for something for your anniversary" said the man with the moustache

"how did you guess" said the man

"lets just say I know what people want" he replied "and what they get from it" he also said secretly to himself

The woman was looking at a necklace "gosh it's beautiful" she said in amazement

The man said the same thing about a wristwatch, The man introduced himself as Mr Avericci to the couple

"For if you want to buy them" said Mr Avericci "all you have to do is pay"

"I don't know" said the man "they are both very expensive"

"we were going to use the money to buy anniversary present but maybe we should use it on something else" said the woman

"nonsense, why not just spoil yourselves just once" said Mr Avericci in a creepy way

"maybe he's right" said the man" it is our anniversary"

The salesman smiled wickedly, Veronica felt uneasy, in a way this whatever this thing was, he was like doctor Beaumont only creepier, she wondered if there was a difference between these two, doctor Beaumont did say that he sold his objects to help people where as this man was only selling to steal their souls.

"a couple is buying some items from him" said Betty "what do you want us to do, are you close yet"

"try and stop it if you can" said Sabrina will be there shortly

"OK guys let's do" said Betty, she then turn to the others "Jughead have called Archie at yet"

"I'm trying but he's not picking up" he responded

"lets just go now" said Veronica, so they walked straight up to the booth to stop the couple "excuse me, but you do not want to buy from him he's a con man"

"what" said the man in disbelieve

"its true" said Betty "those are cheap limitations"

"he just scamming you for money" said jughead

Mr Avericci was alarmed that some kids was trying to stop him "um what no, what I sell you is genuine, they are lying"

"If you don't believe us" said Veronica "go get the security guard and ask him why this man is here"

"alright we will" said the woman as they both left, Mr Avericci was quite mad at these kids

"what do you think you're doing" he said "do you know how important this is to me"

"yeah we do" said Jughead "you were trying to steal their souls"

Mr alberici was alarmed "what that's suspost to mean"

"Cut the act" said Veronica "we know what you are"

"your a soul stealer" said Betty "and if you don't come with us now our monster hunter friend will hunt you down and kill you"

"is that so" Mr Avericci, looking concerned, with that he overturned his booth right in front of them so all of the Knick knacks would cause them to cover their faces so nothing could get in there eyes and give him enough time to run.

"oh crap" said Veronica "he got away"

"what do we do" said Jughead

"I'll call Bo and Sabrina" said Betty getting her phone out "lets just see where he's going and try and stop him"

"jughead try and call Archie again said Veronica

"I was trying but I couldn't reach Archie" said jughead

meanwhile back downstairs the couple Toni and Cheryl were talking after coming out of a shop

"ok, know why we bought these items" said Cheryl "you want to spy on Archie, but aren't you becoming obsessing over this a little too much"

"well what if its true" said Toni "what if it true, what if Archie is a monster and he's a threat"

"Well then will send him to the zoo, that way he will be safe and on public display" said Cheryl, but then noticing Archie standing rear by "oh look there he is right now"

"What he doing" said Toni, hiding behind a bench with a potted plant next to it

"what's he doing, what are you doing" said Cheryl as Tony was looking through the shopping bags trying to find something

She found it, getting out a small satellite dish and some headphones, and was pointing at Archie, she was wait for him to say something because he was on his phone

"oh come on" said an annoyed Cheryl "you look ridiculous what are you even waiting for"

Soon Reggie appeared and was talking to Archie

"Oh God" said Tony as she was listening on

"What is it" said Cheryl grabbing on the other end of the headphone and started listening

Archie was waiting there for God knows how long every second felt like a minute

His phone was ringing he wanted to answer it but then soon Reggie appeared

"Reggie what are you doing here" said Archie as he put the phone in his pocket

"I think you know why" he responded

"Look if it's about the whole thing that happened at pop Tate the answer is no, I don't forgive you and I never will"

"Oh, please don't play stupid I'm not talking about that" Reggie said back sharply "I'm talking about how you turn into a monster along with jughead, Betty and Veronica"

Archie was shocked, he didn't think it would be Reggie who would be blackmailing him, nevertheless Archie was still going to confront him

"Look Reggie I don't know what you saw but you'll be involved in something bad if you keep this up"

"listen" said Reggie "I don't care about who or what you are but the point is you're going to give me the money"

"And if I refuse," said Archie

"If you don't and I will expose this video of you and your pals teleporting away, got it" showing his phone with said video

"Yes, I've got it" Archie said as he was trying to find the potion that miss Lucinda recommended in the magic pouch, but that's when Sabrina appaired

"Archie, finally I've found you" she said before noticing Reggie "oh, you're here"

"What are you doing here" said Reggie,

"None of your business" she said back sharply, turning back to Archie "Look we need you right now, the soul stealer is on the loose"

"Hey over here" said Bo waving them over in his direction, Archie and Sabrina run over to him, Reggie took another photo with his phone of them for further blackmail

Sabrina and Archie unknowingly ran past Toni and Cheryl who heard everything

"Did you hear what he said, I told you I was right," said Tony to Cheryl

"OMG, I can't believe it" said Cheryl "wait a minute this has to be a joke, were you on with this"

"What, no, why would I do that" said a furious Toni "are you seriously not believing this"

"well, there's only one way to be sure" said Cheryl "let's go after them but if there's a camera crew out there I'm leaving"

So they ran after them, going out of the back door be emergency exit, they could see Betty Veronica jughead Archie Sabrina and the guy with the big moustache going after someone in a suit

They wandered after him, going past bends and twists and turns towards the farming area of Riverdale, and then they could see him entering a nearby cornfield

A few minutes earlier

"Where do you think he gone to" said Veronica

"wait there is" said Betty, pointing towards the fire exit "he's going out the back door"

"I see Bo" said jughead

"OK, go get him" said Veronica "tell the others jughead we're going after him Betty let give chase,"

Betty and Veronica ran throe the exit doors, while jughead got Bo and told him what's going on

"ok then" said Bo "you go on ahead I'll get Sabrina I know where she went to"

jughead turn off in the direction that Betty and Veronica went to, Bo got Sabrina and archie's attention and they went the same way, and secretly Cheryl and Tony

Betty and Veronica went up and down, left and right, turned around with jughead catching up to them, they saw the soul stealer entering a nearby cornfield that was near the road heading out of town, soon Sabrina Archie and beau caught up.

"dam it said Archie where did he go

"he went in the cornfield" said Betty "what do we do now"

"well just don't just stand there" said Bo "go in after him"

"And do what" said Veronica "do we just kill him"

"Yes, we have to" said Bo "if we don't, he just ruin more lives"

it's worth the pride pulled out the pistols they gone and started to walk in

"OK we need to spread out" said Archie, taking the leader role "Betty Veronica on my left, jughead and Sabrina on my right"

They did so, staying a reasonable distance from each other so they don't lose each other, they walked slowly and looked all around them listening out for any sounds or any movement, at one point but turn out to be a bird, but then something ran past and jumped up on Veronica.

It Mr Avericci from before "you ruined everything you little brats" he said as he tried to strangle Veronica

"hey, get off her" said Betty as she kicked him in the face and aiming her gun at him, but then he just hit her and it sent her back flying he was stronger than he looked, this gave enough Veronica enough time to smack him in the face with her revolver as she managed to get away from him.

Archie was next to come into the scene, shooting Mr aparici in the chest Veronica did the same now normally this would kill a man, he would have fallen over dead by now instead he slowly begins to melt in a strange green type of goo.

"oh gross" said Veronica

"at least it's over now" said Archie, but it wasn't

"what is it what happened" said jughead and Sabrina as they arrived, seeing the gross green BLOB on the ground "er, what is that"

"I'm guessing that's last left of Mr Avericci" said Sabrina

"where's Betty" said Veronica "Betty, Betty"

As the others were looking for Betty, the glob that was the salesman rose up and turning something else, whatever it was, it had razor sharp teeth and claws and look like a dinosaur

When they found her a few feet away

"Betty are you OK" said Archie

"yeah, I think so" Betty responded looking upwards she sees something towering over them "guys lookout"

it was too late he ended up grabbing Sabrina holding upper in the air while he punched Veronica, she ended up rolling away in the dirt

Archie and Jughead pulled out their guns but he was using Sabrina as a human shield "stay back, you try to shoot me shoot her instead"

Sabrina had other ideas she cast a spell saying in Latin, it ends up stinging the monster so in his frustration he throws her away like a toy at Bo who was just coming in to give them back up, they both went tumbling around in the dirt.

He backhanded jughead away and then he grabbed Archie by the neck "I'm going to enjoy this" he said with a horrifying grin on his monstrous face

Betty then tried to shoot him with her gun, but since she was so disoriented, she missed her shot, the monster then picked her up by the neck as well "you little brats I've had enough with you"

Jughead had looked at his friends about to meet their maker, boiling point in his body he couldn't let this happen there was friends after all

"No" he shouted as he ran forward his eyes change a different colour, fur sprouted from his body as he grew twice his size, his clothes ripped off him he attacked the monster that was Mr Avericci, slashing his face with his claws.

"what the hell are you" said a scared Mr Avericci as he was trying to get away, he did manage to get werewolf Jughead off him and tried to get away

But he didn't as werewolf jughead went after him

Cheryl and Toni had arrived at the corn field, as they saw Bo enter

"hey it that guy that was with Archie and that girl" said Toni

"ok so we followed them now wh-" Cheryl was about to finish when they heard a gunshot and some kind of roaring sound "oh god this happening, quick let's hide here"

They went over to the next cornfield on the other side the road and hop over the fence and lay down in the dirt facing towards the other cornfield

It was just in time too, because werewolf jughead and monster Mr aparici came out of the cornfield wrestling each other, hitting the wooden fence breaking it.

Toni and Cheryl were shocked at what they were seeing, two large monsters were fighting each other, they kept one hand over their mouths so the monsters won't hear them although Toni was still recording with her little dish in one hand.

The fight came to an end when jughead werewolf stab it claws into the monster's eyes, and then ripping out his throat with its teeth the monster screamed in pain and chocked in it blood and it stopped moving.

Werewolf Jughead regained consciousness and realised what he done when he looks at his bloody clawed hands he started to freak out, watching the monster's body melting down to goo again, and then this time disappeared for good.

He kept walking back and forth along the fence slowly turning back into his normal self, his clothes mended themselves thanks to the magic chain, after he turn back to normal, he then ran back into the cornfield where he saw the others coming out to see him.

"Jughead, are you alright" said Archie "where is the soul stealer"

Bo who had walk ahead to cheque the area, seeing the damage and the blood he went back to the others "looks like jughead killed him, hey sorry about not knowing what type of soul stealer he was before you eventually killing him, but you did good kid"

"good" said jughead angrily "I just killed someone that's not good"

"He wasn't a person not anymore," said Sabrina

"Well, he was a person once wasn't he" said jughead

"Look there was nothing else you could have done," said Bo "he knew what he had to do and you did it, you did the right thing"

"he's right jughead" said Archie trying to comfort him "it was either him or us"

"he would have killed us if you hadn't," said Betty

"and what Bo said before he would have ruined more lives" said veronica "like that couple from earlier"

Jughead didn't say anything the others just walked him out of the cornfield and they began to walk back down the road

"what about all this damage" said Veronica

"I've got it" says Sabrina casting a spell the spell did kind of worked that wasn't fully repaired she said maybe it's best to leave some damage just in case

Toni and Cheryl ran away as soon as they heard the others were coming out of the cornfield, they ran back towards the shopping mall again and hopped in Cheryl car

"Ok then that just happened" said Toni turning to Cheryl "do you believe it now"

"yes, I do, oh my god" said Cheryl who was getting her head around it "who would have guessed that jughead is a werewolf"

"well, it makes sense now" said Toni "he always had a habit of wolfing down his food"

The girls laughed at the bad joke for a few seconds, before quieting down and thinking about the situation

"well, what do we do now" says Cheryl "do we turn the recording over to the police"

"Let's just listen to it first" said Tony as she pressed the play button on the recording device

they listen to everything including Reggie blackmailing Archie, Sabrina's hatred of Reggie, their fight with the soul stealer and jugheads regret of killing, after hearing everything that they said they just sat there and thinked

"What if they are the good guys," said Toni

"Well, they did say they had to stop a soul stealer" said Cheryl "whatever the hell that is"

"Maybe they are referring to that green thing they fought" said Toni "if jughead is a werewolf, I wonder what the others are"

"We know Archie is a monster of some sort, that girl with white hair might be a witch, no idea what Betty and Veronica are, did Reggie mention what they are"

"No, he didn't" said Toni "anyway what with Reggie what's he doing"

"Well, the obvious wants money for what I don't know" said Cheryl "but he keeps this up he might end up six feet under"

"You don't think that they would do that would they" said Toni "I mean they seem pretty alright and they did kill another monster that was to hurt other people"

"Maybe, but you never know someone when you push them too hard," said Cheryl

"Well, what if we help them out," said Toni

"How"

"What if we can get that recording away from Reggie and just help out in the shadows" said Tony "you know, we'll be like hero's"

"Whoa not sure if I wanna be anymore part of this Toni" said Cheryl "but it wouldn't hurt just to keep an eye on them just to see what's what"

"Well good thing we got all this spy equipment" said Toni smiling to her girlfriend

OK the monster from this chapter the soul stealer is from the episode mega malls of horror from Archie's weird mysteries, he's not called that I just called him that because he sold his soul, and Corrupt other souls.

and the mall setting was in the episode monster the night
