Goku to Riveria's surprise didn't seem in the slightest bit concerned about the dangers of the middle floors. He more or less laughed off all the creatures there as well.
The word around the dungeon must have spread to the monsters though. There were much more than anything the Loki Familia had seen before. It was as if the dungeon was being spiteful of the over powered level one adventurer.
Goku didn't seem to mind all that much. He associated the creatures with another meal each, and since they were flocking towards him in droves he knew he'd be eating well that night.
They luckily passed a group of adventurers on their way out, and after Ais and Riveria haggled with them. The Loki Familia members were lucky enough to score two more large bags to carry Goku's crystals in. Which was a blessing since Goku had accumulated more than a few hundred crystals.
As they went further and further down. Ais and Riveria knew that Goku wasn't going to stop until he hit the deeper floors. There was nothing to stop him, and worst nothing that actually had a chance to fight back against him either.
The two no longer felt pity for the creatures though. They'd lost all emotions after Goku single handedly blew straight threw floors thirteen to fifteen. If he kept up at his pace the two honestly feared for the dungeons monster population.
It wasn't long before Goku had conquered floor sixteen as well. The three marching towards the boss of floor seventeen. They didn't even warn Goku. Instead Riveria gave a prayer in advance to the poor Goliath that Goku was about to put to shame.
The prayer however was dashed as they entered the boss room. Inside Bete was beating the Goliath as Finn watched.
The Beast-Man wasn't killing the Goliath on purpose. Letting it constantly regenerate and beat it down again and again. Finn was watching from the side line as he noticed the three enter.
"Bete! That Spikey haired guy is here!" Finn said in a almost happy tone. "Oh and Ais and Riveria too!" Finn added happily waving to the newcomers.
Goku's head tilted to the side as Bete kicked the head off the Goliath before rejoining the group. His hands stuffed in his pockets as he joined them.
"Yeah whatever" He said walking towards Goku. His face having a scowl on it like he was going to say something. That was until Riveria and Ais stepped in his way.
Bete was taken aback as Riveria spoke in his ear. "Bete. He's looking for a fight, and I think he might kill someone if they don't give him a challenge" Riveria said in a hush yet worried tone. The Beast-Man himself sweating as he heard her tone and noticed her feeble demeanor.
"W-Why are you guys wearing supporter backpacks? AND WHY IS AIS WEARING HIS SHOES!" Betes replied as he pointed between the backpacks and the training weights.
"I'm training" Ais replied showing off the wristbands as well to the obviously upset Beast-Man. "Goku said I'd get stronger if I wore these" Ais added almost proud of herself. Since she put them on she finally got comfortable walking again as if she was learning to do it for the first time.
"That's not the point!" Betes said before Riveria put her index finger to his lips. "It's because Goku agreed to let us watch him so long as we collected his spoils for him" Riveria explained before the beast man threw up his arms.
"What gives Spike head!" Bete said stomping towards Goku. "You get off to making girls hold your stuff or something?" Bete said standing a respectable few feet from Goku. Obviously not wanting to get drove into the ground a second time.
"Huh?" Goku said tilting his head to the left side. "I'm just making them carry the stuff so I can fight easily, and so they wont be too quick to jump into my fights" Goku explained rubbing the back of his head as a loud roar echoed around them.
The Goliath was back up, and angrier than ever after healing. It didn't give them time to react before rushing towards them.
In a flash Goku lifted his left hand to the side of Bete's head, and launched a ki blast towards the Goliaths head. Upon impacting the head immediately disintegrated as Goku gave a sad look.
"I knew it... That one was weak too" Goku complained his head hanging a bit as he walked towards the creature. His right hand diving into its body and ripping its massive core out of it. Quickly the Goliath turned to a massive pile of ash.
Bete didn't move. Or rather couldn't. His whole body was shaking as that point. The one shot from Goku incapacitated a dungeon boss that was known to slay greenhorns by the dozen, and suddenly within seconds a greenhorn by the name of Goku had slain it. Even going as far as to show Amazonian like feats as he ripped its core out.
"Soooo." Goku began thinking on if the core belonged to himself or Bete. "Is this yours?" Goku questioned the beast man. Bete threw up his hands in front of his chest waving them submissively. "N-No you can have it" Bete said noticing Goku was holding the core as if it was as light as a feather in a single hand.
"Oh? Awesome thanks!" Goku said his mouth drooling as he thought of how much food he'd get from turning the core in.
Finn slowly moved towards Ais and Riveria and spoke in a hush tone. "So how strong is that guy?" Finn questioned Riveria and Ais.
"Hmm" The Sword Princess gave a vocal hum trying to think of a way to describe it. "I think he's very strong. At least from what I've seen, but Riveria seemed to have studied him more while I collected crystals" The Sword Princess added.
"Ridiculously strong" Riveria stated simply. "To put it bluntly. His battle prowess surpassed mine and yours. I haven't seen him even break a sweat, and he like Bete doesn't use a weapon, but unlike Bete ever single strike he makes has a target, and NEVER misses." Riveria said pushing her glasses up. "But if you want to see for yourself. Ask to look at his status" Riveria offered.
Finn gave a confused look, however he trusted Riveria. She seemed to praise the man a lot, and since she'd seen plenty of adventurers Finn figured he'd follow her suggestion and moved towards Goku.
"Hey!" Finn said cutting into the conversation Goku and Bete were having. "I was wondering if I could have a look at your stats" Finn questioned.
Goku smiled as he put down the bosses core and pulled out his parchment. "Here ya go" He said handing it to Finn. Who was soon joined by Bete trying to get a read on how strong Goku was.
As the two read Goku could see the skin on their faces turning pale white. As if they weren't long for this world. Bete himself began to profusely sweat as Finn worried for his companions safety as well before handing the parchment back and grabbing onto Bete. The two quickly moving to their Familia as Goku began to admire his crystal.
"Riveria I'm concerned for Bete's Safety" Finn said bluntly. "I'M WORRIED FOR MY SAFETY!" The Beast Man echoed Finn as he looked over his shoulder. To Bete Goku no longer looked harmless, but instead now he was sporting horns and a devil tail as if he was going to take him to the after life like he'd done to the Goliath.
"Relax" Ais said calmly. "Goku isn't the type of person to hold a grudge. Plus I think he assumed Bete is too weak to fight again" The Sword Princess put bluntly which caused the Beast-Man to go red in the face.
"I'll fight him right now!" Betes said a bit louder than he meant to. Letting Goku's fine ears hear.
"Wait you wanna fight again?" Goku said jumping up with a smile. "Alright! I went a little hard last time, but I'll take it easy on you this time" Goku said happily as he stretched in front of the group who all except Ais were thinking of a way to escape.
"I'll fight you" Ais said taking off the training weights Goku had provided her. "I need to find out the gap in our power anyways" Ais added taking a stance against Goku.
The other three were amazed at the bravery that Ais displayed. To Bete it was like Ais had grown angel wings and a halo above her head. He didn't dare speak about it though. Since it might throw Ais off her game.
"Alright" Goku said happily. "I need to test your strength out anyways to come up with a good way to train you" Goku said gleefully. Which made the Sword Princess crack a smile that was unseen by her Familia.
The three behind Ais were at a loss on what to do at that point. It was worrisome that Ais and Goku were going to fight, but Riveria spoke first. "If Ais loses... You two are going to help me carry all these crystal back up" Riveria said bluntly, and with no room for argument. Which caused the boys to begin chanting and rooting for the Sword Princess with great passion.
Goku and Ais however had finally bot gotten into a stance to fight. Ais let her wind magic warp around her from the start as she awaited the Saiyans first move.
