Urgwaew: Thank you so much for your review! My goodness! You made my day with it! You are so kind to like to so much. You and LunePrimus are the best at reviewing! I love that you liked Harry with Draco! I will have to add more but I am trying to think of some. I also love your idea for a one-shot. I'll have to work on that! I personally don't like Peter, but I do think it is important to include him because they would not have made him the secret keeper if they didn't trust him completely. I also am so glad you like my last sentences! Sending you love!

James Birdsong: Thank you for the review! I'm glad you like it!

I apologize for the longer-than-usual gap in between posting. I started a new job and am trying to get a hold of it. But here it is! I hope you enjoy!

When Harry awoke the next morning, he already knew that someone had shut off his alarm. Even with his eyes still closed, he felt movement on the end of his bed and knew who it was.

"Pa'foo?" Harry said groggily, rubbing his eyes.

Padfoot hopped up and went over to Harry, licking his face.

"No! Pa'foot!" Harry said, trying to push the dog off.

Padfoot didn't resist a ton. He jumped off and turned into Sirius. "Good morning, Pup. How're you feeling?" Sirius asked.

"Tired," Harry replied honestly, sitting up.

"Moony Da said you might be. You slept well and we were glad about that." Sirius commented.

Harry nodded, trying to wake up.

"But are you feeling better than yesterday?" Sirius asked, worried for him.

Harry thought for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, I am." Harry let out a sigh. "That's such a relief."

Sirius gave him a large smile. "I am so glad to hear that. We are so incredibly proud of you, Harry."

"Thanks, Dadfoot. I appreciate you and Moony Da's help."

"Ah, we are more than happy to give it. Also, Moony Da wants to see you in his office later today."

"But I didn't do anything!" Harry protested.

Sirius put his hands up. "Hey, I'm just the messenger. You can take it up with the therapist."

Harry sighed and shook his head.

"Come on, I'm sure you're hungry. Let's have some breakfast," Sirius said, offering Harry his hand.

Harry took it and followed Sirius to the kitchen. "What time is it?"

"Almost ten. Let's eat and see how you feel?"

Harry nodded his agreement. There was breakfast waiting for Harry that had a warming charm on it, peanut butter toast.

Once Harry was done, Sirius cleared his plate and said, "Go get ready for the day. Dress a bit warm since we're going to take a walk outside."

Harry nodded and quickly went to get ready for the day. He washed his face, brushed his teeth, and changed his clothes. He put on pants and the sweater Mrs. Weasley made for him last Christmas.

Sirius was waiting in the hallway in his own warmer clothes. "Ready, Pup?"

Harry nodded and he and Sirius left their quarters.

Sirius and Harry slowly walked around the perimeter, chatting. They mostly talked about light subjects, but Sirius did praise, Harry.

"You're doing really well, you know."

Harry shrugged.

Sirius saw this reaction and kept talking. "I mean it, Pup. We are so proud of you. You're fighting really hard. Moony Da and I are impressed."

"It doesn't feel like I'm doing well," Harry admitted.

Sirius filed that comment away to tell Moony and didn't address it with Harry right now. He did, however, say, "Believe me, you're doing well. Most people don't have to fight against their own brains AND an evil psychopath killer. You're doing pretty well."

Harry chuckled and glanced at his dad. "Thanks, Dadfoot. I couldn't do it without you,"

"I'm sure you could. You're a strong young man," Sirius praised.

"No way I could!" Harry said, suddenly stopping. "You're the best Dadfoot ever!"

Sirius gave Harry a genuine smile and kissed the teen on the top of his head, pulling him near him. "I love you, Son."

"I love you too, Dad," Harry replied, burying his head into Sirius' shoulder.

They stayed there for a moment, waiting out a long breeze before they pulled apart and kept walking. Sirius and Harry eventually sat down under a tree, looking out at the lake. They stayed there, talking until someone else walked up.

"Hello, hello," Remus said, his hands in his pockets and he looked down and smiled at Sirius and Harry.

"Hi, Moony Da," Harry said, looking up at the man.

"Hello, love," Sirius said, getting up to kiss him. "How was your morning?"

"Good. I had a good class and some good sessions. All went well. How was yours?" Remus asked, sitting down with Sirius next to Harry.

"It was nice. Harry woke up and has his breakfast and we went for a walk. We've been here for a while, chatting. Thanks for coming out here, by the way."

"It's lovely outside. Sure, it's cloudy, but a nice fall day," Remus commented, looking around.

"I'll get going now," Sirius said, getting up and kissing Harry on the top of his head.

"You can stay if you want to," Harry offered, looking up.

Harry knew that Sirius loved both Harry and Remus and that he would chop off his wand hand if it meant he could be by them all the time. Harry appreciated that most of his therapy sessions are private, but he didn't mind Sirius sitting in on this one. He knew that it would mean a lot to Sirius as well.

"Are you sure, Pup?" Sirius asked.

Harry nodded, "Yeah, I'm sure."

Sirius beamed and sat back down. Remus gave him a warning glare and said, "One word, Sirius, and you turn into Padfoot. Understand?"

"Yes, Healer Lupin," Sirius said, rolling his eyes. However, Sirius was just happy to be included.

Remus shook his head at him and then turned to Harry. "How are you doing today?"

"Better," Harry said.

Remus pulled something out of his cardigan pocket and enlarged it. "Sorry about this Harry, but this is standard. Just go with it, okay?"

Harry nodded but didn't really know what he was going with.

"On a scale of 0-10 with 0 being none at all and 10 being you're about to hurt yourself, what do you think you were at yesterday?"

Harry thought for a moment before replying, "Probably a 6 or 7 at the worst."

Remus nodded and circled and wrote something on the paper.

"What about today?"

"Like a 3,"

Remu nodded and wrote something down again.

"What do you think you're at on an average day?" Remus asked.

Harry thought, looking out at the lake before turning back to Remus. "Probably a 2."

Remus nodded. He wrote some more on his paper and circled some things before shrinking it and putting it back in his pocket. "Good job, Cub. Thanks for answering those questions. I know they can be obnoxious."

Harry shrugged. "You have to do your job,"

"I'm really proud of you for yesterday, you know," Remus said, joining Harry looking out at the lake.

"I still don't understand why," Harry admitted.

"You had to fight really hard to stay safe. I know it's exhausting. You asked for help, too, and that takes incredible strength and bravery."

"I know it was hard, that's for sure," Harry admitted.

Remus knew that that was as far as Harry was going to take the compliment. At least he accepted part of it.

"What are your plans for later today?" Remus asked.

"Nothing for today but tomorrow evening I'm with some friends," Harry told them.

"Does it include Ginny?" Sirius asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Sirius!" Remus shot out, whipping his head to look at his husband. "Padfoot. Now."

Sirius didn't seem to be bothered by it. He popped into the dog and made his way onto Harry's lap.

Harry had blushed but didn't say anything. Remus could clearly see Harry's embarrassment. As his dad, he wanted to pry the heck out of this situation. As his therapist, he knew he had to respect Harry's boundaries.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Remus asked gently.

Harry frantically shook his head.

"Okay, okay. We won't. Let me just ask two questions, okay?"

Harry gave a slow nod, reluctant even for that.

"Are you with other people?" Remus asked.

Harry rolled his eyes and nodded.

"Okay. And are you all being safe?" Remus asked.

"Merlin, Moony Da! What do you think we're doing? Having an orgy?!" Harry cried, blushing.

Remus laughed at Harry's language and shook his head. "No, not at all. I just asked if you are being safe."

"We're studying. Like, real studying." Harry told him.

Remus and Sirius were both unconvinced but luckily Sirius was a dog and Remus kept his face passive. "Alright, sounds good. I'm glad you're being safe."

Harry rolled his eyes again and put his head in his hands. "You know, when I was at the Dursley's I asked for normal parents," Harry teased them.

"And you got a dog and a werewolf!" Remus responded, draping his arm around Harry's shoulder.

Harry laughed and then leaned into Remus. "You know I'm forever thankful for you and Dadfoot taking me in, right?"

"Cub," Remus began seriously. "We love you. We didn't just 'take you in. You are ours. Even with James and Lily, you were always part 'ours'. You do more for us than we could ever do for you."

"Even with this whole mess?" Harry asked quietly.

"Especially with all of this," Remus assured him, nuzzling his head.

Padfoot draped his paw over Remus connecting all three of them. Sure, this is not a typical family in any sense of the imagination, but Harry wouldn't trade it for the world.

The next evening, Harry was concluding a DA meeting.

"That was brilliant, Harry," Ginny said, coming up to Harry when it was over.

Harry blushed. "I just did my best. it was all of you who did really well,"

"You're just being modest, Harry. You're a really good teacher," Hermione complimented him.

"Do you like it?" Ron asked.

Harry smiled. "Yeah, I do. I didn't think I would, but I do."

"Maybe you'll teach here one day, Mate," Neville said, "Then we could teach here together."

Harry chuckled. "That would be something, wouldn't it Neville? McGonagall wouldn't be able to get rid of us."

They all laughed and Harry waved to more people who were leaving the meeting.

"You look like your dad, you know," Luna said.

Harry turned to look at the Ravenclaw. "When did you see a picture of James?" He asked.

"Not James, Silly. Professor Lupin. You have the cardigan and everything." Luna smiled. "I have to go, some knickyspurts are calling me." Luna wandered off, Ginny behind her.

Harry looked down at his outfit and blushed, but smiled. Maybe he did look like Moony Da. He only hoped to be half the teacher as his dads are. If he can't yet teach like them, he might as well look like them.

Harry had a good rest of his week and had a nice weekend with his parents. He didn't have any more urges or anything that was anything he had to worry about. Of course, this is Harry Potter and Harry Potter is a teenager who is dealing with a dark wizard who is after him and the aftereffects of the trauma he has lived through so things won't stay calm.

While Harry had a good Monday the next week, he was irritated after his classes.

Sirius was in the Marauder Quarters when Harry came home and so was Remus due to a cancellation. Sirius was sitting in the sitting room with essays and Remus had popped into their bedroom for a moment.

"Hi, Pup! How was school today?" Sirius kindly asked, setting down the papers he was grading as Harry walked in.

"Alright," Harry shrugged, kicking off his shoes and throwing his backpack down.

"What'd you do?"

"Stuff,"

"What type of stuff?" Sirius probed.

"I dunno!" Harry glared at Sirius.

Sirius was fine with Harry's answers before this, but his answer coupled with his tone on the last response caused Sirius to lose his happy-go-lucky smile.

Sirius' face became stern and his voice lower. "Harry, don't use that tone with me. I just asked what you learned in school. Please change your attitude," Sirius warned Harry.

"It doesn't matter!" Harry replied.

"Harry James!" Sirius said sternly, standing up.

"Whoa, whoa. What's going on?" Remus asked, walking back into the room.

Harry stood there, just glowering at Sirius. His fists were clenched and his eyes were narrowed.

Remus looked back and forth between the two boys before Sirius turned to him and said, "Harry decided to come home with an attitude today and was gracing me with it."

"They were stupid questions!" Harry shot back.

Sirius took a step forward towards Harry and Remus stepped out in between them. Remus put his hand on Sirius' chest, stopping the man from walking any further. He then looked at Harry and said, "Harry, go cool off. Go downstairs. Now."

Harry huffed and stomped downstairs, tugging off his tie. He slammed the door behind him, causing Sirius to curl his own fists in anger.

Remus stood there with his hand on his chest and said, "Padfoot, take a deep breath."

"Moony, did you see Harry? He's-" Sirius started talking, full of hot air.

"Sirius, take a breath," Remus said again, this time more firmly.

Sirius rolled his eyes to the ceiling and did as Remus asked.

"Good. Again." Remus instructed.

Sirius took another deep breath, closing his eyes. He took another one and his fists uncurled and his body relaxed a bit. "Better?" Sirius asked Remus, looking at him.

"Yes. Come, sit down. I'll get us some tea." Remus said.

Sirius walked to the couch and Remus quickly came back with two cups of steaming tea and handed one to Sirius. Both men took a long sip and had another breath before Remus turned to Sirius and said, "Now, when you're calm enough you can tell me what happened."

Sirius took another sip and breath before beginning to speak. "He came home with an attitude like I said. All I did was ask him how his day was and about what he learned and he got angry and blew me off. I don't know where it all came from," Sirius honestly told him.

"Something could've happened at school," Remus reminded him.

"Yeah, I know, but it didn't seem like that to me. Did it to you?" Sirius asked, looking at Remus.

Remus shook his head. "No, it didn't, but it's not out of the question. I'll talk to Harry in a little bit. I think he just needs to cool off." Remus replied.

"Then what do you think is the matter?" Sirius asked.

Remus gave Sirius a small smile. "I think he's a 15-year-old boy who is hormonal and living with his parents instead of his friends."

"But, but he has to!" Sirius insisted.

Remus nodded. "You're right. I know he needs to be here right now. But believe it or not, this is a good sign."

Sirius rolled his eyes. "How in the world is this a good sign?" Sirius asked.

"This means his hormones and annoyance for us is greater than his PTSD, depression, anxiety, and trauma," Remus explained.

Sirius looked at Remus, still lost.

Remus smiled at him and said, "Sirius, he's acting like a typical teenager. Today, instead of having a panic attack about defeating the darkest wizard we've ever known, he's annoyed and irritated because his dad is asking him about his homework. One is a lot more normal than the other."

Sirius smiled. "You're right. I never thought about that."

"It's why they pay me the big bucks," Remus joked, winking.

"Cheeky werewolf," Sirius said, rolling his eyes.

Remus chuckled and both took another sip of their tea.

"What are we going to do about Harry?" Sirius asked after a quiet minute.

Remus sighed and thought for a moment before speaking. "I'll check on him in a little bit. If he's calmed down enough we can both talk to him and bring him up here. You're right, he can't speak to his parents that way. I also know that when you're angry like that and Harry is irritated nothing is going to be achieved."

Sirius sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "You're right, you're right. I just get so angry when he talks to us that way!"

"I know. It's frustrating. You're allowed to not like it." Remus affirmed him.

Sirius let out a breath. "Thank you, love. What would I do without you?"

"What would I do without you?" Remus echoed, kissing his husband. When they were done, Remus got up and headed down to the basement area/ lower padded room.

Remus made his way down the stairs and saw Harry sitting against the wall, his arms crossed and legs pushed up to him. Remus smelled the air and could tell that Harry was calmed down, but not all the way.

"Hi, Harry," Remus said, leaning against the wall.

Harry flicked his eyes up. "Hi."

"How're you doing?" Remus asked, his voice level.

"Fine," Harry said shortly.

"Harry," Remus said with a warning tone.

Harry huffed and said, "But I'm fine!"

Remus gave Harry The Look and raised his eyebrows.

Harry groaned and said, "I'm annoyed. Happy?"

Remus pursed his lips together and looked at the fuming teen for a moment before saying, "Follow me. And don't attack Dadfoot."

Harry huffed again and got up, following Remus, his arms still crossed. Part of him wanted to just stay there just to spite him, but he didn't really feel like staying there, and also was curious as to where Remus was taking him.

When they got upstairs, Remus immediately said, "Sirius, don't say anything. Just go to our bedroom. Trust me, please." Remus did not need Sirius and Harry at each other's throats again.

Sirius gave Remus a look but didn't argue. He turned and went into their bedroom as Remus led Harry into the kitchen. "Sit," Remus said, gesturing to a chair.

Harry sat and, predictably, crossed his arms. He muttered under his breath as Remus went around the kitchen, grabbing things.

Eventually, Remus placed a plate in front of him with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a glass of milk. "Eat."

"I had peanut butter Moony Toast for breakfast!" Harry whined.

"Just eat," Remus said.

Harry sighed and took a bite of the sandwich, giving up.

Remus sat down across from him and watched him. "Dadfoot said he saw you at lunch but didn't see everything you ate. Did you eat enough?" Remus asked.

"I had an apple and some soup," Harry replied in between bites.

Remus nodded, thinking.

It didn't take long for Harry to finish the sandwich and drink the milk. "What did you want from me, a nap?" Harry said, snarky.

"Exactly," Remus said.

"Wait, really?" Harry asked, bewildered.

"Yes, come on," Remus said, offering a hand to help Harry up.

Harry didn't take the hand and stood up, stomping to his room. Remus followed him.

"I don't want to sleep!" Harry said, sitting at his desk.

Remus bit back a smile. Whoever said that teenagers were like toddlers was exactly correct. "You don't have to sleep, but you do have to sit in your bed. Come on, let's go."

Harry didn't move.

"Harry, I haven't asked much of you right now. I'm asking you this. I would appreciate it if you'd listen to me." Remus said, his voice firmer.

Harry bit his tongue, thinking. Eventually, he sighed and got up, sitting on his bed.

"Thank you," Remus said with a smile.

"What am I supposed to do?" Harry asked.

"Just stay on your bed and rest. Yes, I know you said you don't want to sleep and that's fine, but just stay on your bed." Remus told him.

Harry gave a curt nod, showing that he heard Remus.

"I'll be back," Remus said, closing the door.

Harry huffed and crossed his arms as he stiffly sat on his bed. He stayed there for a little bit before starting to lay down. 'I won't get under the covers though,' Harry thought. 'I won't give him that satisfaction.'

However, it didn't take long before Harry fell asleep. He woke up two hours later, not knowing if he slept two minutes, two hours, or two days.

Harry moaned as he woke up and rolled over. He looked at his clock and saw that it was almost 7. He rolled out of bed and onto the floor with a thud.

"You okay, Pup?" Sirius said, running in.

"Yeah, just got out of bed," Harry said, getting up.

"Oh, okay," Sirius said, clearly relieved.

Harry followed Sirius to the sitting room and start on the couch. He took a few more moments to wake up before saying, "What's going on?"

"Moony is at dinner and I was waiting here. You fell asleep after Moony Da made you your snack."

Harry had the grace to look sheepish when Sirius referenced the afternoon.

"Yeah, about that," Harry began, rubbing the back of his neck.

Sirius leaned back and crossed his legs. This should be good.

"I, uh, am sorry about earlier. I was kind of a git."

"Kind of?" Sirius asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Okay, okay. A complete git." Harry surrendered.

Sirius nodded, agreeing with him.

"I don't really have a reason why. I just felt, I dunno, irritated." Harry admitted.

Sirius nodded, understanding. "I get it. Moony will be back soon and we'll talk about it more when he gets back. Why don't I get you some dinner, hm?" Sirius offered.

"Sure, thanks," Harry said, following Sirius to the kitchen.

Harry sat down and Sirius was able to get a house elf to bring dinner. Dinner tonight was a chicken stew and biscuits. Harry was happily gobbling it down when Moony came back.

"I'm home!" Remus called softly.

"We're in the kitchen!" Sirius responded.

Remus came into the kitchen and took a seat.

"Harry's just having some dinner," Sirius told his husband.

"Did you have any dinner?" Remus asked.

Sirius refrained from rolling his eyes. "Yes, I did."

"What did you have?" Remus pressed.

Sirius sighed. "I also had stew and a biscuit. I drank water. Is that enough, Healer Lupin?"

Remus gave Sirius a look. "You know I just want to make sure you're taking care of yourself."

"I am, I promise," Sirius reassured him.

The two men kissed and Harry kept eating, not wanting to draw attention to himself. However, he had no such luck. As soon as Remus pulled away from Sirius, he set his sights on Harry.

"How are you feeling?" Remus asked Harry.

"Better," Harry said, swallowing food.

"I saw you fell asleep," Remus commented.

"Mmhmm," Harry said, nodding, his mouth full of food.

Remus watched him for a moment before saying, "Eat up, it's good stew."

Harry nodded and took another bite. He was hoping that's all Remus would say.

Remus, however, knew that they were going to talk about what happened. He also knew that saying 'Oh, we'll chat later' is just going to ruin Harry's appetite. Remus himself can't stand it when people just say things like 'Oh, we'll talk when you're done' or 'Call me when you get this'. He knows that it causes major anxiety and often is unnecessary. He didn't want to do that with Harry unless it was necessary to say that.

Harry was done shortly and cleared his plate. Once he put his plate in the sink he thought he was getting away, but no such luck.

"Thanks for clearing your plate, Harry. Let's head to the sitting room." Remus sighed.

Harry hung his head in dread and dragged his feet to the couch where he sat down.

"So Harry-" Remus began.

"Sorry about earlier," Harry butted in.

Remus raised an eyebrow in surprise and leaned back. "Sorry about what, Harry?"

Harry sighed. "Sorry that I was disrespectful to both of you."

Remus and Sirius nodded, their faces stern. "You were disrespectful. What happened?"

Harry felt his stomach drop. He hated when they were disappointed. "I dunno," Harry said, rubbing his toe into the ground.

"Harry," Sirius said warningly.

"But I don't!" Harry cried. He took a deep breath, calming himself down. "I just felt irritable. There wasn't any reason."

"You weren't triggered?" Sirius asked, wanting to make sure.

"No, nothing like that," Harry confirmed.

"Harry, you're a teenager," Remus began.

Harry's brow furrowed in confusion. Where in the world was his uncle going with this?

"Your body is constantly growing and changing and there are hormones all over the place," Remus continued.

"Oh Merlin, no!" Harry groaned, covering his face with a pillow.

Sirius had to bite his lip and turn his head to keep from laughing.

Remus, through years of practice as a therapist, was able to bite the inside of his cheek and keep a straight face. He did, however, give Harry a small smile and say, "No, Harry. I'm not giving that talk."

"Thank Merlin," was the muffled reply from behind the pillow.

Remus swallowed his chuckle and continued by saying, "But your hormones are running crazy. Everyone, especially teenagers, might just feel irritable, angry, or sad at any point without a reason. Really, any emotion."

Harry lowered the pillow in front of his face now.

"We can't control our feelings. It's okay and normal for you to just feel annoyed sometimes. That's okay. You are still a teenager, no matter what burdens you have to carry. What is not okay is to take it out on us and treat us that way. If you notice yourself feeling that way and don't need our assistance, just tell us. We'll back off and get you what you need until it passes."

Harry nodded, ashamed. "I understand. I'm sorry, Dadfoot. I'm sorry, Moony Da."

Sirius was going to reply, but Remus held up his hand so only Sirius could see, indicating that he had more to say.

"Harry, I want to make one more thing clear to you, okay?"

Harry nodded, easily hearing the serious tone in Remus' voice.

"There is a big difference between having feelings about something happening or being triggered, and then having teenager hormones. I'm not saying either is easy, but there is a difference. If you're having thoughts of hurting yourself or if something triggered your PTSD or depression or any of that is acting up, come get us. There's a difference between you being disrespectful because you can't hold your tongue, and getting your feelings out when your mind isn't in a good spot. Does that make sense? Please be honest."

Harry thought for a moment before saying, "I think so. It's a little confusing, but I think I understand. So what you're saying is that how I just acted isn't okay just because, and I should tell you what I need, like to be alone. But if I am not in a good spot it's a whole different story?"

"Exactly. And when in doubt, run it by us. You just need to communicate with us and we can get you what you need."

"I'll do that. I'll work on being more respectful and holding my tongue."

"You better. Who raised you? Animals?" Sirius teased him.

Harry broke out into a laugh and then hugged Sirius. "I am sorry, Dadfoot."

"I know, Pup. I know. I love you." Sirius said, embracing him.

When they released from their hug, Harry hugged Remus before going back to his spot.

"So let's go over what we learned," Remus said to Harry.

Harry and Sirius looked at Remus expectantly.

"That a nap, food, and love can make anything better."
