Day 10 – Umbrella
"You're a sap, Barton."
"Why? Because I like movies with happy endings, Barnes?"
"Try sappy endings."
The team was assembled in the living room for movie night. Instead of watching modern movies, they'd decided to watch old movies. Tony joked those two wouldn't consider them old, though. In response to the comment, the team all threw pillows at him, and for revenge, he kept all the pillows and refused to share. Instead of going back to his room to get a pillow, Clint used Natasha as one. She, of course, decided to stand up and was soon replaced by Bucky. Natasha joined Steve and Sam on another couch, Bruce and Thor were in a couple of chairs, and Tony and Pepper were on the loveseat where Tony hoarded the pillows. After watching The Wizard of Oz, with Steve explaining that's how he knew what Fury meant by flying monkeys, they watched Little Women as it was next up on the movie channel. "See, Barnes? Did you expect that? Professor Bhaer returned Jo's umbrella, and they ended up sharing it, falling in love, and getting married."
Bucky looked down at Clint. "How do you know so much about this movie?"
"It was one of my mom's favorites. Now, hush, Singing in the Rain is next. I love that one."
Bucky sighed and watched the movie. Halfway through the movie, he looked around and found most everyone had left. Clint had fallen asleep with his head still in Bucky's lap, so he continued running his fingers through Clint's hair until he, too, fell asleep, dreaming of sharing an umbrella with Clint.
