here is the fourth chapter. I. don't know anything about medical stuff, so sorry for every mistake All I know is from Grey's Anatomy, 9-1-1 and so on :D

"Stop the ambulance" shouts a paramedic to the driver, who comes to a standstill within seconds. Then he immediately starts CPR while the other says something about his condition and injects something in his arm. Mike, who doesn't understand anything except that Harvey's heart has stopped beating, almost stops breathing himself. After a minute or so, the monitor starts beeping again.
"He is back!" the first responder yells to the driver "hurry up, he's losing too much blood!". Mike almost falls over with relief.
At the hospital, Harvey is immediately rushed into the OR while Mike has to wait alone outside. A few minutes later, Rachel, Donna, Jessica, and even Louis, who had an argument with Harvey, also arrive.
"How is he?" Jessica asks and Mike shakes his head. "Not good," he says, recognizing from his voice that he cried. He lifts his head and looks at Donna "Are you okay?"
"If you mean my arm, yes, everything else no! Mike doesn't say anything and just nods.
Nobody talks for the next hour, they just sit there together and wait for news. After an hour, a doctor comes to them.
"Family of Harvey Specter?"
"This is us"
"What is your relationship to him?"
"We're good friends, his second family actually. Mike and I are his emergency contacts. His family doesn't live here, he doesn't have anyone here but us."
The doctor nods, "Okay. So, my name is Dr. Gray I'm the MD here. Mr. Specter suffered a severe abdominal wound that we haven't been able to fully get under control of yet. He went into cardiac arrest during the surgery"
"Again" Mike says shocked and everyone looks at him. "His heart stopped beating in the ambulance," he says softly.
"We got him back but we had to stop the surgery first to revive him, which took us a few minutes. The surgery will take at least two more hours if there are no further complications."
"Thank you" says Louis and nods. Dr. Gray nods back and says "I need to go back. Try to get some fresh air in the meantime".
Mike sits down in one of the chairs. "It's my fault... it's all my fault" he says while resting his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands.
"No Mike it's not" says Donna honestly. "Hey, we were all just doing our jobs"
"I don't mean that" says Mike. "The bullet was meant for me. He wanted to shoot me and Harvey jumped in front of it."
"Mike" says Rachel
"NO, STOP IT. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT. HE WOULDN'T BE THERE IF IT WEREN'T FOR ME. I SHOULD BE LYING THERE, NOT HIM!"
"Mike calm down, otherwise they'll throw you out."
"I DON'T CARE" he yells.
"Mike hey" says Donna and sits next to him. "Yeah, the bullet was meant for you, but you would have done the same for him. I mea… "
"You don't know that"
"Yes, I know that. Stephen was willing to shoot you if you kept holding the wound closed and you stayed there. You risked everything."
"I owe it to him"
"That wasn't the reason" Then silence returns for a few minutes. Jessica and Louis got coffee and something to eat for everyone, both of whom knew that nobody would eat any of the food.
"Harvey is strong" says Louis, he will do it! "Yeah, it's Harvey" says Donna "he never loses" and smiles weakly.
Rachel, who is next to her, holding her hand with one hand and Mike's with the other, squeeze her hand lightly. "That's right," she says.
After two and a half hours, Dr. Gray back towards the group.
"How's Harvey?" asks Donna impatiently.
"Mr. Specter is stable so far. He's lost a lot of blood so we've put him in an induced coma so his body can rest. It'll take at least a week.
"What" Donna asks shocked "a coma?"
"An induced coma. This is only good for Mr. Specter. We can wake him up at any time. He is very weak from the circulatory arrest and especially from the abdominal wound and blood loss, he needs the coma to recover."
"So he'll be fine?" asks Rachel
"At the moment he is stable, but as I said, very weak. We will do everything in our power to keep it that way. There is..."
"Can we see him?"
"No, not right now. I'm very sorry, I know how difficult this is for you. We still have to run some tests."
"Something's wrong, right?" asks Mike and looked at her.
"Yeah, the abdominal wound injured some important nerves. We tried to repair them and they need to heel, but we won't know if it worked until Mr Specter wakes up again."
"And if not?" Jessica asks, startled
dr Gray takes a deep breath "Then he'll be paralyzed from the waist down"
"No" says Donna, who can no longer stand on her feet.
"Donna" screams Rachel and luckily Louis is with her so he supports her.
"We just need patience. We tried all we could and even if he doesn't feel anything when he wakes up, there's still a chance for the nerves to heal with the time"
„Sit down and drink something" Rachel gives a bottle of water to her.
„Thank you Dr. Grey" says Mike and turns to Donna. „Hey, he is alive" that's what counts right now, nothing else." He says to Donna and caresses her back.
„Omg his family, we completely forgot about them" said Louis."We should tell them"
„yeah, Marcus needs to know and his mother,too"
„No" says Mike „He wouldn't want her to be here"
„Mike, we have to tell them. He's her son, she cares" says Donna
„Harvey needs rest, you heard Dr. Grey. If she comes and talks to him, he might hears her and gets upset and he doesn't need it"
„Mike, Donnas right. Harvey needs his family" says Rachel.
„I'm not saying Marcus shouldn't come, I'm saying she shouldn't"
„Let's discuss that later." Says Donna."I'll go call Marcus"
A few minutes later Donna comes back. Marcus is on his way and Lilly too. She was at Marcus' when I called him."
Nobody says something for another few m8nutes.
"Somebody has to get back into the company" says Donna
"Yeah, that's right" we need to take care of Harvey's clients and take care of ours as well.
"I'm not going," says Mike
"Mike..." Jessica begins
"No, I don't care. I'm not leaving until I've seen him. If he dies, the clients will be no use to him. It's my fault he's lying there fighting for his life. Even if everything goes well, he is maybe paralyzed forever..." he says desperately.
"He's not going to die," says Donna, "and you just said it yourself, all that matters right now is that he's alive."
"Okay, Jessica, Louis and I are going," says Rachel.
The three make their way to Pearson Specter while Mike and Donna wait another three hours to see Harvey.
Then it's time. A nurse comes and takes them to Harvey. Mike walks behind Donna as they enter the room. He is ventilated. They go to Harvey's bed. Donna on the right and Mike on the left side.
"Hey Harvey," Donna says quietly. She bends down and kisses his cheek and whispers. "You have to fight, I need you."
"Hey buddy" begins Mike "You know I could kill you myself for what you did. But thank you too." Mike says and squeezes his hand. "You saved my life and made sure my daughter didn't grow up without her father and I always will be in your debt for it"
They stay with Harvey until visiting hours are over. Mike offers Donna to come with him and Rachel, but she says she needs some time for herself.
When Mike comes home, Rachel is preparing dinner.
"Hey, how's Harvey?"
"He's stable, we have to wait"
"Mike..." she hugs him "he'll be fine for sure"
"Yeah, I really hope so. I, I can't lose someone I love again"
"you won't"
But she can't stop herself from adding "I thought I was gonna loose you. Don't ever do that again"
"What do you mean?" asks Mike
"nothing, i was just scared" Rachel immediately regrets what she just said but it's too late. She really could slap herself right now.
"Rachel, what do you mena"
"He threatened you to walk away from Harvey, you didn't listen to him. You risked your life. We have a child Mike.
"Are you serious? I should have just walked away?" Mike raises his voice.
"I'm just saying that you need to think more about your family. What are we going to do without you?
"HE IS MY FAMILY!" screams Mike "Without him I would have NOTHING. We wouldn't know each other and I would probably be in jail or worse dead."
"Stop screaming, Lucy is in her room". but Mike ignores it. "I really thought you cared about him"
"I DO CARE" Rachel yells now too.
"Even if it were only for you, I will always be grateful to him, apart from everything I've learned from him. I'm glad he's alive Mike and I..." Rachel gathers herself "I was just so scared. You told me what it's like to grow up without parents, without a father. I don't want my daughter to grow up without her father. I'm glad you didn't leave him alone Mike, I really am" says Rachel honestly with tears in her ezes "I care about him, I was just scared for you. I can't and I don't wanna live without you"
"If it weren't for him, I would be dead now. If he hadn't pushed me away, I wouldn't be in the hospital right now, I wouldn't need surgery, I would be 100% dead. He aimed the gun directly at me" Mike sees the desperation in her eyes.
Mike hugs her. "You won't lose me. But I want you to know that I would act the same way again."
"I know. And I love you for that" she says and gives him a kiss.
Mike can barely eat and his eyes are red from crying. He tries to rest in their bedroom while Rachel prepares something for college.
Then there's a knock on the door and the door slowly swings open "Daddy?" Mike lifts his head and sees his six-year-old daughter standing at the door. "Can I come in?"
Mike smiles "of course, honey" She sits on Mike's lap "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine"
"Then why are you crying, your eyes are red?" she says worried and looks at him
"Unkle Harvey, he he is ill. I am just sad because of him"
"Will he be okay?"
"I think so, and the doctor thinks that, too" says Mike trying to reassure her.
"Will he miss my birthday? He said he would love it to come when I invited him yesterday"
"Yeah, I am sorry honey. You know he loves you but he won't be able to come.
"Oh" she said sadly.
"Can I call or visit him and wish him a speedy recovery?"
"No, honey. He needs to rest a lot so that he can get well again."
"I don't know if I wanna celebrate if he isn't there", she says "It's always so boring when he isn'ta there" and leads Mike to laughs. He hugs his daugther. "I am really sure, he would want you to celebrate" he says "I love you, honey. Thanks for coming in here" Mike says pulling her more in a hug.
"I love you too, daddy"
