Updated 2/13/2023: Made Kaguya less horny, and added some more narrative.

Sitting down behind him, Cow Girl found herself getting easily distracted from time-to-time, as Goblin Slayer was handing items back to her, so she could properly put it away in one of the three wooden chests he had alongside the wall of his shed. Keeping her chin resting on his other shoulder, while Kaguya sat vigilantly on his other shoulder, Cow Girl was happy to just be near Goblin Slayer, even with the circumstances being what they were.

"So, you're still going to write to me whenever you can, right? Oh, and now that there aren't any more goblins to keep you distracted, do you think you could try to be more descriptive when you write your letters?" Cow Girl asked with a smile on her lips, as she took the quiver of arrows from him.

"... I'll try to," Goblin Slayer replied with a conflicted look in his eyes, as he pulled out the last weapon from his pack, before handing it to Cow Girl.

Without needing to physically look at his face to notice the sadness he was trying to hide from her, Cow Girl blinked a few times in silence after having put his cheap dagger where it belonged. Slowly sitting up on her knees, Cow Girl suprised Goblin Slayer when she suddenly wrapped her loving arms around him from behind; embracing his head as she nested her face against his soft gray hair, while accidentally knocking Kaguya off of his other shoulder.

"… What are you doing?" Goblin Slayer asked with a deep breath, while trying to keep himself composed as he tried looking past Cow Girl's forearm to see if Kaguya was alright, which was covering his scarlet eyes.

Closing her eyelids softly while being completely ignorant of the dirty look she got from the horned rabbit as she climbed into the man's lap, Cow Girl kissed the back of Goblin Slayer's head; taking in a deep breath in through her nose of his scent, before slowly exhaling it out after holding it in her lungs for as long as she could. "Just… Wanted to let you know that you're doing a good job."

Smiling cynically at the compliment, Goblin Slayer let out a throaty-low chuckle as he shook his head while Cow Girl was still affectionately holding him from behind. "Everyone else seems to think otherwise," Goblin Slayer argued, while being telepathically told by Kaguya of where to reach out to finish repacking what he needed from all the consumable items he had scattered on the floor in front of him.

With her eyes still closed, Cow Girl was unable to see with her own two eyes how Goblin Slayer was able to deliberately pack items while completely blinded by her backwards hug; something that would have alerted anyone, as such a task would have been near impossible otherwise. "Tch! You're being too hard on yourself again! There's no way that could have gone better… Besides, it's not like there was any real way of saying what you said WITHOUT stepping on anybody's shoes; their reactions were to be expected, unfortunately."

"… I suppose," Goblin Slayer said with a softened look on his face, as he once again had to remind himself that what he was doing was for the best, as there wasn't anyone of them who could do the things he was capable of. "I have to admit something to you… I'm surprised that you're taking this well, Bethel," Goblin Slayer admitted, as he had been expecting for Cow Girl to have been more heartbroken by his plan.

Letting out a soft chuckle, Cow Girl let out a cheery hum as she rubbed her face in Goblin Slayer's head full of gray hair, covering herself in his scent, as she lowered his arms down to wrap them around his chest. "Why wouldn't I? Of course I'm going to miss you, Eren! But I'm used to you being gone for long periods of time anyway, so to me this isn't going to be much different than the usual "song and dance" of me waiting for you to come home," Cow Girl explained with a nervous look coming over her grinning face, as slowly found herself unable to keep herself from tracing her fingertips along his pectoral muscles through his shirt.

While Kaguya wasn't one to butt herself in between someone else's romance, she was on a tight time schedule, and the thought of awkwardly being in the same small shed while Cow Girl tried laying the moves on her champion wasn't something she really saw as necessary. "Your affairs are all in order, and we are packed with what we need to begin our investigation and shop for an appropriate weapon for you… We shouldn't waste anymore time; you and I have work that must be done, and it must be done as soon as possible," Kaguya urged, while getting annoyed at the way Cow Girl was looking at Goblin Slayer, as she slowly opened her eyelids while biting down on her lower lip; her strong hands squeezing down on his chest to grope him.

Reaching up to softly push Cow Girl's lustful hands away from his chest, Goblin Slayer smiled gently as he slowly turned around to face her, sitting down on his knees and shins, while she stared back at him with passion and excitement on her burning red face. "… I'm afraid that there isn't any time for that, Bethel: I have work to do." Goblin Slayer said with an amused look on his scarlet eyes, as Cow Girl averted her embarrassed gaze away from his.

"Uhhh…! S-Sorry about that, I, uh… I guess I just got carried awa- Ah, uhh~?!" Cow Girl trailed off with a surprised look in her heart-filled blue eyes, as Goblin Slayer reached up to grab her tightly by her chin, lifting her head up so that she was staring back at him with bated breath. With her heart racing and her throat becoming dry, Cow Girl was about to ask Goblin Slayer what he was doing when all of a sudden he pulled her closer to his face, as to dominantly press his lips against her agaped mouth.

Closing his eyes while hearing Cow Girl letting out a surprised and muffled gasp, Goblin Slayer could feel her warm breath traveling down into his mouth and against his face, as she remained frozen to the spot she had been kneeling at. Hearing her beginning to let out throaty whimpers into his throat, Goblin Slayer let out a relaxed and soft moan of his own as gently bit down on her lower lips.

Once she had finally processed what was going on, and that it intact wasn't just another one of her wet dreams she usually had of her childhood best friend, Cow Girl's whimpers grew louder and more lustful as she reached up with her trembling arms to wrap her hands around the back of Goblin Slayer's head; pulling his face closer to hers, as she submissively opened her mouth wide for him to begin sliding his tongue inside.

Moaning his name incoherently as their tongues began to brush up and wrap themselves around one another, Cow Girl could feel her panties beginning to get damp and warm as she felt Goblin Slayer's other hand reach down to grab her waist, all while his other hand was still grabbing ahold of her chin; taking what was rightfully his, and she was all the more willing to be his property, and his alone to dominant.

Exchanging warm saliva and beginning to suck on his tongue, just when Cow Girl was hoping that their make out session was would transpire into them getting their clothes off to explore one another's body, she found herself gasping as she felt Goblin Slayer pulling away from her wet lips; a thick gooey trail of saliva stretching out and bridging the gap between their spit-coated bottom lips, as they gazed into one another's eyes.

Having gotten extremely hot and bothered by Goblin Slayer's sudden initiative to take her by the mouth, Cow Girl was breathing hot air out of her mouth while staring longfully into his scarlet eyes, begging for him to take her right then and there. Which is why Cow Girl felt immediately heated up the moment she felt him going back in to kiss her, but instead of her her mouth Goblin Slayer gave her a soft peck on her crimson-red cheek, before letting go of her as he rose to his feet with Kaguya cradled in his arms.

Hornier than she had ever been, the first thing that popped in Cow Girl's mind was the realization that she was at face level with the silhouette of Goblin Slayer's impressively-sized manhood, which was throbbing out for her. Just as she reached up with her hands to try and yank his pants and underwear down to free his member, Goblin Slayer instead grabbed her hand and began to help her up. "That was all you get," Goblin Slayer said with a mildly entertained look in his eyes, while getting a frustrated glare from Cow Girl's sex-starved gaze.

"C-Come on, Eren: don't be like that! J-Just a peek; let me have just a look at it, pleeeeaassseee?!" Cow Girl begged impatiently, before attempting to reach out with her other hand to put her hand on his visible erection, only to have her perverted hand swiped away by Kaguya. "H-Hey! Don't make me put you back in your cage, little lady!" Cow Girl scolded with narrowed eyes, as she pointed her finger at the white horned rabbit; not knowing that she was belidding an ancient celestial being who was her elder by several hundred standards.

"You give a human an inch, and they take a mile… You should have just given her the peck on the cheek to begin with; what's the matter with you, Goblin Slayer?! Still feeling aroused from this morning, are you?!" Kaguya retorted, while openingly voicing her irritation over Goblin Slayer taking time out of their schedule by giving into his urge to kiss his childhood best friend.

Looking down at both Kaguya and Cow Girl with a mildly embarrassed and apologetic look on his face, Goblin Slayer let out a soft chuckle as he gently stroked the back of the horned rabbit's furry back with one hand. "My apologies," Goblin Slayer said, as to apologize to both women.

Huffing while crossing her arms over her plump breasts to cover her hardened nipples that were poking through her bra, Cow Girl pouted her bottom lip as she finally allowed herself to be lifted up by Goblin Slayer's strong hand. "Tch… Yeah, yeah, sure, whatever," the red haired woman muttered, while still feeling extremely sexually-frustrated as she did everything in her power to look Goblin Slayer in his eyes, rather than allowing her wandering eyes to take another glimpse down at what was clearly visible between his thighs. "J-Just know that you totally owe me when you get back, okay Eren~?! And don't think I'm gonna forget that either~!"

Feeling as though the apology was directed more at herself than Cow Girl, Kaguya turned her little rabbit nose up while giving Goblin Slayer a side glance. "Hmph… I suppose I could forgive you; you're a young man who's filled with testosterone, and simply the temptation of the flesh was too much for you to resist this time… It's… It's to be expected," Kaguya reasoned, while suddenly growing quiet as she averted her beady gaze away from him. "Just... Just don't make it a habit, understand? We've got a long journey ahead of us, and the last thing we need are distractions to make us complacent."

Not sure how he was supposed to feel after being told by Cow Girl that she was expecting sex from him when he got back from his quest, along with the bizarre sexual offer that Kaguya had proposed to him while still in her rabbit form, Goblin Slayer gave the two of them a deadpan look as he told the two of them "I see… I'll keep that in mind."

Before leaving the shed to finally make his way down into town, Goblin Slayer made sure to give Cow Girl a less sexually-provocative kiss on her lips, leaving her yearning for his return, as he promised once again to write to her while he was gone. Strapped in armor and putting on his helmet, Goblin Slayer made sure that Kaguya was nestled up on his shoulder, as she guided his path with her byakugan eyes; her Rinne Sharingan relaying the her foresight to him, as they entered into the ashy remains of the forest.

While they were walking through the woods of half-burned down trees and flora, a group of prospecting bandits who had been exploring the area for possible loot were positioned up in the treetops. Unfortunately for the bandits, the mental connection between Kaguya and Goblin Slayer had developed into something far greater than it was when they had been battling the Ancient Wyvern the night before; his reaction speed and reflexes amplified, thanks to Kaguya's growing bond with him.

So when the first bandit hoped down silently with his iron axe cocked back above and over his head as he descended down upon Goblin Slayer, the lowly scavenger was bewildered and horrified the moment he saw his target sidestepping and leaping up to pulled the weapon out of his hands; something that shouldn't have been possible by any normal means, because of the invisibility cloak the bandit had on.

With the disarmed weapon and Kaguya's powerful foresight and 360 degree x-ray vision, Goblin Slayer was able to take on an entire group of well-armed bandits all by himself, without so much as receiving a scratch and his tainted armor. Compared to dodging a herd of falling meteorites that exploded upon impact, as well as needing to time his usage of scrolls against the Ancient Wyvern initially, the group of thirty armed men weren't much of a challenge to him; especially since he already had experience winning battles in which he was greatly outnumbered by goblins.

It was only after he had finished splitting the skull of the bandit leader did Goblin Slayer realize that Kaguya had been feeding off of their souls with each kill he had gotten; appearing as though the horned rabbit was sucking out the blue ethereal energy from each and every body while he was looting their bodies for more coin. When asked about it, Kaguya merely told him that while she didn't need substance to survive, her nearly infinite amount of chakra had been sucked clean out of her when he found her in the woods the other night, which is what she needed in order to perform jutsu.

Justifying her questionably evil practices by reassuringly promising Goblin Slayer that she wouldn't feed off the life force of any fresh corpses that deserved to have a peaceful rest, such as innocent civilians or heroic adventurers, Kaguya was able to get her fill on souls for the time being. And although she was nowhere near replenishing even a fraction of the chakra she had lost, she certainly felt more energized after having feasted on the souls of the damned.

Without any use for the cloak of invisibility, or the silver katanas that he had gotten from the bandit's leader, after being told by Kaguya that the Ancient Wyvern didn't need its one-remaining eye to find him, and about how katanas were awful weapons to used against heavily armored opponents, Goblin Slayer settled on trading the two rare-leveled items for something more useful.

Once Goblin Slayer arrived at town, he immediately took notice of how jam-packed the building entrance of the Adventurer's Guild was; with lines forming outside the opened double doors, leading down its steps and down the sidewalk. However, even though he was glad to see that Guild Girl had a job to go back to, and that the surviving adventurers weren't dissuaded by the mass casualties of last night's incident, Goblin Slayer was saddened to see how busy the coroner's office was near the cemetery of freshly dug graves.

Finding the spot on a particular bench that Kaguya had instructed for him to sit at, Goblin Slayer didn't have to wait long until a passing party of gold-ranked adventurers noticed the rare loot that he was offering to sell. Goblin Slayer's charisma wasn't the greatest, and even though he had enough experience with shopping to get a general idea of how much the value of something was on the market, he lacked the bartering skills to successful haggle the prices of anything he had his eyes on. However, it was through Kaguya telling him what to say and how to say it that he was able to make a bigger profit off of his looted goods than he would have made by himself.

Even though it was obvious that he had ripped the begrudged adventurers off, all of which were all in shock of how they were even convinced to spend all that gold on items that didn't even need, Kaguya reassured Goblin Slayer that what he had done was justified, as they were going to be needing all the help they could get for their trip. Having always spent his money on extremely cheap quality gear that was meant to be easily disposable to him, it was an entirely new experience for Goblin Slayer to shell out coins for top-of-the-line equipment.

Not having realized that his years of frugal spending had turned him into a bit of a cheapskate, Goblin Slayer had turned his attention back to his horned rabbit companion, asking her quietly to help him smooth talk his way into getting a discount. With her ego appeased by having such a handsome man asking for her help, Kaguya instructed him to have his helmet off of his head when he went to the cashier of the camping store he was in.

With her once again guiding him on how to sound, what to say, and how to use his body language to butter up the woman working the store front, Goblin Slayer was able to get a considerable discount on the expensive camping gear that Kaguya told him that he would need. Needing to decline the proposed date that the cashier wanted to go on with him, Goblin Slayer proceeded to keep his helmet off as he and Kaguya repeated the same process of charming the female store clerks into giving him a better deal during check out; something that he wouldn't have done otherwise, had the situation not called for it.

By the time he had smoozed his way down to his last piece of copper, Goblin Slayer had a leather backpack filled with everything he would need to journey across the frontier, and beyond that; including a long and fortified spear made out of black ebony-metal. Fully prepared to take on whatever the journey had in store for him, Kaguya had Goblin Slayer keep his helmet tucked underneath his arm as he began questioning the town's witnesses of their account of where they last saw the Ancient Wyvern; something that they normally wouldn't have discussed with him, had he not taken his helmet off to speak to them.

At first, Goblin Slayer hated having to go around asking grieving families and his fellow adventurers without the cover of his helmet on; voicing how uneasy and uncomfortable it was for him to be out in public for so long without the one thing that he made him feel somewhat safe. However, in the words of Kaguya, Goblin Slayer needed to keep his helmet off in order to appear more personal to those who were devastated by the loses of yesterday; pointing out the importance of his eyes being visible to those who he was talking to.

After approximately thirty minutes of asking around town to make sure that everyone's story for the most part lined up with the information he had gotten throughout his investigation, Goblin Slayer was able to uncover that most of the survivors who saw the Ancient Wyvern invading the town all claimed to have seen it flying east of where the lake was up north. Having ran into fishermen and mountain-locals alike who lived near the lake in question, Goblin Slayer was able to finally get his first lead from those who saw the Ancient Wyvern flying through the eastern mountains; tall and treacherous rocky formations covered in snow, that were a week's worth of walking to even get to.

Although Goblin Slayer had been expecting the journey to be difficult, it would have been a lie if he would have tried to claim that he had been expecting for his first lead to be so far away. Stiffening his resolution, Goblin Slayer made sure to swing by the nearby well to get a drink of refreshing cold water, before heading out of town to begin his expedition through the mountain range that few ever survived crossing.

Having expected for journey to be a great time to bond with Goblin Slayer all to herself, Kaguya's still flustered mind was busy thinking impure thoughts as she gazed up into his scarlet eyes; getting lost in them as he concentrated on reading the atlas book filled with detailed maps in his hands. Trying to imagine ways how she could convince him to give her the same attention she saw him giving to Cow Girl before their departure, it wasn't until Kaguya picked up on someone running toward them from sixty-meters back where town was did she snap out of her lustful thoughts.

"Your helmet… Y-Your helmet! You left your helmet behind!" Kaguya practically shouted, as her bunny eyes grew wide and panicked. Having gotten so distracted by allowing herself to fantasize about her champion, Kaguya had completely lost track of her when he last left his helmet. "Someone's approaching us, and… It's a very young woman, armored skirt, long auburn-red hair and a yellow headband… Interesting sword she has sheathed, an- Oh! She's coming to give you your helmet; you should stop walking and greet her appropriately," Kaguya instructed, and watched as Goblin Slayer marked the map he had been looking at, before closing the book and sliding it into his back leather pouch.

Turning around to where he heard the sound of fast footsteps heading toward him, Goblin Slayer waved a calm and friendly hand to where none other than the tenth platinum-ranked adventurer was sprinting toward him with his helmet in her hands.

"Goblin Slayer! Hey, you forgot your helmet!" The short and petite young woman shouted with vigor in her apricot-colored eyes. Running over to him without any signs telling him that she had pushed herself during her entire sprint over to him, the young woman smiled a big toothy grin at Goblin Slayer, as she extended her arms out to present to him his helmet. "I went to the tavern about twenty minutes, and then saw this on one of the tables! They were actually gonna throw it away, but I recognized it the moment I saw it! I went over there, asked around and, well, here we are!"

"I see... Thank you, I appreciate it," Goblin Slayer said with a thankful look on his face, which Hero caught herself gazing at for a little longer than she had expected to.

"O-Of course! We adventurers gotta stick together, right?" Hero mused, and as handed the helmet back to him, it was then that she took an interest in the strange little rabbit with two horns, who was staring back at her with three eyes. "Wow, is that a really rabbit!? Where did you find this little strange creature at?! I've NEVER seen anything like it before!" Hero exclaimed, while not even trying to hide her childish envy as she ogled at Kaguya's Rinne-Sharigan. "Is it girl? It looks like a girl... I bet she's a girl."

Putting the helmet back on so he wouldn't lose it, Goblin Slayer gave one glance over to Kaguya, gauging just how indeed strange and alien she looked, before finally coming up with an honest way of telling Hero a half-truth. "Her name is "Rabbit Goddess". I found her while getting chased into the woods by the Ancient Wyvern. You could consider her my greatest asset right now, as it helped me manage to survive my one-on-one encounter with the wretched beast, before it flew away like the coward it was," Goblin Slayer explained, and watched as Hero's curious gaze widened once more into a look of pure astonishment.

"Oh wait, are you serious?! That was YOU who everybody was talking about?!" Hero asked with a look of excitement and disbelief in her voice. "No way! I thought your whole thing was JUST goblins?! Huh, and here I thought you would have NEVER branched out of that! But, I guess it makes sense now: even though there's no more goblins, you've got a put bread on the table somehow, am I right?" Hero mused playfully, while leaning in closer to pet Kaguya on her nose. "I really like Rabbit Goddess... Think I could find another one that looks like her?"

"... Most likely not," Goblin Slayer answered truthfully, while feeing Kaguya involuntarily thumping her foot against his armor pad, just from the way she was getting scratched in the right spot by Hero. "... Again, thank you for bringing my helmet back to me; I am very grateful," Goblin Slayer said with a respectful nod of his head. "Unfortunately, I don't have the time to enjoy a conversation with you about last night. I have a long journey ahead of me," Goblin Slayer explained, as he turned around to begin walking back in the direction he had been originally heading. "Stay safe Hero, and continue to do good where you are needed," Goblin Slayer said as his parting words, before reaching into his leather pouch to pull out the atlas book he had been using to navigate with Kaguya.

Blinking at the back of Goblin Slayer's back as she stood in place for a few moments, soon enough Hero began following behind him with an excited smile across her wide lips. "Yeah, uh... H-Hey Goblin Slayer, you wouldn't happen to be hunting down that Ancient Wyvern you fought last night, would ya?"

"That's exactly what I'm trying to do, yes," Goblin Slayer said in a focused voice, as he was too busy with listening to Kaguya's voice to pay much mind to Hero's intrusive questions. "This is a quest that I've got to do alone, however. Return home, where you are needed the most," Goblin Slayer said in an authoritative voice, after being tipped off by Kaguya's all seeing eyes that Hero was still following closely behind him.

Waving her hand at him while blowing a playful raspberry, Hero snickered as she raised her arms up to interlace her fingers behind her head full of red-auburn hair. "No, that's okay! I think it might be best if I come along with ya! It gets lonely on the road, doesn't it?"

Not wanting to bring Hero along with him, as the point of him traveling alone was to keep others safe from a danger that none of them seemed equipped to deal with, Goblin Slayer wanted to dissuade the teenager from wanting to travel with him. "Where's the rest of your party? Surely you would prefer their company, instead of mine? I'm not… Very good at conversation, sometimes, and I… I can be a little bit awkward, wouldn't you say?" Goblin Slayer asked, as he continued to dedicate most of his focus on following the map.

Laughing half-heartedly, Hero shrugged her petite shoulders while grinning smugly at the back of Goblin Slayer's helmet. "Who? Sage and Sword Saint? They went to go check up on their family, just like everyone else is doing right now," Hero said with an understanding look in her apricot-colored eyes, before shrugging again as she let out a humorous sigh. "But not us, huh?! The only family we have is our friends! So it's our job to keep them safe, by eliminating the bad guys responsible for all of this mess! Oh… And by the way, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself; I think you're a pretty cool guy, Goblin Slayer!"

"Thank you, that's... Kind of you to say," Goblin Slayer replied back with a hesitate voice, while trying to think of something else to say to get Hero to leave him be. "I appreciate you wanting to come along, but I can't help but to notice that you didn't bring any supplies with you. It's going to be a long journey; seven days of walking, just to get to the Eastern Mountain alone."

Realizing that what he said was indisputable, as it was apparent that she didn't have anything on her that would warrant her to travel along side him, Hero's eyes widened as a shocked look came over her youthful face. "Oh shoot, you're right...! I just I'm just so used to Sage being the one who's responsible for all the logistics and whatnot, that I didn't even think about until you said something. Uh... I... I guess that I should turn back and- Oh, wait! I see that you've spent a pretty coin on all that stuff you got packed in there! Looks like there should be enough for both of us to get by!" Hero pointed out with a suggestive tone in her voice, as she smiled optimistically at him. "Problem solved! I'm pretty small, so I can fit in the tent with you, and I'm comfortable with sharing a sleeping bag with you whenever it gets cold... Yeah, I think that'll work out, don't you think?"

"… If I say no, would you stop following me?" Goblin Slayer asked with a mildly annoyed sigh, to which made the tomboyish girl laugh out loud.

"No way! You're being too modest again; I just know it'll work for sure!" Hero reassured, while completely being oblivious to what Goblin Slayer was trying to imply with his last question.

"I see… Alright then... I suppose you're coming along after all," Goblin Slayer said, while caving in. Hearing Hero cheering for herself in an optimistic and playful manner, Goblin Slayer was able to see through his connection with Kaguya's byakugan eyes that she was celebrating with a victory dance, which was something that the celestial being found amusing.

"Oh, she absolutely knew what she was doing... You feel right into her hands like clay, Goblin Slayer," Kaguya said teasingly, while finding herself beginning to like the way that Hero carried herself, and didn't take no for an answer. "Huh... Clever girl."
