here's the next chapter. Like I said before I use google translate for this so sorry for any mistakes. And I have no clue about medical stuff. I made some research to find out more about the process to wake up from induced coma so I decided to go with what I read and saw in different TV Shows:D.

"Happy birthday, sweetheart" says Rachel and hugs her daughter. "From me too honey" says Mike and hugs her too and gives her a kiss.
"Here's your gift, but you can't open it until everyone is here, okay and another one is coming later?"
"Thank you" she says and looks at them a little sad.
"What is it honey?"
"Aunt Donna isn't coming either?" she asks
"Yes, yes, of course she's coming. She was just visiting uncle Harvey. She'll be here soon. She would never miss your birthday on purpose" Rachel answers
"okay" she says with a smile and goes to play with her friends.
It's Saturday and it's Lucy's seventh birthday. Rachel has tried to set it up as nicely as possible for her, so that at least today a little bit of normality returns. It's been three days since Huntley attacked Harvey and it's been the longest day of thier lives so far. Dr. Grey wanted to put him in an artificial coma for a week first, but Harvey hasn't shown any improvement yet, his condition hasn't changed. But the good thing is that it hasn't deteriorated either.
Harvey's cases have been taken over by his friends so he won't have to worry about them when he wakes up.
Donna would like to be with him 24/7, but is not allowed to because of the visiting hours and because the others also want to visit him.
Marcus and Lilly have to go back to Boston tomorrow so today they are with Harvey while Donna, MIke and Rachel are celebrating Lucy's birthday. But before that Donna wanted to go to him to assure him that she'd come back tomorrow.
"Aunt Donna!" shouts Lucy and runs towards her
"Hey honey, I wish you a happy birthday and all the best" She kisses her on both cheeks. "This is for you" she says and gives her her present.
"Wow, that's big," she says, eyes wide. "I can't wait to open it"
"Hey Donna" Rachel hugs her, "how is Harvey?"
"no change" she says and fills a glass of cherry juice.
After Lucy opens all the presents and the party is over, reality returns in the Zane-Ross home.
Lucy got the crayons she had wanted for so long from her parents and a red bicycle without training wheels.
"I'm gonna practice enough so I can show uncle Harvey when he's well," she says with a big smile.
Donna gave her a doll to do her hair with all the accessories.
"You are the best, Aunt Donna. Mommy look at that" she says enthusiastically. "Now Julia can't mock me anymore because she has one and I don't" she says happily.
There were also many games, stuffed animals and Barbie dolls from friends.
Later, the three realize that Lucy is withdrawing while she's looking at her presents.
"Lucy, what's wrong you, sweetie? Are you okay?" asks Rachel
The little girl lifts her head and looks at her "Is uncle Harvey mad at me?" she asks with teary eyes.
"What? No! Why do you think that?" She asks and goes to her kneeling in front of her.
"Daddy said I can't call or visit him because he's sick and needs a lot of rest. But you all went to see him and I thought he was mad at me for infecting him.
"What?"
"I went to his office to invite him to my birthday party and I was sick and now he's sick. I thought..."
"no, honey" says Mike "come here" he takes her on his lap.
"Look, it has nothing to do with you." Mike looks at Rachel, who nods in agreement.
"Look, there was a bad man in uncle Harvey's office who wanted to hurt me and him. But uncle Harvey prevented that, so the bad man only hurt him."
"He protected you?"
"yeah" says mike softly.
"will he be ok?"
"He needs to sleep a lot, just like you did when you were sick. But he needs to sleep more. That's why the doctors give him medication so he can sleep for a long time until he gets better. And as soon as he's better, they wake him up"
„Will the bad man try to hurt him again or you?" she looks at him.
„No, he is in jail. He can't hurt no one anymore. Never again" he says reassuringly
"And why can't I visit him? I would also be very quiet, I promise. Daddy, he also visited me when I was sick and … I miss him" she says with tears in her eyes. Mike looks at Rachel again with a look that says "we should allowed her to see him" and she nods.
"Okay" says MIke, "you can visit him tomorrow. But you have to be as quite as possible, okay?"
"Thank you, daddy." She jumps up and hugs him.
"I'll go into my room and draw a picture for him with my new crayons" she says, eyes shining, and runs toward her room.
"Lucy wait" says Donna and she comes back.
"Here, this is uncle Harvey's present. I wanted him to give it to you himself but I think you should open it now."
The little girl is confused when Donna gives her an envelope. When she opens it she looks a little disappointed "what's that?" she asks.
"This is a ticket for Disney Land" says Donna with a smile and Lucy doesn't know how to react. A huge grin covers her face. "uncle Harvey is the best" she yells.
"What about our presents?" ask all three in canon.
"They were great, too" Lucy adds quickly but this one is the bestest." She says and makes them laughs. They love those mistakes she still makes while speaking.
"And you get to choose who you go with," adds Donna, although Harvey bought tickets for everyone. She just wants to know whom she'd choose.
"That's easy" she says without thinking "I'll go with uncle Harvey"
"What?" asks Mike "What about me?"
"sorry dad, I love you but it's his present and he promised me that we'll go there together." and then she turns and leaves the room.
… … …
"Lucy, come on now, we have to go!" says Mike and the little girl already runs towards him.
"What are you doing with the teddy?" Rachel asks confused.
"I'll give it to uncle Harvey so the teddy can protect him from the bad man when he's alone" Rachel and Mike look at each other and smile.
"But honey, you can't sleep without it and the bad man's in jail" says Rachel
"I'll take another stuffed animal until uncle Harvey is well. He always told me that he gave it to me to protect me or to make me well. Now he needs his help."
„you're the best godchild in the world" says Mike smiling "now, come on. Let's go"
Meanwhile in the hospital
"Hey Harvey," Donna says, sitting in the chair next to his bed. "Guess who's coming to visit you today" She waits for a moment "Lucy... she misses you incredibly and convinced us all that she can visit you. She missed you very much at her birthday party yesterday." says Donna and strokes his arm "we all did. We all miss you so much. I miss you" she says. "You have no idea how much" she adds quietly and cannot stop her tears again.
She has cried so much in the past few days that she didn't know it was even possible. And she's so tired, but she can't sleep for more than an hour without waking up, only to lie awake for hours before she drifts off again.
Then a knock on the door.
Lucy enters the room. She stops when she sees Harvey.
"Daddy what is this" she asks a little scared and points to the ventilator.
"It helps him breathe better so he heals faster" says Mike, wondering if bringing her here was a mistake after all. She thinks about it for a few seconds. Then she walks towards him and puts her hand on his underarm..
"Hey uncle Harvey, I am missing you so much" she says sadly. "Can you please get well soon?" She pauses "I brought you something, but the doctor took it to clean it. She'll bring it to you later. It's my teddy bear you gave me. I'll lend it to you until you're well, so he can take care of you."
Later, Mike is alone in the room with Harvey when Rachel and Donna take Lucy to get lunch.
„Hey buddy, I just talked to Marcus, he greets you and says I should tell you that he'll come as soon as he can again… and your mom, too. You know, I didn't really like her but I noticed that she really cares about you and that she loves you. I hope that you'll notice it too when you're awake and that you can forgive her. She's really sorry and regrets it what she did to you"
A week after the attack
"Morning Dr. Grey, how is Harvey?"
"Morning Ms. Paulsen" says Dr. Gray with a smile "Mr Specter's condition has not developed as hoped, but he is doing a little better. We had planned to be in an induced coma for a week, but it would be too soon to wake him up. His body is still too weak for it, it would be too risky. We will continue to guard him closely and when we are sure he is strong enough, we will wake him up."
"How long can this take?" asks Mike
"It's really hard to say, Mr. Ross. It's different for every patient. Mr. Specter had a very severe abdominal injury and lost a lot of blood, he also had two cardiac arrests, it was too much for his body."
"But he'll be fine, right?" asks Donna anxiously.
"Like I said, his condition hasn't improved much but he's a little better and before this doesn't take another direction you shouldn't be thinking about anything else than he's gonna be fine" she gives them a nod and leaves.
Three weeks after the attack
It's been three weeks now and Harvey is still in an induced coma. Dr Gray said yesterday that she wants to wait another day just to be sure. Donna knows it's for Harvey's best and that Dr. Gray is a corryphaee, but she could have killed her for saying that.
The three weeks without Harvey were hell for everyone. Jessica didn't know how much one can miss someone and Louis still suffered from what he had said to him the last time they argued. Rachel has wanted to run into his office so many times to ask his advice, only to be reminded that he's not there. Mike missed Harvey, he missed the quote exchange with him, the cases they shared and he even missed arguing with him. And Donna... she was a wreck. She had been working on the table in front of his office for over a decade and they had been together almost every day since they met, and suddenly he was gone and she was afraid he 'd never come back.
"Hey buddy you gotta try a little harder you know. I miss you and I could really use your help on a case. Working with the other partners is horrible you know? they're so boring and they don't know a single movie quote. Louis tries but..." Mike laughs "...he's really bad" but he's worried too, I'm sure he told you that when he was here the other day. The worst thing is he recently quoted from a romance film "Mike laughs"...I really had no idea what he was talking about, I wonder if anyone else watched that movie besides him. I almost fell asleep with the description alone" Mike's laughter fades
"You really have to come back, Harvey. I can't lose someone I care about again... someone I love.
When Donna enters Harvey's room two day later she finds Dr. Gray in there.
"Morning Ms. Paulsen" says Dr. Grey
"Is he okay? You've never been here so early" Donna looks scared at her
"yeah, everything's fine. I have good news. I've been tracking his stats for the past two days now so I can be sure and his condition is improving . It's stable enough now to wake him up."
"You really sure?" asks Donna with teary eyes, still hesitant to be happy.
"Yes, I waited the extra two days to make sure. He's ready."
"OMG" says Donna and hugs Dr. Grey. "Thank you" she says relieved. "I... I am sorry. I am just so happy" she says and breaks the hug.
"It's okay. We're gonna reduce the medication now. But It'll take time until he awakes."
"How long?"
"That's hard to say 'cause It's different for every patient. Some patients take more time, others wake up faster. It can take days, but it can also take weeks."
"weeks?" asks Donna shocked
"His coma was very deep, and very long. But remember, he's getting better, he'll wake up soon and that's a good thing."
A few minutes later, Donna calls Mike and breaks the news.
"That's great, Donna" says Mike and hangs up. "He'll be fine" says Mike to himself "he'll be fine"
10 days later
"Hey uncle Harvey," says Lucy
"Don't you think you've had enough sleep?" she asks. "I really miss you" She is just getting on the chair when Mike comes in.
"Lucy!" Mike yells quetly "what the hell are you doing?"
"I wanted to give him a-kiss" whispers Lucy, lowering her head. Mike breathes in and out and walks over to herr. He picks her up so she can kiss Harvey on his forehead. When Mike lets her down again, she takes his hand.
"Please wake up soon, okay?" Lucy begs and carefully puts his hand back on the bed.
Lucy knows that the doctors are trying to wake him up now cause he's doing better and that it is up to him now to decide when he wakes up.
And then all of a sudden Harvey moves his index finger.
"Daddy!" screams Lucy
"Lucy, what the..."
"He moved his finger," she says excitedly.
"What?"
"Yeah, when I put his hand on the bed, he put his finger up."
"you sure?" asks Mike
"Yeah, I'm telling you"
"Harvey? Hey can you hear me?". Mike puts his hands in his shoulder and shakes him softly. "I'll get a doctor. Stay here and take care if he moves again" Mike says rushing outa the door.
"okay" she says starring at Harvey's hand.
… … …
"He's waking up. You just have to be patient" Dr. Grey says smiling at them.
"Can he hear us now?" asks Mike
"Maybe, sometimes. He probably heard her" she says and looks at Lucy. "You did a great job" says Dr. Gray and fondles her head and Lucy is bursting with happiness.
Donna stays with Harvey for the next 12 hours. She stays there and talks to him all afternoon until late at night. Eventually she dozes off. She's a little frustrated because Harvey isn't responding anymore – she's not mad at him, but to the situation.
It's still dark when Donna wakes up. Only the small lamp on the dining table that she brought there gives off some light.
"Come on Harvey, please" she tells him and takes his hand "I've waited too long."
And then suddenly Donna sees an eye movement.
"Harvey? Hey, Harvey, can you hear me?" she jumps off the chair but no answer.
And then she feels a light pressure in her hand. It's barely there, but it's there.
"Harvey, please," Donna begs
And then she sees Harvey trying to open his eyes. He blinks a few times until he can hold them open.
"omg, harvey" Donna cries "omg...hey" she says "Dont … don't try to talk okay? You're still on ventilator. I… I'll get a doctor. I'll be right back"
Donna rushes to the door and stops. She walks back and looks Harvey in the eye. "Welcome back" she says with a smile, kisses his cheek which is a bit difficult due to the ventilator and rushes out.
While Dr Grey is running some tests and removing the ventilator, Donna informs her friends about the news.
