Author's Note: You! Are! Amazing! TW for bullying, panic attack, and references to abuse. You are loved!

Urgwaew: Hi, my love! Thanks so much for reviewing and for the amazingly kind and generous words! I appreciate you so, so much! I'm glad life will settle down for you! You deserve a rest! And I know! Harry trusts SO much! I mean, I guess I would too if Remus Lupin was my therapist? :) Anyway, yes! That sounds like such a fun one-shot, especially with Albus and little Harry! Oh! So cute! so much fluff! I'll have to write it! I like to write Harry child-like because I feel like he lost so much of it so sometimes he acts like a little kid, but I think it's his inner child finally feeling safe enough to come out, you know? Anyway, you are amazing, spectacular, and oh-so-loved! Thanks again!

Summary of this chapter: Harry, Sirius, and Remus return from their trip. All went well for a few weeks until some Slytherin students corner Harry in the hallway. Harry acts, well, like a Gryffindor.

Harry was flourishing after his time away with Sirius and Remus. He was in good spirits, having fruitful therapy sessions, doing exceedingly well in school, hanging out with his friends, and making time for his numerous lessons and overprotective guardians and grandparents. Sirius and Remus saw the "old" Harry for the weeks following their excursion and were so happy to see Harry doing so well.

Of course, all good things must come to an end.

About 3 weeks after they returned from their trip, Harry was heading to Professor Lupin's office for his weekly therapy session. When he got there, there was a note on the door.

Harry scanned it and bit back a sigh before walking out of the waiting room. Professor Lupin was dealing with an emergency right now and all appointments were to be rescheduled and emergencies are to be redirected. Harry didn't mind that his appointment was going to be rescheduled, but he felt bad for whatever witch or wizard was in there. He, of course, didn't know why they were in there, but when Remus had an emergency the poor soul was never exactly stable at that moment (Harry knew from first hand experiences).

Harry turned the corner out of the waiting room and wasn't even able to take 5 steps when a voice rang out from behind him.

"What are you doing, leaving the counselor's office, Potter?" The voice teased, chuckling maliciously.

Harry gritted his teeth and slowly turned toward the voice. It was two sixth year Slytherins.

"He's one of my dads. It's not a surprise that I say hi to him occasionally. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to see a professor."

Harry turned around and took some deep breaths, just wanting to get away from the boys. However, the boys stepped in front of Harry, effectively stopping him from going any further. Harry turned around to try to go the other way, but there was a Slytherin back there, too.

Harry sighed and turned to face the first two bullies. "What?" He asked wearily. He was doing so well and didn't want to rock the boat.

"Why did you want to see Professor Lupin?"

Harry sighed and rolled his eyes. "I just did, okay? He's my dad."

Harry pushed past them now and kept walking.

"Are you all messed up?" One of them cooed.

"If Voldemort was after you, I think you'd be, too," Harry added dryly, not bothering to look back.

Apparently, that was not the right thing to say. The boys got in front of Harry again. "Don't speak about The Dark Lord in that way!" One hissed, getting close to Harry's face.

This didn't phase Harry at all. Please, he's faced Voldemort. He can handle 16 year old Slytherins. He just rolled his eyes and ducked under their arms to keep walking, trying to make it to an office or common room. He didn't need trouble from these losers.

"Maybe it's not how messed up Harry is, but how messed up Lupin is!"

Harry froze, clenching his fists. He closed his eyes and opened them, turning around.

"Look, you can insult me all you'd like, but don't you dare talk about my dad like that," Harry said coldly.

The boys smirked, realizing they touched a nerve. "He's a werewolf. A half-breed. He's not your father or even a man."

Harry's blood ran cold. "He's more of a man than you will ever be," Harry hissed, his eyes full of fire.

One boy chuckled coldly. "My parents told me all about yours."

Harry recognized him now, the last name was Briggs. He'd heard about his parents from Sirius and Remus, nasty people they were. He didn't say anything in reply, just glared at the boy.

Brigs continued to taunt Harry. "Your parents were good for nothing and your mutt and half-breed godparents are just as bad. Your mudblood mother-"

Harry couldn't take it anymore. He punched Briggs square in the nose, hard. He punched the other boy who was next to him and kicked the other one behind him, knocking them all to the ground. He then pulled out his wand and waved it. He immobilized the other boys before they could even react. He then changed their hair color and then ropes shot out of his wand, tying them up.

"Don't insult my parents ever again. They're some of the greatest people who ever lived and I won't let complete arseholes like you three let their names even come out of your mouth," Harry hissed coldly, his face set like stone.

Harry waved his wand again and all three boys' mouths were zippered and they looked at Harry in fear. Harry just stood there, a cold expression on his face. He wasn't going to do anything else to them but was full of rage.

"IMMOBILUS!" A voice called out, and Harry felt himself freeze.

"Harry Potter! What is going on?!"

Oh no. Harry knew that voice. That wasn't good.

Harry would've gulped, but he was frozen.

Minerva McGonagall swept into view. "What do you think you're doing?" She asked, leaving her wand and releasing the three boys from the ropes, but keeping them in place.

Harry felt himself unfreeze and said, "Professor! They started it! They kept teasing me. I tried to ignore it but they brought my family into it. They said horrible things," Harry shot a fierce glare at them.

Minerva pursed her lips. Inwardly she knew that Harry would always speak out for his family and she couldn't fault him for that, but she certainly couldn't let it slide as a professor.

"Follow me. All of you," Minerva ordered.

Harry and the Slytherins reluctantly followed Minerva to the Gargoyle and into Dumbledore's office.

"Ah, Professor McGonagall. To what do I owe this pleasure?" Dumbledore asked, ignoring the suling boys behind her.

"I found these four brawling in the corridors. I believe Severus should be here as well to hear their stories."

"Indeed. Please, go fetch him. I will chat with these three as we wait," Dumbledore said, giving Minerva a warm smile.

She looked at him sternly before exiting to get Severus. Dumbledore's face became less warm and much more professor-like. He felt himself shrink under the professor's piercing gaze and looked away. He hated disappointing his grandfather.

"I am rather interested to hear what happened. I know that all of you are old enough to know that fighting in the corridors is strictly forbidden."

Harry felt his heart drop.

"Before you explain, can someone please tell me who started this?"

"They did!" Harry said at the exact same time as the Slytherins pointed at Harry.

"Ah, I see we are at an impasse," Dumbledore murmured, leaning back and stroking his beard.

Snape and Minerva came in shortly after. Snape looked livid and Minerva was not far from it.

"What was so important to take me away from my work?" Severus snapped, glaring at all of them.

"They were found fighting in the corridors," Dumbledore supplied.

"So I heard. Besides the fact that this was horribly tasteless, what was so important about this?"

"We found Mr. Potter having all of them bound and hexed. We don't know what happened," Minerva said.

"It sounds like it's Potter's fault," Snape snarled. Harry knew Snape was playing a part but it still hurt and Harry couldn't help but flinch.

"Why don't we hear their stories before we place blame, hm?" Dumbledore offered before returning his gaze to the boys.

"Mr. Briggs, please go first," Dumbledore said, extending his hand.

Harry felt his blood boil. A gizmo on Dumbledore's desk shook a little and no one seemed to notice except Dumbledore. He quickly made eye contact with Harry and Harry forced himself to make eye contact with him. As the headmaster looked at him, Harry saw the mask he wore as the headmaster, but deep in his blue eyes, Harry saw warmth that only was reserved for him. Harry forced himself to take deep breaths and the rattling stopped. Dumbledore gave Harry a very small, barely noticeable approving nod and turned back to Briggs who was speaking.

"Potter started it. He was walking around like he owned the place. We just wanted to get to class. We walked by him and then all of a sudden he tied us up and hexed us! He punched us, too!"

"That's not true!" Harry shouted, standing up.

"You didn't punch them?" McGonagall asked, finding that unbelievable with the bloody noses he saw.

"Well," Harry said, sitting back down. "That part is true."

"What is your side of the story, Mr. Potter?" Dumbledore asked, turning his gaze to the fiery fifth year.

Harry took a deep breath and said, "I was leaving Professor Lupin's office when I saw them. I was just checking in with him since he is my dad-"

All the adults knew that that wasn't true, but they also knew that it was no one's business who saw the therapist and who didn't.

"- and they started teasing me about it. I kept trying to leave. They kept insulting me and cornering me. I kept trying to get away. Then they insulted my family and I won't stand by that!" Harry said with his face like stone.

"I see," Dumbledore said, clasping his hands.

"We're clearly the victims here," Briggs said, grabbing more tissues for his nose.

"I'm not lying!" Harry protested.

"What was said, Mr. Potter?" Dumbledore asked gently.

Harry paused before shaking his head. "They said horrible things. I-I don't want to repeat most of them."

"It appears we are at a standstill. There is no reason for my Slytherins to be here," Snape said, trying to leave.

"But they said terrible things!" Harry said, standing up.

"There's no proof," one of the Slytherins said, smirking under the tissues.

Harry paused before lighting up. "My memory! I can show you my memory of it!"

The faces of all three Slytherins fell. They clearly weren't expecting that.

"A clever idea, Mr. Potter. Do you consent to this?" Dumbledore asked, leaning forward.

"Yes, Sir," Harry replied, nodding.

"Very well," Dumbledore got up. He grabbed a vial and went near Harry. "Think of the memory," he reminded him softly.

Shortly after, Dumbledore extracted the memory and the Slytherin boys were panicking. "It- uh, no! It could be tampered with!" One thought.

Even Severus raised his eyebrow at that. "While I wouldn't put it past Mr. Potter of tampering a memory, we saw it extracted and put into the Pensieve. It was not tampered with," Snape said reluctantly.

Harry rolled his eyes. He didn't even know how to tamper with a memory.

"Minerva, if you wouldn't mind watching them and then seeing the memory after Severus and myself, I would appreciate it," Dumbledore said.

"Certainly," Minerva agreed, nodding. "Someone has to watch these children,"

Harry winced at the Scottish accent heard in his grandmother's voice. Boy was she angry.

Dumbledore and Snape leaned in and disappeared. A minute later they returned. Dumbledore's eyes were void of the twinkle and Snape did not look happy either.

"Briggs, Thurston, Gardner, come with me," Severus ordered coldly.

The boys nervously stood up and followed the irate potions professor out of the office. This now left Dumbledore, Harry, and Minerva.

"Please, view the memory now, Minerva," Dumbledore said, gesturing.

Minerva nodded and walked toward the Pensieve and then disappeared. Dumbledore turned his eyes on Harry. He waved his wand, setting up a silencing charm.

"Before I say anything else, are you okay?"

Harry bit his lip and looked away. "I'm angry."

Dumbledore nodded. "I can understand that. How else do you feel?"

"Mostly just angry," Harry replied through gritted teeth.

Dumbledore leaned back and waited for Harry to elaborate.

It took several moments but Harry eventually said, "Angry. Hurt. Disappointed."

"And why disappointed?" Dumbledore asked.

Harry sighed and looked away. "I know I shouldn't have punched him. I didn't want to disappoint you and Moony Da and Dadfoot and Grandma Min."

Albus nodded.

"I just couldn't let them say those horrible things!"

"They are horrible things," Minerva agreed, her Scottish accent even thicker after returning from the memory.

Harry turned his head to look at the woman who was speaking. "But fighting is never the answer."

Harry sighed and let his head hang."I'm in trouble aren't I?"

"There will be repercussions for your actions, yes," Minerva confirmed.

Harry clenched his fists and pulled his knees towards him.

"But right now, we are here for you," Minerva said, her voice softening. Harry looked up in surprise and saw the look on Minerva's face. He knew that expression. "Grandma Min?"

Minerva gave him a warm smile. She sat down next to him and opened up her arms, inviting Harry to lean into her. Harry did just that and Minerva stroked his hair. "Oh, my little lion," She said softly.

"I was so angry. I didn't mean to disappoint you," Harry whispered.

"Hush now. I love you every second of every day," Minerva said, continuing to stroke his head. They stayed like that for quite a while. Dumbledore even got up and left the room. After an extended amount of time, Minerva began to speak, "Harry, Love?"

"Hm?" Harry replied softly, much more calmed down and soothed by his grandmother.

"Professor Dumbledore is going to be coming back in here with your parents soon," Minerva said.

Harry stiffened up and couldn't help but let a whine escape from his mouth.

"Hush. They have to know what happened. We'll have to be staff members for a little bit, but later on, we can go back to being your grandparents, alright? It will be okay. I promise."

Harry nodded and said, "Yes, Ma'am." He sat up and sighed, a dejected look on his face.

"What's that look for? It's not going to be that bad," Minerva said softly, giving Harry a gentle "love touch" (two-finger caress) on his face.

"You don't know how angry my dads can get."

"Oh yes I do," Minerva countered. "I taught and basically helped raise them for years. I've known them since they were 11. Yes, I do in fact know how angry they can get."

Harry shrugged. She had a point.

"Harry," Minerva said, gently moving Harry's face so he was looking at her. "You've done some fool-hardy things during your life and I've seen your parents get angry. I can honestly say that this is not something you have to worry about too much."

"Really?" Harry asked, a tiny seed of hope being planted in his chest.

"Really. I tend to remember once or twice when they, too, defended their family," Minerva said smirking.

Harry allowed a small smile to appear on his face. That was true. Sirius and Remus were fierce protectors of their loved ones.

"Thank you, Grandma, Min," Harry whispered.

"Of course, my little lion," Minerva replied, kissing his forehead. As she pulled away, the door opened and Dumbledore, Sirius, and Remus all came through the door.

Remus and Sirius hurried towards Harry, and Remus knelt down, carefully examining Harry's face. "I'm physically alright, Moony Da. I'm feeling better after Grandma Min talked to me. Don't worry."

Remus leaned back and said, "Well, we'll see about that."

"Now, Harry can explain what happened, but we have the memory if you'd like to view it. He can talk about it later- if that's alright," Dumbledore offered.

Sirius and Remus noticed. They knew Harry was calmed down and didn't want to get him all riled up again.

"I'll stay here," Minerva offered as Dumbledore, Sirius, and Remus leaned into the Pensieve.

"How's your practice coming alone?" Minerva asked while they were gone.

A ghost of a smile showed up on Harry's face. "Well, I think. I haven't transformed any other part of my body, but I have that same arm."

"That's wonderful! I am so proud of you. Once you have done one part, the rest comes easier, I promise."

Harry nodded, believing her.

Remus, Sirius, and Albus soon came back out of Pensieve. Albus was calm, having already seen the scene. Remus and Sirius looked torn. Minerva stood up now and brushed off her robes, going into Professor Mode.

"Harry, you know fighting is never the answer," Remus said sternly.

"I know," Harry replied, hanging his head.

"And hexing out of anger is not a road anyone should go down," Sirius added, also sternly.

"I know," Harry replied again.

"Harry," Dumbledore said, causing Harry to look up at the headmaster. "You know the rules of Hogwarts. You know that fighting and hurting people is not what we should do. I am not excusing what they said, but you did not make the right choices."

Harry sighed angrily. "Then what should I have done?! They wouldn't let me by! I couldn't even go get someone!" Harry protested.

Dumbledore was quiet for a moment. "They were not originally letting you through, true. Near the end they did, but that's when they insulted your family. In the future, try to send a message to one of us and we will come."

"I haven't even been taught yet how to do that with a Patronus," Harry pointed out, slightly annoyed.

"Well, we know what our next lesson will be, then," Dumbledore said, smiling.

Harry sighed, irritated. "I don't know what else I could've done!"

Sirius spoke up now. "Harry, even if you did have to restrain them, you didn't have to punch them and hex them. You could have immobilized them and gotten a professor or had someone else fetch one."

Harry wanted to argue, but Sirius was right. Harry nodded, calming down.

Minerva took this as her turn to speak. "Mr. Potter," Harry lifted his head up and looked at the formidable woman. "Fighting is not acceptable at Hogwarts. 25 points from Gryffindor for your behavior and you will be serving detention with me 3 times. One for each of the Slytherins."

"Yes, Ma'am," Harry said, hanging his head.

It was quiet for a moment before Minerva then smiled and said, "But 5 points to Gryffindor for stopping hexing them. I saw you stop in the memory even before I froze you. Your self-control certainly isn't all the way there, but it's better."

Harry grinned and looked up. "Thanks, Professor!"

Sirius stared incredulously at Minerva. "Merlin's Beard! You never did that for any of us!"

Minerva pursed her lips and once again became Professor McGonagall. "Tell me, Mr. Black, when you stopped and showed self-control in your pranks."

Sirius winced and rubbed the back of his neck. "Uh, er-" he stammered.

"That's what I thought," Minerva smirked.

Dumbledore's eyes twinkled madly and Remus didn't know whether to be amused or annoyed at Sirius.

"Is there anything else Harry is needed for? I think we need to take him to our quarters and chat," Remus said sternly.

Minerva and Dumbledore shook their heads.

"Come along, Harry," Remus ordered.

Harry stood up and followed his father in the floo, Sirius following them.

When they got there, Harry dutifully sat down on the couch and mustered his Gryffindor strength to look at Remus.

"Now, just because we don't have a session doesn't mean you can get in a fight," Remus started sternly. "There is no excuse for your behavior today."

"Moony Da! Did you see what they were saying?! It was horrible!" Harry cried, standing up.

"Harry, Sirius and I are adults. We can take care of ourselves."

"MY MOM CAN'T! WHO IS GOING TO PROTECT HER? IT'S UP TO ME!" Harry shouted before sitting back down on the couch. He turned away and angrily swiped away some tears that slipped out.

Remus and Sirius exchanged a look. Remus' face softened and he went over to Harry. "You protect your parents' memory every day, Harry. You make them proud by being yourself. And trust me, Lily can look after herself, even in the afterlife," Remus gave Harry a small smile.

"Really?" Harry sniffed. He knew it sounded ridiculous but he takes any information about his parents, even if he's heard it a hundred times.

"With that fiery temper, I'm sure she's already figured out payback. Besides, Severus is dealing with them and he will not tolerate that," Sirius said.

Harry sighed. "I can't let people just say terrible things about my family. I just can't!"

"You're allowed to be angry, Pup. But maybe next time let's not punch them? Just hex them or something," Sirius offered.

"Sirius," Remus hissed, turning his head.

"Listen, I can't really blame him for what he did. I would have done even worse. So would have James. You would have even done something."

Remus couldn't argue with that. There were some terrible things that were said.

"Harry, are you sure you're okay with everything that happened?" Sirius asked. He knew that Harry responded as well as he could have to the whole situation.

Harry shrugged. "I don't really want to think about it. Uhm, are you going to punish me?"

Sirius turned to Remus and put up a silencing charm. "We're together on punishments, but I can't really think of what to punish him with for this," Sirius admitted. "I mean, I really understand what he did."

"I know, Padfoot. But he can't just get into fights. And yet so many of the common punishments we would use are his coping mechanisms. Hmm," Remus thought.

Sirius took down the silencing charm and Harry looked at his parents expectantly. "So?"

"You will stay here for a week and then you'll be allowed to return to your dorm again," Remus announced.

Harry nodded. He didn't love the idea but it wasn't horrible. He knew it could have been much worse.

"However, that will have to begin after tonight," Remus said.

Harry was puzzled for a millisecond before his eyes widened. "OH! The full moon! Oh, I'm so sorry, Moony Da! Are you doing okay?"

Remus gave Harry a small grateful smile. "Yes, Harry. I'm doing alright. A little tired, but nothing terrible. The Wolfsbane helps tremendously and Severus has tweaked it to be even more efficient."

Harry beamed. "That's wonderful! I'm so glad you're doing alright!"

Remus couldn't help but give Harry a bigger smile. He was so thankful for his loving and supportive Cub. "Thank you, Love. Now, I believe we have a session together?" Remus pointed out, raising his eyebrow.

Harry's face fell (rather comically according to Sirius). "But Moony Da!" Harry whined, "You were busy!"

"I was," Remus nodded. "I am available now. Let's go."

Harry huffed, but followed his father out of their quarters. Sirius was chuckling and Harry turned around and gave Sirius an obscene gesture to which Sirius just stuck his tongue out and continued to point and laugh.

"Moony Da?" Harry asked as they walked to Remus' office.

"Yes, Harry?"

"Were you able to finish the emergency you had before, uh, you had to come to Dumbledore's office?"

"Professor Dumbledore," Remus reminded Harry. "And yes, I was. I had just finished when I was retrieved."

"And, um, I know you can't say anything," Harry continued, turning the corner into the waiting room and then into his office, "but is the person you're helping going to be okay?"

Remus shut the door behind them. He paused for a moment before smiling and said, "Yes, Harry. They're going to be alright."

A relieved smile broke out on Harry's face. "Good. I'm glad to hear it."

"Now, how are you?" Remus asked, getting comfortable in his armchair.

"Besides what just happened?" Harry asked.

"You can talk about it or not. It's up to you," Remus offered.

"Well, my annoying dads punished me and that's annoying," Harry said.

Remus smirked before leaning forward and said, "Parents are rather annoying sometimes."

Harry unsuccessfully tried to hide his smile while rolling his eyes and shaking his head. He then became more serious and said, "I was having a pretty good day. I mean, I think I've done really well since we've come back! Don't you think?"

Remus gave a nod and said, "I agree, but it's more important about what you think than what I think. I am proud that you have seen your growth and positive behavior these past few weeks, though."

"I was doing well, wasn't I?"

"Yes. And today doesn't mess anything up. Also, just remember that you're never doing "bad". There are no bad feelings. They might be uncomfortable, but we have them. Even when you make choices that are not what you should be doing, that doesn't make you bad. You are good, Harry. You are good."

Harry let that sink in. He hadn't really thought about it like that. "I guess I never thought of that. I was bad at the Dursleys so often that I have still held it with me, I guess."

"No, Harry. You were not bad at the Dursleys. They abused you. You did nothing wrong. No one deserves that treatment, ever. They told you that you were bad, but you were not and are not. You are good, Harry," Remus affirmed seriously. He had gotten up and held Harry's hands in his, trying to make eye contact.

Harry mulled over Remus' words for a moment before giving a small nod. "I'll work on it. I'm not sure I believe you right now, but I'll try to," Harry offered meekly.

Remus gave Harry a proud smile and tried to move a piece of hair out of Harry's face. "We'll work on it together," Remus promised Harry quietly. He gave him a warm smile before returning to his seat.

"I heard quidditch will be starting up in less than two months. Someone heard March," Harry commented, abruptly changing the topic.

Luckily, Remus was rather used to this in his line of work. "Oh, that's exciting. How do you feel about it?"

"Bloody brilliant! I've missed it!" Harry said. He continued to talk about quidditch for a while before it became quiet. Harry stared out of the window before turning back to Remus. "What they said really bothers me. I mean, I can't stand that they attacked my family. It's not right," Harry said quietly, his face full of emotion.

Remus nodded and hummed. "I've known a few Gryffindors who were rather overprotective of their loved ones,"

Harry nodded. "I just don't know what to do with it all," Harry admitted.

"Would you like some help?" Remus offered.

Harry nodded and turned towards Remus, listening intently.

Remus talked with Harry about some of the comments and why they made Harry so mad. He also touched on coping mechanisms, but it was getting late and Remus knew that he and Sirius had a few things to take care of before nightfall.

"How're you feeling now, Harry?" Remus asked.

"Better. Still kinda angry, but better."

"I'll take better," Remus said, smiling. "Is there anything I can do for you before we end? Remember, you won't be seeing us tonight. I should be alright tomorrow as well if this potion works as well as last time."

Harry couldn't help but smile at that. "I'll be okay, Moony Da. No more fights for tonight."

"How about no more fights ever," Remus countered.

"Moony Da! I'm the son of the marauders! Of course, I'll get in another fight again!"

Remus just shook his head. "Come here, Cub,"

Harry got up and went into his uncle's open arms.

"I love you so much, so much. Make good choices tonight, alright? And don't do anything noteworthy until I get back, hm?" Remus asked, teasing Harry on the last part.

Harry nodded and hugged Remus tighter. "I love you too, Moony Da. I'll make good choices. And I won't do anything wild, I promise."

"Good. Now, go get ready for supper," Remus said, releasing Harry

"Yes, Sir. I love you! I'll see you tomorrow!" Harry said as he gave Remus another quick hug.

"Nothing important while I'm gone!" Remus called out.

"I promise!" Harry replied.

Harry certainly didn't intend to make a promise he couldn't keep. He had no idea what was in store for him that night.
