Card 2: Killing Life

Tatsumi and the mysterious woman kept running down the forest after escaping the mansion of a murdering family. They went deeper and deeper into the forest to get away until they stopped and found themselves in the streets.

"This way!" the woman shouted as she ran off.

"Wait!" Tatsumi shouted to get her attention. But she didn't hear him as he followed her once more and she led him into a dark alley. "Why are we here, my friends are still out there!"

"Will find them, but we need to hide for the time being," the woman said to him.

"Oh, and why should I just trust you," Tatsumi said in suspicion after what happened to that family who tricked him, Sayo and Ieyasu and also got themselves killed by that family.

"If I would though, then why haven't I done it yet" the woman shouted when she pushed a brick wall the wall suddenly opened up to a secret door surprising Tatsumi. "So what's your choice, stay out here and die, or find somewhere to hide!" she rushes in the secret door.

Tatsumi gritted his teeth groaning as he had to choose either of them until he heard something heading this way, he grunted and entered the secret door as it closed.

Outside a few of the Undead were scouting this dark alley and see nothing they decided to leave this area.

Inside it was pitch black in there until the woman lights up a match and sets the touch they can finally see now.

"Alright spill it, who are you, what the hell is up with this city, and what kind of Danger Beast are they!" Tatsumi shouted at her angrily.

The woman lets out a sigh, she removes her hoodie and she is revealed to have fair skin, purple eyes and white hair with a ponytail. "My name is Ayuka, and you better tell me what you are doing here in this corrupted society."

The music starts with each silhouette figure posing and appearing before a four shadowing figures appears in front of the camera, then the light shines as Blade appears before Garren, Charlice, and Leangle appear.

(Kokoro ni kakushiteta omi) this scene shows Blade standing in front while Tatsumi stands behind with his Blay Rouze while placing his hand on the blade with an ace card in the background.

(Shizuka ni kotoba de kizande) Garren was standing to his right while Sayo was standing on the left while aiming the Garren Rouzer, as the diamond card in the background.

(Fumidasu tesaguri na asu he) this scene focuses on Chalice standing behind with the background a heart card. Hajime was in front of the camera holding his Chalice Arrow before changing it to blade mode.

(Tsuyoku mayoi nai hitomi de) Leangle was standing in front of left as Ieyasu stands on the right resting the Leangle Rouzer on his shoulder, with a club card in the background.

(Donna mirai demo uketomeru watashi de itakute. Ima wa mou furkanai) this scene shows Night Raid wielding their Imperial Arms: Akame unsheathing her Murasame, Leone with cats and tail with fur yellow claws with her Leonelle, Mine aiming her Pumpkin, Lubbock swings down with his cross tail, Sheelestands behind with her Extase, Bulat wearing his Incursio. Then the scene changes to a split screen between Najenda and Ayuka.

This scene shows the Undead army with shadowing figures standing at front before the camera focuses on the Empire Army with Esdeath and six other shadowing figures while sinister smiles.

(Hashiru shoudou ni makasete hirogaru sekai he. Kawaru unmei ni kotoe ga aru to shinjite) The four Riders ride down on the beach before the scene changes as they battle through an army of Undead and the Empires with Night Raid joins in. Blade swings his Blay Rouzer at them with lightning, Garren shoots from her Garren Rouzer, Chalice hovers in the air in a tornado while slashing, and Leangle straight stabs as he freezes.

(Ano hi senmei ni egaita kawaranai yume wa. Umeta genkai mo kanarazu koete yuku kara) each scene shows Night Raid past. A young Akame walking down witha little girl she was holding hands, Mine stands in the streets in dirt, Sheele look up in the sky while holding a grocery bag, Bulat stands in front of a cage, Najenda stands in the fire while Ayuka was standing there being held down by the empire soldiers, Lubbock walks down the streets, and Leone stands on a building rooftop and see the view of her town.

(Yuruginai koe ni shite todokeru kitto The camera shows each Rider posing for their final move. Blade jumps up in the air with lightning, Garren jumps spins with fire, Chalice hovers up in a tornado, and Leangle scissor kicks with ice shooting out.

(Itsuka tadoritsuku sono toki made) Then the scene shows all the RIders standing in front of the Capital before posing when the title appeared.

Blade: The Corrupted World

The final scene shows Blade walking up to Akame as she turns around pulling out her Murasama, Blade pulling out his Blay Rouzer. Once the two stand in front of each other they both swing their sword and pass through when they didn't slash each other but Akame stabs one Imperial soldier while Blade slashes an Undead. Then the two went back to back as Akame gripped Murasama with both hands, Blade placed his left hand on the Blay Rouzer blade part, with the background of Night Raid's flag.

Tatsumi and the woman known as Ayuka were walking down the stairs in the dark.

"Are you kidding me! You and your friends travel from your home to try to get fame and riches in the Capital to save your village!" Ayuka shouted out at him after hearing his reason.

"Well, yeah that's why you're here" Tatsumi replied to her.

"And look where that got you and your friends" Ayuka responded sternly.

Tatsumi looks down in sorrow after everything he has been through he thinks of his friends Sayo and Ieyasu and remembers what they swore together before leaving their village.

"Let's make a pack, for when we die. We die together!"

"We're gonna be leaders in the Imperial Capital!"

"And make enough money to save the village! We'll be heroes!"

Tatsumi frowned, everything they did in the effort to save their village ended up nearly dying from that murdering family. If it wasn't for the Undead attack they could have been their death over there. "We've been training our whole life for this, we promise everyone to make money to save our village. But now look where we are" he thought to himself.

Soon the two see a door as Ayuka opens it and reveals it to be a room, she turns on the lights and sees it was a complete mess. With broken glass, flipped-over desks and chairs, and papers all over the floor.

"Rrrrhh, this mess" Ayuka groaned seeing all of her ruined. "We better not say here for a while, otherwise we will be dead by morning," she said before she started to look around the room if something here was still working and useful.

"Okay what the hell is going on here, where was that family trying to kill us and what the hell are those Danger Beast!" Tatsumi shouted out as he still wanted to know what was happening in the Capital.

"Quit shouting and I'll talk," Ayuka said so he can be quiet and listen to her. "Have you ever heard of the Emperor?" this causes Tatsumi a gasped as did remember what one of Aria's guards said about the Emperor being a demon? "And I'm guessing you already heard about the Prime Minister by his side, his twisted, cruel, hungry pig is the reason why the Capital is a hell hole. The Emperor may have that pig by his side, but that Prime Minister is a heart of a monster, a demon with sympathy to humankind way beyond of all the wealthy people, he never care any human around or this damn country" when Tatsumi listen to Ayuka, he was horrified when she explained how cruel and greedy that Prime Minister was. "And as for the Undead, they're not exactly Danger Beast."

"Wait what?" Tatsumi blinked in confusion at what Ayuka said.

"We still don't know anything about the Undead but they've found out that they've been around ten thousand years ago."

This causes Tatsumi to be shocked. "What! They're that old!?" he shouted.

"Well yeah, my team used to be in the Empire researcher and gather lots of detail and origins until we found a sacred seal placed all of the Undead in there. But then the Empire didn't care about our research, they just wanted to use the Undead ability."

"Ability?" Tatsumi muttered.

"The Undead are immortal monsters that won't die from anything" this makes Tatsumi shocked even more. It was impossible for something that has that power. "So when the Empire releases the seal so that they can harness their power. But then everything backfires when the Undead start to attack and kill everyone. That's why we secretly created the belts to fight the Undead back and seal them all away." Tatsumi took out his Blay Buckle and looked at it. "Not to mention Rouze Cards."

"Rouze Cards?"

"They're the ones that seal the Undead, killing them won't be unlike Danger Beast. But then the Empire soon found out and wanted to possess it" Ayuka said in a deep sorrowful voice as she remembered what happened.

(Flashback)

After the Empire demands the research group to hand over the research and documents to the Undead, Ayuka is with her group as they burn down the documents, destroying everything that they can find in their laboratory.

"It was a week ago when the Empire ordered us to hand our resources and destroy everything we can," Ayuka explained.

Then all of a sudden the door bursts down as soldiers of the Empire enter the laboratory with their weapons pointing at Ayuka and her group.

"But then the Empire Military found out what we're doing and put us all under arrest for turning against the Emperor."

Ayuka and her group kneeled with their hands on their head as the military points their weapons at them

"By order of the Emperor, you are all under arrest of treason, and for that your punishment is death!"

This causes the research group to be horrified and frightened in tears, but then a man with black hair, and brown eyes, wearing a gray coat and gray shirt, pants and black fancy shoes spoke up.

"It was the only way, we can't let this be in the wrong hands!" he shouted at the military.

"Silence! All of you are traitors and keeping a secret project behind the Emperor's back!" one of the militaries demanded.

"You fools! The Emperor is only a child, the Prime Minister is the one you should be concerned about! If he gets his hand our last hope of surviving, no one will be safe!" he shouted but the military general punches him in the face causing him to fall

Then the military soldiers pointed their weapons at the research group they cried to meet their death. "On my command! One! Two! Thre-!"

But then the Undeads appeared out of nowhere as they devoured the military soldiers and let out a scream to their deaths, the research group fled from the area.

"We would've died back there but the Undead attack out of nowhere."

But for Ayuka, she was dragged by the man as she follower to the desk with a case on top, he opened it and revealed to her the Blay Buckle and Rouze Card.

"Ayuka, whatever you do, keep this away from the Empire!" the man said to her.

"But!"

"No buts!" he interrupted as he placed his hand on the way until it opened up a secret door. "The Emperor must never get this, especially the Prime Minister! If they found out about this project they'll stop at nothing to get their hands on it, no one will be safe including the Undead!"

Ayuka sobbed with tears coming out of her eyes as she won't leave him but the man places his hand on her right cheek calming her down.

"Please, if we can't stop them, all will be for nothing," he said to her before he handed her the case and shoved her to the secret doors, Ayuka fell to the floor as the door closed shut.

"No! No! NOOOOOO!" she shouted slamming the secret door while crying out in tears. "Director!"

(Flashback ended)

"And because I ran, I was the only one to survive" Ayuka finished telling Tatsumi was shocked to hear that as she let out sighs and looked at him. "Look I know we just met, I beg of you, will you help me take down the Undead."

Tatsumi was speechless as he looked down at the floor. "I'm sorry…..but no" this caused Ayuka. "Look if you remember back there when I was about to die I am not getting dragged into this. My friends and I almost died from that psycho-killing family and those monsters! I'm done once I find Sayo and Ieyasu, we're all going home!"

"And you're just going home empty-handed" Ayuka points out as she remembers something about being rich to save their village.

"Well, that when we step into this crazy Capital! I should've never left home, once I found Sayo and Ieyasu!" Tatsumi shouted as he pulled out his Blay Buckle and raised his arm at her. "Here, you can have this back. I'm not getting dragged into this! You can find someone else, I'm done!"

"I'm sorry, but I can't be Blade, only you can, because the other one is still out there," Ayuka said.

"Other one?"

"There's only two more, you have the Blay Buckle, but the other one is hidden somewhere only members of the research group know," she explained.

"And how do you know that?" Tatsumi wondered suspiciously.

Ayuka let out a sigh and replied to him. "Because I'm the one who made those belts in the first place" this surprised Tatsumi at what she said. "If the Empire finds me, they'll force me to build more of them and use it for their soldiers to rule over the Capitol forever."

"Then why can't you just do it on your own," Tatsumi pointed out.

"I'm not fit in battle and tried to transform but it failed, you're gonna have to be Blade like it or not" Ayuka replied her reason and said to him that he has to be Blade. "Besides, if you want to find your friends, I'd hold on to that belt just in case for the Undead to come. And until then you know part of this" she said before walking away from Tatsumi.

Tatsumi frowned as he grit his teeth and clenched his fist as he looked at the door wondering where his friends were hiding. But was also worried if they were safe out there in the Capital if they were the same as the Undead or the Capital.

(The next day)

It was morning now as Tatsumi was already on the streets as he searched through every town and dark alleys, but there was no sign of Sayo and Ieyasu to be found. He asked any citizen in this Capital if they saw his friends but none of them knew where they were.

His search took him all day, Tatsumi was getting exhausted from searching for Sayo and Ieyasu. He sat down on the bench and let out a sigh so loud.

"Man, for the last two days since I got here, this place has gotten crazy and insane," Tatsumi muttered to himself.

He then looks around the streets seeing some of the people were walking and saw that most of the people were miserable and sadden, Tatsumi also saw some of the homeless who are sitting on the streets before he spotted one homeless man with the military soldier as they smirked at him as one soldier shouted at him.

"All those people in the Capital look miserable, is this what I came here for," Tatsumi thought to himself when he saw all those people were not happy he realized he should never come here in the first place. "I can't believe this place, this isn't a wonderful and peaceful place, it's a horrible place to die. I should have never come here in the first place, but how will I make money for the village?" Now, this got him worried about what he can do now to save his village.

"Excuse me?" Then Tatsumi heard someone asking him as he turned his head and saw Amane from yesterday. "Are you okay? You look kind of a mess" she asked.

"Oh, it's you," Tatsumi remembered when he first arrived here. "Yeah I'm fine," he replied.

"Where are your friends?" Haruka wondered.

Tatsumi looks down, frowning as he doesn't feel like talking about what happened last night. "I…...don't feel like talking about it" he replied to them.

"Oh, well you look tired, would you like to say in the restaurant, we have a guest room just in case visitors want to sleep" Haruka suggested to him, Tatsumi blinked but thinks this through since he nearly got killed by Aria and her family. However Haruka does not look like the type of person to kill, she was polite and gentle since the day he first came here.

"Okay," Tatsumi agreed.

So they all headed back to the Jacaranda Cafe as Haruka led Tatsumi to a door. She opens the door and shows Tatsumi the room with one bed, one table desk, and one window with the window bedding that only has a little light through.

"Here, this is all I could do for you," she said to him.

"Uh, thanks" Tatsumi was speechless as he didn't know what to say to her. But then someone opened the door as they turned and saw a little girl Tatsumi blinking wondering who she was. The little girl runs up to Amane as she picks her up and hugs her.

"Hi, mommy!" The little girl greeted her excitedly.

"Hello, welcome back" Haruka smiled happily. "Oh, this is Amane, my daughter."

"Hello, my name is Tatsumi," he greeted her sheepishly.

"Hi, Tatsumi!" She greeted him and waved at him as Tatsumi waves back.

"Okay, I'll be with you in a minute, he'll be our guest for tonight, just wait in your room," Haruka said to her daughter. Amane nodded happily as she walked away and left the room, then she heard a bell's noise. "Just give me a moment, there's something I need to do," she said before leaving the room and closing the door.

Tatsumi was now alone in the room as he sat on the bed and let out a sigh. "Well, at least she wasn't that bad, for once" he muttered to himself but frowned off coming to this place. "So now what am I going to do, even if this country is hell I made a promise to everyone back at the village?" he wondered worriedly, Tatsumi doesn't know how to get that much money now after almost getting killed.

Then he heard yelling noises that Tatsumi could hear through the door, so he decided to check what was going on and opened the door to see what was going on. Tatsumi sees Haruka as was with a group of men standing up to her as they seem to be having a conversation.

"Listen, it's time for you to pay up!" One of the men shouted.

"Please I can't just give you money, I need some to pay the restaurant" Haruka begged.

But then the man grabbed Haruka by the neck and lifted her, causing him to choke, then the man pulled. "You better get my money or I'll do something to your daughter!" The man said before dropping Haruka as he and his group left. "You have until tomorrow!" he shouted before he and his group left the restaurant.

Haruka was sitting down on the floor with her face tilted down frowning as she was about to cry, but she notices a shadow and sees Tatsumi as he raises his hand at her. She decides to reach her hand at him, Tatsumi pulls her up back onto her feet.

"I'm sorry for all that noise" Haruka apologized to him.

"It doesn't matter, all of this is normal here in the Capital," Haruka said in sadness.

"What? This is normal?" Tatsumi blinked in confusion.

"I thought you might know about this place. This Capital is my home but with the Emperor making decisions with the Prime Minister the streets aren't safe anymore, corruption, taxes, and looting anyone's home, I can't stay here anymore" Haruka said as tears came out.

"Well, why would you and your daughter stay here?" Tatsumi wondered.

"Do you think I don't know that, I can't leave, even going out there to the country, but no matter what, the Empire controls half of the country, I can't escape" this causes Tatsumi to feel bad after asking her reason?

"I-I'm sorry" Tatsumi apologized.

"No, it doesn't matter, nowhere is safe from the Empire, either here or far away. That's just how it is," she said before walking to the front counter and wiping the top.

This causes Tatsumi to frown, he and his friends came all this way to make a fortune to save their village only to find themselves in a country full of killing, so what will he do now?

Just then the door opened up as Tatsumi noticed and saw a man walking to the restaurant, Haruka noticed and recognized him.

"Oh, hello Hajime, how's your day?" she asked him.

"Just the usual" he replied before sitting down at the table. "I would like to have the usual, please" Haruka nodded before she gets started cooking, he then notices someone else in the room and stares at Tatsumi.

"Oh, Hajime, this is Tatsumi, he's going to stay here for tonight," Haruka said before heading back to the kitchen.

Tatsumi looks at him as he raises his right eyebrow and tilts his head to the left, curious about that man. "Uuuuhhhh, I'm Tatsumi, Hajime was it, nice to meet you" he greeted with a smile, eyes closed while rubbing his back head.

"There's something wrong with you when you came to this place isn't it" this causes Tatsumi to be a bit surprised by what Hajime said.

"Uh, I guess, by how'd you know that?" Tatsumi asked.

"It was just a guess," Hajime replied. "So why are you here in the first place?"

Tatsumi sighs as he decides to sit down with him. "Look I know it's crazy but my friends and I came to the Capital to make a fortune for the village, but for the last three days I got con by that whore, nearly killed by a family, and fought immortal monster Danger Beast-like whatever!" He explained letting out a shout before letting out a sigh as Tatsumi frowned while looking at the ceiling.

"Well sometimes, it's what it is supposed to be, but in the end, this place is not the happiest place," Hajime said before Haruka came with a tray of food and placed it on the table next to him as she walked off.

"C'mon, why hasn't anybody tried to fight the Empire, if that's the problem then someone has to do something about it," Tatsumi said as he looked down. "If someone can take down the Empire, this Capital will have heroes," he said in a determination that maybe this country needs light.

Hajime was just looking down with his eyes covered in shade. "This isn't a fairy tale for these kids, this is what the world is," he said sternly to him as this caused Tatsumi to blink in confusion about what he said. "In this world, there is no such thing as justice, only cruelty, greed, and blood."

Then Hajime noticed some people were walking pasting by. "Come with me," he said to him before standing up from his seat as Tatsumi followed him. "Will be right back," he tells Haruka as she nodded understandingly.

The two of them walk outside of the streets as Tatsumi notices fewer and fewer people passing by them that he was curious about what is going on. "You wanna see what happened to people rising to the Emperor, this is the result of playing hero," Hajime said as he stopped and saw a crowd of people. Tatsumi looks around as he sees them looking at something, he turns where they are looking, he is shocked and horrified.

They were a group of people tied up to a wooden cross as rag dirty clothing, they spat out blood begging out loud in pain.

Tatsumi stood there horrified when he saw them like that he went to a state that he nearly threw up, he bends down while covering his mouth with his right hand and holds his stomach.

"Don't make a scene because this is normal around here" Hajime notified him.

"Normal!?" Tatsumi grumbled in silence as he looked at the people on the wooden pillar.

"This is all the Emperor's fault or in which case it's the Prime Minister's fault, for he is the true monster of this country," Hajime said as he turned around. "This is reality, the only heroes you see here….are murderers. Let's go back" he said to Tatsumi before walking back to the restaurant.

But Tatsumi was concerned for himself as he wondered while looking at the large castle. "If that's true, then what kind of monster is this guy?" he thought to himself while staring at the castle.

Inside the castle in a royal throne room, a young boy with green hair goes the length of his shoulders, braided hair on both sides of his head, and green eyes. He wore a purple outfit with white boots and a blue mantle, and a large headdress, he carried a golden sceptre with a blue orb. This is the Emperor.

With him are six people as well as a soldier of the Army, he brings news to the Emperor as he bowed down to him. "Your majesty, I'm afraid that the mad scientist is nowhere to be found, along with the secret project" he reported to him.

"Is that so?" The Emperor asked him. "Then you must extend your search for her and the project and kill her at sight," he demanded.

"But you're majesty, our search causes some of our men to disappear at night an-!"

"Don't make any excuses" the soldier gulped when the Emperor spoke. "If you don't find her, you and your men will be executed," the Emperor said to him.

"Y-Yes! Of course!" he shouted in response.

Besides the Emperor were an elderly round man with white skin, gray hair, dark yellow eyes, and a long white beard that goes all the way to his stomach. He wears brown boots, a dark green shirt and short pants, a belt around his waist and belly, and a gray coat with hair-like around his neck. This is the Prime Ministry of the Emperor, the Honest.

"Very good your highness, you make a wonderful decision," he said with a smile, but that smile is just an act as his true nature was a monster to all of the people in the Capital.

"I did, didn't I" The Emperor smiled. "So what is this secret project that the research group hid from us? Is it special?" he asked the Honest.

"Oh it's indeed special, it's an advance to those beasts we're dealing with, but the research group kept it from us and tried to hide it so that they can rebel against you, maybe that special project will be in the hand of the Resistance Rebellion" Honest explained to the Emperor.

"Is that so, then if you see one of their members still out there execute them and bring the secret project to me!" The Emperor shouted in demand.

"Yes your majesty!" the soldier shouted, obeying his demands as he rushed off and left the throne room.

"Excellent work, just as the Capital needed, with you as Emperor, the people will be safe, especially with those murdering group 'Night Raid'" Honest commented to the young Emperor.

"Why to thank you, Honest, as I make these right choices for the country," the Emperor said.

After that, the Honest left the throne room as he was walking in the hallway alone. "Those fools think they can hide it forever, once we get our hands on it, the Empire will be unstoppable, and no one will stop this Empire, not even Night Raid!" Honest though with a sinister grinned sharp teeth.

Then he spotted a large muscular man with dark skin, his hair is black with an unusual braided ponytail at the bottom, greying near the temples, a star-shaped scar on the left as on the right eye remained unharmed it was red with the sclera black and sharp teeth. He wears a black long shirt, white pants, boots, and armour shoulder pads and chest.

"Ogre, did you get anything from that member of the research group?" Honest asked him if he got any intel of the mad scientist's whereabouts.

As the man known as Ogre replied. "It was hard for her to get through but we managed to break her," he grinned.

(Flashback)

In a dark room, Ogre was on a large bed with a woman from the research group whose clothes were torn off. He was on top of her while he was holding both of her arms, he slept with her all night, and he also did it again after work.

She suffered everything single night with that man until one day she finally snapped.

"She might be hiding in the secret base! It's in the alleyway!" she cried out loud.

Orge grinned as he finally broke her what she needed.

(Flashback ended)

"She had my time with me, too bad it had to end as this" Orge grinned.

"Find that made scientist and execute her, retrieve that project back here, once it's now in the hands of the Empire your soldier will be enhanced with that device, no one will stop you, not even Night Raid" Honest laughed with a monstrous smile. "And you know what to do."

"Consider her dead" Ogre nodded with a wide sinister grin.

(Meanwhile)

Back at the Jacaranda Cafe as Tatsumi returned with Hajime, he thought of what Hajime said as normal. He doesn't seem to like the country when he arrived here, especially when the Emperor was only a child and the Prime Ministry was using him. He was laying down on the bed while looking at the ceiling frowning while remembering what Hajime said.

"This is reality, the only heroes you see here….are murderers."

Tatsumi couldn't help himself after everything that happened for the past three days, is there even hope of this world left, or what Hajime said is true.

"Is this what the world has become, this is not what I thought this place would be" Tatsumi thought to himself

Then someone knocked at the door as Tatsumi heard it. He sat up and the door opened up revealing it to be Haruka. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked, wondering if something happened.

"N-No, I'm fine, it's okay," Tatsumi replied.

"Okay" Haruka understood."Anyways, me and Amane are going grocery shopping, and I was going to ask if you wanna joined us?" she asked him, Tatsumi wondered if that should be a good idea but he was not feeling for a time like this.

But then he narrowed his eyes thinking maybe this should get Haruka and her daughter, so he went out with Haruka and Amane grocery shopping. As times go by as Tatsumi looks around and sees some of them who don't seem happy but sometimes miserable, he still thinks this country is in hell. Soon they were all sitting together as Haruka and Amane were at a sweet cafe as they ordered ice cream while Tatsumi just ordered a smoothie.

"Mmmm! This is delicious!" Amane smiled.

"Oh wait there's something on you," Haruka said as she wiped some of the ice creams off of her with a napkin, Amane laughed as they both smiled.

But for Tatsumi, he looks depressed while drinking his smoothie through a straw when Amane notices him. "Is there something wrong? You look kind of sad" she asked.

Tatsumi heard her before he looked at Amane. "Oh, it's nothing, don't worry," he replied.

"But you don't look happy, is there anything wrong?" Amane kept asking as she was worried about him.

Tatsumi looks away from her as he lets out a sigh, he doesn't wanna talk about it. However, he decided to let it all out and told Amane. "So you don't know where your friends are? Is that why you're sad" she asked.

"Yeah" he sighs in sadness as Tatsumi looks down at the ground. "That and the talk I had with Hajime.

"Oh him," Amane said

"You know him?" he wondered if she knew about that guy.

"Well yeah, he's been with us ever since like two years ago when he was just standing there sad and alone" this got Tatsumi's attention as he listened to Amane. "Since then he's been visiting us every single day, he's still a creep, but he's sometimes cool."

"Is he that cool?" Tatsumi asked with her right eyebrow raised.

"Well….most of the time" Amane replied with moppy, as Tatsumi looks confused.

(Meanwhile with Hajime)

Hajime was just back in his studio as he closed the door and went in and locked the door. He took off his coat send all of a sudden, he senses something inside of him as it was calling him, he was breaking in and out he went into the darkroom and close it.

Once he let out a sigh he leaned on the door as something drop out of his pocket. It was a card with a mantis in the shape of a heart, and the word 'Chalice' on it.

He freaked out and slammed his hands on the door as if he was trying to get away from something.

"No…..not now…...not…...NOW!" Hajime exclaimed out loud.

(Back with Tatsumi)

"Alright it's time to go," Haruka said to Amane as she nodded before getting up from her seat and going with her mother. Then she looked at Tatsumi. "Do you wanna come?"

Tatsumi looked down as he replied. "No, I'll stay here for a bit," he said.

"Okay, you know where we are," Haruka said as she and Amane walked away from heading back to the restaurant.

As Tatsumi lets out sight and leans back to his seat while looking at the sky and seeing some stares, he sees some of the people walking by. However he was still concerned not just with his friends but this Capital as well, Tatsumi frowned as he was still wondering if he should head back, but without his friends to go home with. "Even if I would go back home, I broke the promise to the chief…..and everyone….what am I going to do now?" Tatsumi thought to himself as he was having doubts about heading back home but with the promise, he made from home to everyone, will he break that?

Then he suddenly felt something as nature calls. He looked around as he decided to head to the alleyway and go there. After that, Tatsumi was about to head off when he heard a yelling sound nearby.

"Alright! Your time is up!" Tatsumi followed that sound and he was shocked as he saw Haruka and Amane were frightened by the group of men that came to the restaurant.

"I told you don't have goths money till tomorrow," Haruka said to them while wrapping her arms around Amane as she was a bit scared.

"There's been a change, you have to pay up now" the man grinned as his group laughed with a sinister grin.

"But! I don't have enough! Haruka cried out.

"If not, had your daughter over, will take good care of her better than you did" the man laughed sinisterly.

This made Haruka shiver in fear as she hugged her daughter. She doesn't want to lose her just like what happened with her husband. She is not losing her daughter. Tatsumi watches and sees that she and her daughter are terrified, his eyes shaded and clutching his hand on the wall hard something inside of him as rage and determination awaken him.

"C'mon and just hand her over!"

"Will take care of her well."

"Too bad for you and your restaurant!"

As the group of men laugh sinisterly they approach them and reach out their hands at Amane she is scared and covers herself with holed mother frighten. But then one of the men fell as they noticed, the man who was about to grab Amane was punched in the lower jaws, Tatsumi punched that man with an uppercut causing him to fall unconscious.

"Who the hell are you?!" The man demanded.

"Tatsumi?" Haruka muttered as she was surprised to see him.

"Get out of here now and get her safe" Tatsumi said but Haruka looks at him worried that if he stays here those men will kill him. "I SAID RUN! NOW!" She listens as the two of them get up and runs away from them.

"Don't let them escape!" The man ordered as the group was about to follow them.

Some of the men cried to follow them but suddenly Tatsumi appeared and kicks some of them out. They were all shocked to see him doing that so quickly.

"What the hell are you! This isn't your business!" the man shouted.

But all they see is Tatsumi as he glares at them with a serious and dangerous look on his face. "Listen, I've been through a lot here of this hell, first I nearly died by a killing family, then seeing people suffer, and you threaten an innocent mother with her child! So yeah, this is now personal!"

"Find, if you want this then die like a hero!" The man shouted before pulling out a sword as he charged towards him and swung his sword downwards. But Tatsumi dodges his attack before he ducks down when the man swings his sword. "Damn it, stay still you brat!" He growled, swinging his sword downwards before Tatsumi dodges and low sweeps that man down. He groaned in pain as he looked up and saw that Tatsumi was standing with his sword in that boy's hand.

"You better make sure you don't threaten them ever again, or else I'll end your life!" Tatsumi exclaimed in a dangerous expression.

"You! You brat! Why are you standing there! Kill him!" The man ordered his group but all he saw from them was shivering in fear they all ran away to get away from that boy. The man gets up gritting his teeth as he glares at him. "You'll pay for this!" He shouted before he ran off.

But when the man was running a sword suddenly appeared out of nowhere and stabs him in the head, Tatsumi was shocked before he recognized that sword someone picked it up revealing it to be the Deer Undead who attacked him back at Aria's warehouse.

"You again," Tatsumi growled.

The Deer Undead roared at him before charging up towards Tatsumi as it swung its sword. But Tatsumi damages to dodge its attack, but he cuts some cuts on his sweater before backing up away from it.

Tatsumi thought of this monster as killing it is not gonna do anything against something like him, he pulled out Blay Buckle and looks at it. "I don't want this. I only came here to make a fortune for my village, but now things didn't go as I thought they would, I wish I could leave this hell but I can't leave Sayo and Ieyasu out there! I need to find them so that we can go back home safely! And even if we can't save the village! I can still find a way!" Tatsumi thought to himself as he inserted the card into the Blay Buckle before placing it around his waist.

"The light may be gone to this world," Tatsumi said as he raised his right arm to the left side while resting his left beside the left side of his waist. "But this world will be bright again!"

"Henshin!" he shouted, flicking the trigger of the belt with the picture of the beetle.

"TURN UP!"

A holographic blue spade appeared from the Blay Buckle Tatsumi runs through it he transforms into Kamen Rider Blade he pulled out his Blay Rouzer he swings it downwards at it.

But the Deer Undead deflected his attack the two clashes as their swords swing down, deflecting each of their attacks, Blade swings his Blay Rouzer to the right, Deer Undead swings down both of his swords.

The Deer Undead then jumps up and bounces around the area Blade tries to catch before it lands down and slashes him with its swords.

Blade let out a cry and fell as the Deer Undead land on top of him and punched him in the face.

Then Blade pushes the Deer Undead with both of his legs and frees himself as he gets back up. But the Dear Undead summons lightning from its antlers and struck down Blade tries to dodge but is blown away and falls to the ground before getting back up nut the Deer Undead shoots out lightning from his antlers and hits Blade causing him to fall to the ground.

"No matter what happens" as the Deer Undead was approaching to finish him off. "I'll never give up from the likes of you!" Blade shouted as he swung his Blay Rouzer upwards, slashing the Deer Undead he slashed one of its antlers off.

Blade reverses Blay Rouzer and opens up the storage of cards, picking one card and swiping it through the scanner.

"KICK!"

The symbol of a holographic card into Blade's chest he raises his Blay Rouzeras energy surrounding his body before stabbing it into the ground he jumps up in the air and extends his right leg and impacts with a kick to the chest the Deer Undead falls and explodes.

The Deer Undead was still there as it tried to move but the seal broke Blade opened up the storage cards and pulled one card and tossed it at it, absorbing the Deer Undead's body before flying back to Blade's hand. He looks and sees the card now has a deer on it with the word thunder on the left side.

"Well, that takes care of that" Blade sighs as he was about to leave the area, suddenly he felt like someone was following. Blade looks around and sees no ones there he could have sore, he feels like someone around.

Then someone sweeps out of the shadows as it runs straight towards Blade, he successfully deflects that attack with his Blay Rouzer.

"Who are you!" Blade demanded to know who the attacker was.

The attacker jumps up as Blade looks around before looking up and finds the attacker but was with four people. Blade raises his Blay Rouzer as he is preparing to whoever they are, but he takes a closer look at the attack and sees that it was a girl but he felt like he knew her from somewhere until he finally realized who she is. "No way, that girl that means those people…are Night Raid!" Blade gasped as he was in big trouble now.

The music starts as the camera focuses on the rain of cards falling from the sky this scene shows off the Rouze card laying down on the floor.

(Utsuro na me e shite nani o tsutaetai no) This scene shows Blade as he was standing in the street in the middle of the dark with Blay Rouze stabbed on the ground behind him.

(Ukande wa kieteiku anata no zanaou) Garren was in the centre of a park looking at the moonlight as the Garren Rouzer lay on the bench.

(Hibitoomenaida sono yasashita tte douse musekinin yo shitteru) Chalice was in the forest in the dark with only the moonlight shines through the gap with the Chalice Arrow in his hand.

(Tsuyoku nakya atashi wa imi mo nai isso kowashite yo) Leangle sat down on the floor of the damaged room with only a few lights and let Leangle Rouzerresting in his arms.

(Itoshisa de kokoro wa moroku nari nigiritsubuseru hado yashitku tte. Dare mi mo miseta koto naiyowasa hitotsu dake koboreta) all of the Riders appeared altogether as under their feet with their respective card each of their symbols; spade, diamond, heart, club, as raining cards fell.

(Donna itami mo gaman dekita no yo shiritaku nankatta) this scene only shows Tatsumi as he looks at the sky with his closed eyes before opening them, he turns around and walks away he transforms into Kamen Rider Blade walking away from the Capital.
