Hello everyone and thanks for all the support (Mostly on a helping tentacle). I'm here with the third chapter of this and as promised, them training. Anyways so if you remember from chapter 2 of a helping tentacle, I'm starting a new fanfic inspired by Bleach and stuff. Anyways, I have none of the plot planned out for that one like a helping tentacle although I have decided to let you guys decide on some of the stuff. So for my new fanfiction which will be named "Try," I will let you guys vote on a ship. Idk if any of you guys will actually vote but if you do here are the rules,
1. Has to be in age group, I won't ship Naruto with Anko, Mei, Kurenei, and other people who would count as older woman ship.
2. I don't do harems; I feel as if harems take away a lot of potential romance, I just dislike them.
3. No gay ships, I'm not homophobic but I feel like that would just be awkward to write for me and I just don't want to write on either.
4. No incest because it's incest; do I need to explain anymore?
5. No popular ships, I dislike popular ships since they are popular and are too easy to write. Less popular ships allow more creative will in it in my opinion. Part of the reason I like ships like Naruto and Fuu. Other less popular ships I like the dynamic of like Naruto (overly nice dude) and Tayuya(I'll swear swear swear all day long long long because I want to person). This part was a bit long.
Anyways if you wanna suggest a ship, just type it in either this or a helping tentacle or Try when I post it. I will also put this voting thing in 3rd chapter of a helping tentacle when I write it. My main priority right now is to complete the first chapter of Try. The name will make sense when you read it.
"So where are we going next?" asked Fuu as the trio walked on.
"I'm bringing you both to train. I figured now that we have Gaara, we can chill down a bit. Gaara was the only one I was majorly worried about since he may have been turned into a psychotic killer if we arrived too late." Responded Weaver.
"Where will we train?" asked Gaara as he entered the conversation.
"I don't know." replied Weaver with a shrug.
"If you don't know where we will be training, then how will we train?" asked Fuu with her head cocked to the side.
"Simple, you guys will do the summoning jutsu, you'll be sent to the creature best suited for you. I'll be training with my own summons too. We got 3 months so let's hurry up." said Weaver. "Now the hand seals are -Boar - Dog - Bird - Monkey - Ram. Now go do the jutsu and you should be sent to whatever you summon creature will be."
The three all went through the hand signs before simultaneous calls of "Summoning Jutsu!" was heard across the clearing they were in.
Fuu looked around to see a giant tropical forest. She looked around to see 4 glowing eyes staring at her. Fuu quickly flew up as whatever the creature was leaped at her. She soon had to start dodging as more of them came out of the trees and bushes leaping at her. She continued to weave through the creatures before a large one landed on top of her crushing Fuu into the ground. Fuu quickly twisted her body and kicked it off her with an armor enhanced leg.
Fuu took a moment to look at her attackers, "Jumping spiders," said Fuu as she flew above them.
"Yes," said the large spider with a high raspy voice, "Now it seems like a little beetle has wandered too far from home." The spider looked at her intently before continuing, " NOW REMEMBER MY NAME, ARINO BECAUSE IT'LL BE THE LAST NAME YOU'LL EVER KNOW!" roared the Spider with a sadistic sound in its voice. Arino jumped at Fuu, attempting to sink its fangs into Fuu. She quickly flew to the side before flying at Arino attempting to slam into her. Arino jumped up while leaving a long line of silk that wrapped around Fuu.
Fuu skidded across the ground as she got tangled in the silk. Arino appeared before Fuu before swinging down her front legs. Fuu blocked Arino's legs with her arms before kicking the spider away.
Arino started screeching commands to the other spiders. All the smaller spiders started leaping at Fuu. She started weaving through them all before noticing the silk being left behind a little bit too late. Fuu looked around to see herself surrounded by strings. "IT'S OVER BEETLE!" yelled Arino as all the silk soon closed in on her and tied up Fuu. Fuu could hear Arino laughing as she struggled to get free from the silk.
"Choumei, I need a little help!" Fuu could feel the chakra of Chomei entering her body. Fuu burst out of the trap before flying towards Arino. Fuu quickly sent a punch at Arino's face before grabbing onto Arino's leg and throwing her at a tree.
Fuu stiffened as she heard Arino start chuckle darkly, "You pass, you are our new summoner," Fuu heard as her face lit up with surprise. "Us attacking you was just a test to see if you were worth being our summoner, why don't you come with me to meet out leader."
Fuu quickly shook her head before responding, "Uh ok let's go then." Fuu and Arino started into the forest before stopping in front of a large clearing. "Where is your leader, Arino?"
"Just wait," responded Arino as she went over to the clearing. "Lord Kitekushi, we have gotten a new summoner!" Fuu waited for something to happen before everything started to shake. The ground at the center of the clearing started to break open as a massive spider came out from the center of the clearing.
"Kekekekeke, hello human or should I say beetle? I am Kitekushi, the lord of the jumping spider summoning clan," Kitekushi said.
Fuu nodded as she looked up at the spider, "Hello, I am Fuu and your summoner lord Kitekushi."
"Just call me Kitekushi, if we wish to work together well, we must be equals," said Kitekushi. "Now I'll give you a quick rundown of the benefits from our summoning clan."
Gaara instantly grabbed at his throat as he found himself underwater. He quickly covered his mouth as he started to panic since he didn't know how to swim. Gaara could see his own life fading away before a large air bubble appeared around him. Gaara coughed out all the water he inhaled and breathed in large amounts of air. He looked out the bubble to see a large, jelly-like, object with weird tentacles coming out of it.
"What are you?" asked Gaara, confusion evident on his face.
"I am Zukuta, a member of the jellyfish summoning clan," responded the strange creature.
"I see Zukuta, will your clan accept me as a potential summoner?" said Gaara.
"If you pass our test, you may be our summoner, human," answered Zukuta. "Now, come with me human, we shall go to a cave where you will be tested." Zukuta and Gaara went to a large cave with several holes all over it. There were also several sapphire crystals. "Now, your challenge is to stay alive." Zukuta soon went and blocked the way out.
10 jellyfish came out of the holes and started shooting beams of water at Gaara. A cloud of sand appeared bellow Gaara as he started flying around on it dodging the blasts of water. 5 of the jellyfish went back into the holes and started shooting out water from the holes they were in to other holes creating several beams of water limiting Gaara's ability to move. A shell of sand appeared around Gaara as he was pinned. Gaara started to pour his chakra into the ground converting it into sand. He made a large hole in the ground that he hid in before covering it back up with his sand. An eye was soon made out of the sand that he used to watch outside.
The eye tracked down one of the holes one of the jellyfish entered. Gaara sent sand into the hole inorder to cover it up. The jellyfish inside started sending stronger streams of water inorder to break push away stand but it held. The jellyfish was soon flung out as the hole exploded with water. Gaara grinned to himself as he took down the jellyfish, "1 down 9 to go," he said as he prepared his next move. He sent sand to block every hole that had coming out of it. Gaara used his total concentration to keep his sand there since he could feel his sand weakening. Water soon burst out of 3 holes that jellyfish were in as they were sent flying out. Gaara's sand moved and crushed the 3 of them.
He smirked to himself as his eyes then widened. Where is the 5th one? Gaara asked to himself. Soon Gaara had to move out of the way as the a hole appeared in the hole he was hiding in and the strange tentacles of the jellyfish came out trying to stab him. Gaara took away the sand dome he had and the layer of sand he covered his spot with and made a cloud he soon flew away on.
Gaara's brown furrowed as he tried to think of a way to get out of this situation. Gaara's face lit up as a grin appeared on it, he came up with an idea; Gaara flew in between the jellyfish shooting its tentacles at Gaara and one of the ones shooting water at it. The 2 jellyfish soon hit each other with their respective attacks and both died.
Gaara sent his sand to overwhelm the final 4. The Jelly fish all started shooting more intense beams of water but the sand was too strong. Soon all 4 of the jellyfish were crushed on a wall. Zukuta moved out of the way of the exit over to Gaara. "Well done human, you've impressed me and taken out 10 jellyfish summons. You can become our summoner, we just need you to meet our boss, Lukiari."
Gaara gave a polite nod in return as they walked into a deeper part of the cave that was previously blocked off. Zukuta led Gaara deeper into the cave as they entered a massive open space with the floor being more like massive underground lake, and that was an understatement. It was more like an ocean. "Lukiari, come out and meet our new summoner!" yelled Zukuta as a large mound rose from the water. Gaara could only stare in shock at the massive creature before him.
Before Gaara could say anything, he heard a large bubbly voice that sounded like it was under water, "Hello summoner, I hope we jellyfish can help you in combat!"
Weaver looked around to see himself in the familiar cavern of his summons. "Hey Weaver, what are you doing here?" asked a familiar voice.
"I came to do a bit of training, Koko." answered Weaver.
"Ah ok, you know Shiko and I are always up to fight you," said the overly cheerful voice of Koko.
"Ok, lets go then Koko, call Shiko." said Weaver.
"Right, SHIKO WAKEY WAKEY," yelled Koko.
Bones on the ground soon started to form a full human skeleton. "Ey if it aint Weaver. I assuming you here to train."
"Yup, let's go to our training ground," replied Weaver as they ran out of the cavern to a large dead forest.
A large war pick was made in Koko's skeletal hands. Bones started connecting to make a large chain in Shiko's hands with a spear head on both ends. Weaver took out his skull staff and got into a fighting stance. All 3 of them started at the same time, Shiko threw the chain at Weaver as he hit it to the side. Weaver had to quickly jump up to avoid Koko's war pick as he swung it up. Weaver used the end of his staff to knock off Koko's head. Weaver twisted his body in the air and pointed the skull at Shiko; a large beam of chakra was fired out of it and burst Shiko into several pieces. Koko and Shiko both reformed before charging at Weaver again except they both had dual swords.
Weaver started spinning his staff to block all the slashes. Koko and Shiko both created a staff after jumping away. They both slammed their staffs into the ground; the effect was instantaneous, hands rose from the ground, skeletons were rising from the ground. Hundreds upon hundreds of skeletons rose from the ground. Both Koko and Shiko pointed their staffs at Weaver as the skeletons all charged at him. Weaver scoffed as he slammed his staff into the ground. A single large skeleton rose from the ground as it slammed its hands down on the ground.
The large skeleton started bashing the smaller skeletons a Weaver ran up its spine and landed next to Koko and Shiko before engaging in combat. Shiko swung above Weaver and Koko swung below him. Weaver jumped and twisted his body as he kicked at Koko and swung his staff at Shiko. Shiko and Koko reformed again before they changed approaches. They both broke their bodies into hundreds of pieces. Each piece started flying at Naruto trying to beat him. Weaver started knocking away every piece as he then slammed his staff on the ground sending each piece flying.
"Hey Shiko, Koko, you're going to have to try a lot harder to beat me," said Weaver a bored expression in his eyes.
