Taking a picture Eddie looks at her with satisfaction.
Normally in San Francisco Eddie would take far fewer pictures, but since he arrived in this place called Gensokyo according to his fellows fairies, then he always had something new that caught his eye and he would take a picture, a mania that was acquired as a photographer.
Looking at the pictures Eddie can see one that is him together with the three fairies making exaggerated positions for the photo.
Watching another one he took while staying with the fairies, being him cooking mixed greens and some meats he got in the forest hunting animals from nearby.
The fairies were uncomfortable with the idea of him hunting animals, but they understood that venom and he needed meat in their food.
By staying with the fairies, eddie and the symbiote learned several things about the place they were.
Apparently this gensokyo was a place for supernatural and magical creatures, and apparently common sense was unimportant around here.
He stayed with the fairies for several weeks taking pictures when necessary and going out as a venom in the night generally.
He found some pretty interesting things actually.
He usually encountered a blue fairy who challenged him to a spell card duel, but he usually ignored her, or threw her off with webs holding her back.
Flash back...
"Let me go, you idiot! Let go of me so I can show you why I am the strongest!" says a little girl with blue hair and a blue ribbon, caught in a black spider web moving violently.
Remembering this Eddie lets a little sweat fall from his forehead.
Looking at a picture of the same fairy trapped Eddie gives a small laugh.
``heh... how such a little girl can be so determined is beyond me," he says moving on to the next picture in his camera.
He had also met a little girl named Rumia walking through the forest, she had a red ribbon on her head and kept her arms outstretched floating around, when he met her he was hunting some small animals, and he kind of ended up giving some to her, something she quite liked.
He tried to take a picture of her, but for some reason the image was too dark.
Stowing the camera around his neck, Eddie begins his morning walk.
He eventually found in his research that most creatures around here resolved their fights and conflicts in something called danmaku battles.
It would be a non-lethal way to solve the conflicts around here and also give the so-called outsiders and other humans a chance against such powerful and magical creatures.
A Reimu Hakurei is the one who maintains this balance between humans and yokais.
There were several incidents that threw that balance into disarray, there was according to some accounts in the village the event known as the scarlet fog, which was a red mist that bathed all of gensokyo, and its causer seemed to be...a vampire...according to them.
She wanted to bring such an event apparently to be an ideal place for it to she roam freely at the expense of others.
Frankly, what a stupid and absurd thing to do.
But anyway...the shrine maiden managed to put an end to that vampire and her henchmen.
After that she continued to live in a mansion near a lake according to the three mischievous fairies.
``heh...maybe I should take a look later, imagine how much money we would make with a picture of a venom vampire?
I wonder how many chocolates we could buy! ' says venom mentally to his host.
Eddie rolls his eyes at that.
...well, anyway, we should get more information later in that village, but the people there are very reserved, so to speak.
`what would you think? They are constantly threatened by such yokais, at the very least they would be fools to be so conducive to such creatures.
Eddie mentally agrees with venom.
``I have the same opinion, mainly because they have the same appearance as an average normal human'' says eddie walking.
The yokais were a surprise, honestly it was very hard to swallow this whole story of magical beings and Japanese folk creatures, but who speaks is a guy who is a host for a parasitic space alien.
`Parasite!?´
venom shouts in his mind, and eddie cringes a little at the volume of his voice.
After a long time of walking.
Eddie spent some time walking to the tree house to tell the fairies that he was going to explore the area.
``Be careful!" says the little girl in orange.
``If you could pick up some tea leaves on your way back it would be appreciated'' says a little girl in white robes waving.
``Be careful Mr. Eddie and Venom-kun!" says the black-haired, blue-robed girl.
Saying a brief goodbye, Eddie bids farewell to the fairies in the little tree house in the woods.
Going deeper into the forest it gets denser and darker, a good reason for Eddie to stay alert because any minute he could be attacked.
Spending some time walking, Eddie finds something very curious.
He finds a house.
Looking at it there is nothing much, just a simple wooden house not so different from one in the village.
But the problem is, what would live in a place like a dark forest full of monsters?
`another monster...' concludes venom.
Waving Eddie takes his camera from around his neck.
`careful Eddie...I feel something in that house...something magical´
Eddie nods and walks toward the house.
Walking to the front of it he goes toward the door.
`Did you feel that?' asks venom curiously and cautiously.
Curious Eddie asks mentally.
`feel what?´
`When we passed through the backyard area of the house there were species of mushrooms, I kind of felt like they were protecting the area like some kind of barrier with the energy emitted from them...some kind of magical sensor or something, but I managed to disguise our DNA so we could pass through without triggering anything,' says venom mentally.
Eddie gives an approving groan and starts to walk into the house.
`...well, ready or not here I come' thinks brock before turning the knob.
Rangido!
Looking around inside the house, Eddie can discern one thing.
Either he has found the home of some enthusiast who likes to collect junk, or the person who lives here is a disorganized slacker.
Looking at things eddie can see that most things are books.
Curious Eddie goes near a cupboard to check a book and its contents.
Picking up a red book, Eddie begins to read.
``Fire magic for beginners...side effects death or turning into a yokai? What the hell,'' says Eddie, raising an eyebrow at this.
``magic is a concept made from the practitioner himself, each element is a definition for each user...''
Turning to another page, Eddie sees a magic system defined by elements and mysticism.
Taking a picture with your camera Eddie doesn't notice a noise behind him.
``eddie be careful!'' says venom making eddie dodge a projectile that would hit his head.
``a-Rrkck!'' curses the host, stumbling and falling to the ground.
``Who the hell are you?" says a distinctly feminine voice, slightly irritated by her tone of voice.
Eddie, lying on the ground, can see his attacker.
She is a small girl appearing to be about 1.50 tall, but from her position on Eddie she has a position that makes her quite intimidating.
She wears a kind of black pointed hat with a white bow, she has yellow hair and clothes that remind you of what a girl would wear in the middle ages.
Eddie sees her pulling a sort of shiny octagon object out of her skirt.
`Eddie be careful, I have a bad feeling if this girl uses this thing on us,' says venom mentally.
``Answer my question, what are you doing here, have you come to rob me?" says the girl, narrowing her caramel-colored eyes.
Eddie takes a dry sip at that.
Getting up, Eddie tries to argue.
``I know my actions can be misinterpreted, but I just want-'' Eddie is interrupted by the girl rudely.
``Yeah, you wanted to rob me, right I sure believe that kid, ze~~'' she says with an annoyed expression.
`I guess we're screwed, aren't we?´ thinks Eddie dryly.
`it was nice to meet you eddie...'
ALARM!
Thinking quickly Eddie manages to dodge a flurry of little balls of light as before.
The girl is surprised by Eddie's quick reaction but does not stop her attack.
Dodging a large bullet of burning energy Eddie launches himself close to the girl.
Choking her eyes at this, the girl grabs a broom and dodges Eddie's hook, flying out of the house quickly.
`Damn! She's going to get organized now, I have to be careful and get away from her by distracting her!' thinks Eddie quickly.
``Master spark! ''
Hearing his spider-sense screaming like crazy, Eddie quickly throws himself through the window of the house, breaking the window as a result.
``What the fuck was that!?" shouts Eddie, running into the forest.
Looking up from above the girl on the broom speaks.
``Don't think you're going to get away with it, you bastard,'' says the girl, flying towards the running man.
Running Eddie thinks frantically.
``What did I do to deserve this?" thinks Eddie, running desperately.
`i don´t think it was because you entered the house withount authorization´ speak venom sarcasticall.
Listening again to his spider sensor eddie dodges other spheres of light that are thrown in his direction using a web in a nearby tree.
Eddie manages to keep up this pace for a while when suddenly from the sky another ray of light appears.
Electrocuted!
``Aaaaahcrk!" venom and eddie scream simultaneously after being struck by lightning.
Falling to the ground Eddie is stunned next to the symbiote.
Descending from the sky the magical girl lands on the ground looking at Eddie.
Put it down!
``...well, this is unexpected, besides being a stupid thief you are also a yokai huh?'' she says crossing her arms.
Eddie is seen with some parts of the symbiote coating his body trying to recover from the shock.
Seeing this Marisa raises an eyebrow.
``...are you turning into a yokai...?" says Marisa uncrossing her arms and looking at the symbiote slowly coating Eddie.
`Damn, this girl is much more brutal and more lethal than those other creatures I have faced around here, I have to find some opening, but how?´
Seeing that eddie will not give up marisa declares.
``Very well, I'll finish this, I see you won't give up, but I'll put some sense into you ze~~'' she says as she prepares her Mini-Hakkero.
`We can't lose here! ' thinks eddie and venom at the same time.
``Love sign...'' says the blonde girl concentrating magical energy around her.
`if I...if I lose here I won't be able to make it up to people, I won't be able to make up for the harm I've caused! ' thinks eddie clenching his fists.
``Master...'' cries the girl, preparing her magic.
"I don't..." says Eddie.
``SPARK!'' shouts the girl, throwing a huge multicolored beam in the direction of venom.
As the lightning comes towards venom, venom speaks with all his might.
``We will not die here! ''
Boom!
A huge orb of energy is created on the ground hitting several trees because of the explosion.
Putting her arms in front of her face Marisa defends herself from the wind created by the explosion.
Looking at the scene marisa cannot see the body of the yokai-human.
Sure she may have... overreacted a little bit, but not enough to kill the poor bum.
Looking in all directions Marisa still sees nothing.
But when she looks up...
Stick!
Something is thrown in her face.
Pulling the black web-like substance from her face, Marisa sees something she would not expect from the tramp.
When looking for at him he is covered from head to toe in black.
He has white eyes and a huge mouth that makes her...a little uncomfortable, but she has seen worse.
He is quite muscular and has one thing that is quite eye-catching, being the huge white spider logo on his chest.
And the most remarkable thing was the two vampire-like Remilia wings on his back.
`I wonder if Yamame and Remilia had a child, something like this guy would come out.´ thinks marisa sarcastically.
Clenching her fists, Marisa gives herself a small smile.
``you have balls huh?...well, all right, I want to see what you got for me, you bum'' says Marisa loud enough for Eddie to hear.
Eddie, hearing this, beads of sweat pour from his face.
`she it's something, if that thing had hit me earlier it would have been instant death, since when can you create wings? ` thinks eddie with venom.
`it was the heat of the moment...but be careful eddie this girl is dangerous' says venom sternly.
Nodding his head, Eddie launches himself in the direction of the magical girl.
Smiling, Marisa takes her broom and does the same thing.
