The scene opens up to show TME and Atomsk while TME was speaking with him about things.
"Hmmm… seems last chapter went well… lets take a break from lemons for a bit and go to Cedric and Finn while they speak with Phoebe and show Finn's older mature mentality… could be interesting since it may… hehe… pardon the pun… spark Phoebe's interest in Aura, not the age up thing but Aura in general, hell Cedric could even say that with enough Aura, Finn and Cedric wouldn't need Flame shields but learning it is a good way to substitute Aura for magic since Aura is limited until recovered." TME said while he grins at Atomsk.
"Hmmm… that sounds interesting. I say let's try that." Atomsk said.
"Alright, got anything to add before we start since we did use a lot of things last chapter." TME said while he looks at Atomsk for a moment.
"Hmmm… nah. Don't want to spoil things with our fans watching." Atomsk while grinning.
"Alright, drama filled start it is than." TME said as the scene went to the Fire Kingdom throne and skipping the request with an audience with the Flame Queen.
Ooo/ Fire Kingdom/ Throne/ Finn, Cedric
"Greetings your majesty, hope we are not bothering you and getting in the way of your royal duties." Cedric said with a slight bow as he was trying to be mannerful in front of the Flame Queen as she sat on her throne while Finn stood nearby nervously as many guards eyed Finn specifically for a number of reasons… most not good.
Finn gulps at the looks as he focused at the Flame Queen, currently he didn't know her real name yet so until she was fully named, Flame Queen would be Flame Queen here.
CB stood by since he was the Flame Kingdom's Knight/Champion along with his companion, Jake 2.
After Cedric stood, he looks at the Flame Queen with a calm composed look.
"Just to check before we start this talk your highness… have you seen the video that was taken without Finn's consent?" Cedric said while he had a serious look on his face.
Flame Queen, who was sitting on her throne, was quiet as she looks at the duo.
"Oh I've seen it alright and to be honest… quite shocked to see Finn… like this." She said as she looks at the still nervous human.
"Hooo… and mind clarifying what do you mean like this?... its not like Finn is vastly different, just grown four years or so thanks to some spells changing the speed of time in a large yet still enclosed space, Finn is much more mature and stuff now so he isn't like his younger self, still considering how fresh things are you all, why not ask Finn some questions Milady?... though I do have to ask since I never heard it before but is your name your title as well?, I ask because when you and Finn dated, he never mentioned your name, just FP or Flame princess so now that your the Flame Queen or King or whatever… I'm just wondering why you never said your real name to Finn even when you two dated mainly… not the main reason why we're here, just curious since you have an honesty policy in place so I'm just speaking my mind and stuff since its my own curiosity getting to me." Cedric said with a non-chelant look about him.
Flame Queen had a slightly narrow look at Cedric but can't blame him for the question since he was being honest.
"Even when we dated, Finn never asked. But if he did… well it's a personal thing that happened when I was a baby." She said as Finn tries to put in his two scents.
"You don't have to say it if you don't want to FQ."
"Maybe, but considering the honesty policy in place, unless she wants to break it, well… I doubt she can be a hypocrite and hold back that info… it was a policy put in place by herself after all." Cedric said with an odd tone to his voice… hostility?... no… not that but it was definitely not a happy one oddly enough.
FQ was now frowning at Cedric before she looks at Finn.
"If you want to know… Finn… It's Phoebe."
As Finn blinks at the name, Cedric chuckles.
"And we have a name, now we can speak on equal footing your highness." Cedric said in a cryptic way… equal footing?... what did he mean by that.
"What do you mean equal footing?" Phoebe said with a raised eyebrow.
"Simple… I can be fully honest now while not sounding condescending by using your rank as a name… after all… from what I've seen around Ooo… if I can be honest… I'm very disappointed in a lot of things I've seen and heard here and lets just say thanks to your honesty policy I can speak my mind and not get punished… otherwise you would be a hypocrite in front of many guards, your most loyal knight, and his flaming mount… if I'm honest… everyone on Ooo… is rather pathetic… and no offense Finn… but you as well… even with the fun I had… I'm still rather… angered at how pathetic this flame queen is… Bubblegum and her being a two faced lier… Marceline and her lack of will to use her powers properly and just lounges around all day and that LSP bitch and her gossiping and Jake's lack of responsibility for doing what he did to you mainly… honestly… its no wonder why I was fucking banished here and I rarely ran into good people..." Cedric said while he had a rather deadly look in his eyes as Finn could feel an anger infused Aura emit from him.
The guards narrowed their eyes at Cedric as Phoebe was quiet before Finn broke the silence.
"W-Wait… you were banished here Master?"
"Yeah… and before you ask Finn… remember what I said about Aura… does my Aura look like I'm lying when I say I was banished and it wasn't my fault?" Cedric said while he gave Finn the cold look and while Finn gulps, he did focus his aura to his eyes while many were confused by the Aura term and after a moment, Finn got wide eyes.
"Oh Glob your telling the truth… why were you banished if people could read your aura?" Finn said as Cedric growls.
"Because of some people being able to hide that subtle tell… there was a shitty trial held with evidence pretty much framing me for a crime I didn't commit and I was banished from the Island where humans and Aura users dwell… the first expedition was before my banishment… it was when Kingdoms were starting to kick up like the Candy Kingdom and other things… we stayed more or less as outsiders and didn't interfere with kingdoms starting up… I was sent here years later and lets just say I am very angered at how shitty this land is from the Candy Kingdom to this one… you may have not read Bubblegum's aura but I did when we talked with her… she flat out lied to us about her and her Banana guards waking to Aura and as we were getting here, I heard so many people fighting and arguing with my enhanced senses with this honesty policy that all I can think of was an immature brat who was given power she is not ready for and this Kingdom was more or less evil before she took the throne… what's to stop people from revolting and putting things back the way they were?... and don't even get me started about stuff I heard from other kingdoms… nuff said Ice King kidnaps princesses, Wildberry does things that would get her targeted by assassins, hell even Slime princess has weapons of mass destruction at the ready and I heard from my travels that if any kingdom tries to invade… full army retaliation so they don't look like the bad guys… so yeah… I was banished… I told a half truth when we met Finn because if I told you I was banished, given your mentality at the time I highly doubt you would agree to my training… but now I am so fucking tired of it all… my banishment… Bubblegum… this fucking honesty poilicy made by a hypocrite… everything from most Kingdoms… all of it." Cedric growled out as his features look a bit… warped when a dark aura starts to emit from him and his face starts to look obscured and his teeth looked liked they sharpened a bit.
Finn and everyone else in the throne room was shocked when they heard everything but Finn was more shocked to find out that Bubblegum was lying to them about Aura.
Phoebe though felt pissed about the insult towards her.
"I may understand your anger on Bubblegum but… Who are you calling a hypocrite? I have not lied to anyone and I ma-!" Phoebe tried to say as Cedric moved with such speeds that he had a finger at Phoebe's forehead and he said this with an ice cold tone that stopped many from moving.
"Silence… I call you a hypocrite because you don't see how your own actions harm your people… I call you a hypocrite because you used force to take the throne of the Fire Kingdom and forced your own rules like how Finn forced you and Ice King to fight… first time may have been his fault but the other two times were not… he was influenced by an outside source and all I get aside from the Cosmic owl was a person Finn cared for… and I'm guessing Jake because I highly doubt Bubblegum will tolerate stuff like this, Marceline wouldn't use Simon and Finn hangs around Jake who I heard is a Cosmic Owl nut by proxy of elimination if you use your fucking head…. I'm over 500 years old and way beyond jaded you fucking brat so don't think I won't kill you… your guards… and pretty much run wild in your Kingdom if many here want that evil mentality back and not even Finn can stop me… so I call you a hypocrite simply for one reason… you may have made that honesty policy but ask this… have you ever tried to talk things out with Finn about that moment?... have you ever considered that Finn being messed up about romance by many would follow anyone's advice?... because if you never even considered ALL factors… you're a hypocrite more than anyone because you pretty much used just as much force to take over a Kingdom as much as you destroyed one… I even heard about the Goblin Kingdom and that was because of slight confusion… tell me what makes you so special that aside from a small time in a lamp till you were 14… you get to nearly destroy a Goblin kingdom?... try and think before you speak because I can and WILL pierce your fucking skull if you-!" Cedric tried to say as he had to use an arm to block a kick from Finn of all people as Cedric was knocked harshly from Phoebe and Finn, though nervous did get between Cedric and this time Finn was on guard as he looks at his seemingly berserked master while Cedric was hunched over while looking at his arm.
"Master… you need to chill. You may be powerful but… I can't let you harm my friends." Finn said.
Cedric however looks at his arm while he had a really twisted look in his eyes when he looks at Finn like madness was consuming him.
"So… you're betraying me as well huh Finn?" Cedric said though a new voice did get everyone's attention.
"No… he is trying to get you to see sense Cedric." A cloaked figure similar to Cedric said as he made himself known… and Finn could see an Aura bursting from him in a constant Ren state much to Finn's shock and remembered something that Cedric mentioned once as the figure stopped near Cedric while a glowing green eye was seen under the hood past the shadows.
Cedric's eyes widened when he recognised the voice.
"It's been a long time… Emerald." He said as his voice went normal.
"Yeah… considering your mentality right now I'm only going to say this once… either calm down so we can talk peacefully later or I'll knock you out… you maybe more experienced than I in the past given your talent but when have you ever beaten me in a battle of attrition when it came to Aura use… I may not be like Aggro but-!" The Cloaked figure called Emerald said but he had to block a hit from Cedric when this Aggro guy was mentioned and Cedric looked way beyond berserk now.
"YOU DARE BRING UP HIS NAME?!" Cedric roars.
Whoever this Aggro guy was… he's definitely not Cedric's friend.
Finn tries to reason with him.
"Master, calm down! Try to meditate!" He said.
"Kid… you're barking up the wrong tree right now… when it comes to guys like Cedric…" Emerald said as he gripped Cedric's wrist tightly and pulled Cedric in and with his other fist drew back… said this.
"You need to let him sleep it off!" Emerald said as he slugged Cedric in the chest and when he hits Cedric, he was pretty much smashed into the ground making the room rumble and a small impact crater was made by Emerald when he bashed Cedric into the ground and Emerald's hood fell back to show a human of all things and Emerald had brown hair that went down to his shoulders and green colored eyes that looked full of regret as he stands over a now knocked out Cedric… though as Phoebe raised a hand to get her guards to apprehend Cedric… Emerald spoke with a calm tone.
"With all due respect your highness… you have no right to do a damn to Cedric… I'll take over for him since I'm a legal Aura representative of Aura fighters… Cedric was banished here so I was brought here to check on how Ooo has developed and your cells and guards wouldn't stand a chance of even holding Cedric as they are now so use your brain before you make a mistake if your temper is guiding you… trust me… I would end everyone here calmly if anyone tried to harm Cedric right now… believe me as bad as he seems now… well… he is not evil… I can assure you… you would be jaded and emotionally damaged as well if you were forced to stay in one place, even huge away from family and friends for years on end… remind you of anything Mrs. Lived in a lamp?" Emerald said when he gave Phoebe a cold look when he saw some guards aim their spears at him and Cedric.
Phoebe was quiet after hearing Emerald speak and after a moment, she looks at her guards.
"Stand down." She said.
The guards looked hesitant but did so as Emerald bowed deeply to Phoebe.
"Thank you your highness… I'll return later to make a real apology later but for now I believe its best for everyone if we wait a few days before I return… Finn… come by the treefort later, trust me, you'll be getting a lot of answers on how Cedric became what he was and why he snapped… and don't worry… while its true Bubblegum lied and a group of people will be getting answers from her… she won't be harmed, that much I can promise… but for now… just believe me when I say that Cedric right now was just so… tired and he finally snapped at how he went from one problematic princess to the next… and your highness… with all due respect… get rid of this honesty policy… not everyone is like you and afraid of people lying to them… honestly shows a lack of trust on your part." Emerald said as he picked up Cedric carefully.
"And I say this because of this policy… but I will let you know here and now… that aside from mass numbers… your Kingdom has no real defense against Aura users… if push comes to shove… Cedric won't be the real threat to you and your Kingdom… I will be… after all… whats stopping your kingdom from going back to its evil ways and wanting to go to war with other kingdoms?... lets face it… Ooo's kingdom's have serious problems and words alone won't fix them… you want a way to change this kingdom for the better… take the same training Finn did if you have the aptitude… come by the treefort in a few days, I'll introduce you to someone who can make you stronger and give you the mental training to help you see how your kingdom will be going if you keep this line of ruling as is… and like Cedric I'm much older than I look so I've seen Kingdoms in Ooo rise and fall for lesser issues." Emerald said as he walked out of the throne room and no one stopped him.
Finn who was shocked about everything, did look at Phoebe and believed it was time for him to go… quickly.
"Sorry about… well everything Phoebe. If you don't want me to return here, I'll understand." He said before turning around and leave.
He took only 3 steps but stopped before turning around.
"I am sorry for hurting you. I know I apologised before but… I didn't fully understand until after my training. It was wrong and messed up of me to manipulate you like that. I should've been honest with you from the beginning. I'm also sorry for messing up when you asked me to help you stop your dad and Don John. Even though you said we're old business, I was still hoping to win you back but… I was too blind to see the truth. I totally get it now. Hopefully you and I can still be friends." Finn said before he resumes walking out.
After Finn left, Phoebe groans as she held her head with her hands when she had so many thoughts in her head, she looks at CB and said this.
"I'm… going to take a nap… try and have someone fix the damage here and I should feel a lot better tomorrow… right now I need to think and not try and get a headache." Phoebe said when she honestly didn't see her day going this way.
"S-Sure thing milady." CB said.
The scene than went to much later when Cedric was starting to come to and he looked at a night sky… a moment later he saw a woman who looked a lot like him but with antler horns on her head looking down at Cedric with a worried look on her face.
"Dad!... hey everyone, Dad's waking." the woman said when she helped Cedric into a sitting position as he groans a bit since his body still ached and the memory of Emerald's fist knocking him out flashed in his mind for a moment.
"S-Serenity?" Cedric said he gets up a bit.
"Where's Emerald?"
"Right here." Emerald said and when Cedric looked over, he was shocked to see a large number of people from his past here… so much so that he rubbed his eyes as Emerald chuckles as Finn was going around and giving people drinks as the Water Nymphs were here or there flirting with people and Jake and Lady came by to check on Finn and were mingling as well… looked like a party of some sort and Cedric looked further confused while Emerald chuckles as he approached Cedric.
"Sorry about the knock out hit man, had to stop you before you did something you'll regret and no, you're not seeing things, many people are here, more so that for usual expeditions and for one hell of a reason…. Oh and you were out for about… 5 hours or so… seems you really lost your edge if you lost you touch from your anger and stuff if you were out for 5 hours." Emerald said as he smiles at Cedric.
Cedric blinks a bit before sighing.
"No kidding… Guess I was tired from all the crap I was seeing." He said.
"No kidding… we have people watching Bubblegum and stuff even after a small interrogation from Lillum… need to make sure Bubblegum doesn't try anything stupid, seems she did awaken her Aura and stuff and it was more or less to try and not worry you about it since you seemed to have a lot on your plate and that was the truth… lack of communication nearly caused you to do something you'll regret later… anyway I didn't explain much to Finn until you would wake so… hey Finn!, Cedric is awake." Emerald said to get Finn's attention and when Finn looked over, Emerald grins at he points a thumb at an awaken Cedric while Serinity supports Cedric.
"Master!" Finn said before quickly going to him.
"Master, I'm glad you're okay. I'm sorry for that kick it's just-!" He said before Cedric stopped him.
"No need for apologies kid… you did the right thing."
"Yeah, Cedric would have gone through with his threat if you haven't stopped him… honestly you have stones Kid, hehe Minerva would be proud… and before you ask Cedric, did a blood test since Minerva asked me of this, turns out Finn IS Minerva's kid, Finn was pretty damned shocked… guess that means you and Finn have more in common after what we saw you and a few Minerva Bots do." Emerald said in a teasing way as Finn looks confused on that part.
"Bots?... what Master did?" Finn said as Emerald got a overly serious look on his face.
"Indeed Finn… After you vanished from the Island, which we are still clueless on how it happened, if things went well with Cedric impressing your mother… Cedric… would have been your father!" Emerald said as Finn yelled this.
"NOOO!... Wait why am I yelling that?... freaking comics!, popped into my head with that…" Finn said as Emerald gave Cedric a half lidded look.
"That subliminal thing is still working Cedric?... no wonder he gave a reaction like that… anyway other Aura users and myself have fooled around with your mom as well so don't worry, no real romance and stuff since the lady is a hive mind now controlling many bots… still to get to the heart of the matter… Cedric… many of us came here for you with an offer to come back to the Island… many of us have found evidence that pretty much overturn most things that were used against you… and Aggro and Bordux and others in his inner circle have gone missing only making them look more suspicious… not only that… while many objected… mainly the Elders to try and save face… well lets just say that I managed to get the title of War God from Xan… you can guess what that means right?... had to do that to even get everyone here." Emerald said as Cedric looked shocked… War God… no way…
"You… actually beat Xan!?... same Xan that taught many of us what we know!?" Cedric said as Emerald nods his head.
"Yeah… one hell of a fight… but after everything I found out and wanting to help you man… pretty much took the War God title and now I'm the strongest Aura user currently, Xan didn't want to stop us but his hands were tied thanks to those Damned Elders… after the fight he even helped give us a massive boat so many of us could leave the Island… some humans as well though they are more or less in a bunker for safety until we can make a town here and stuff… if we can't get you back home… may as well make a home with you joining us." Emerald said with a grin as he crossed his arms.
Cedric was shocked after hearing this.
"Wow… well congrats Emerald on the title. I had hoped you guys found evidence on my innocence. I still hoped to come home to see my family and friends… even finally see Azure."
"Wow, bit of a lack of reaction… than again your body seems relieved if those tears on your face are anything to go by." Emerald said while he points at his eyes and Cedric in reflex used a hand and felt tears.
"Oh and about Azure… we have some good news, interesting news, and some… well… not so good news… nuff said if you start to go ballistic I will knock you out again if I have to… want the good news first?" Emerald said when he raised an eyebrow at Cedric with a curious look.
Cedric was quiet for a bit as he had a half lidded look.
"Might as well say the good news first."
"Right… Azure is actually here with us, after hearing about your innocence she was one of the first to volunteer… just need to find her if you doubt me but we can do that after the interesting news and bad news… trust me you'll need to process the last two." Emerald said when he rubs his head when those two pieces of news were said.
Cedric was shocked when he heard this.
"Where is she?" He said as he looks around before Serenity comically bops him on the head.
"Calm down pops. You just woke up."
"Yeah… and well… the Interesting news is well… Azure had a daughter while you were gone and dude… again will knock you out before you will try a rampage so give me 30 seconds when I say the bad news… the father… was Aggro and no… no romance… she had a heat cycle and Aggro took advantage of that…. Daughter's name is Nala and hates her dad just as much as you hate Aggro… Nala is a nice woman if you get to know her… happened a year after your banishment." Emerald said while he looked ready to act in case Cedric went berserk and Finn comically hid behind a random person who passed by while they look confused though realized why when they panicked at seeing Cedric and could guess Cedric was told the bad and interesting news all at once and couldn't get from Finn's grip.
"I see… well if this Nala woman hates her father… that's fine but…" He said before the scene shows the outside treefort, or to be exact far from it since many were outside of the treefort, and this happens…
"YOU SON OF A BITCH, AGGRO!"
Many looked shocked when Cedric was panting and what not as Emerald, though on guard, pats Cedric on the back when he sat next to him.
"Feel better after that shout dude?" Emerald said since Cedric did unleash a lot of electrical energy with his aura as well making many peoples hair and fur stand on end.
Though this did cause a familiar female voice to be heard.
"Guess this is my cue to run damage control huh?, figured I would find you all here if I traced the shouting and sparks." A female voice said as Cedric and the others look over to show a woman with ebony skin, black and red hair while she had red cat ears on her end while they were tipped with black furry bits and Cedric's eyes widened when he looked into the red colored eyes of this woman with shock, she wore a interesting outfit that was rather loose and heavyset with a trench coat and jeans but wore slip on shoes and had a fireball icon on the front and a cat tail on her backside that was seen… the kicker was a black flame at the end of the tail and the woman had a hand on her hip when she looks at Cedric.
"A-Azure?" Cedric said when he felt like he was dreaming.
"Yup Spark butt, or did leaving the island a few hundred years have you forget about me already." Azure said with a smirk as she approached Cedric and stopped before him.
"Spark butt?" Serenity said as Cedric blushes in embarrassment.
"Hehe, yeah, its because Cedric liked to use electric abilities with his aura… if you watch closely his tail would light up near the end with an electrical trail when he moves at high speed… ergo… I used to call him spark butt after he trained enough to do that." Azure said with a grin on her face.
"Nice to meet you by the way Serenity, didn't get to introduce myself to you yet… sorry if Cedric here caused you issues, guy can be a bit… shocking with his personality sometimes." Azure said as Emerald chuckles while Cedric facepalm.
"You hung around Emerald too much for a joke like that." Cedric said as Emerald grins at Cedric.
"Well after Aggro left Azure and I had a few flings and spars, you were gone for awhile after all, nothing serious though… to be honest she still has that picture frame of you two on your first ever date and stuff." Emerald said as Azure blushed a bit from that.
Cedric also blushes a bit.
"R-Really?" He said.
"Yeah… well… bet you have a few momentos of some dates we had… really cherished them… just because you were banished at the time didn't mean I didn't stop thinking about you after all." Azure said as Emerald grins.
"Yeah… even insulted me once when she actually called your name in the act… man you must have-UGH!" Emerald said as Azure slugged him in the stomach and Emerald fell back as Azure's fist comically steamed as Emerald groans from that sudden hit.
"Never learn Emerald." Cedric said before he looks at Azure.
"Very happy to see you again Azure. During my banishment, all I can about was going back and see you. I never did give up hope. Though during the banishment… I did get married and have daughter. I have no regrets though about that… except…" Cedric said before feeling a bit sad as Serenity pats his back before looking at the others.
"We don't talk about it but… mom was raped by bandits before those sick bastards… got rid of her." She said.
Emerald on his end chuckles a bit as he sat up and before Cedric and Serinity got pissed, Emerald said this.
"Well… why not bring her back if she hasn't reincarnated… thanks to some prodding, Bubblegum's butler told me how to get to the Dead worlds… and not in a ritual way we had back home… oddly simple… and after doing some digging and feel free to slug me for this… but got this when I located your old home and well…" Emerald said as he held something in his hand when he summoned it… a broken horn… well Emerald did get slugged by Cedric though he did caught the horn as Emerald stumbles to his feet.
"O-Ok… anyone else want to sucker punch me while I'm dazed?" Emerald said when he looked like he was about to pass out with the next blow.
"Depends… hope the reason you got a piece of my mom's body is good otherwise I may just end you for that." Serenity said with a slight snarl as Emerald rubs his jaw.
"Ugh… simple… cloning technology and a deal with Death… Finn told me how he got a plants soul back for a… princess plant or whatever that is after Finn and Jake let it die… we clone your wife a new body, get her soul if she hasn't reincarnated yet since I heard from others in the Death clan when I tracked them down that some souls don't reincarnate for awhile, and boom… we make a deal with Death and your wife is revived with a brand new body, we got tech that we brought here from the island so add Bubblegum's tech to help iron some things out for non-human use and boom…" Emerald said as he looks at Cedric to see what he thought.
Cedric blinks a few times after hearing that but he was cautious.
"I do want to see my wife again but I have to ask… What deal do we make with Death?" He said.
"Well I don't think saying Peppermint butler sent us will give her soul like Death did with the princess plant so I have a few ideas, I'll keep them to myself since almost all are not that… detrimental besides the final one." Emerald said when he shrugged his shoulders.
"Well word of warning… beware of flesh crazed skeletons and don't drink the water there or you'll lose your memory." Finn said.
"Noted… so speaking of which… going to visit Death now so wish me luck." Emerald said as he got to his feet while many look surprised by that sudden announcement.
"W-Wait… you're going already?" Someone said as Cedric spoke up.
"Emerald, I appreciate what you'll do but we could just wait till Death shows up himself. He's supposed to knock up the jungle princess when she's of age."
"Two things… one, do you know how old she is and even if she is 17 and approaching her mature years soon… do you know when that day is?" Emerald said as Cedric opened his mouth but facepalms that he didn't.
"Yeah… besides going to Death is much faster if we use the Peppermint Butler method… we can ask about the festival there and maybe you and your wife could get down and funky there if its an orgy type thing from what I gathered hehe… besides… someone has to help make up for the shitty time you went through… may as well do that myself." Emerald said while he grins at Cedric and gave him a thumbs up to show a no problem type gesture.
"Well… if you're sure Emerald." Cedric said as Serenity was happy.
"This is great dad, we're gonna see mom again." She said.
