A scene opens up with Atomsk and TME talking and sharing ideas.
"Good to be doing this again. And don't worry, there's no flashback this time dudes ." Atomsk said.
"Unless something happens hehe… still we should focus on the here and now for now… you said you had an idea for Phoebe right?" TME said when he looks curiously at Atomsk.
"Hehe, oh yeah. Though should I explain it with the readers watching?" Atomsk said as he points at them.
"Sure, go nuts man." TME said when he grins at his friend.
"Okay, well it's obvious that after 3 days, Phoebe takes Emerald's advice and actually goes to Finn's house. Now before that two things can happen during the 3 days beforehand. 1) Cynthia comes back in the 1st day which leads to a family reunion. 2) Finn can hehe… interact with Serenity and Ruby, if she makes an appearance, and Finn can show off his protosaber moves. Also, Finn could take Felicia on dates and be his girlfriend." Atomsk said.
"Hmmm… maybe… will need to remind me who is who since its been awhile." TME said when he was curious on who Felica was for a moment since its a rarely used name.
"Felicia is Elena's younger twin and leader of the Death Clan? She tested Finn thanks to Cedric's plan and now Finn is part of the Death Clan. He also lost his v-card and knows the tiers thanks to Felicia and her Death Clan ladies." Atomsk said.
"Oh yeah, I remember her now… might as well now that Finn is now fully 18 and stuff, he never did get to go on an official date yet right?" TME said when he looks curiously at Atomsk.
"True, plus I think Felicia is one year younger than Finn or something and Elena would soon be visited by Death… if anyone catches that drift." Atomsk said before nudging TME a few times.
"Yeah, the festival and stuff… nearly forgot about that… we give a set time or just that its approaching?" TME said when he crossed his arms.
"Um… I'm not sure. Might have to look at some notes later to see if we missed something. Want to just start the chap now?" Atomsk said.
"May as well… got a good starting point?, when did we last end the previous chapter?" TME asked since its been awhile since the last chapter.
"Uh yeah. Can be… a day after Cedric sees his friends and reunites with Azure. Plus this would be after the lemon that Finn, Cedric and Emerald experienced." Atomsk said.
"Fair enough…" TME said as the scene shifts to...
Ooo/ Flame Kingdom/ Phoebe's room/ Phoebe
Currently Phoebe was brushing her fiery hair after she rested up from what happened recently with Cedric, Finn, and Emerald showing up to subdue Cedric… honestly the last few days were rather… hectic to say the least… more so when she heard from a few scouts that many people were moving into live around Finn's treefort all of a sudden… other Aura users.
'Glob… more of them.' Phoebe thought but can't say nothing bad since she hasn't met any other auran users, at least truly friendly ones, besides Finn and Emerald.
Speaking of… she still remembered what Emerald said.
"With all due respect your highness… you have no right to do a damn to Cedric… I'll take over for him since I'm a legal Aura Representative of Aura Fighters… Cedric was banished here so I was brought here to check on how Ooo was developed and your cells and Guards wouldn't stand a chance of even holding Cedric as they are now so use your brain before you make a mistake if your temper is guiding you… trust me… I would end everyone here calmly if anyone tried to harm Cedric now… believe me as bad as he seems now… well… he is not evil… I can assure you… you would be jaded and emotionally damaged as well if you were forced to stay in one place, even huge away from family and friends for years on end… remind you of anything Mrs. Lived in a lamp" Emerald said when he first talked with Phoebe back when he first subdued Cedric before taking the berserk Aura user away… Emerald may come back in a few days but no one said about her paying a visit to get this drama over with she remembered more like no defenses against aura users and other things but the fact of the matter was that Emerald seemed like the person to speak with in peaceful matters in a nutshell.
'Could this Emerald man be right about this? Can aura truly help me?' Phoebe thought before she remembered hearing that Finn is an auran user thanks to LSP's gossip.
Not to mention how much the human change in both appearance… and how mature Finn was.
Thinking that made Phoebe blush a bit.
Honestly he was a complete 180 from his past self and if it was true he was 18 or so… well he was pretty mature now after all… maybe mentally as well… maybe talking with him to see how things can go will do her some good instead of sitting around and what not.
"Alright… I'm gonna go to Finn and then talk with Emerald." Phoebe said.
Thanks to this, Phoebe in a new outfit of armored top dress like skirt, and armored gauntlets and leggings, she had a more more battle ready figure but not restricted like her former armor was… finally she gained many Flame guards, male and female in armored suits while she walked to a certain office where her Knight CB was speaking with a woman around her age, maybe a year older, Blaze… she was training under an old Advisor to become her new advisor and she was talking with CB on things.
"So… how do you two think peace talks will go once we get to the Grasslands?" Phoebe asked while she sat in front of CB in a chair next to Blaze… Blaze was a blue fired cat like flame person with a long flaming tail… she was intelligent and had some glasses on her face to complete the advisor look as well.
"Well to be honest… I'm not sure. We know nothing of these Aura users but witnessing what Cedric and Emerald can do proves that we shouldn't antagonize them. However, Emerald seems more logical to talk to when he mentioned his experience." Blaze said.
"Yeah, however given the context of what he said… he may not be fully allied as well… more neutral given that he could attack us if we do anything bad… listen Phoebe, I know you want to do some peace talks… but at least take the Royal Guard with you as well and Blaze here to help with peace talks… thanks to some connections to a few old contacts in the Candy Kingdom like Starchy, I heard that they are making a Kingdom around Finn's treefort so we need to be careful since we saw what Emerald could do alone to his friend… think of what he could do to to a person not prepared." CB said when he looks at Phoebe while the memory of Emerald punching Cedric into the ground was still remembered well.
Phoebe was thoughtful for a bit.
"Alright… but I will also need you to come with me CB."
"Very well… I'll pack light since I doubt armor would do much with these guys, besides going with a fully armored battalion wouldn't be the most… friendly type of visit." CB said when he looks out of the window and saw a large battalion of flame soldiers all ready on flame wolves and fully decked out in armor making Phoebe chuckle a bit nervously while she scratched her cheek.
"Well… can't be too careful right?" Phoebe said.
"Maybe… have your guards at ease and lets just get the Royal guard and we leave for the Grasslands…" CB said as he, Phoebe, four other strong warriors, and Blaze all rode Flame wolves toward the Grasslands and well… they were surprised to see a large massive wall like structure blocking them from getting any closer and a rough voice was heard.
"Halt!, who goes there!?" A voice called out as a figure jumped from the wall and lands before the group of flame people and Candy person to show a rough looking woman with many scars on her well trained body while she had a rather attractive figure with barely hidden C to D cup breasts, wide hips, and all she wore was combat boots, a tank top, and long cargo pants while she had ebony skin and a spear in hand while she had some black hair and a spear in her hand.
Some of the Royal Flame Guards, both men and women, and the flame wolves blush when they saw the woman, as did Blaze and Phoebe for a bit before Phoebe composed herself.
"I am Phoebe, Queen of the Flame Kingdom, and I come to speak with Finn the Human and Emerald."
The woman raised an eyebrow and she said this as she rests her spear on her shoulders.
"And why should I let you and your group in?... either state the reason for seeing Emerald and Finn or turn around and leave… just to let you know I maybe the sole guard here… but thats because I'm one of the stronger Aura users and if you don't know about them well…" the woman said when she raised her foot and stoped on the ground causing a deep crack in the ground.
"Just an example but know that its not just my power I rely on… its my throwing power and before you ask… I can throw multiple spears at once… name is Leonel the Lioness, guardian of the western gate so unless you give a truthful answer that satisfies me, you won't be entering at all." The now identified Leonel said as she gave the group an unflinching gaze like she really would take all of them on if they were here to cause trouble.
The group, though shook up, stood their ground.
"I come here to make peace talks with Emerald. He also said that there could be someone that can teach me the way of Aura." Phoebe said.
Leonel hums as she heard this and moved out of the way.
"Very well… you may enter." Leonel said surprising many… just like that they can enter?
"R-Really?… Just like that?" One Royal Guard said with a surprised look.
"Aura users can tell a truth from a lie with their eyes alone, if you told a lie I would know it… what?, you want me to be annoying and be old school and get people or do you not want a simple way in?" Leonel said when she raised an eyebrow at the group.
The Royal Guard jolted.
"No." He said as he shook his head.
"Good… now get going, we got some bandits approaching and I need to get ready to target them… seems you were followed without you knowing." Leonel said as she spun her spear in her hand while she walked by the group as the Flame people and what not looked confused as Leonel used a sweep of her spear and smashed the skull of a bandit that was invisible next to her making the body drop to the group while she said this.
"No use using invisibility spells, we have people who are trained to deal with that." Leonel said as she spun her spear and the blood vanished from the spear itself.
The group were shocked as they couldn't believe they were followed by some bandits and didn't sense them.
Many bandits revealed themselves as one looks amused.
"Hehe, guess that guy got too close and didn't see what he was doing…. Still its 40 to 1 bitch, why not just stand aside or my men and I will-!" The apparent boss said while Leonel had a disinterested look as she snapped her fingers and many spears shot from empty space like warps appeared and well… all of the bandits were killed by many flying spears.
"Good grief… wish I didn't have this ability… so many low level mobs getting killed… boring." Leonel said as she snapped her fingers and her many spears vanished and she started walking back to the others with a disinterested look on her face.
The Royal flame group once again were shocked.
"Dude… that was epic." One Royal guard said.
"Not really?... honestly being alive for nearly 600 years and you see a lot, arrogant assholes and what not, best to kill guys like that, if they had any redeeming Aura, would have showed mercy but none of them had good intentions… anyway enter and stuff, I need to keep up the boring guard duty here until my shift is over." Leonel said while gesturing for the group to enter.
Most sweatdrop before Phoebe and her guards enter the gate entrance.
Once the group entered, they were surprised to see many massive buildings with paved streets and many large buildings that got shorter the closer they got to the Treefort like the larger buildings were shields for the smaller buildings.
"My word… how can they build a city like this in just a few days?" Blaze said.
"Aura power?" One of the Royal guard said when nothing would surprise him now though a person walking by did say this to the group.
"Eh your half right, and we did have over 1000 people here with Aura so heavy lifing and stuff isn't an issue." The person said before they left the confused flame people as more people walked around them doing their own thing.
The Royal flame group then continues their walk til they were getting close to the tree fort.
Once they got close, they saw a large crowd and when the curious flame elementals got by the crowd, they saw Finn while he was fighting Emerald with simple swords but Emerald's left arm looked completely different than when Emerald first shown himself… Emerald was using his right arm mainly when he turned, dodged, and blocked and parried Finn's strikes so fast that he actually left some blurs where he was while Cedric was being the ref as he was watching this match.
"Remember Finn, a guy like Emerald won't be easy, if you are an Aura user, you're still a newbie, try and read his aura, he won't just let you hit him after all." Cedric said when Emerald forced Finn back when Finn did a jump slash to try and over power Emerald's one arm but failed… this was when the advice came in for Finn to hear.
'Read his Aura… of course!' Finn thought before sensing Emerald's Aura and his eyes glow as the crowd watched.
This results in Emerald moving a bit faster to see how well Finn would do and from Finn's POV that Finn saw a spectral double only he and Aura users could see… was still a bit fast but Finn was able to ready where Emerald was going at least… this fight than shocked Phoebe and the others when Finn moved with shocking speed and Emerald was forced to block the hit when he was stopped mid step and Emerald for the first time was forced back a couple steps when Finn had a grin on his face and a moment later Finn starts to barrage Emerald with moves and while Emerald blocked them, Finn was a surprising fighter and after he used a move where he used Aura in his hand to actually grab the sword, Finn used a stabbing move and Emerald barely dodged the attack… getting a nick on his cheek and he moved to get out of Finn's grip and used a couple fingers to touch his cheek with his altered arm and Emerald chuckles when he looks at Finn.
"Not bad… not many would go for the sword like that… hey Cedric… permission to use actual attacks and Aura on my blade so Finn can't just grab a sword?... he should know Aura users do the same thing I just said so not like I'm calling BS." Emerald said when he grins at Finn when he wanted to get a bit serious making Finn gulp a bit.
'Oh boy.' Finn said.
"Granted… but be careful with him. Don't want Minerva to get on our asses for this." Cedric said.
"Right… Finn… word of advice, if you don't want your weapon to break… do what I do… trust me… will save you plenty of weapons if you encase it in Aura… makes even paper a deadly weapon if Aura is used so stuff like this…" Emerald said as he encased his sword in Aura so thick… it actually looked like a green glowing lightsaber much to Finn's shock as Emerald smirks.
"Aside from the need for the saber light show that you see thanks to the unique materials in the blade… you can get how deadly the weapon can get… and best of all…" Emerald said as his sword turned a rainbow of colors at will while Finn's eyes sparkle when he could get his own lightsaber… in a literal sense with the glow around an actual blade but a cool close second.
"So cool." Finn said before he tries applying aura to his blade.
Thankfully it did work but unfortunately while he did get a blue blade… he couldn't make it change color and Emerald chuckles as he went with a green blade.
"Practice makes perfect kid, everyone gets one color initially and a blue color is a pretty calm tranquil color, seems you really matured under Cedric's lessons to get that kind of rare color." Emerald said while Phoebe heard the words mature when it came to Finn and the color of his technical Aurasaber if that term could be used… granted its only thanks to the material that Phoebe and non aura users could see the color but still a blue glow nonetheless.
'Very matured indeed.' Phoebe thought which made her blush a bit from that as Finn chuckles.
"Yeah, Master is a great teacher. Granted some lessons were harsh, still took it to heart."
"Sometimes in the heart when some lessons really caused me to bust his rib cage a bit before healing it." Cedric said as Finn pales as he held his chest while Cedric chuckles before Emerald heard a clock ringing.
"Hmm?... hey Finn lets make this Quick… had to leave Cynthia with Death and Life for a bit when they wanted to teach her a bit more on some things so she wouldn't feel left out on stuff… one minute match… if you can hit me again and I mean really get through my Aura… I'll teach you a really advance skill… if not… well… guess its back to basics with you." Emerald said when he gave a grin as he looks at Cedric… guess the 24 hour thing was extended off screen or something.
"Get ready to start the minute timer man… after that getting your wife from the afterlife hehe." Emerald said when he looks back at Finn who got in a guarded stance.
Cedric sweatdrops for a bit.
"Okay… begin!"
After this happened, for the next minute, Phoebe and the others were shocked when they watched Finn as he moved with such speed that he was an actual blur with Emerald looking the same and they clashed swords so fast that they could barely see either of their sword swings… if it wasn't for the fact that Aura exists and many cheered, Emerald and Finn would be superhuman in Ooo standards… though as the fight when to the 30 second Mark, Finn faltered when he couldn't keep up with Emerald's output of Aura and Emerald kicked Finn hard and chased Finn before he could recover and slugged Finn in the chin rattling his brain and making Finn stumble back a bit… as Finn fell back and it was nearing the 40 second mark, Emerald had a sword at Finn's neck to keep him from moving and with a grin, Emerald said this.
"Hehe, looks like you lose kid, try again when you hone your skills… not bad for a rookie though, had worse fights believe it or not." Emerald said when he grins at Finn as Cedric stopped the timer and Emerald helped Finn to his feet and supports him as the swords stopped glowing.
Finn lightly groans a bit.
"Well… I'll just need to practice my moves harder now to get better." He said as Cedric chuckled.
"Good motivation but don't work yourself too hard, kid."
"Unless you want to try and impress the ladies… I'm sure that fiery Queen there who saw the spar was impressed." Emerald said with a grin as Finn blinks and when he looks he jolts when he saw Phoebe who had an awestruck look on her face when she looks at Finn.
"P-Phoebe?" Finn said as he did expect Phoebe to be here along with CB, Blaze and her Royal guards.
Funnily enough Finn's saber lit up with a pink glow and Emerald and many others look amused.
"Hehe, Finn… you may want to hide that… a pink saber?... dude… its like telling your feelings… sure I say you can't pick your aura yet but spontaneous emotions do effect the blade and well… either that is a lovestruck Aura or one of pure lust hehe." Emerald said with an amused grin as he nudged a blushing Finn.
Finn jolts before he tries to calm down which deactivates though Phoebe did blush when she heard that and didn't know which aura Finn gave off… despite the fact that Phoebe is 3 years younger than Finn thanks to him aging faster though the question is…
Does the human still feel something for her?
The young Flame Queen would think on that later as she approaches Finn and Emerald.
"Hey Finn. Nice spar with Emerald. Very interesting." She said.
"T-Thanks… still lost though." Finn said as a person that Phoebe never met, a wolf woman with horns on her head chuckles as she walked near Finn and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Dude, you fought 40 seconds against a Aura monster like Emerald, most can't say that, my dad really trained you well, pretty sure if you fought other Aura users, you would have a much better time." The wolf woman said as she looks at Phoebe.
"Nice to meet you, your flaming highness, names Serenity, I'm Cedric's daughter." Serenity said when she smiles at Phoebe kindly.
Phoebe blinks a bit as she can see resemblance, minus the horns.
"Nice to meet you, Serenity." She said before seeing Cedric.
"Hello again, Cedric."
"Your highness." Cedric said.
Finn gulps when he saw Cedric approach, though Cedric bowed a bit towards Phoebe.
"A thousand apologies for what happened in your throne room, your highness… I had a lot of issues going on and all the stress built up over time and stuff… not really an excuse but still…" Cedric said when he bowed deeply to Phoebe now.
Phoebe was quiet before shaking her head.
"It's fine."
"You sure?... Emerald pretty much caused me to break part of your floor and stuff at the end before I was… knocked out." Cedric said while he rubs the back of his head.
"Well the floor got fixed and… Emerald did give me a lecture and what not." Phoebe said.
"I see…" Cedric said as Emerald spoke up as he had a greatsword on his back for skeletons in the dead worlds.
"And with good reason… I'm guessing Phoebe and her group came for peace talks given what I said… anyway your highness, sorry but I need to leave for a few hours, need to get Cedric's wife… if you want… hmm… hey Finn… why don't you show the Queen of flames around the new Aura kingdom and stuff… should be fun if you show the fun parts of town and stuff… remember though… you are 3 years older than her now man… don't do anything that would make you really sus… would hate to lock you up for trying to date a minor." Emerald said while he gave Finn a half lidded look.
Finn was taken back by that.
"Hey! I'm not that type of person."
"Normally no but since your ex here didn't age while you got a 3 year boost… time changes all things… still if you'll excuse me…" Emerald said before he ran towards the treefort where a couple corners met and Phoebe and the flame people were shocked that Emerald just vanished out of nowhere.
"W-Where did he go?" Phoebe said.
"Oh, he went to the Dead World to meet Death. Trick is that you cross your eyes and then run into a corner and you're there." Finn said which made most blink.
Serenity noticed and well…
"Eh not the strangest thing to hear about, if you saw Emerald's arm, Emerald made a deal with Death to get moms soul back and stuff… honestly knowing how to get to the Dead worlds where Death resides in the least weird fo all the things I've heard ever since I moved here near this cutie." Serenity said when she grins at Finn.
Finn blushes at the cutie remark before he jolts when felt a pair of eyes looking at him and he didn't need aura to know that it was Cedric… and he wasn't liking what he was seeing.
Though Serenity surprised many when she wrapped an arm around Finn's and grins when she dragged him away as she said this.
"Come on everyone, may as well start the tour, I'll help explain things… Dad you wait here so when mom gets here she will be the first person she greets in the living world." Serenity said when she grins at her father who looked conflicted on following Finn and Serenity or waiting for Cynthia.
Funny enough for Serenity, Cedric chose the second option.
"Alright… though Finn?" He said.
Finn jolts when he looks at Cedric.
"Y-Yes… master?" Finn said when he looks nervous.
"Don't get any funny ideas with my little Angel… Got it?" He said as his eyes glowed.
"Dad… I'm an adult, if I want to date someone I can… you didn't complain much when I dated a couple women in the past so what makes Finn different aside from gender?... you one of those old school sexists or something?" Serenity said when she glared at her father comically.
Cedric jolted from the look.
"O-Of course not. Though you maybe an adult Serenity, doesn't stop me from being a protective father. It's basically our job. Your mom's father did that, my father did that with my sisters dates and I'm sure Emerald had done it with his kids if I haven't met them yet. Bottom line, I need to make sure you're safe."
"Didn't you also tell me that in your own words… only the best for my little girl… why not just train Finn to be one of the best if not the best Aura fighter here… shouldn't be too much trouble given how much Finn picks up… or are you expecting me to never get married or something and not give you grand kids?" Serenity said when she raised an eyebrow at Cedric.
Cedric quickly shook his head.
"I would never say that but… to make things less awkward, if you want to date Finn… you can on one condition."
"Depends on what the condition is… is it reasonable?... dating is just a thing to get to know one another… you said that after all so if not to get to know Finn to see if we click, what then?" Serenity said when she hugged Finn's arm more… sure she may have met Finn recently but he was a fun guy and wanted to make sure Cedric didn't give an impossible task and stuff.
Finn blushes more from this as Cedric tries to show restraint.
"Well… if Finn in anyway screws up and upsets you, don't care if you break his arms, I get to hunt him down. That is all."
"Fair enough but I doubt Finn will do that… right Finn?" Serenity said when she looks at Finn.
Finn gulps.
"O-Of course not." He said.
"Good… then seems unless Finn does that, we can go on a few dates hehe… maybe a bit soon, but thats what dates are for… anyway see you later dad." Serenity said as she dragged Finn away while many flame people sweatdrop and well… left Cedric alone so he could stew in his thoughts for now.
"Dear Glob… if only father gave me more warnings regarding daughters and… dating boys. Can see why Azure and Cynthia's dads reacted towards me." Cedric said.
Though he did chuckle a bit since he did hear that Serenity wanted the best… well… may as well give Finn hell when he does that and he got an evil smirk on his face.
"Get ready, my apprentice. This training will be worse than before. Big price to pay for dating my daughter." Cedric said as he chuckles darkly.
Meanwhile, Finn shudders which got Phoebe's attention.
"Something wrong Finn?"
"I felt a strange disturbance in the for-… Damn it… again with those comics." Finn said.
Many blink as Serenity giggles.
"Well… strange disturbance aside… I'm glad I can actually go out with a boy, or man in this case… Dad has always been a bit iffy and he only accepted me dating females and stuff… just glad he didn't actually go Dark mode and skinned you alive… pretty sure it wouldn't be good for all hehe." Serenity said while Finn, though smiling, got comically pale at the skinning alive part.
"Uuh… yeah. Good thing." Finn said.
Phoebe was quiet but… she did felt off seeing the way Serenity hugged Finn's arm.
However, Phoebe knew that she and Finn are not together no more, though she still wondered about that pink aura part.
Blaze noticed before she mentally giggles.
'Guess there still could be a torch between the two. Even though Finn is older. Not to mention… handsome looking.'
Blaze than asked this when she was curious about something.
"Hey Finn… how did you get so much older again?... many are curious since you aged 3 to 4 years or so." Blaze said when she moved to walk next to Finn when she decided to dig for some info while she had a kind smile on her face.
Though Serenity spoke for Finn.
"Oh you mean a time dilation spell?... it was comboed with a training room spell of sorts to make… what was it… a hyperbolic… a slipstream… no… well its a room that pretty much speeds up time inside to the point years pass by and depending on who uses it, it either takes a month for years to pass by or just seconds." Serenity said when she didn't hide any info much to Blazes surprise… thought it would be harder to get.
Phoebe was surprised at this info.
"R-Really? Did you go through the same thing?" She said as she looks at the hybrid woman.
"Hmmm?... oh yeah, a few times actually… believe it or not, thanks to Aura slowing the aging process significantly… I'm nearly 100 years old believe it or not… for Aura users we age physically at a rate of… well… guess I would technically be in my 20's now thanks to how hard I train to slow my aging down in training rooms… but point is… age is more or less just a number… Finn still has a long way to go before he can really be called anything but a Rookie but he does have a talent for Aura so just a matter of time hehe." Serenity said when she smiles at the others.
"I see…" Phoebe said before having a thought.
'If I go through with the training… I would also age faster than Finn.'
Though that was a bit of an opposite of what was explained somewhat… sure she would age faster but if done right, she would age much slower as well as a result, pretty much letting her gain a great gain after a small loss of sorts… seems the pros outweighed the cons here.
Though Phoebe's train of thought was interrupted as she and the rest of the group heard a voice.
"Finn!" Said a feminine voice before a figure comes running and hugs his other arm.
Many looked surprised when they saw someone looking a lot like Elena from the Jungle kingdom.
"F-Felicia." Finn said when he didn't expect to see her as Felicia snuggles up to Finn's arm.
"Oh the Death clan lead woman, didn't expect to see you here…" Serenity said when she looks at Felicia.
Felicia giggles.
"Well was feeling lonely so I thought I visit my boyfriend." She said making Phoebe blinked.
"B-Boyfriend?" She said.
