I am extremely sorry for the late update. Actually, I had some exams back then, so I couldn't find time or motivation to write, but I will ensure to keep updating this fic at least every week from now on. One more thing, there were instances in the previous chapter where I messed up with English, and I may come up wrong sometimes in grammar and all. Please pardon me; I will fix them with the help of someone from the community as the story progresses. Today's chapter is a little bigger, and you will surely enjoy it. Let's get started already!

Chapter 3: Battle for the Future

Naruto's eyes are cold and unyielding as he stares down Tsunade, his words carrying the weight of his resolve. "I have made my intentions clear, Hokage-sama. It's time for a new era, one without the constraints of the old system. Now get out of our way."

Before Tsunade can reply, the Raikage takes advantage of the distraction and breaks free from Naruto's grip with a burst of electrifying energy. Moving with lightning speed, he aims a powerful punch at Naruto's gut, but the young ninja dodges with ease, his reflexes honed by years of combat.

With a swift motion, Naruto retaliates with a blow that shatters the Raikage's ribs, sending him hurtling backward into the cliff face with a deafening crash. The other shinobi watch in awe and terror as Naruto's raw power is put on full display, the sheer force of his attack breaking the rocky terrain around them.

Killer Bee, Naruto's friend and ally, steps forward to question the sudden violence. "Yo Naruto, why you gotta go and mess with my bro like that? What's going on?"

Naruto's face softens slightly at the sound of Bee's voice, but his resolve remains unshaken. "I'm sorry Bee, but it has to be done. It's all part of the plan."

Bee looks confused and concerned, not sure what to make of Naruto's words. "Plan? What plan? You can't just go around and kick the sh*t out of my bro like that."

Naruto eyes roamed toward Sasuke, who sits beside him with a quiet intensity, his katana resting across his lap. He turns his attention towards Bee, "We have a mission to accomplish, Bee. And to do that, sacrifices must be made."

Naruto pauses for a moment, his gaze sweeping over the assembled shinobi. "But make no mistake, we have the power of all the tailed beasts behind us. We are unstoppable. And Gyuki, if you wish to return to Bee, you can. I know how strong your bond is."

The mention of his name causes the eight-tailed beast to stir, surprised by Naruto's words. Within moments, he enters Naruto's mindscape for a private conversation.

Naruto's Mindscape

Gyuki's concern lingers as he speaks to Naruto within his Mindscape. "Hey Naruto, are you sure about this? I'm not convinced returning to Bee is the right thing to do if it means going against you and the other beasts. I'm willing to be on your side, but only if you let Bee live," Gyuki says, his worry evident in his voice.

Naruto ponders for a moment before making a decision. "I understand where you're coming from, Gyuki. Killing innocent people, apart from the kage, isn't what I want. Let's leave Bee out of it," he says with a mischievous smile, returning to his body.

"Bee, this doesn't concern you," Naruto declares, his voice monotone.

Bee looks at Naruto and Sasuke with a confused expression. "What? You're going to kill my brother, and it doesn't concern me? And Eighto, what are you doing there?" Bee moves closer to the Eight Tails, offering a fist bump, but Gyuki doesn't reciprocate.

"I'm fine, Bee. Thanks for everything," Gyuki says with gratitude, further confusing Bee.

"Hey Naruto, I don't know what you're planning, but leave Big Brother out of this, or else," Bee warns, drawing his five swords in preparation for a Five Swords Style fight against the two strongest shinobi.

Sasuke grows impatient, his anger boiling over. "We don't have all day, Naruto. Get started," he says with an egotistical tone.

Naruto looks at Sasuke with a bewildered expression before understanding what he meant by the hand signs he made. Sasuke completes the signs, creating an opaque barrier to seal away the Five Kage with Naruto inside. The technique ensures no one can interfere with their conversation.

Inside the barrier, Naruto releases the genjutsu cast upon him by Sasuke, revealing his true self to the Five Kage. Gaara remains calm and composed as he asks, "Naruto, what does this all mean? Why are you doing this? Is this some kind of genjutsu?"

Naruto takes a deep breath before beginning to explain his methods of achieving peace to the Kage. With courage in his heart, Naruto lays out his plan, and the Kage listen intently. The Raikage also listened to Naruto's reasons as he sits in the corner of the cliff, breathing heavily from the previous beating he received.

Naruto stood before the leaders of the shinobi nations, a deep sense of purpose emanating from his every word. "This is it," he declared. "I have chosen this path for the future of the world. I will protect it from both within and without, and prevent any further wars from erupting."

Tsunade was stunned by Naruto's proclamation. As she took in the full extent of what he was saying, she saw her son-figure standing tall with strength radiating from him. She could see the sadness in his eyes as he looked at her, but also a fierce determination to see his vision through to the end. Suddenly, a feeling of pride erupted within her that the boy she had once met had grown into such a remarkable man.

As Naruto's words sunk in, tears started streaming down his face. He ran towards Tsunade and embraced her tightly, his emotions overwhelming him. "Granny, you can live if you want," he said, his voice choked with emotion. "I will create a clone here and transport you somewhere else with the help of Sasuke. I can't kill..."

Tsunade interrupted him, her voice filled with determination. "It's true that sometimes the ending is not always happy and idealistic," she said. "And sacrifices are inevitable for a revolution to happen. I will support you no matter what."

Mizukage nodded her agreement. "I mean, Tsunade-sama is right," she said. "I don't disagree with your plans, Naruto Uzumaki. If you, the hero of the world, believe that this plan will work, then count me in." She remembered the dark past of her own village, known as the 'blood mist' village due to its ruthless shinobi practices, and she knew that change was necessary.

Unoki, the Tsuchikage, spoke up next. "I agree with your reasoning, Naruto," he said. "But I think there's a better way. Unfortunately, I'm just an old hag now, so there's not much I can do against you." Though he spoke dejectedly, there was still a hint of anger in his eyes.

Raikage was less supportive, scoffing at Naruto's vision. "Your way of peace is flawed and baseless," he said dismissively. But even he couldn't deny the sense of purpose and conviction that radiated from Naruto.

Gaara spoke calmly, addressing the Raikage and Tsuchikage, "Sometimes, the truth is bitter and sacrifices have to be made for a better future. I have faith in my friend Naruto Uzumaki and his belief that the shinobi culture can be reformed. As Kage, we can ensure peace, but what about after our time? Can we guarantee a peaceful future for the next generation?"

Mizukage echoed Gaara's sentiment with a determined voice, "We can believe in Naruto. If our deaths are what it takes to maintain balance and peace, then so be it."

Raikage attempted to interject, but Tsunade, with tears in her eyes, spoke up, "Our pain will be fleeting, but Naruto will suffer the consequences of this sacrifice for years to come. He is willing to take that risk, and as Kage, we should also be willing to make a life sacrifice."

Tsuchikage, recalling his past with Madara, reluctantly surrendered to Naruto's plan, "I concede to your proposal, Uzumaki. May the Sage guide you on your journey to make this world a better place."

Naruto couldn't hold back his tears at the thought of losing his precious bonds, the Kage who have so much faith in him that were willing to sacrifice their lifes for his plans to work.

After a moment of contemplation, Raikage finally acknowledged Naruto's proposal, "I agree with the plan, but on one condition. There will be no massacres to maintain autonomy. You must find a way to coexist without causing mass casualties."

Naruto was confident in his plans for the impending battle and accepted the Raikage's condition with gratitude. "Yes, Raikage-sama, thank you for your support and confidence in me. While I can't ensure that there will be 'no casualties,' I will do everything in my power to prevent mass casualties. I have some plans in mind. You can trust me." Naruto pumped his fist to his chest, brimming with confidence.

The Raikage smirked slightly. "Good luck, young man. Your journey ahead will be tough." He gestured for Naruto to leave the room, and Naruto headed out to confront Gaara.

"Gaara..."

"We will always be with you, Naruto. You are our friend, and you saved me from darkness before. Don't blame yourself. We are dying for our villages and our people as Kage. It's our choice, after all," Gaara said resolutely. The other Kage hummed in agreement.

"Granny, I-"

"Don't look at me like that, brat. It's not becoming of you. Stay cheerful, but remember that your journey ahead will be difficult. I wish you the best of luck," Tsunade said with a sad smile.

"Go ahead, Naruto. We will fight you with all our strength and die a shinobi's death," Onoki said confidently.

With tears in his eyes, Naruto took a deep breath, gathered his resolve, and marched toward the Kage. The battle was about to begin.

Meanwhile, outside the barrier, Sasuke sat atop a cliff, brandishing his sword. Behind him stood the nine-tailed beasts, and in front of him, an army of 40,000 highly skilled shinobi waited to face him.

As Sakura and Kakashi arrived on the scene, they were taken aback by the massive gathering and the imposing barrier. Some of the shinobi were clearly angry and determined, while others were frightened and threatened by the situation.

Sakura quickly grasped the gravity of the situation. "This can't be happening," she muttered. "Naruto, Tsunade-shishou, no!" She began to panic and ran towards the barrier.

Sasuke appeared before her, sword in hand, an evil smirk on his face. "Not so fast," he sneered. Though he could have killed her with his katana, he had promised Naruto not to harm innocent people unnecessarily. So, he punched Sakura, who instinctively tried to block the blow with her bare hand. The impact was so powerful that the ground cracked, creating a hole with a radius of more than 10 meters. Sakura collapsed into the hole, her arm bones broken from the force of the blow.

Kakashi rushed to Sakura's side as she struggled to catch her breath. Meanwhile, Killer Bee attacked Sasuke with his 5-sword style. Sasuke was prepared this time. "This won't end like our last encounter," he declared, turning to face Killer Bee. "Let's play."

The two shinobi engaged in a fierce battle, their lightning-fast attacks creating sparks as their blades collided. The other shinobi tried to take advantage of the situation, but Sasuke signaled to Shukaku, who nodded in agreement. Shukaku (one-tailed beast) launched a drilling air bullet at the oncoming shinobi, sending them tumbling to the ground from the lethal damage of the wind jutsu.

On the other hand Sasuke and Bee were showcasing his remarkable sword skills. Despite fighting five swords with one, Sasuke dominated with his speed and strength. He channelled his chakra into his hand and delivered a lethal blow, severing Bee's sword and injuring his arm. Bee stumbled and fell to the ground, and Sasuke unleashed a single Chidori, obliterating a group of 80 Shinobi approaching him. The Shinobi forces' morale was already low due to the significant losses they had suffered in the war, and fighting against the demigod-level Shinobi accompanied by all the Tailed Beasts seemed an insurmountable challenge.

Shikamaru intervened by using the Shadow Paralysis technique to capture Sasuke. He demanded to know what Sasuke had done to Naruto. Sasuke effortlessly broke free from the Shadow Paralysis and took up his sword, preparing to eliminate Shikamaru. But he was unexpectedly sent flying by the Wind Gale Palm technique of twenty Shinobi working in tandem. Choji then transformed into his Butterfly Giant form and rallied his comrades, shouting, "We Shinobi can fight anything! We won't go down without a fight! We've been in the Tsukuyomi, and our chakra is fully recharged. Everyone, give it your all to take this bastard down!" He grabbed Sasuke, but the Nine Tails began to form a Tailed Beast Bomb to protect Sasuke. "No need for that, Nine Tails. I can handle them. You can sit back and relax," Sasuke said as his Susanoo armor enveloped him, transforming into a giant humanoid figure twice Choji's size. Sasuke stopped Choji's punch and used his sword to dispatch him with one strike.

Darui gazed upon the towering Susanoo and felt a sense of dread. "That Susanoo is enormous. How can we hope to counter it?" Kiba transformed into a giant, two-headed dog with Akamaru, boosting the Shinobi's morale. Despite being severely injured, Shikamaru was healed by Sakura, who had mended her bone earlier. He revealed his plan to Ino, who transmitted it to the Shinobi Alliance with her Mind Transfer Jutsu.

"Listen up, everyone! Don't be afraid. We can outnumber Sasuke, and we're fully recharged. Sasuke has been fighting for quite a while now, so he's nearly depleted his chakra. We can defeat him. We're experienced enough. The plan is to split into squads with unique jutsu styles, backed by a group of Earth Style users to protect us from Sasuke's frontal attack with an Earth Wall. The Jounin and high-level Shinobi will be in front, and those with different styles will be in the back in separate units, with the strongest of that style as the captain. The captain will guide you to unleash your moves simultaneously against Sasuke's Susanoo, inflicting a fatal blow. Let's do this, everyone!"

The Shinobi's spirits were lifted, and they shouted in unison, "We will emerge victorious!"

Sasuke, smirking inside his Susanoo, remarked, "This is getting exciting. Bring it on! You will discover that you Shinobi are nothing compared to the power that I wield. You will learn to respect your leader by the end of this battle."

Whoo! Guys some of you will be thinking that they are killing so many people for the revolution but believe me I have some plans ;). Keep guessing what could be possible if Naruto himself said that he is 'not in the mood to massacre shinobis'. So yeah review the chapter, let me know how it's going. I will try posting a chapter every weekend from now on, maybe more depending on the time I get. But yeah you can expect a chapter in a week, I have got a lot of ideas and paths for this story; Stay tuned 👍
