Back in their spy days, Hetty and Granger would sometimes use SAT radios to communicate with each other in secretive ways. Eventually, they got so good, they made up their own code!
1 day, Hetty was at the office desk doing paperwork when she heard a familiar beeping noise. Surprised, she walked over to her SAT radio, decoded the sent message, and smiled.
'Date night tonight?', the message read.
'Surprised you still remember our code.', She replied.
'Could never forget our code. You up for tonight?', The next message said.
That night at the bowling alley.
'I must say Owen, that was quite an interesting way of asking me out!' Hetty said after parking.
'I remembered where I kept my old radio, and I thought it'd be kind of romantic to ask the girl out via SAT radio given that the girl also speaks code. You like?' Granger replied.
'I like it! Kind of felt like I was being asked out by a mysterious stranger. Mainly someone tall and handsome.'
Smiling. 'How is it that even tough women love big romantic gestures?'
'Believe it or not, we do sometimes have time to read romance books! Now, are you ready to have your butt kicked in the lanes?' Hettys snickered.
'Don't act so cocky, I can just as easily beat you!' Granger confidently replied.
Hetty ended up having to drive him home early after he pulled a back muscle because he forgt to stretch.
