That's the only response I can have to this situation. I can barely believe what I'm seeing(?). Actually scratch that I can't believe this at all.

I collect my scrambled thoughts and return my attention back to the floating message in front of me. I realized the words were gone and a pane of a translucent mint blue rectangle was in front of me.
Welcome lost soul

'...I'm where?And why would I be considered viable out of anyone? And where are these other people at I didn't see anyone?

You are in limbo a place between where souls can get stuck or lost if they can't properly move on. Next you are the first viable soul found by this system. Thus as such you were chosen as the user. Lastly other souls cannot comprehend each other due to the fragile state of their soul in limbo it would cause to much strain.
'I guess that answers that' Im still in shock over all of this. Like how I guess i'm dead if I really am in limbo, and how I'm viable for a Gamer System like I've read the web comic, and other fan fictions that have this sort of thing.
It's just I know for a fact I'm not this lucky. I've never been lucky.'hm' Maybe just maybe this is the culmination of all my luck giving my a chance at a better life.

Well I mean this is a surprise most if not all Gamer Systems just drag the individual around but this is asking me. Also there are Gods not just a God that will be watching me that's nice to know.
After a few seconds I realized I can't press yes so I just focus on it and it glows confirming my choice. A bright light engulfed my everything as a strange feeling washes over me.
After a few moments I realized I could feel again I look down and see a non disruptive grey hand. I then look over my whole body and realized it was back, but I had no features.
I feel around, and all I have is a body and eye holes. no mouth nor a nose or even ears. It was very strange and confusing.

... I get to make my new body? Really! I can be who I want to be! This is great not like I can remember what I looked like originally.
After a few minutes of silence and my slowly rising anxiety I hear a ping.

Well lord all mighty I'm gonna be in RWBY the question is, is if I'll be apart of the normal time line or if I'll be farther off like in Summer Roses time at beacon, or even far of into the past/future.
That whole ominous warning about character creation having choices that make my life harder might be about silver eyes or something. But before I begin thinking to much about it.

Looking it over I was very curious what bonus was but I feel like it's best to go in order.I press on the gender option.

I think about it for a few good moments and press female. The moment after I see a mirror appear in front of me and I see my body gain a more feminine look.
I look down and I don't see the changes on my actual person, but I'm just assuming it'll all take effect at the end. I look at the window and go back select race.
