Chapter 7: A Stars Arrival

I feel groggy and sluggish as I come to I can feel something warm covering me, and something soft bellow me. I slowly open my eyes as I'm blinded by the light coming from the window next to me.

"Ugh it's so bright turn it off" I mumbled as I sit up. I look around the room I'm in,and it's really cozy. A bookshelf filled with books of all kinds from fairytales to books about how to affectively use dust.

Looking over at a small clock next to my bed I see it's half past six. I sigh and rub my head as it's filled with new memories that are all about my new past 15 years of life.

I decide it'll be good for me to get some fresh air, and comb through my memory's so I get up. I get dressed in a nice skirt, and shirt combo with some thigh high socks.

My new parents won't be up for another half hour as it's both their days off, and todays my birthday apparently. After I get out side I see just tons of snow like as far as the eye can see.

I just stand out there for a few minutes before I realized I'm in Atlas not the floating city but the kingdom. I also realize I don't get cold like at all it's interesting, and relaxing just to look out at the snow.

After almost a hour I've managed to collect myself and compile all my new memories with what I know about cannon normally, and what I can find on my scroll.

It's roughly two years before cannon will start so I'll be able to enroll normally. It also gives me time to train apparently my pops (that's what I call my father) wouldn't train me as a huntsman tell I'm fifteen.

He didn't prohibit me from training normally to get stronger or practice with practice weapons as to find out what I like. He also agreed to unlock my aura if I'm still set on becoming a huntress when I turn fifteen.

He apparently didn't want me to become a huntress as to not lose me but he knows I'm a growing girl and can make my own decisions about life. My mum offered to make me my own mechashift weapon for me when I turn 17 if Im still set on choosing to be a huntress.

I'm glad I picked Villager now because I got two great parents that will support me and care about me no matter what. As I'm finally finished collecting my thoughts I get my first notification.

Well there's my first quest and an interesting start to my life. I smile and hum to myself as I walk back into the house. I see in the kitchen is my mum cooking breakfast, and my pops looking through the daily news at the table drinking some coffee.

"Morning my little Snowflake how'd you sleep last night?" My mum asked me

"Pretty good wish the sun did try and blind me as I woke up, but pretty good nun the less." I replied happily as I sat down next to my pops.

He takes a sip of his coffee and looks at me. "so are you still wanting to become a huntress Iris?" He asks already knowing my answer but still asking just to be sure.

"Of course I am Pops you know that I'll become the best huntress ever!" Giving him the response I've always give him.

My mom laughs for the kitchen. "you know honey our little snowflake won't give up. she's going to be a great huntress no matter what!"

My pops sighs. "after breakfast we can go out back unlock your aura, and see what weapon you'll want to train with."

I beam at him with a smile "Really! Yes! Ah actually I already know what I want to use as a weapon. Ima use a saber!" I was practically vibrating with Excitement.

Pops looks at me with amusement and tussles my hair lightly. "That's great saves us some time maybe we can get in a few spars to see what your made of."

My mums gives an amuse sigh as she walks in and sets our breakfast down on the table. "Don't get too rough. you still need to come down to the forge tomorrow to help your poor old mother out."

I look at her and smile "I know I'm just so excited! Maybe if I train enough pops can take me out hunting one day?" I look at my pops.

He chuckles. "Yes, yes one day but not anytime soon you still need to work hard."

With my excitement peaked I began munching on my breakfast. I then helped my mum clean up, and went out back.

My pops was already waiting for me he smiled down at me. "Well Iris are you ready? If so close your eyes and concentrate."

I simply nod at him and do as he says. I can feel him put his hand on my head and begin to speak.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this we become a Guardian of peace and hope to protect above all else, infinite in distance and unbound by defeat. I release your soul and by my strength I unbound thee."

It's different that the one Pyrrha used, but I feel a strange pulling sensation from within me. After a few moments it feels like something Pours out of me and covers my entire being.

After a few seconds my pops takes his hand off my head and breaths out heavily. "Goodness Iris you have a lot of aura there that's good means you won't get hurt easily."

I open my eyes and check my body I have a mint blue aura covering me it's strange and it feels strong.

Aura is two times your Vit stat in strength. Also while aura is not broken physical stats are doubled .

Warning

Now when your aura breaks your physical stats will be point seventy five (.75) times normal and your Semblance will be locked.

That's handy and very interesting I guess that's why characters in Rwby are very sluggish when they lose their aura. It also makes me crazy strong and fast so yay!

I pushed this out for y'all to enjoy something other than character creation, and hopefully enjoy some quick character lore.

(P.s. They figured they where two years before cannon because of the Vytal Festival.)
