Chapter Eleven: Toys
Time to figure out who those toys are and a little plot device I thought would make sense.
Capella chuckled as she closed her beloved's door, he wasn't there but it seemed like Meili didn't care. The moment she had tossed the girl into the room, she had dived onto his bed and inhaled the scents on it. She doubted that the girl would leave. She couldn't even open the door. She had stripped Meili of all her intelligence, allowing only her experience living with the ulgrams and her assassin training to remain. Perhaps she'd bite his ear to initiate a breeding ritual? Capella strolled down the halls as her thoughts drifted to the others. She had come into successful contact with both her doppelganger and the merchant meatbag. She didn't know the current status of either, but from what she could tell, she was somehow related to the blonde. It would explain why she was so easy to alter, not that she changed much. The girl was just as deranged as she was, the only difference was that Capella chose not to hide it. Guess it just ran in the family.
The merchant was a different case, She wanted to turn her into a good cockwarmer for when he got tired of sex, something to keep him warm and ready for when he got back into the mood. She had messed with the girl on different level than the others. The girl was greedy so she used that against her. She made her feel empty, unsatisfied with everything she owned. She twisted her aspects on her own self-worth, making her view herself as more of a tool than a person, she would continue to feel empty until she found her 'happiness,' a little something that would encourage her to do her job and take his cock in whichever hole he felt like. How Capella loved objectifying others.
The candidates weren't her only prey though. She had done a number on the Karsten meatbag before she took control, the woman is no more than a common whore now. Capella laughed as she thought of the duchess's knight. He wasn't a guy, not anymore. She had messed with him as soon as the first moment of weakness had revealed itself. She didn't change mush physically. If he truly thought himself a boy, there wasn't much he had as evidence. She stopped her thoughts and moved towards the room of her next target, The spirit. Capella was dependent on her coming along or the mana poisoning would become a chore. She had modified his gate to reduce how much it takes in but that would only help for so long, her attempts at fixing the gate had resulted in what she had assumed was a stronger version of the sloth archbishop's hands attacking her. She couldn't help but feel that those were not the hands of sloth, but she had other things to worry about so she paid it little mind. She made her way to the library where she knew the spirit would reside, the sound of shouting was present in the room. She opened the door to be met by two small girls arguing, one was the sharp-toothed blondie and the other one was her target. She made a note of the girl's resemblance to Roy and moved to where the girls were. It was time to negotiate.
Unknown space
Subaru found himself sitting in a field of grass, blue skies with large white clouds hovering above him. He felt like he should remember this place but nothing came to mind. A voice he had no recollection of spoke out from behind. "How strange, you should not be able to reside here anymore. Are you perhaps around someone with the power of a witch?" He turned around and spotted a large woman laying on the ground, her attire was black and her hair was a darker shade of magenta with dangerously pale skin as she gave him a tired look. Her appearance screamed lazy as he eyed her down, confused at her presence. She showed a small amount of confusion at his unfamiliar look, only to realise why a second later as she returned to her neutral expression. "Do you perhaps not remember your time here? The witch of greed is a selfish individual, I find no surprise in your lack of memories."
Who the hell is this? Where the hell is this? Does he know this woman? He wanted to speak but couldn't, her aura although gloomy and honestly depressing was unnatural and exuded an untold amount of power. Noticing his lack of response, she continued. "I am Sehkmet, the witch of sloth. I already know your name so please spare me the exhausting introduction. If you are confused about your arrival here, I suggest you find and ask Typhon. I have no idea of how you are able to appear here, but Typhon might. She liked your company the most so she might have sent you some form of invitation."
To say he was confused was an understatement. That introduction explained nothing. Who is Typhon and how does a dead witch from four hundred years prior know of him? He threw caution to the wind as he asked her the two most important ones. "Who is Typhon? You didn't exactly tell how she looks. Also, who is the witch of greed? Do I know her too?"
Subaru was expecting a little pity and at least a response. Instead, familiar dark clawed hands emerged from the woman's back. He audibly gulped as he felt himself get grabbed and raised into the air as he closed his eyes, bracing for the oncoming pain. He expected to be crushed or slammed into the ground, what he felt was a rush of wind instead. When he opened his eyes, he saw the quickly approaching ground as he collided with the grass. He slid for a while before his head slammed into something, grabbing his head in pain. The woman had definitely thrown him, and it really hurt. He moved to lie on his back as his vision cleared to the sight of a chair, small legs were dangling off it as he tried to get up.
He slowly moved away from the chair as he got up and spotted the owner of the legs. It was a little girl with green hair and red eyes. She wore a cute white dress as she beamed at him with an innocence coated smile. He was confused, was this Typhon? She seemed more approachable than the other lady and said lady had said she got along with him, maybe he got along with her? She looked at him expectedly as he unintentionally asked the important question. "Are you Typhon?"
It seemed that the question wasn't what the girl expected as she gave him a look of confusion. "Does Baru not remember me? Maybe Baru hit his head too hard." She eyed him down as he was thinking about the nickname she had used. It did sound familiar to him. She decided to reintroduce herself to him as he obviously didn't recall anything, maybe twist his opinion of her a little to ensure they became friends. "I'm Typhon! I'm the witch of pride! you probably remember this but we're best friends!" Subaru was surprised, seeing such a young little girl claim to be the embodiment of the sin of pride was baffling. He wanted to tell her off for making such a dangerous claim but felt a pull on his body. He felt himself slowly step back as he looked at her with more confusion than before. She pouted at his response as he felt himself get dragged slowly. "Looks like Baru ran out of time, well have to catch up another time." He felt the world crumble around him as shadows surrounded his vision, a piercing voice was all he heard as the world went dark. "I love you."
Felt's room
Subaru woke up in a bed he didn't recognise. Was it a dream? He decided to save the thought for later. He looked around the room, recognising the set of clothes lying on his floor. To his left, he followed a trail of blood and spotted a sleeping Felt. Her arm was still exposed to him, it made him want to throw up. His thoughts on her were forever changed after their 'talk.' She was a nutcase, a psycho with no regard for anything besides her own goals. He knew that, but he couldn't let her kill herself like that. He slowly got up as he tried his best to be quiet, hoping not to wake her up and reignite the firefight that had been their last conversation. As he stood up, he felt a breeze pass through the room as he spotted a girl with elegant platinum locks near the door. Confused, he rubbed his eyes and she was gone. Was he hallucinating as well? This has to be one of his weirdest loops ever. It didn't help that the dream left him on edge. He knew that Satella was linked to him somehow, but to encounter other witches as well? The first one had said something about being in witches presence to be there. He was overwhelmed by the thoughts. Deciding to put the thoughts away for later, he got up and left the room before Felt woke up.
A pair of piercing blue eyes watched him as he left the room. Pandora had been confused as to why the sin archbishop of lust had infiltrated the manor so she had come to see why. Her focus had quickly changed to the one who had taken out so many of her archbishops. She would have to keep an eye on him, maybe recruit him if she could find something of leverage. She had felt something call to him from her authority. Was he a guest of the tea party? She waited to find the right time to interfere as she eyed the door he had left from. The boy was a threat.
A little explanation before I leave and dump all of this info on you. To enter the tea party, one must be in the presence of a witch, deceased, sealed, or simply within range of a living one. Since Pandora is the witch of Vainglory, does it not seem fitting that she would be a host of the tea party as well? I know they are currently sitting in a crystal somewhere in Gusteko but I like them. They won't be around very often. Speaking of Pandora, I assumed that she would be interested in why the hell Capella was so out of character, allowing me to rope her into this mess as well. Adios!
