The next morning Obiwan got out of bed early. He went to the temple but he didn't visited his padawan. There was something that he wanted to do before he sees him.
He got in front of the council.
"Masters. There is something I wanted to discuss with you." Obiwan said. He sounded confident but he was really scared if he messed this up it would be way worse that it was already.
Yoda and Windu looked at each other for a second.
"Like to discuss what would you?" Yoda asked.
"About what happened yesterday."
"If you're worrying about Anakin he did nothing wrong he can stay in the order."
"I'm happy to hear that but that isn't the issue." He took a little break. "I think the order should change some of the rules."
Everyone looked surprised. No one knew what to react.
"And why is that?" Windu finally broke the silence.
"Anakin almost turned to the dark side because Palpatine manipulated him with his feelings. If he could simply show his emotions that we wouldn't be here."
"But we wouldn't have found out who is Sidius."
"But do people have to die for that. And let's be honest all of us have feelings, emotions hiding them is not healthy."
"I feel like you want to erase another rule." Master Mundi said.
"Yes. Why aren't the Jedi allowed to have attachments? Some Siths became siths to help the people they attached to. If we didn't have this rule less people would be on the dark side."
Yoda and Windu looked at each other again.
"You have a point Master Kenobi but we still have to vote." Windu said.
Obiwan just smiled and left them alone to vote.
He did it. At least he tried. He could have kicked him self and Anakin out of the order but no. They are thinking about it which is a good sigh. Maybe after this he and Satine could be together.
