Chapter 7: Monsters Unleashed
(Deep Space)
For 5 Earth days, the Axalor and the Valeria had departed from Sephoria to get to Earth. Everyone had gotten comfortable, while Feline was brazenly roaming about in the entire vessel, acting like an excited little kitten. Meanwhile, Sylvia was staring out the window at the galaxy outside, showing genuine amazement as she looked around. Ryosuke approached her and looked outside with her as he smiled. "That expression reminds me of when I first experienced space travel." He told her.
"It's so beautiful out here, I can't believe I never came out here sooner." She admitted and looked at him. "I'm mostly excited to see the planet of my ancestors' birth." She told him.
"A lot will have changed in the last 8,000 years, so just to warn you ahead of time, keep your expectations low." He advised her as she nodded in response, he soon heard his comlink go off and he answered it. "Yes commander?" He answered.
"Ryosuke, get to the control deck, I just reached my contact in the Garrison." Misato informed him.
"On my way." He replied and looked towards Sylvia. "Let's see what he knows, and hopefully get some evidence to put Councilman Worthington in his place." He told her as she nodded and walked with him to the control him as he took the chance to contact the other guardians. "All Guardians, assemble to the control room, immediately." He told them.
Once they were in the control room, Misato was on screen with her contact in the Garrison. "Everyone, this is Scott Wimbler, he's the contact I had working in the Garrison whenever I needed info on shady dealings, or classified files." She introduced them.
"So basically you hired a hacker." Jaden commented with a deadpan stare.
Scott adjusted his glasses upon hearing that statement. "I prefer technician enthusiast, but I'll take it. When Commander Shriogane contacted me in the matter of the fusion cannon that was installed on Captain Worthington's ship, I did some digging and found some major classified files. I had never seen so many redacted documents in my life. But thanks with the help of encrypting, or hacking, as you would call it. I managed to open up what a certain council member was hiding." He informed them.
"What did you find?" Shawn asked as he approached.
"It turns out the fusion cannon was declared missing, by word of Councilman Jonathan Worthington. Big shock, but the truth is, he secretly gave the fusion cannon to his son as a birthday present, to use against invaders should the Mecha Unit's become obsolete." Scott informed them as Colin immediately got pissed off from the subject.
"That lying no good sonuva-"
"Colin, calm down." Yuki told him as she placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I sent the files directly to your ship's computers, now I suggest you print them out before they self-destruct." Scott advised them only to hear some chatter outside that sounded like the council. "Shit, I gotta go, Misato, stay safe." He told her as he disconnected from the webcam.
Blair immediately printed the documents as he suggested and pulled them out of the printer and walked over to Ryosuke. "I can't believe that dirtbag of a councilman would allow his son to possess a weapon like this." She commented as she fumed with anger.
"Me neither, I know he had a reputation to uphold, but this is crossing the line." Jaden replied to her.
Feline looked over the blueprints of how they assembled the weapon onto the ship. "I've seen some impressive weapons, but this is too dangerous for anyone to have. Even after seeing the damage it caused back on Sephoria." She commented.
"How did someone such as Councilman Worthington become head of the council anyway?" La'Kina asked.
"Money and wealth, what else? He likely bought most of the voters who were joining the election." Jirou pointed out to her and looked at Ryosuke. "What do you think Ryosuke?" He asked him.
Narrowing his eyes at the files he looked over, he handed them over to Blair as she took them for safe keeping. "However he became head of the council matters little, it's time someone brought him down before he causes more damage. Not just to our world, but to others like Sephoria." He told them as his fellow guardians nodded at him in agreement.
(Violet Queen's Palace, Earth)
On Earth, Kiriko approached Shenrah as he waited patiently for her, his eyes glowing brightly upon seeing her. "You've returned… I trust you brought some promising hosts for my soldiers?" He asked her.
"Some promising, some not so much. It even took me a while to find a host for Amicis." She gestured as Amicis approached, wearing a new host that is now permanent.
She bowed to her master respectively and out of admiration. "Oh Lord Shenrah, how wonderful it is to be in your presence once again." She said to him as she grinned.
"Spare me your pleasantries Amicis, while you've spent the last 8,000 years feasting on wavering victims, my queen has spent her life watching over me, and freeing our brothers and sisters from their crystal prisons!" He yelled at her.
This made Amicis cower in fear as she kneeled down to him. "My lord, please forgive me, but I was doing all that I could to prevent anyone from obtaining Aquaria's crystal." She explained.
"One good deed does not account for the time you've been away from your duties." Shenrah pointed out as Jason entered the chamber after recovering from what he went through, earning the stone dragon's attention. "Ahh, Jason… I trust you are well rested?" He asked him.
"I wish I did… but now that I see who was responsible for this?" Jason gestured to the crystal in his chest. "I'm sure I would like some answers as to why I was chosen." He told him.
"As would we…" Said a new voice as Jason turned around and saw some familiar faces approaching. One being a roughneck native american, long dark hair, wearing a tan vest over a sea blue jacket and gray jeans. The other was a well groomed young man that wore a Victorian era style suit and worked his hair back and into a ponytail as he wore a set of glasses.
The third party was a busty blonde, wearing a sleeveless black rose vest over a dark gray corset top, long light pink fingerless gloves, even a black rose miniskirt that was held by a black and silver leather belt, and wore a pair of knee high leather boots. The fourth and final guest was none other than Kimberly Johnson, much to Jason's shock as she wore a light blue sweater with skirt combo under a turquoise vest, and had a violet skirt under her sweater and wore a pair of navy blue boots. The native american approached first as he looked upon Shenrah's statue. "For starters, what's with the oversized garden gnome…?" He asked.
Much to Shenrah being insulted about how he referred to him, causing flames to appear in his maw. "INSULANT RUNT!" He unleashed the flames upon him.
This caused the native american to panic as his eyes widened, causing him and the others to duck and take cover from the flames as they flew over the group. Shenrah soon ceased his attack as he let out a growl as the native poked his head up and looked towards him. "Okay, didn't see that coming." He admitted.
Shenrah hissed as steam flowed out of his mouth. "I am no mere statue… I was once the most feared creature to ever appear on your planet. I ruled all of Japan through fear, until Amaterasu called upon Garoma to overthrow me! Imprisoning me within this petrified state, which has lasted for only 8,000 years." He snarled angrily. "And you will do well to show respect to your elders." He warned him.
The native nodded his head as the blond got up and walked up to him. "Okay, if you are so powerful, why not just break yourself out of this statue and get back at him for putting you in this position to begin with?" She asked him.
"As much as I would have liked to my dear, but do you see the crystal within my chest…?" Shenrah asked her as she looked upon the crystal in the center of his chest. "This happens to be my soul crystal, and there are two remaining crystals that need to be found. My Power, and my Life crystals." He explained.
But the woman scoffed as she backed away from him. "I heard enough, now if you'll excuse me, there's something I need to do other than talk to a talking statue." She told them as she walked away.
"And what might that be, May Valcula…?" Shenrah asked as she immediately stopped in her tracks, showing a shocked expression to the others as Kiriko grinned, hearing Shenrah hiss in delight. "Aah, you were hoping to reach Sephoria to find Ryosuke Kanbara, weren't you…?" He asked her.
She whipped around and looked at him. "How could you possibly know that?" She asked him.
"I know more than you realize, you come from a wealthy family, a brilliant mind, and you have deep feelings for Ryosuke which touches me deeply… for a moment at least." He commented as May looked away from him. "Then there is Ahote Paleo, son of a great chief, but abandoned his tribe in search of relics from an ancient past, his travels soon landed him in the Earth Garrison where he became a top scientist, and tried to resurrect an ancient species of kaiju." He explained as Ahote looked at him surprised. "But the Earth Garrison Council shut down his project before he could complete it, thus resulting in him being a part of Chadwicks crew, formerly." He pointed out to the native american who looked down in regret for leaving his tribe.
He soon let out a sigh and looked at him. "Do I regret leaving my tribe? Yes, but do I regret leaving Chad's crew? Not in the slightest… he was a prick to begin with." He told him.
Shenrah let out a hearty chuckle as he looked towards Kimberly. "Kimberly Johnson, a well disciplined student as well as a nurse in the Garrison Infirmary, and a skilled martial artist. Where she no doubt met Jason Oliver, when he and Ryosuke were delivered after a training accident." He recollected.
Kim panicked upon seeing it as Jason shielded her from his gaze. "Leave her out of this…!" He said as his eyes turned fiery orange.
"Rest assured Jason, I have no intention of harming her. One noble dragon to another, I swear upon it." He assured him, but Kiriko smirked in knowing that her beloved emperor was lying to him. "Last but not least, there is William Underhill, smartest man alive, but scheming and conniving to a degree." He pointed it out.
But this didn't faze the distinguished Englishman as he bowed respectfully to the stone dragon. "You flatter me, sir, though schemes bring out the worst in me, I have genuine respect for those in power." He said as he was grinning.
"Don't take it as a compliment, human… I know a treacherous spider when I see it." Shenrah told him as William's grin faded into a frown. "I have selected each of you to be my vanguard, each of you possessing great qualities, and skills that I need in order to retrieve my two remaining crystals. The only obstacle in your way is Ryosuke Kanbara." He told them.
This caught May's attention as she looked upon the statue of the dark dragon. "Ryosuke…? Why would he interfere if he doesn't know anything about you?" She asked him.
"Because he possesses something I have." Jason answered as he pulled down his shirt, showing Tagora's crystal embedded in his chest, surprising everyone, even Kimberly who was also shocked from seeing it as she walked up and touched it. "Kiriko's master may call it a gift, but I wasn't myself when I attacked Ryosuke and his crew." He said as he turned towards Shenrah. "So whatever he offers, there's likely strings attached."
"You're catching on, but I suppose it's wise to be cautious, than to trust the word of a Demon Kaiju." Shenrah suggested as Jason scowled, but noticed four crystals rising up in front of them. "Within each of these crystals are the souls of kaiju that will be your counterparts in the fight that is to come. But you don't choose the crystal, the crystal will choose you." He told them as the crystals glowed brightly and shot towards their respective chosen. Once piercing into their chests, the entire group groaned in pain feeling the transformation sequence. May held her head as her hands formed talons and feathers grew from her arms and wings grew from her back. Kimberly whimpered in pain from it as scales formed around her body and her face started forming into a beak and a crest sprouted on the back of her head as she shrieked.
Ahote groaned as he felt his head splitting, literally. He cried out in pain as his head split in two only to regrow a new side to each head as they formed into Tyrannosaurus looking heads as he sprouted a tail in the process, while William screamed as his legs formed into eight arachnid legs, his face forming giant mandibles as his forearms turned into giant scythes. Shenrah watched with his mistress, she grinned in satisfaction from seeing the transformations, while her husband hissed in delight.
(Meanwhile)
Back with the Axalor as it docked at Earth Garrison Headquarters, Ryosuke and his crew were making their way towards the council chambers, earning surprised looks from everyone in the hallway upon seeing the guests that accompanied them. They walked towards the doors that were guarded by security. One of the security guards stepped up to stop them. "There is a meeting in session, no one is allowed to enter until further-"
"We couldn't give a rats ass even if that law was enforced, now get the fuck out of our way before we leave you brokeen and bruised." Misato threatened them as they immediately squeaked and backed away.
Ryosuke smirked, knowing Misato for her way of being scary when she needs to be. They proceeded to the door and forced it open, finding Jonathan and the other council members in the room. Jonathan saw them as he looked at Ryosuke and Misato. "Captain Kanbara, Commander Shirogane, I see my son couldn't bring you both to me in cuffs, you decided to come of your own free will to stand trial." He suggested.
"Actually, Councilman…" Misato looked towards Jirou who walked up with Chad and tossed him towards his father, showing he was tied by ropes and gagged to keep his mouth shut, surprising his father as he looked upon the mother and son duo. "We had other plans, and don't expect any grandchildren in the future." She informed him.
Jonathan scowled at her and walked past his son. "First you disobey orders, then you bring back Captain Kanbara, with my son, tied and neutered of all things, and you expect there won't be a trial? I'll see to it you both hang for this!" He yelled.
"Oh there will be a trial, but it won't be for us… but for you." Ryosuke told him.
Which made Jonathan confused as he looked at the young captain. "What do you mean by that, captain?" He asked him.
"I mean the fact that you sent your son on an errand to arrest us, and he had a giant fusion cannon to try and obliterate us." He replied as Jonathan began to sweat. "Oh don't act so surprised, we know that you illegally purchased that fusion cannon from the weapons vault, and installed it into Chad's ship for his birthday." He told him.
The other two council members looked upon Jonathan who was sweating up a storm. "Councilman Worthington, is this true?" Asked one of them.
"N-No, these people are just a bunch of radicalists trying to make false accusations." He told his fellow councilmembers.
"Oh really…?" Blair walked up with the files that she had printed, causing him to panic. "Because it says here, on September 15th, 2022, you made the purchase of an Ion Fusion Cannon, a planet buster I might add, and had it installed into Chad's ship for his birthday. Literally, on the same day." She explained it.
"T-That doesn't prove anything… it could have been someone else." Jonathan denied it as he tried to keep his composure.
"Ohh, I wouldn't say that." Jaden said as he brought up video footage of him purchasing it. "Because from the looks of things, I say you're looking pretty guilty, councilman." He told him.
The council members looked at Jonathan with a scowl as he kept sweating bullets as he took a handkerchief and wiped the sweat away. "Gentlemen, this is all completely a big misunderstanding, the fusion cannon was to defend the Earth from invading threats if the mecha units became obsolete." He informs them as he gestures to Ryosuke and his crew. "You know Ryosuke has long since had a reputation of being a radicalist." He reminded them.
That was when Sylvia stepped up showing a glare. "Councilors… are you really going to believe the word of your head councilman who is trying to worm his way out of this situation? Or are you going to take the initiative and decide what is more important?" She asked them.
Jonathan scowled at her as he grabbed her by his arm, squeezing it tightly as she whimpered from it. "You keep your mouth shut, or I will beat you to an inch of your-" Before he could finish his threat, Ryosuke grabbed his wrist and pulled him off of her as she backed away from him as Ryosuke pushed him away as Johnathan looked towards him and glared. "You assaulted me captain, that is a federal offense." He told him.
"That's not how they see it." Ryosuke pointed to the other council members who looked at Jonathan disapprovingly of his actions. "If anything, the files never lie, you tried covering up every piece of evidence, to keep your son from getting expelled, all to protect your reputation. Clearly this didn't go according to your plan, councilman." He told him.
Jonathan backed away as he glared. "This isn't a simple fight with an invading force, captain, not even you can prove the existence of these monsters that attacked your ship last week." He pointed out.
"I knew the video footage wouldn't have been enough, so I took it upon myself to gather as much evidence as I could. To prove you wrong." Ryosuke retorted as several people gasped in shock and surprise as they looked out the window. Two of the councilmen rushed to the window and saw the dead skeleton of Karasu laying on the front lawn of the council building.
Jonathan looked through a window and saw it as its decayed form was ruining all that he tried to create, he growled and turned towards Ryosuke with a glare. "This is preposterous! You all cannot expect me to believe that is real!" He yelled.
"Every inch of it… pure bone, bone marrow, and even bits of burnt flesh." Ryosuke argued as he glared. "And there's more out there, and we are the best line of defense to stand up against them." He gestured to himself and his team as they stepped up next to him.
Refusing to believe his ideals, Jonathan walked towards him with much hatred in his eyes for him and his family name. "You got away with many things, boy, but not this time. I will not allow you to disrupt the balance I swore to uphold as head of the council!" He yelled as he stepped in front of him. "Do I make myself clear, captain…?" He asked him.
But Ryosuke only glared at him as he clenched his fists, causing flames to erupt from them. "Clearly councilman… you have no idea what we had to deal with, especially when your son tried to kill me with the same fusion cannon you gave to him." He told him as his eyes glowed, causing Jonathan's eyes to widen upon seeing it. "But then again, you always were a fool, weren't you?" He asked him.
"I beg your pardon?!" Jonathan asked in disgust.
"You think by getting rid of me, you thought that the Kanbara name would be written off of the Garrison Historical Archive, because my mother was a hero, she had all the glory, while you were only second best. Am I right…?" Ryosuke asked him as he looked up at him with his eyes turned into Garoma's. "You couldn't stand her being three steps ahead of you."
"She took everything from me, my chance to be a hero, to be a leader!" Jonathan yelled at him.
"It wasn't yours to begin with! She was a greater hero than you ever will be!" Ryosuke retorted.
"THEN WHY WAS IT SO EASY TO CALL IN THAT INVASION TO KILL HER?!" Jonathan snapped only to realize he just spilt the beans.
Everyone in the room gasped in shock at what he just said. Ryosuke meanwhile was equally shocked but his eyes slowly narrowed at the councilman of what he said. "What…?!" He asked him as Jonathan panicked.
He tried to back away only to find the other council members behind him as they held stern glares at him. "Jonathan Worthington, explain yourself." Demanded one of the councilmen.
Jonathan was sweating bullets as everyone stared at him with stern looks, and a menacing glare from Ryosuke who was down right pissed. He turned towards the nearest door and tried to make a break for it, but Jaden surrounded himself with lightning as he became Avios but kept himself small as he flew over and blocked his path and screeched at him as everyone in the room panicked, Jonathan screamed as he backed away from him. He soon felt something behind him and saw that it was Jirou in Balduroc's form who snarled at him and smacked him across the room. He landed on the floor and groaned as he soon saw a blue high heel stepping up to him and looked up seeing Blair as Aquaria who glared at him and used her aquakinetic powers to lift him up from the floor and hold him. While Talosus and Catora held their claws at him as Ryosuke walked up to him. "What did you do, councilman… we are all dying to hear about it." He told him as he surrounded himself in flames and became Garoma as he walked up and growled at him.
Jonathan panicked upon seeing his razor sharp teeth as he could feel the heat of his fiery breath coming from his mouth as he saw flames filling his maw. "OKAY! OKAY! I called in the Lucian Invasion Force to attack the Earth, to get Haruka Kanbara out of the way, cause she had everything! Love, respect, and fame, and what have I got?! A disobedient son who used my fusion cannon to try and destroy you, but that would have been one other Kanbara out of my hair, and all the glory would have been mine!" He yelled.
Garoma meanwhile glared at him as his eyes became fiery red as flames filled his mouth even more, Sylvia panicked upon seeing it as she went to stop him. But before she could reach him, the flames within Garoma's mouth disappeared as he unleashed an angered roar against Jonathan's face, causing him to cringe and tremble as he felt the roar against his face. The fiery kaiju finished his roar and reverted back into Ryosuke, who was panting as tears ran down his face. He soon looked up to him with a glare as he wiped away his tears. "Your fate… is not in my hands." He told him as he looked at the councilmen and nodded his head at them.
The two councilmen nodded back and looked at Jonathan. "Councilman Worthington, you have brought shame upon this council, and the entire Garrison Fleet. You are hereby, removed from office, and sentenced to life in prison along with your son, Chadwick Worthington." One of the Councilmen declared as he looked at the guards. "Guards, take them away." He ordered as the guards walked over and grabbed Chad and his father, putting cuff's around their wrists, tightly to make sure they didn't try anything.
Jonathan struggled as he tried to get free. "You can't do this to me! The Council needs me more than you know! You cannot rely on these monsters to fight your battles!" He declared as he was taken away along with Chad.
But before they could exit the room, Misato and Colin got in the way as Misato kicked him hard in the groin while Colin punched Jonathan in the face, knocking him out cold as he rubbed his knuckles. "Shut the hell up." He told him as he let them pass through the door. "I've heard some nasty shit, but that crosses the line." He commented.
"Agreed… at least no one will have to deal with him anymore." Misato replied to him.
Ryosuke's team reverted back to their human forms to give everyone in the room to calm down, Jaden approached Ryosuke and touched his shoulder. "I'm sorry you had to hear that Ryo… we all didn't expect any of that." He told him.
"And for a second there, we thought you were close to killing him." Jirou said to him as he placed his hand on his left shoulder. "But hey man, you know it won't be worth it." He told him. Ryosuke lowered his head and closed his eyes, feeling tears building up as he managed to break down and fall to his knees. Sylvia kneeled to him and put her arms around him to comfort him as he cried silently, knowing this was hard for him and everyone else in the room.
(Tokyo Cemetery, Japan)
At the cemetery in Tokyo, Ryosuke was kneeling before his mothers grave as he looked upon it and saw a picture of his mother. Haruka who was smiling in the picture as Ryosuke looked at her and took two incense and lit them and placed them across from the tombstone and put out the flames as smoke flowed from the incense. He closed his eyes and held his hands together and bowed to his mothers grave. Sylvia approached him and kneeled beside him and looked upon Haruka's image, seeing how beautiful she was. "I never imagined I would come back after all these years." Ryosuke told her as he opened his eyes. "Right now, I don't know what she would think of me." He admitted.
Sylvia looked at him and reached over, touching his hand as she grasped it to comfort him. "This is not how I imagined to visit your mothers grave, but I know one thing, she would be proud of the man you've grown to be." She told him, seeing him turn towards her as she smiled at him. "Because I'm proud that you did not become what Garoma once was when he first arrived on this planet."
Ryosuke smiled at her as he grasped her hand and stood up beside her. "I'm happy that someone can see the light within every person or creature." He told her as she smiled at him and looked away hiding her reddening face as she moved bits of her hair behind her ear. "And I did promise to show you the Cherry Blossom Grove before we head back to the Garrison." He remembered.
"But, wouldn't that be half way across the city?" Sylvia asked him.
He shrugged his shoulders in response as he smirked. "We could always take a tour through the city before we get to the grove, come on it'll be fun." He told her.
Looking towards the city, in all its wonders and unknowns that lie within. She was still curious as to what the city would be like as she smiled and looked at Ryosuke and held his hand with both hands. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" She said as she ran off with him, unaware that they were being watched.
Blair and Jaden poked their heads out from behind a tree as they were wearing sunglasses, Blair was grinning as she watched them while her boyfriend had a deadpan look across his face. "Remind me, why are we following them again?" He asked her.
"Because, those two have a deep connection, more than they are willing to admit. And this at this point in time, feels like a date." Blair explained as she chuckled mischievously. "One way or another, those two are gonna find they possess enough love to even make Aphrodite jealous." She giggled.
Jaden rolled his eyes and smirked. "You're really bringing the love goddess into this? That's something I'd like to see… but hey, we better catch up to them before they get ahead of us." He told her as they came out of hiding from behind the tree and followed after them.
(Tokyo, Shinjuku District)
Ryosuke and Sylvia made their way through the city as Sylvia was taking in the astonishing sights, it was certainly different from what she was used to back on Sephoria. She even noticed various teenagers dressed up in anime cosplay as they were heading to a convention. Ryosuke smiled at seeing how excited she was as he decided to attend the convention with her. Unaware that Jaden and Blair were right behind them.
At the convention center, in the vendor room. Sylvia was amazed by all the cosplayers as well as the merchandise, from miniature figures of cute anime girls, to Gundam figurines, to manga and illustration books, to dvd and video game collections. There were even posters and t-shirt items, as well as body pillow slips with smoking hot anime girls on them, Sylvia approached a vendor that had tons of plushies that were so adorable, she could die happy. Ryosuke watched her look through the plushies trying to decide what to get. He soon took notice of two teenage boys eyeballing her ass, in which he got in the way and got them to look up at him. He shifted his face into Garoma for a brief second as he growled at them, causing them to panic and run off as Ryosuke quickly changed his face back and turned towards Sylvia, who held up a cute little dragon plushie that almost looked like Garoma, but with wings.
He looked at it and smiled as he pulled up the tag and saw the price, finding it to be pricey. He wanted to deny getting it, but how could he say no to Sylvia? After all, it was still her first time on Earth, so he sighed in defeat and pulled out his wallet and paid for the plushie as Sylvia squealed and held the plushie tightly as she and Ryosuke proceeded into the convention. Jaden and Blair were watching as they followed them. Blair watched them as they interacted with several cosplayers and got a few pictures together. She soon noticed that she and Jaden were next to a hentai booth, which made her grin as she looked to the owner and held up a few dollars to purchase a new dvd, in which he gladly took it and handed her a copy. Much to Jaden's dismay for it was his money she used, but she didn't care in the slightest.
Hours later, Ryosuke and Sylvia were at the mall, giving Sylvia a chance to try on different outfits in one of the clothing stores. She first tried on a casual purple t-shirt with blue bell bottom jeans that fit her pretty well. She then tried on a dress that was turquoise, with a skirt that reached down to her ankles. The next outfit was a light yellow dress that was up to her knees, and she had a blue flannel with it. The next outfit was a cosplay option that made her look like Princess Allura from Voltron Legendary Defender. Ryosuke liked each dress that she picked out, till the next one kind of made him cringe as she stepped out with a dress that was black, almost skin tight, which literally said sex appeal. In which he really didn't want her looking like that in public, so he recommended a different outfit.
Blair was watching, for she was the one who secretly suggested that outfit of choice, to the point she snapped her fingers as Jaden quietly snickered. Earning her attention as she grabbed him and pulled him into the clothes rack they were hiding in, earning surprised looks from shoppers and employees that saw it happen as they noticed the clothes rustling and heard some satisfied moans within the clothes, causing a lot of the female employee's and the female customers to blush intensely and walk away to go about their business.
A couple of hours later as the sun was beginning to set, Ryosuke was carrying the bags for Sylvia as they proceeded to the grove like he promised. Sylvia sighed as she stretched her arms up into the air and put her hands behind her as she was wearing a casual outfit that was a white dress with a skirt that was up to her waist. "This was really fun, I think I'm going to like it here on Earth." She commented.
"Well, it still has its problems, so don't think it will be like this every day." Ryosuke reminded her.
"I know, I'll keep that in mind." She replied as she giggled.
Ryosuke smiled only to look ahead as he noticed a familiar sight up ahead. He smiled and looked at Sylvia and took her hand. "Sylvia, I need you to close your eyes for a bit." He requested of her.
"What?" Sylvia asked as her face turned slightly red.
"Trust me, I'll let you know when to open them." He told her as she looked at him, she soon decided to humor him as she closed her eyes and he held her hand as he carefully led her to their destination. He led her onto a patch of grass to the point she could feel it touching her skin on her feet. Almost like it was a tickle as she proceeded to follow with her eyes closed. Ryosuke led her a bit further until he finally stopped and looked at her as he stopped her. "Okay, are you ready?" He asked her as she nodded her head and he let go of her hand. "Okay, open them." He told her.
She slowly started to open her eyes as the sun started to set, she looked amongst an amazing sight that she dreamed of seeing. She looked upon the Cherry Blossom Grove, where pink hues were given a nightly blue and purple hue as it felt like it illuminated the night. She was enchanted by how beautiful it was as she walked amongst the grove, taking in the spectacle as she twirled around and giggled, almost like she were in a fantasy. "Wow… this place is beautiful, just like you said." She said to him, still looking upon the grove.
Ryosuke smiled at her as he looked amongst the Cherry Blossoms, remembering the last time he was here with his mother. "The beauty of the Cherry Blossom Grove never ceased to amaze me, and with you here…?" He looked at her, seeing her look at him. "It makes it all the more special." He told her.
She smiled at him and walked over to him as she touched his hand. "I had a wonderful time Ryosuke… I'm happy I could spend my first time on Earth with you." She said as she grasped his hand.
He grasped her hand in return as they looked into each other's eyes, they couldn't look away as they were completely unaware of their onlookers hiding in the bushes. Jaden watched them and began to smile, but he soon took notice of Blair crying her eyes out from how beautiful the scene was. She sniffed as tears ran down her face like rivers, to the point she couldn't help but enjoy the moment. "This may not have gone how I imagined it, but it's all the more beautiful." She commented as she stifled her sobbing.
Jaden chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her waist and looked towards Ryosuke and Sylvia, who were beginning to lean towards one another. "Oh, babe…? I think you're about to get your wish." He pointed out.
Blair opened her eyes and looked as she saw Ryosuke and Sylvia slowly leaning towards each other, she slowly started to gasp as they were close to kissing each other. She went to pull her phone out to take a picture of this moment, but before the perfect moment could be complete, Ryosuke's communicator went off as he was being contacted by Misato. Blair heard it as she turned completely to stone, for the moment was completely ruined as Ryosuke answered. "Misato, now really isn't a good time." He told her.
"Sorry to ruin your night Ryosuke, but we have a problem. A kaiju has appeared, and it's making its way towards your location at high speed." She informed him as gusts of wind soon started to pick up, causing Ryosuke and Sylvia to shield themselves from the hard winds as they looked up and saw a giant female harpy flying over them. She had armor over her body, showing her slim figure as giant wings were on her back, possessing razor sharp talons and had white hair with grayish blue skin and light brown feathers.
Ryosuke looked at her and immediately recognized her face for it was a face he knew too well. "May?!" He called out.
She looked down towards him and grinned, she reached down and grabbed him as he struggled within her grasp while she pulled him away from Sylvia who tried to grab onto her. "Ryosuke!" She cried out as Jaden and Blair ran up to her.
"Please tell me that isn't who I think it is." Jaden pleaded.
"The girl who has a crush on Ryosuke, May Valcula? Yeah, looks like it." Blair replied.
"May Valcula…? Is she…?" Sylvia began to ask.
"No, rest assured, Ryosuke held no feelings towards her, he only saw her as a friend." Jaden assured her.
"But I think May have other ideas other than friendship." Blair pointed out as they looked to see May nuzzling Ryosuke against her face like a little toy, much to his discomfort as he felt like he was going to get crushed by his crush. "He better do something before she literally crushes him." She suggested.
Ryosuke struggled to get free from her grasp as he managed to get his arms freed from her grasp and he tried to push away from her face. "May! You're going to kill me like this!" He exclaimed as May pulled him away from her face. "What in the hell happened to you?!" He asked her demanding to know why she was like this.
"At first I thought this was merely a dream, but now that I see this is all real, so I came out here to find you, and here you are!" She replied as she looked at herself in the river, starting to purr at her own beauty. "Hello beautiful." She complimented herself as she let out a wolf whistle at herself. "Mama like."
Ryosuke meanwhile struggled to break free of her grasp. "May, you need to stop this…! That crystal in your chest is surrounded by evil, you have to get rid of it!" He pleaded to her.
"And why should I? I find out that you were branded a traitor by the council, I go out to find you, then I find myself in a lair that belongs to a psycho dragon that gave me this. With it, I can have anything, or anyone I want. Especially… you Ryosuke." She told him as his eyes widened. "And this time, I am never letting you go." She said as she grinned seductively and flew off with him from the Cherry Blossom Grove, causing Sylvia and the others to follow after them.
Ryosuke struggled to break free and found there was only one way out of this as he growled. "Sorry May, I know how much you love me, but I don't share your feelings. So I'm sorry for what I'm about to do!" He shouted as flames surrounded his body, causing her hand to burn as she shrieked and dropped him as she put out the flames and looked to where Ryosuke fell only to see the flames rise up and form Ryosuke into Garoma as he landed on the ground outside the city and almost missed a few cars and people upon landing, people around him screamed upon seeing him as May landed in front of him and stood up and looked at him, noticing that he stood higher than her.
He growled a bit as she observed his form, but it made her grin all the more seductive as she let out a snarl and tackled him, Garoma backed away as he struggled to get her off of him, but she was determined as she is in fact stubborn. He snarled at her as he managed to throw her off as she took flight and landed on a building and stood up. "You know Ryosuke, if you turned into this form a lot earlier, you and I could be getting busy with the entire city to see." She told him, only to hear him let out a disgustful grunt, given that he couldn't speak in his current form. "Oh, right, dinosaur form, basically he can't talk, duh May!" She facepalmed herself but smirked. "But it will still be fun for me to take you down, as Lady Avane!" She charged at him, taloning out as Garoma prepared for it. She shrieked as she lashed at him with her talons, but he ducked under them as he quickly used his tail to snare her leg as she flew over. One fast tug on her leg, he managed to pull her down and slam her against the ground.
She groaned from it as she held her head, only to gasp and look up as Garoma stood over her, growling as he went to pin her down with his foot. But before he could attempt to pin her, he was suddenly blasted away by an unknown source as he let out a painful cry and smashed against a building, causing it to collapse on top of him. Avane looked to the cause, finding that it was Ahote in his kaiju form as he approached her. Jaden witnessed it as he ran onto the street and saw it. "What the fuck is that?!" He asked.
Sylvia saw it as he looked between Ahote's Kaiju form, and Avane's. "I can't believe it, two of Violet Queen's Vanguard in one place?" She asked.
"Vanguard?" Blair asked as she walked up. "You mean these two are…?"
"Yes, they are Violet Queen's most vicious creatures, Avane is the Queen of the Harpies, she is stronger and faster than Karasu in every way, shape or form. Then there's Zor'Rex, a dual headed Tyrannosaurus that was the apex predator during the Kaiju War." She explained as Zor'Rex let out a powerful roar as Garoma pulled himself out from the debris and turned towards Zor'Rex, letting out a snarl towards him as Zor'Rex charged towards him. Garoma snarled as he avoided the jaws of both heads and punched the left head in its right cheek and backhanded the right head as he grabbed hold of it and pulled him down and slammed him against the ground, causing Zor'Rex to shriek as he rolled across the ground. Garoma charged towards him in an attempt to stomp him down, but the left head whipped around and bit down on his leg, causing Garoma to roar out in pain as Zor'Rex got up and pulled his leg, making him fall down as Garoma slammed against the streets. Zor'Rex soon bit down on his tail and pulled hard, swinging Garoma across the ground and tossed him towards another building.
He crashed against it as it toppled over and slammed against the building behind it, Garoma writhed from what he was going through as he was covered in debris. Zor'Rex snarled as he made his way towards Garoma to kill him, but Avane got in the way to stop him. "Ahote, stop! I get we have a job to do, but is it worth killing innocent people?" She gestured to the civilians as they were screaming and running. But Zor'Rex snorted as a sign he didn't care, instead shoved past Avane and moved towards Garoma. But Avane, given her complete affection towards Ryosuke, got in the way to stop him. "Ahote, I'm warning you, if you endanger these people, you will answer to me." She warned him as her talons extended, causing Zor'Rex to growl at her, till he felt Garoma's tail snare his right leg as Garoma pulled hard and made Zor'Rex to shriek and fall back as he crashed against the ground.
Avane saw it and looked towards Garoma as he got up with his spikes glowing fiery orange and he unleashed his Sephorian breath, causing Avane to fly over and away as the stream of fire shot towards Zor'Rex and hit his chest, causing him to roar out in pain as he slid across the ground and slammed both of his heads into a building. Garoma finishes his attack and snorts as he walks towards Sor'Rex to see if he is conscious or not, but he forgot about Avane as she swooped down towards him and lands on his back, causing him to roar out and struggle to get her of as she wrapped her arms around her neck while avoiding the spikes along his back, as well as the horns while Garoma thrashed around trying to get her off of him. Jaden and Blair rushed to the street and looked at the battle as Sylvia ran up and watched. "Jaden, Blair, you need to help Garoma, now!" She ordered.
"Way ahead of you sister." Jaden replied as lightning shot down towards him from the heavens and struck him, allowing him to become Avios as he shrieked and took flight. Water surrounded Blair as it allowed her to become Aquaria and looked towards Avane, she leapt into the sky as she landed a solid kick against Avane's torso, knocking her off of Garoma as she let out a painful grunt and crashed against the ground. She looked up and saw Avios diving towards her as he reached out with his talons on his feet to snatch her. Avane quickly avoided his talons as she took flight away from him, and he pursued her as Aquaria used her aquakinetic abilities to form a water spear. She held it up and tossed it towards Avane, which she quickly noticed with her great vision and grabbed hold of the spear. Aquaria narrowed her eyes as she clapped her hands together and spread her arms out, causing the spear to spread out and form a net around Avane, snaring her as she shrieked and fell towards the ground.
Upon crashing, the water net bursts and gets Avane wet as she groans and holds her left shoulder from the impact as she looks towards Aquaria, who approaches her as water surrounds her arms. "Seriously, May, you think that by becoming this…?" She gestures to her form. "You think Ryosuke would fall for that…?" She asked her.
Avane scoffed as she stood up. "Oh please, Blair, you've had every boy in the garrison falling for you. Hell you even had Jaden pleasuring you to no end ya bleach blonde bimbo!" She yelled at her.
Aquaria chuckled as she crossed her arms. "Please, like you're one to talk, you're equally a blonde, just as hot, but your cup size could use a little catching up." She joked as she chuckled, causing Avane to growl and walk towards her as Aquaria walked towards her.
The two stood up close to each other as their breasts touched one another and they were glaring at each other. "You're gonna be one dead codfish." Avane warned her.
"Big talk coming from a double decker feather duster." Aquaria replied as the two stepped back.
Avane meanwhile observed her form and grabbed her by her left breast. "Ha, what a distasteful form." She stated her disgust.
"Again, like you're one to talk?" Aquaria asked as she grabbed her feathers over her breasts lifting them up. "Ain't this form a little drafty?" She asked as some onlookers were watching in delight and getting horny from the two groping each other as the two female titans looked towards them. "Shouldn't you be running or something?" She asked them as they panicked and ran off, allowing Aquaria to look back to one another. "Now, let's settle this." She told her.
"Bring it, bitch!" She tackled Aquaria down as the two female titans rolled across the ground, punching each other while pulling each other's hair. Avios watched the two fight and turned towards Garoma and Zor'Rex as they fought one another. Zor'Rex snarled from both heads as he went to bite Garoma's head off with the right one, but Garoma knocked the head away and saw the left head coming in for a bite to his shoulder. Avios flew in and grabbed onto the head and pulled it away to keep him from biting Garoma as Zor'Rex shrieked from it as Garoma kicked him hard, forcing him to stumble back as Avios kicked him hard in the face.
Zor'Rex felt it as well as three claws to the left side of his left head, leaving three gashes over his face as he writhed in pain from it. The two headed Tyrannosaurus roared out and unleashed his flaming breath towards Avios, causing him to fly away from the flames as some of the flames hit some of the buildings that were still occupied with civilians. Sylvia saw it as she rushed towards the buildings as people started evacuating from the fire, while some were still trapped inside. She ran through the building as the fight outside continued, she looked around as she coughed from the smoke as she covered her face with a cloth and ran further into the fire. "Help! Somebody help! My child is trapped!" Cried out a mother within the fire.
Sylvia looked up to where the crying came from, she rushed and leapt to the railing and jumped from railing to railing and reached to where the mother was, surprising her as she landed safely on the floor. "Where is she?" She asked her.
"Room 109, he's got asthma, he can't breathe! Please, you must save him!" The mother pleaded to her as Sylvia nodded and ran towards the room and opened the door, shielding herself from the fires that engulfed the room. She heard the cries of the child inside the flames and took a curtain and covered herself to protect herself.
She looked around and looked towards a corner, seeing the boy crying and coughing from the smoke as Sylvia rushed towards him as she kept herself covered from the flames. The boy heard her approach and saw her as he let out a gasp. "It's okay, I'm here to help. You're going to be alright." She told him as she took the curtain and covered him with it. "I'll get you out of here, just stay close, okay?" She told him as he nervously nodded.
She lifted him up and headed straight for the door, but before she could reach it, the ceiling collapsed in front of her, blocking her path as she and the boy screamed from it. Sylvia backed away as the flames grew bigger as she held the boy in her arms, she turned towards the window and rushed to it and looked out seeing Garoma was near her location as he fought Zor'Rex. The boy looked at Garoma amazed at what he looked like as he looked at Sylvia. "Miss, is that monster here to save us?" He asked her.
Sylvia smiled as she looked at him. "Yes… Garoma is a protector, you have nothing to worry about." She assured him but felt the fire getting closer as she looked back to the fire, she knew there was only one way out as she looked back out the window and raised her leg and kicked the window out. "GAROMA!" She called out to him as Garoma heard it and looked towards the building, eyes widening upon seeing Sylvia inside it as he held Zor'Rex back. She climbed out of the window with the boy and looked to him as the flames shot through the window as she narrowly avoided getting burnt, but she still felt the intense heat from the fire as she shielded the boy. But the ground beneath her started to collapse as she felt her footing falling out, causing her to scream and fall with the boy. Garoma panicked as he looked back to Zor'Rex and punched him hard in the face and ran fast towards the building as Sylvia fell with the boy. He leapt towards them and reached out his hand underneath them, allowing them to land within his hand as he crashed against the ground. Sylvia held the boy close as her eyes were clenched shut, she eventually opened them as she looked around and saw that Garoma had caught them just in time.
He looked at them and growled softly as he got up and kneeled down and lowered his hand down to the streets where the mother waited with several onlookers. Sylvia and the boy climbed down safely as Sylvia walked with him towards his mother, in which she ran towards them. "Kenichi!" She ran up and hugged him.
"Mama!" He cried out and held her as Sylvia smiled and looked towards Garoma, who looked at her and nodded to her as she nodded back at him.
The mother cried as she looked up at her and stood up. "Young lady, thank you." She expressed her gratitude to her.
"It's okay… it's Garoma who actually saved him." She admitted and looked at him. "Just as he saved my people from terror." She explained but looked towards the mother and her son. "You two need to evacuate, go, find the nearest shelter, quickly." She told them.
"Of course, come on Kenichi." The mother told him as she ran off with him.
Kenichi looked back and looked towards Sylvia and waved at her. "Thank you miss!" He called out to her as Sylvia smiled and looked towards the fight as Garoma stood up and turned back to Zor'Rex and snarled as Zor'Rex charged at him and rammed against him, but Garoma held his ground as Zor'Rex tried to use his superior strength to push him down. He snarled at the two headed terror and started pushing him back to keep him away from the civilians as Sylvia rushed herself to safety.
Meanwhile, Aquaria spun around and slammed a powerful high kick against Avane's face, causing her to spin around and stumble from it as Aquaria charged at her and punched at her, only for Avane to block her attacks as she used her skill to block her attacks. Aquaria managed to land a few good hits against her torso and face as she grabbed hold of her arm and threw her over as Avane fell towards the ground, but she spread her wings and took flight to avoid hitting the ground as she got herself up and landed on a building. "Ha! Top that Blair!" She told her as Aquaria glared and used her aquakinetic abilities to raise her up as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.
This immediately surprised Avane as Aquaria waved at her and suckerpunched her in the face as she shrieked and crashed against another building that was behind her, and luckily, it was evacuated as Aquaria charged at her and went to punch her again. Avane's eyes snapped open as she deflected her attack and grabbed the back of her head and slammed her face against the building, causing Aquaria to grunt from it as she used her aquatic abilities to snare Avane's head and throw her off of her as she pulled her face out of the building and glared at Avane fiercely. "That's it, time to clip your wings!" She yelled as she formed aquatic blades and charged at her.
Avane saw it and went to defend herself, but Aquaria managed to slice through her talons, causing her to scream and hold her hands as she glared at her for it. "You bitch! You know how much it cost me to have my nails done?!" She asked her.
"Calm down, you got a regenerating ability, you'll have your talons back in a few days. No promises." She replied as she went to strike her wings, but Avane threw dirt in her face as Aquaria shielded herself as the harpy queen leapt at her, snarling as she tackled her down and started beating her face with all her might. Aquaria felt her punches as she tried to defend herself, she managed to reach behind Avane and grab hold of her hair and pulled her back as the harpy screamed from it as Aquaria kicked her hard in the stomach while Avane coughed up blood from it.
Allowing Aquaria to get up as she brought both her hands together and grasped them together and slammed them against Avane's face as she screamed and fell to the ground, groaning as she fell unconscious. Aquaria flipped her hair back as she rubbed her face from the pain she received, meanwhile Garoma and Zor'Rex were struggling with one another as Zor'Rex grabbed hold of his arm and bit it, causing Garoma to bleed as he roared in pain from it. He snarled viciously as he bit down on the dinosaur's neck, getting him to let go and shriek as Zor'Rex struggled to get him off.
The other head went to bite Garoma's neck, but he quickly noticed it as he grabbed him by his throat, choking him as Zor'Rex shrieked and struggled to get free. The two titans struggled as Zor'Rex worked enough strength to throw Garoma off and blast him with his dual fire breath, the guardian shielded himself from the flames as he slid back from the flames. Once Zor'Rex finished his attack, he let out a bellowing roar from both heads as Garoma stood still for a moment and lowered his arms. He opened his eyes and glared at the two headed beast as his back spikes began to glow neon orange. Zar'Rex noticed this as flames filled Garoma's mouth, causing the two headed dinosaur to growl and recharge his dual flame breath and unleash it upon Garoma as he unleashed his Sephorian Breath against the two flames that were unleashed upon him. Both attacks were in a power struggle in which one could not beat the other, Garoma tried to gain the upper hand as he tried to make his attack stronger, but Zor'Rex was unleashing two streams as he made his attack a lot more powerful. Garoma felt this as he knew he was in trouble, that was until Avios arrived and landed beside him. He lighting surrounded his body as it soon began to fill his mouth, allowing him to unleash an electric energy breath against Zar'Rex's attack, giving Garoma the power boost he needed as both guardians pushed the dinosaur's flames back, causing his eyes to widen as the attacks hit him hard in the chest, causing the two headed dino to roar out in pain as he was pushed back. He fell to the ground and slammed against it as the attacks finished, he groaned in pain as he saw the two guardians, including Aquaria approach him as she tossed Avane towards him.
She glared at him as she crossed her arms. "Give a little message to your boss… if you or May show up in this city again, or any other city in the world. We will be there to stop you, any time, any place." She told him, knowing neither Garoma or Avios could speak. Zar'Rex growled angrily as he reached with his hand and grabbed Avane and disappeared with her through Violet Queen's dark magic. Seeing this, the three guardians looked upon each other knowing that the message will get to Violet Queen and whoever she serves.
At that moment, Sylvia had returned after getting everyone to shelter and looked at Garoma, who looked to where she was and kneeled down to her. She walked up to him and looked into his eyes as he looked at her, she smiled at him as she reached and touched his snout. "You did well Ryosuke… I noticed you were trying to hold in that anger, how are you feeling now…?" She asked him as he looked at her and let out a calm exhale, feeling relieved that all the anger he let out was gone. She smiled seeing it, but her smile faded when she heard the sound of jets and tanks approaching.
Garoma raised his head as he, Avios and Aquaria looked around seeing the army approaching. Avios saw this as a bad sign, knowing that they were not informed of their current condition. The lead commander stepped up next to the tanks as he looked upon the three guardians. "Men, arm the tanks and be ready to fire on my command." He ordered.
Sylvia heard it surprised and rushed out and got in the way, holding her arms out in defense of them. "Stop what you're doing!" She told him.
The commander saw her and stepped forward. "Young lady, you need to get out of the way, these monsters need to be put down." He ordered her.
"They were trying to stop the ones that were attacking! They didn't hurt anybody!" Sylvia argued.
"She's right!" Called out Kenichi as he and his mother stepped forward with the rest of the civilians. "The red one saved my life, he's not a threat!" He told them.
"He still caused damage to the city, and any good monster is a dead one. Men, remove them from the firing range!" The commander ordered.
"Stand down Commander Harashi." Ordered a stern feminine voice, everyone looked to see Misato approaching with a stern look. "These creatures are under my protection, and you won't so much as lay a finger on them." She told him.
"This doesn't concern you Commander Shirogane, I have orders from Councilman Worthington to terminate these things on sight." He informed her.
"Well maybe you didn't hear, but Jonathan Worthington is locked up. Therefore he is no longer Head of the Council, or did he forget to tell you that when he called you from prison?" Misato asked him.
Harashi tried to hide it, but he stayed firm as he stood up to her. "Be that as it may, my orders are final, and I will not let you stand in the way of me killing these beasts." He told her as he shoved her away, only to see Garoma's fist land in front behind Misato as he looked up to Garoma who growled at him and let out a roar towards him.
Harashi felt the strong breath and smelled it from where he stood, for it smelled like fire and brimstone as Garoma finished his roar. Misato smirked as she crossed her arms. "Better think twice before you go pissing him off." She told him, Harashi scowled at her and looked towards Garoma, who scowled back at him as Harashi turned around and walked away. Garoma and the two guardians watched as he and the army left, Avios watched as the air force jets removed themselves from the area and return to where they came from. Misato watched as it was all clear and she turned towards the guardians to give them the okay. "Alright, they're gone now!" She called out.
Garoma nodded his head as he, Avios and Aquaria reverted back to their human forms as Sylvia walked towards Ryosuke and touched his shoulder. "You all right…?" She asked him.
"I will once we get these matters all sorted out." He replied to her and looked at her. "I'm sorry that our time in the grove was ruined." He apologized.
But Sylvia shook her head as she smiled at him. "I had a really fun day, minus the running into a burning building and nearly falling to my death." She replied as she smiled at him.
Ryosuke smiled back only to feel something tugging at his pants leg, he looked down and found Kenichi standing near him and looking at him. "Mister, were you that monster who saved me?" He asked him.
Ryosuke looked at him then to Sylvia, wanting her approval as she looked at him and smiled as she gestured to him to tell the young boy. Ryosuke smiled at her and looked at Kenichi as he kneeled down to him as he touched his shoulder. "I am… but, you can't tell anyone. Not your parents, not even your friends in school." He told him.
"But why…? You're so cool." Kenichi told him.
"That may be, but you know those superheroes in comics?" Ryosuke asked him, seeing him nod his head. "Well, all heroes have a secret identity, and they need people they can trust with such secrets. Can I trust you to keep this secret?" He asked him.
Kenichi thought about it and looked at Ryosuke, forming a determined smile as he held up his fists. "Yes, I promise to keep your secret. I'll even take it to my grave." He declared.
This made Ryosuke chuckle as he stood up and rubbed his head. "Let's not go to that extent kiddo, now you better get back to your mother now." He told him as Kenichi nodded his head and ran back to his mother. She reached down and lifted him up into her arms as she smiled at Ryosuke, and started walking away with Kenichi.
Sylvia smiled at seeing how joyful Kenichi was, she turned her gaze over to Ryosuke as she touched his hand and grasped it. "That was very nice of you." She told him.
"Kids need a hero to look up to, I guess being that kid's hero is one way to start off." Ryosuke replied as he looked at her and grasped her hand. "I'm even glad this night wasn't a total loss." He told her as Sylvia blushed a bit and looked away while fixing her hair a bit.
Meanwhile Blair sighed as she held one hand on her hip. "It was a total loss for me thou-" Before she could finish her sentence, her jaw popped which caused her to wince. "AAARRGH! Fuck, that hurt!" She cried out as she rubbed her jaw.
"Don't worry babe, at least you had it easy with May, Ahote meanwhile was difficult, especially with those two heads." Jaden pointed it out.
Which reminded Ryosuke as he and Sylvia looked towards them. "Which brings us to the question, how did they get their crystals…? The only logical answer is Violet Queen, who has resources, and answers to a higher power." He told them.
"But the other question is, who is providing her with said resources?" Sylvia asked.

Back at Violet Queen's palace, both May and Ahote were getting patched up from their battles as Ahote smacked a healer's hand away. "It was three against two and a half, and still they defeated us." Ahote pointed out.
"Well maybe if you hadn't butted in, I would've had Ryosuke to myself, and he wouldn't have become a problem." May told him.
"Well if you had done your job and not listened to your hormones, we wouldn't be in this situation!" Ahote argued.
Causing May to regrow her talons and hold them to the right side of his face. "Want me to make your face match the otherside, Two-face?" She asked him.
"Enough!" Jason shouted at them as he approached them alongside Kimberly. "What happened in Tokyo wasn't just May's fault, but yours as well Ahote. You didn't help her when she was fighting Blair, you were too focused on Ryosuke." He told him.
"Well someone needed to, in order to help the stone dragon get one obstacle out of the way. But she was in the way." Ahote pointed out to May who scoffed in response.
"I was trying to make sure no lives were taken, unlike you." She told him.
"Casualties are an unfortunate consequence of war, you should know that by now." Ahote replied.
"Look!" Jason stopped them from bickering further. "Right now, this is not our war, we didn't sign up for it, and we didn't ask for these crystals." He pointed at his chest, showing the red crystal as it glowed. "We don't know what Shenrah's intentions are, all we know is that when he gets his two remaining crystals, he'll be done with us." He told them.
"Which is why we need to be cautious, we can't trust him, or Kiriko." Kimberly told them, unaware that William was watching from within a dark corridor.
He silently chuckled as he kept himself hidden. "Trust, but verify, but I have no need to worry." He quietly stated as he used his arachnid legs to crawl along the wall. "Because I have plans for Shenrah, to make sure he doesn't betray me instead." He declared as he crawled away into the darkness.
(Hey guys, here is the latest chapter of my story, and boy did I go dark with this one in regards to Haruka Kanbara, Ryosuke's mother. But hey, every hero needs a tragic backstory, so why not make it even darker when one of your enemies is a backstabbing human. I also thought it would be cool to include an anime convention in this chapter for Sylvia to explore. And true fact, there are often Hentai sections at Anime conventions, I know, because I went to SacAnime this month to meet the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Got their autographs and met Dante Basco for the first time. I only missed two autographs, and that was Toph and Katara. Sad, I know… but I hope to see them next time.
