Chapter 12: Saiyans and Serenity, Part 2

Kami's Lookout the atmosphere was much more tense than usual. Dende and Piccolo were both tense as the two of them felt the energies of the Dark Kingdom descend upon Vegeta and Gohan. Piccolo was particularly angry at the fact that the two saiyans went in without senzu beans at their all out spar. The Namek was no more relieved when he felt the energies of the sailor senshi, as he felt that those girls were largely unproven.

Dende was solemn, he felt empathy for Gohan and to some extent Vegeta. Unlike Piccolo, he knew that he couldn't go down there and battle with Beryl and her Generals. The Earth's Guardian knew that if he went down to heal Gohan then he would be slain, causing the Dragonballs to go inert.

"I can't believe those two, leaving without senzu beans!" Piccolo shouted at the whole situation.

"Perhaps it's because the supply of the beans is limited," a voice said. Piccolo turned toward that deep voice and saw that it came from a short, dwarfish man. The turban-headed figure with a black vest and white baggy pants on his person walked up to the taller namekian.

"Ok Popo, I know those are limited. But still, with the enemy clearly having intelligence, one would think that they would take a couple just in case," Piccolo argued.

"I believe that Korin wanted to build a surplus, or it could be that those two forgot. In any case, I suggest that we let the situation play out. You said it yourself once Piccolo. You won't be able to save young Gohan forever," Mr. Popo said.

Piccolo knew that the black genie like figure was right, and decided to not argue back. Him arguing with the caretaker of the lookout would be among the least productive thing he could do at that moment. The warrior of this particular trio knew that he would jump in if Gohan had gotten in any worse danger.

Down into the Gobi Desert, the senshi were all in a line ready to defend the resting Gohan. The standoff between the three members of the Dark Kingdom and the five senshi was intense, with neither side making a move.

Queen Beryl was behind her two remaining Heavenly Kings, taking in the situation. She knew that her servants were powerful, but the five senshi could pose a problem for the two of them. The queen felt that she was close to total victory, as she knew that what she deducted as their greatest threat has been neutralized for the moment.

"Attack!" was the simple command of Beryl.

The two generals were quick to oblige as they fired their yellowish green blasts at the senshi. The senshi put up an energy shield, which was able to take the attacks without damaging the girls. The senshi fired their respective attacks toward the pair, but each attack was dispelled as soon as it reached them.

The exhausted Gohan watched as his five allies and his two former servants from the past fight each other. The boy couldn't help but admire their courage as they battled on against the enemy. Gohan knew that he was getting valuable recovery time and began to ponder what he would do should he rejoin the battle. For now all he could do is rest, and hope he could muster enough energy to finish the fight.

Zoicite and Kunzite seemed to battle like experts taking on novices. However, the senshi's attacks started landing. Kunzite only had singed clothes, though Zoicite has a couple hit him flush. The attack from Mars and Jupiter that struck Zoicite only seemed to mildly damage him at best. This could be a war of attrition, or at least that's what Kunzite thought as he battled.

Two powerful blasts from the generals struck the senshi, which sent them onto the ground. The girls after around ten seconds were able to stand up with little difficulty. It seems that the girls have gotten stronger through all the battles with the Dark Kingdom.

The battle raged on. Magic attacks flying everywhere as both sides looked to gain an advantage.

Sailor Moon, who had been defensive the whole time, was looking for an opening to use her signature attack. A couple of times she tried to use her tiara, though both were dodged by each of the generals. The crescent boomerang of Sailor V struck true onto Zoicite, which stunned him for the moment. Moon knew that this was her opening.

"Moon Healing Escalation!" shouted the dual bun headed senshi as a blast came from her Moon Rod.

The white attack struck true onto Zoicite, causing the general to scream out in intense pain. The general crashed onto the ground, now in the same condition that Gohan seemed to be in at the moment. The five senshi turned their attention to Kunzite, who they knew was much stronger than all of the other generals.

"Do your worst!" Kunzite taunted.

The senshi fired their attacks at the General, who was able to deflect them effortlessly. However, with all five of them attacking the single general, the techniques came at him with much more frequency. Kunzite had a progressively harder time keeping up with the senshi as a result, and in spite of him repelling the senshi away with a few attacks of his own was struck true by an Akiyo Taisan and a Supreme Thunder.

The two attacks did knock him back, but were unable to keep him down for long as he sprang to his feet and erected a shield. The follow up Moon Healing Escalation was blocked, but not without considerable effort from the general. Kunzite started charging an energy blast, one seemingly more concentrated than before. An errant blast came out of nowhere at the silver haired one. Kunzite saw it out of the corner of his eye however and leapt out of the way. The attack also caused Beryl to take to the air as it crashed onto the rock that she was perched on.

Kunzite looked over and saw the tired Gohan, a smirk on the now standing saiyan's face. That distraction was all that was needed as Sailor Moon took advantage with another Moon Healing Escalation. The attack struck flush onto Kunzite, sending him crashing onto the ground. The general was able to stand, but not without considerable effort as he seemingly was on unstable legs.

Gohan took a deep breath as he went down to his hands and knees. The saiyan felt that he gave an effort enough for the senshi to bring down both Kunzite and Zoicite once and for all. Gohan then looked over at the ragged form of both generals as Zoicite got back on his feet finally. Gohan boosted himself to his feet finally feeling stable enough to stand. His energy wasn't back to full by any means as he looked toward the battle.

The senshi couldn't finish the generals off however, as Beryl made her presence known in the skirmish. The queen launched a powerful, dark pink attack at all the senshi. The force sent all five girls back toward the saiyan with force. Sailor Moon landed right at the feet of Gohan, which caused him to go down to his knees so he could check on her.

"You alright Usagi," Gohan asked.

"Yeah," Sailor Moon said through gritted teeth as she struggled to her feet. The other senshi followed suit, though even more slowly than their leader.

Beryl cackled with malevolent laughter as she knew she was in control. The woman then sent six balls of dark magic, all headed toward their targets. Five struck true and sent the senshi back. The sixth was being held back by Gohan, who pushed against the attack with both hands.

"Sit down, boy!" Beryl exclaimed as she sent a small purple light toward the attack, causing it to explode. Gohan flew back and wound up going several feet past the senshi before his body dragged the ground.

The queen floated downward toward the group. She watched as each of the senshi struggled to their feet. With a wave of her hand the senshi were forced back down onto the ground. The queen walked past Sailor Moon, who meekly tried to attack with her Moon Rod. Beryl turned around and struck the rod with her staff, knocking the weapon away from the senshi leader. Satisfied that her foe was subdued for now, she made her way toward her battered saiyan foe.

Gohan put his hands onto the dirt, trying to push himself up onto his feet. The boy fell down onto his butt and looked up at the dark queen. The saiyan looked at the queen with a tired face, but filled with determination. The boy felt that he had nothing left, but wanted to still fight Beryl.

"Boy, you have caused much trouble for me. You and your little girlfriend have been a thorn in my side long enough," Beryl told Gohan.

"So what are you going to do, kill me?" Gohan asked tiredly, and yet mockingly.

"Kill you? Now why would I do that. You will be my servant, just like your friend back at my castle," Beryl said before she looked out of the corner of her eye at Sailor Moon, crawling toward her Moon Rod.

"Go ahead, that rod will be nothing against me," Beryl taunted.

Sailor Moon stopped in her tracks. Satisfied how Sailor Moon reacted, she turned her attention back to Gohan. The queen raised her rod up into the air and a black energy crackled at the head of the staff.

"Now Gohan, I was going to take you back to the palace. But I think it will be better if Sailor Moon saw you become mine!" Beryl shouted before that black light slammed onto Gohan's head.

The saiyan felt a pain that would dwarf even the worst of migraines. The boy screamed out as he tried to fight the black magic of the queen. The spell and his mind continued to clash, leaving Gohan feeling like his head was about to explode. On his knees, his fists slammed into the ground as he struggled.

Sailor Moon was aghast as she saw her boyfriend's fight. Tears streamed down her face as she felt desperation inside her very being. Making her way to her feet, the girl walked her way toward the two of them slowly. The girl was determined as she did not want Gohan to fall into the control of the Dark Kingdom.

"Fight it Gohan!" she screamed.

The scream had gotten the attention of the queen. A smirk graced her features as she put a hand to her lips. Beryl felt that his girl would not succeed and gave out an evil laugh.

"What makes you think you can help him, you useless girl," Beryl said with utmost confidence.

Usagi ignored the queen as she urged her boyfriend to fight off this attempt to control him. Slowly the young woman went from a soldier covered in dirt, to a dirty soldier who had a light shine from her very being. The light grew as she urged her saiyan partner, to which everyone started taking notice.

"Fight It!" she screamed as loud as she could.

The light went from somewhat shimmering, to outright blinding at her last scream. All people had to shield their eyes from the intense light that shot out from the darkness of night.

Inside Gohan's Mind….

Gohan walked in the middle of what seemed like endless darkness. The saiyan trudged his way through the blackness. The darkness started changing into so many shades of black and purple that Gohan couldn't count them all. The saiyan looked over and saw a shadow in the distance.

The shadow took shape and Gohan recognized it instantly. The form was his 10 year old self, in the form of Super Saiyan 2. The boy looked over and smirked at the older version of himself. Gohan looked at the 10 year old himself with a bit of confusion.

"You know it's your fault he died," little Gohan spat at the larger one.

"No, he forgave me for my mistake," Gohan returned.

"But it is a mistake you made. One that cost you your father. I know how you will never make that mistake again," the Super Saiyan 2 taunted.

"How," Gohan simply said.

"By joining the Dark Kingdom. Queen Metalia will make you the perfect fighter. You alongside Beryl would be the best thing for you," Little Gohan said as if it were the most obvious thing to do.

"And if I don't," Gohan said as he went into stance.

"I'll make you, and you will see your true place," SSJ 2 Chibi Dark Gohan said with a sadistic glee.

Gohan took it as a challenge and powered up to the same state. The two of them clashed, as the smaller one and the bigger one brawled inside the black and purple void. The little Gohan had gotten a hard shot on the grown version and kicked him onto the ground.

"Wait a minute, how am I loosing against my 10 year old self...I'm sure that I'm stronger than I was back then," Gohan said to himself.

"I know you are, and so am I?" Dark Gohan taunted as if he heard the other one perfectly.

"What the," Gohan said confused.

"It's simple. We will be one. Now JOIN ME!" Dark Gohan said as his voice distorted more and more with every word.

The chibi saiyan opened his arms wide. A vacuum effect started pulling Gohan toward the little figure. The teenage saiyan dug his heels into the ground of this mental realm, but it seemed to only slow this process down. Slowly, Gohan was being pulled towards his darker self. Gritting his teeth, the boy tried to do backwards steps, but it seemingly was to no avail.

Behind the chibi figure of Gohan was a bright light. This light took the shape of a familiar young girl in long pigtails with two odangos in her hair. The light dissipated to show that it was indeed Usagi, but something different was noticed about her. The Usagi-like figure was not in her Sailor Moon garb, but in a long white dress. Both Gohan's noticed this along with the crescent moon on her forehead.

Gohan all of the sudden knew exactly who that figure was. The last piece of his memories as Prince Endymion long ago have finally revealed itself. The saiyan dug his heels in harder than he ever had before, though this caused little Gohan to intensify his pull.

"No..I can't let my princess down," Gohan said through gritted teeth as he stood firm.

"Forget her...she's nothing," little Gohan said in his distorted, demonic voice.

The strength of the little Gohan was about to win out. Gohan was being pulled toward the dark version of himself despite his best efforts. Part of Gohan wanted to embrace this as he felt he gave all he could give.

Another voice rang out. Both Gohan's ears perked up a little as the sound struck both of them. The voice wound up giving the older Gohan a renewed sense of vigor as the attempt of the merger between the evil and good Gohan was not progressing any further.

"Are you going to let a little, evil magic control you!" the voice shouted clear as day at Gohan.

Gohan couldn't help but look out of the corner of his eye and see yet another figure in his head. The shadow took shape of a man of similar height to the teenager, but his hair stuck out in many more directions. The man in the orange gi, was very familiar to the teen indeed.

"Father.." Gohan uttered as he stood firm.

The figure that was in the shape of his father, Goku Son, smiled at Gohan. The saiyan then flew into Gohan, seemingly giving his strength to the boy. However, this didn't feel like his father's power at all. In fact, it felt like something even more familiar than his father's energy signature.

Gohan however didn't ponder this phenomenon at the moment as he gathered his willpower. With one mighty roar, the saiyan forced the evil little Gohan out of his sight. The demon child screamed like a wild animal as it disappeared into the nothingness. Gohan looked forward after taking a deep breath. The warrior saw that his Princess Serenity had finally revealed herself at last.

"It seems you haven't let her down," his father's voice rang out in the headspace.

"Father," Gohan said.

"You know well by now that I'm not Goku. For I am a part of you," the Goku-like figure said.

Gohan watched as the Goku-like figure disappeared. Gohan's tattered blue gi began to change as the figure dissipated from his sight. Looking down, he noticed that he was in a dark blue military like uniform. The half saiyan watched as his clothes changed, his cape flowing in the wind. Gohan closed his eyes.

On the battlefield, two figures shined onto the battlefield. One was Princess Serenity, holding a beautiful crystal in her hand. The other was Gohan wearing the uniform of his past self, getting a sudden rush of energy as he was in Super Saiyan 2 form again. The senshi that weren't Minako were aghast as they found their princess.

Beryl, on the other hand, was dumbfounded. The queen couldn't believe that Gohan wasn't under her control. The half-saiyan's will broke through her spell and the queen rose to the sky to distance herself from her opponent.

A flash of light came from Gohan's aura and for a couple of seconds, the image of his past self flashed into being. That little moment had gotten the attention of the princess and stopped Queen Beryl as if her master froze her in the air.

"Endymion," Beryl said in a rare moment of humanity for the demonic queen. She couldn't help but put the edge of her hand on her lips at the shock of seeing the prince's image from the saiyan.

"Endymion!" Serenity shouted, perking the ears of the changed Gohan.

Zoicite and Kunzite saw the image of the prince and it seemed a little bit of the light had come into their psyche. The two generals couldn't believe that their Prince was reborn into this powerful warrior.

"Master," both of them said before a headache took them both. After the moment, the two generals returned to their Dark Kingdom personalities just as quick.

Zoicite saw what he thought was an opportunity to make Beryl and Kunzite proud. The pony-tailed knight knew that he was quick enough to fly over there and take the newly discovered crystal from the hand of the distracted princess. Zoicite made his move and shot over to the princess, with hand outstretched to grab the Legendary Silver Crystal.

What Zoicite didn't count on was a fully powered Gohan appearing right in front of the princess at that exact moment and grabbing his hand. With one flick of the wrist, Prince Endymion broke the general's hand, sending him onto his knees and screaming in intense pain. The general didn't suffer long however as Gohan turned him into dust with one upwards front kick. Zoicite briefly split from testicles to head before the force of the blow evaporated him.A dull blue stone laid at Gohan's feet. The saiyan picked up the stone and held on to it for the time being. To him it was another general freed from Beryl's control.

The whole scene shocked Serenity a bit before smiling at her protector. She placed a hand on his shoulder as Gohan focused on the enemy. The prince did manage to look back out of the corner of his eye and smirk in response.

"I will never fail you again," Gohan simply said to his princess.

"Endymion…."the princess said with a bit of sorrow. She knew how her prince felt about his failure to protect her all those years ago despite all of his best efforts. Serenity raised her hand and the moon wand flew toward it rapidly. The crystal placed itself onto the Moon Rod. The princess took her hand off of her prince and glared daggers at Beryl.

The queen was at a loss for words. She didn't attempt a spell or any kind of attack. Though part of her was weighing her options, she felt numb toward the whole situation. All she could do was stare at Gohan in the uniform of Earth's Prince.

"Endymion! You were meant for me!" Beryl suddenly blurted out, causing the entire group on the battlefield to look up at her. Gohan decided not to speak just yet.

"My Prince! Join me and together we can rule this world! I can offer you more than Princess Serenity ever could! I've always wanted you to be my king!" Beryl proclaimed.

Serenity looked toward her beloved and placed her hand back onto his shoulder. Endymion knew that was all he needed. Looking up to make sure he was looking right at Beryl as he was about to make a declaration.

"Beryl...I will...NEVER BE YOURS!"

The queen's face contorted into rage. However, she was able to control herself and have the poise necessary considering her situation. Princess Serenity had the crystal and Beryl felt that she couldn't combat one with the legendary jewel at this moment. The Dark Kingdom had one of the saiyans in custody. She knew that she had a weapon that could help her win the war with the Sailor Senshi.

"So be it, next we meet, you will lose your precious Serenity. And you will beg for my favor!" Beryl proclaimed before her and Kunzite disappeared.

Gohan exhaled and collapsed onto the ground. Serenity knelt down to the ground and held his hand. The saiyan looked up to his princess with sleepy eyes and a sheepish smile. Endymion's uniform became the gi of Gohan Son again.

"Don't worry Serenity, I'll be back fighting fit in no time," Gohan said.

"Endymion..Gohan.." Serenity simply said as she kissed his hand and tears came down her face.

The senshi tiredly made their way to the couple and sat in a circle around them. Silence was the order of the moment as Gohan laid there and tried to keep himself awake. Then Gohan saw something in the sky. The figure descended onto the ground slowly and it was discovered that it was two namekians that Gohan knew very well. Piccolo and Dende landed close to the saiyan's feet.

"Damn it Gohan! That was reckless," Piccolo said rather loudly after he touch down.

The half saiyan felt something that was all too familiar to him. Shame struck the saiyan as if it were a speeding bullet. The fact that Vegeta was now in the hands of the Dark Kingdom hit home for Gohan.

Serenity felt the despair coming from Gohan and felt the need to make eye contact with him. Her blue eyes looking into the dark brown eyes of the troubled fighter as she smiled. Gohan couldn't help but smile back at the blonde princess. Her positivity had an infectious quality that troubled people couldn't help but feel at least a small amount of happiness.

"We will get Vegeta back, together," Princess Serenity said.

Piccolo didn't even get a chance to comment on the scene before Dende stepped in front of him. The small namekian teen stood beside Princess Serenity and looked at the young woman.

"Usagi, you mind if I heal Gohan?" Gohan simply asked.

"Usagi?….Oh that is the name of my current self. You must be..Dende," Serenity said as she went through the memories of Usagi.

"Why yes...wait you are Usagi right?" Dende asked.

"Yes, and no...My current self is called Usagi Tsukino. As of right now I am her previous self, some may say true self. I am Princess Serenity of the Moon. I don't know how long this part of me will last. Though hopefully we become the same person eventually," Serenity told the guardian.

Dende took a small bow to the princess and asked to heal Gohan once more. Serenity granted the request and extended his hands outward. A familiar golden glow washed over Gohan and healed his wounds from the battle. The saiyan felt fully energized as he rose from the ground and stood onto his feet. Serenity smiled as she grabbed onto Endymion's current self's arm. Gohan looked at the Princess and felt complete somehow. A missing piece from Gohan's spirit it seemed finally made it's way to him. Serenity let go of Gohan and smiled at Dende.

"Mr. Guardian, can you heal the Sailor Senshi? Please?" the Moon Princess asked kindly.

Dende nodded and went over to each senshi, healing them almost instantly. The four of them stood up and did little stretches to make sure they felt as good as they should be. The four girls made their way to the couple and stood in silence for a few minutes.

For Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter, their memories had returned the same time they had gazed upon Serenity. They remembered their duty to protect the princess, a vow that was taken since she was but a baby during the time of the Silver Millennium. For Sailor V however, this was just a reminder of her duty as well as other information.

Minako had a look of purpose as she sent her gaze toward Gohan. The saiyan felt the glare and rather than try to explain it away meekly, returned the serious look back at Sailor V. The senshi were bewildered as to why Minako and Gohan all of the sudden came into a stare down.

"We need to get to the lookout. We have much to discuss," Minako simply said.

The senshi, the princess, Gohan and Piccolo held hands while the senshi chanted "Sailor Teleport." The group left the battlefield and landed onto the lookout instantly. Mr. Popo walked up to the group.

"Welcome back Dende, and all of you," Popo said.

A prevailing silence came over the group. Popo felt the tension and took it as a cue to leave the crew alone for now. The group broke the circle, the senshi and the princess on one side and Gohan Piccolo and Dende on the other. Minako glared at Gohan again, to which the saiyan looked upon her with zero fear.

"Are all your memories back?" Minako asked Gohan.

"Hmm..yes they are, why?" Gohan said.

"Then answer this, how can you stand there with that look on your face...when you killed one of your own knights?!" Minako spat at the reincarnated prince.

The rest of the senshi were in shock, while the two Namekians had no clue what she was talking about. Piccolo took it upon himself to clear his throat so that he could get his attention.

"What does she mean Gohan?" Piccolo sternly questioned, a tone which he conveyed that he wanted an answer right this second. For Piccolo, it had better have been a good one, or else it would get ugly real quick.

"Piccolo, Dende, did you see a navy blue uniform on me before I went weak?" Gohan asked.

"No we didn't, we just saw you on the ground and the Princess holding your hand," Dende answered.

"What does a uniform have to do with anything?! Answer me Gohan! What is your connection to those Dark Kingdom's generals?" Piccolo said, his patience wearing more thin by the second.

"Piccolo, Dende...I guess all of the senshi and the Princess already know this...but I am going to tell you now. Along with being half-alien….I am the reincarnation of Prince Endymion. Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoicite, and Kunzite were my most loyal knights over 1000 years ago," Gohan said.

Piccolo and Dende were in shock. Piccolo especially because now another question was pressing against his brain. The revelation he had received helped the 7'6" Namekian come up with the words for this situation.

"How did your knights end up with the Dark Kingdom?" Piccolo asked.

"From what I can deduce, they were supposed to be reborn the same time as me. My guess is that Beryl found them sealed in their stones first and corrupted them with her dark magic," Gohan answered.

"And as for killing Zoicite...I did it to protect the crystal. I was on my second wind and did not want to waste precious energy. I had to act Minako. It may not be the answer you want, but it's the only answer I feel is the truth," Gohan answered.

"Gohan, you also should know that the memories of my fellow senshi have returned," Minako replied.

Mercury, Mars and Jupiter looked toward Gohan as they walked to join Minako. The princess followed silently behind them, not having any look to convey such emotion like the other senshi.

"Gohan...I shouldn't be angry with you….I know what you did was to save our princess. You must know this. At one time Zoicite was the love of my life. The memories that came flooding back, I wouldn't trade them for the world. A part of me I guess will always love him," Mercury said before tears started coming down her face. Jupiter went to Mercury and embraced her as she sobbed.

A blue light, followed by a green light came from inside Gohan's gi. The saiyan reached inside one of the lapels and pulled out two stones. The two lights shined brightly as they levitated off of Gohan's hand. The stones then changed into two human forms, the forms of Nephrite and Zoicite. The senshi were aghast, but none more so than both Mercury and Jupiter. Zoicite smiled toward the bluenette while Nephrite smiled at his fellow brunette.

"Do not despair Jupiter, for I will always be with you. You must do your duty and protect the Princess," Nephrite said. Sailor Jupiter took a moment to let the words sink in before nodding toward him.

"Mercury, we paid the price for falling for the Dark Powers. Gohan has freed us from our bondage," Zoicite said.

"I know Zoicite, but..." Mercury said before failing to produce the rest of her statement.

"It's ok. Remember the times we had together. Your senshi and our prince need you. Please Sailor Mercury, dry your tears for I am fine," Zoicite said to the girl. Mercury meekly nodded to her lover from 1000 years ago.

The twosome turned back into the stones and flew into Gohan's outstretched hand. The saiyan placed those two rocks back into his lapel. Mercury took a deep breath and nodded that she was ok before joining the group once again.

"Where's Jadeite?" Mars asked out of the blue.

The group all turned their attention to the raven haired senshi as she asked her question to Gohan. The saiyan looked over and went back into his more recent memories. The battle that happened after the demon bus crossed his mind. A moment crossed the mind of Gohan, to which the saiyan had a realization.

"Where is Jadeite?" Mars asked again, this time a little more loudly.

"The enemy has his stone still. It was inside a coffin that the Dark Kingdom took with them when they left the tunnel," Gohan explained.

"So that's another thing we will have to take back from the enemy," Minako interjected.

"Yes….along with Vegeta. I'll have to explain this to Bulma," Gohan said with a heavy heart.

Serenity noticed this and went up to her saiyan paramour. The girl placed her hand onto Gohan before leaning into him. Gohan returned the hug to his princess and smiled.

"Gohan, we will get him back," Serenity simply said before turning back into Usagi and fainting into his arms.

The saiyan placed her down gently. Dende then went over and healed her like he did with all of the others. Usagi got up as her energy was full and looked at Gohan.

"Gochan!" said Sailor Moon as she gave the hug back to him.

"You ok Usako," Gohan asked.

Usagi nodded and just held onto Gohan for a bit. The two broke their embrace and the saiyan took this moment to look at Minako. A serious expression was on his face as he felt she had to explain something.

"Minako, who are you?" Gohan asked.

"Well if you must know, I'm Sailor Venus. The Pretty Guardian of Love and Beauty! I am the leader of the Sailor Senshi and the captain of the princess's guard. I am sorry my prince and princess for the deception. I thought I could throw the trail of the enemy away from Sailor Moon if I lied. Now that we all have our memories back, we will have to strike the Dark Kingdom as soon as possible," Minako said to Gohan and Usagi.

"Yes I agree, but you all should not do it tonight," Piccolo said.

"But Piccolo, what about Vegeta.."Gohan asked in a panic.

"Gohan, you of all people should know that it's a trap. The enemy wants us to go in half-cocked so that they have the advantage. It's better if you rest for some time. If I know Vegeta, he will come straight for you Gohan. I suggested you be prepared," Piccolo replied.

"Well….you do make sense Piccolo. The enemy will want the crystal. Who knows we may be able to beat them," Gohan said.

Just then a noise came from Usagi's wrist. The girl looked at the communicator and saw a picture of Luna. The cat looked a little worried from what Usagi saw.

"Are all of you alright?" Luna asked.

"Yes, yes we are," Usagi said.

"Good, because tomorrow we will have a lot to discuss," Luna said.

The group agreed to rest for the night, for much has happened and there was much to process. Senshi and Gohan left the lookout with the Sailor Teleport, now more informed than ever.

Inside the D point castle…

Beryl was walking along the dark castle. The queen had much to process, among other things the fact that a major thorn in her side ended up being the reincarnation of what she thought should be her Prince. In her mind however, she did capture an interesting prize.

Laying on a stone slab, still unconscious was the Prince of Saiyans. Catching him and Gohan unawares was great strategy according to the queen, and it had almost worked to perfection. Beryl looked at the warrior and couldn't help but sense something inside him.

"Hmm, I see this one still has darkness in his heart. Though it seems diminished over time, I believe Metalia and I can persuade him to our cause. If I hadn't let my own stupidity get ahead of me, I might have two powerful servants. One to be my paladin, and Gohan to be my love. This one however might be useful in acquiring my Endymion."

Beryl raised her staff and grey stone covered in a black aura was planted into Vegeta's head. The queen saw the saiyan struggle much like Gohan did. However, the Prince calmed down after only a few seconds. The prince sat up and opened his eyes. A pinkish-purple glow was the color of his irises as he looked towards Beryl.

"I see things clearly now...I'm back to my old ways," Vegeta smirked.

It seems the magic of Beryl and Metallia reminded Vegeta on what he used to be. A killer who relied only on his own strength. The prince clinched his fist and looked toward Queen Beryl.

"When do we attack the son of Kakarot?" Vegeta asked.

"Patience my servant, for you still need to recover your strength. I want you in perfect condition for when we take on those insolent fools in Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask," Beryl commanded.

Vegeta closed his eyes and began his slumber. Dark Energy healed Vegeta rather slowly compared to a senzu bean, but it was working to restore him. Beryl smiled as she felt that she had that little bit of success it takes to eventually win her the war against the Senshi.

Beryl left her newest soldier to rest. A four point star developed onto the forehead of the Saiyan Prince as he slumbered. Time will tell if this new power he holds will be the key to the heroes downfall.

A/N: Yep, I know that Vegeta was an easy choice. Though at least you got the reveal of who Endymion and Serenity are though I believe a blind man could see where I was going with it. Please Read, Review, Favorite and Follow.
