(Alex's Pov)
We looked to see the temple doors open and I see Andrias as he looked to us and I stepped in front of Marcy. I kept my hand on my sword as he comes up to us and I glare at him as he has the helmet.
"There is no point in trying to fight it." He says and I feel Marcy put her hand on my shoulder.
"You know you can stop this… destroy that damn thing and it's all done and over with, no more fighting." I tell him.
"You have no idea." He says as he quickly grabbed me and threw me to the side. As I got up, I see Anne punch Andrias so I quickly get up and grabbed him by his tail and pulled him back.
"GET MARCY OUT!" I yell and Anne nods as they hurry out the temple doors onto the ship. I was able to use my powers and toss Andrias to the other side of the temple and I quickly grabbed my dropped sword as I glare at him.
"You have no idea what you are doing." He says as I feel the ground rumble below me. I look around as the temple begins to fill up with water and I turn to see the entrance of the temple going down.
"ALEX HURRY!" Anne and Marcy both yelled. I hurry over to the front of the temple before I feel something grab my waist and I am quickly thrown to the side of the temple and my back hit the wall. I groaned in pain as I look to see Andrias looking sown at me with a smile on his face.
"Well, if we can't use Marcy." He says and quickly grabbed me before I could move out of his way. He smiled at me as he had the helmet in his other hand and I tried to get out of his grip but I can't even use my power as I feel the helmet on my head. It hurt like hell there was a burning sensation going through my body and I know I screamed in pain.
"ALEX!" I hear before I fall unconscious. As I opened my eyes, I quickly took a gasp of air and looked around. It was mostly white and blinding as I look around the area quickly.
"Where-."
"Are you?" I hear and turn quickly to see a blue colored newt looking at me. He was huge, almost as big if not bigger than Andrias, he looks pretty old too.
"Who are you?" I asked as I glare at him and he laughed a bit at this and leans down a bit to look at me.
"I am King Aldrich… I am truly sorry for how my son has been acting, he truly doesn't know how to handle things in a proper way, even though he's over a thousand years old." He says and I back up a bit.
"You hurt Marcy." I mutter.
"Oh, dear heavens no, where you are right now is just how you see things, Marcy was able to make whatever she wanted, you could do the same too." They say to me.
"It hurt." I mutter.
"Yes, sadly it does hurt in order to give you this type of simulation, there is no point in lying to you about that, you seem to have gained some more information since your friend Anne abandoned you." He says and I look to him.
"She didn't."
"I'm sorry but wasn't she gone for ten years?" He asked and I look to the side and then back to him.
"She didn't seem to try and come back to help you and Marcy; you had only tried to help Marcy." He says.
"She… Anne-."
"Left you… think about it for a little bit, you're very smart Alex." He says and I look down.
"She had made a life without you and Marcy; she left you and Marcy for ten years… made new friends I suppose." He says and I shake my head and look to him.
"She could have lied to you." He says.
"She wouldn't." I mutter.
"How do you know… I see in your memories-."
"DON'T LOOK IN MY HEAD!" I yelled at him and he looked to me a bit shocked but he smiled and I back up a bit.
"Sorry but the way that my ancestors created this advanced technology it will automatically read your memories when hooked up." He tells me and I glare at him but then look to the side.
"Your parents didn't do much to help you." He says and I keep looking to the side.
"It's ok to talk to me." He says and I shake my head.
"Hmm… how can we make this easier for you." I hear him mutter and I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn to see my dad and I back up quickly and glare at him.
"Alex." He says and I shake my head and grabbed my sword but it was gone and I look back to my dad.
"Don't you want a good relationship with your parents?" Aldrich says and I look to him then back to my dad who was standing next to my mom. They looked happy, but as much as I would have loved this type of life it just wasn't right.
"They… I don't care about them." I mutter.
"I see… well how about this." He says and I see Grime and I look away.
"Hmm, strange." I hear.
"Shut up." I mutter.
"You seem to think he doesn't respect you because of what my son had just done?" He asked.
"SHUT UP!" I yelled and I felt my hands heat up and I tried to calm down.
"Your powers don't work here; they are working in the outside world but not here." He tells me and I look to him a bit confused and he laughed a little.
"Ah right, Marcy didn't use her powers with the helmet attached to her… see when you get angry your hands heat up, that's your powers but they don't work here only out there… your body just used the power, try using your power and look at your hand." He says and I think a bit and decided to try it so I feel my right hand heat up but I don't see my power at all.
"Right now, your power is being used but you can't see it." He says and I look down as I feel my hand go cold.
"I-."
"Don't understand?" He asked.
"Come on let's walk." He says and the scenery changes and it's Newtopia before everything had happened. We walked around the city a bit. what was I supposed to say.
"You are probably wondering why Andrias put the helmet on you." Aldrich says and I look to him.
"Because Anne was able to get Marcy out." I mutter.
"Hmm, probably true, but you are smart too… you were able to read ancient Amphibian writing, I know those other newts said you wrote it right but they made some mistakes with it here and there… you have written many things down with vast amounts of information about the temples." He says and I look to him.
"We are looking through your journal right now." He says and I glared at him.
"Seems like you were supposed to defeat us a long time ago but because of Anne, it didn't happen." He says with a bit of a laugh.
"Because of Anne you were injured." He says.
"You-."
"Yes, we did cause you the pain but because Anne wasn't here to end this earlier you received injuries that should have never happened. Think about that." He says and I keep quiet.
"You lost vision in your eye because you didn't speak up either… though that was someone in here's fault, to many people to know who exactly did that." He tells me and I still stay silent. This was a constant thing, they would keep blaming Anne for what happened to me but I knew it wasn't Anne's fault, none of this was Anne's fault.
"Why do you think it's not her fault?" I hear as I was seated over on a hill and I pull my legs to my chest and I keep silent.
"We need to understand-."
"No, you don't… you just want to use my emotions against me, and try to hurt Anne or even Marcy with what I tell you." I mutter.
"Hmm." I hear and I look to the ground a bit.
"It would help to talk." I hear and I just keep quiet.
"Marcy was very talkative." He says.
"She… I don't know why she was talkative." I mutter.
"Hmm, you made Anne steal the music box." He says and I nod at this.
"So, you are at fault for all of this happening." He says and I nod again at this.
"But Anne could have told you no… and she didn't." He says and I place my hands to my ears. I didn't want to talk with him anymore, I didn't want to hear him anymore.
"Need to reboot this damn thing." I hear and I opened my eyes to see I was in a greenish room and I sit up a bit and looked around but my hands were chained up and I look around.
"No use in struggling those chains will electrocute you." I hear and looked down to the ground.
"Been a damn month already." I hear him mutter and I look at him.
"What?" I asked. And he turned to look at me.
"Been under that helmet for a month." He mutters and I look down to the ground as he set the helmet onto a platform.
"You're a very destructive person." He says and I look at him.
"You burned down Wartwood." He laughed and I glare at him.
"How could you laugh at that?" I asked getting pissed.
"Why should I care?" He says and I look to him.
"My father chose Marcy because she beat me at flipwart even though I hadn't lost in years, but I lose once and they chose her… now they chose you, and you aren't even a genius like Marcy, it's pathetic." He says.
"You're mad because your dad and a bunch of dead guys didn't want you in this hivemind?" I laughed and he glared at me and I feel the chains electrocute me and I grit my teeth.
"FUCK!" I yelled and the shock stopped.
"You have no idea what it's like to be shamed by your father." He says and I laughed at this.
"Dude, my mom hates me, and my dad isn't much of a care for his kid kind of man either." I tell him and he looked to me.
"I'm literally a mistake to them… it's not the same, I bet your dad really wanted a kid to take his place, but my parents… wouldn't stop arguing at home… got to the point where I didn't want to go home." I tell him.
"I hate them, and they hate me, that's the only thing we go in common at this point… according to Anne my mom was a bitch while I was missing… she didn't care." I mutter and looked to the side.
"My father hated the fact that my old friend stole that music box." He says.
"I'm guessing because the box is very important." I say in a mocking tone.
"We do important work-."
"Taking over other worlds for your ego isn't important work, you had a good thing going before you got the music box." I mutter as I look to him.
"My father was a smart man-."
"Smart enough to die and have his memories or whatever put into a helmet and take over a thirteen-year-old girl, who was stabbed in the back by someone she once thought of as a friend, and that same person betrayed her just for a stupid box and to get your dead dads' approval?" I asked and he glared at me.
"Marcy told me you were very manipulative." He says.
"Same with you." I say and I feel another shock and I grit my teeth again and when the shock finished at took some breaths and glared at him.
"Fucking prick." I breathed and glare at him.
"I'd suggest you keep your mouth shut at this point." He says and I keep silent and I fiddled with the chains a bit.
"How many were hurt… in Wartwood?" I asked quietly and then scratched my beard a bit as I looked to the wall and not at him.
"Seventeen dead, about thirty injured I think." He says and I look down.
"Not as much as I'd like." He says.
"They thought you were an ok king… frogs wanted to attend the university, heck a few toads wanted to go to Newtopia… granted all three groups just hated each other and you didn't try to fix it… but they thought you were ok." I mutter.
"They haven't lived as long as I have, they never saw how bad things could be over time because they didn't live long enough." He says.
"But you should know by now that your father didn't care about you for so long, he's made you, his puppet." I tell him.
"He-."
"Trust me, he's manipulating you, you know this but you just want his approval so bad that you're willing to hurt people just to get it, even you said so yourself, the core chose a thirteen-year-old and not you, then they want me?" I laughed at the last statement and looked to him.
"He doesn't care about you but yet here you are keeping him and the others alive and well, just for that tiny morsal of approval that he doesn't even want to give you, because he doesn't care." I tell him.
"He… cares in his own way." He tells me.
"Yea and my mom says it's ok for me to be myself, I know what it's like to not have a supportive parents, I know how it is… you aren't even listening." I mutter.
"I am, but you need to understand that how things are run here, is vastly different than what is in your world, you could have just agreed with your mom, it's your own fault that she hates you." He says and I look to the wall a bit and I nod a bit.
"Yea… maybe I should have listened to her when she told me I should have hung myself, how she should have never had me acting as if it's my fault she spread her legs open… funny." I mutter and laughed softly.
"So, yea… it's my fault… I should have been the perfect pretty daughter who wears small uncomfortable outfits and feel like shit every day because I wasn't right in the head… her words by the way." I say and look to the chains again. I hear a ding and looked to see Andrias grab the helmet and he looked to me but I don't move. There is no point I was going to get a massive shock again if I tried and I just felt like shit at this point. The helmet was put on and I feel a shock but I didn't scream as I clenched my teeth and fists. I hear some laughter behind me and I was standing looking at a drawing on the wall.
"Trying to convince my son that I'm the bad guy?" I hear and I shrugged.
"Seems like you're pretty good at keeping him in line… though over a thousand years of repetition a few words aren't going to change someone's mind at that point." I say truthfully.
"Hmm, I have to say you are right… but just think about it, you could live forever if you join us." He tells me.
"What would that have to do with anything?" I asked.
"Well, you could try and fix some things, you can be who you want to be, we don't judge here.' He says.
"We saw the memory in your temple, once you leave, you can't be Alex anymore, you can only be Sasha." He tells me and I held my arm a bit and I look down to the ground.
"Wouldn't you want to be known as Alex?" He says and I close my eyes.
"Wouldn't you be happier?" He asked and I felt tears in my eyes.
"Don't you want to be Alex? Or would you want to go back to a world that doesn't care about you? Where you aren't wanted by your parents, where you can't even work because you lack education… here you can still work in something you are good at." He tells me and I shake my head.
"Do you think you should suffer?" He asked.
"No but-."
"But nothing… if you work with us, you can have a long life, you'd be respected by the people, many people in other worlds too… you can have adventures with Anne and Marcy, don't you think you deserve to be happy?" He asked.
"Anne has a job and a life; Marcy would have had one too." I mutter.
"But what about you?" I hear him ask and I feel a hand placed on my shoulder. Though it wasn't his whole hand it was weird.
"We will give you time." He says.
"Could you stop attacking the people?" I asked.
"Pardon?" He asked and I look up at him.
"I… will agree to this deal if we don't harm anyone, even if we are able to travel to other worlds, we don't hurt anyone." I tell him.
"Unless they try to hurt us?" He asked.
"Try and handle it diplomacy style first." I tell him.
"Hmmm, sure." He agreed.
"I want to tell Anne and them about this… and get them both home." I tell him and I hear him hum a bit.
"Andrias as well? And he shall be near you." He says and I nod a bit and I turn to face him fully and hold my hand out to him.
"We have a deal?" I asked and he looked to my hand and nods as he shakes my hand.
"We have a deal." He says and I nod and I feel the helmet being taken off me and I looked around.
"What did you do?" Andrias asked and I look to him as I get up from the chair.
"I made a deal, a simple one." I tell him and he looked to his crown a bit and he looked back to me.
"Fine… we shall head to FrogValley." He says and I see the castle move a bit into the direction of FrogValley. I felt bad for making this deal but it's the only one I have right now. At least Anne and Marcy could go home. They won't have to worry about me, and I won't be a bother to them. Anne will be ok at least. I looked to the helmet a bit and notice that it was changed a bit here and there it didn't look much like the axolotl look that it was on Marcy, but still was the axolotl like helmet that contained the hivemind. I didn't say anything to Andrias as we traveled a bit and then when we finally got to FrogValley I was given a change of clothes. Fully red armor along with a black cape to go with it. I was told I had to wear it by Andrias since this was going to be a peace offering and I had to look good. Even if I hated it, I wore the armor and cape and as the castle descended down to the ground. I follow Andrias and he placed a cuff to my wrist and I look to him.
"Though you had an agreement, you still need to know your place." He says and I see that it was basically a shock bracelet. I was being treated like a damn dog at this point but I kept quiet on it so to keep the peace. He hands me the music box and I take a breath and the doors open up and we walked out and I look around to see the destruction of the lands and I looked down to the music box a bit. We walked up to one area and we see many of the frogs, toads and newts holding weapons and I see Anne and Marcy as they look to me. I look up to Andrias who nods to me and I go over to them but I stopped halfway and they looked to me. I swallowed a bit and Anne looked to me confused and she whispered to Marcy. I don't know what was spoken but they tell the amphibians to lower their weapons and they both walk up to me and I look at them.
"What's going on?" Marcy asked carefully and I clear my throat.
"We can go home." I tell them as I show them the box.
"How did you?" Marcy asked.
"Busted the helmet… got Andrias to help me." I tell them and looked to Andrias.
"Why doesn't he come over?" Anne asked.
"He's afraid… he feels bad for everything that happened… but look we can go home." I say as I put in the right coordinates for the box and a portal opened.
"Wait we can't go now-." Marcy says.
"Why not?" I asked.
"This… isn't right, this doesn't feel right at all, how was it so easy?" Anne asked and I look to them and I set the box down and grabbed her hand.
"You don't trust me?" I asked. Yes, I was trying to manipulate her and Marcy again. I just had to do this though, it wasn't for ill intentions it was for something good… right?
"No, I just… I feel like something bad is going to happen." She says and I smiled at her a bit and cupped Anne's cace with my free hand.
"I promise, nothing bad is going to happen… I'll keep you and Mar-Mar safe… nothing bad is going to happen ok." I tell her and she nods as she placed her hand on top of mine. It felt nice. She moved her hand away and I pull both my hands away from them and smiled to them. Hoping they wouldn't hate me but I wasn't lying, I'd do anything to keep them both safe. I'm doing something good… right?
"Good." I say and quickly moved and shoved both her and Marcy through the portal. I could see them get up on the other side and I see Anne's eyes turned blue and Marcy's turned green. I pick up the music box quickly and click both their gems and I see the color leave their eyes quickly before the portal closes.
"ALEX STO-!" I hear Anne and Marcy yell and I look to the Amphibians gasp. I look to see the planters glaring at me and I look down to the ground and I feel a shock go through my body as I dropped the box and I held my wrist tightly. It hurt so God damn bad but I couldn't scream, I didn't want to show weakness in any way.
"Hahah, so easy." I hear Andrias laugh and I glared at him. I feel another shock and a yell from Grime.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" I hear and looked to the side as the shock stopped and I look to Grime. As he glared at Andrias and then he looked to me, he looked worried as I take a few deep breaths and I glare at Andrias as he laughed again.
"Oh, Alex made a deal with the core… want to tell them how you worked with the enemy?" Andrias mocked and I looked to the ground then to Grime and the others.
"I'm so sorry Grimes." I say and feel another shock through my body. It hurt so much, I felt tired and sick to my stomach I then fell unconscious for who knows how long but it must have been a while. I wake up slowly in one of the many castle rooms and I look to the side to see no one. I sit up slowly and I feel the brace on my wrist and I look down to see the brace and put my other hand on top of it.
"Glad to see you're awake, the Core seems ok with you having a break here and there." Andrias says and I look to him then down to the blanket on top of me.
"You made good on your deal." He says.
"Last thing Anne and Marcy probably think of me is how much of an idiot and asshole I am." I mutter as I get up and look to him.
"You made the deal on your own." He says.
"Yep." I mutter as I exit out the room. I didn't feel good for what I have done, and I will never feel good about what happened. I will try my best to stop the core, but I doubt I'll even be able to go home after what I did. I wouldn't want to go home even if I wanted to. I saw that we were no where near FrogValley anymore, we looked to be in the desert area of Amphibia.
"The Core wants you to help us find any new continents while we are here." Andrias says and I look to the side a bit.
"You have other followers; you don't need me to help." I mutter. I then feel another shock and I grip my wrist which was a bad idea and I fell to my knees in pain. The shock stops and I pant as I glare up at Anrdias and he looked to me.
"You are lucky." He says.
"Being possessed by a fucking hivemind is nothing of luck you over grown- AHHH FUCK!" I yell as I am shocked again, I could smell some burning skin and I felt sick as the shock stopped and I wanted to throw up. I heaved a bit and coughed as I look up to him.
"You are working with the greatest minds in Amphibia even though you are not part of that group, you should consider yourself lucky at this point, you have the approval of my father-."
"I don't want his approval I don't want any of these fuckers' approval, you can have it I don't fucking care." I tell him as I get up. I feel a bit dizzy as I take a seat to make sure I didn't throw up at this point. Andrias leaves me alone and I take the time to think before I see the helmet in his hands as he comes back. I looked up to him and stay where I am as he put the helmet back onto my head again.
"I see that you like arguing with my son." The giant lizard said and I look at him and then to the open field.
"Hmm, why think of a place like this?" He asked and I shrugged.
"It's the only nice thing I can think of." I tell him. Might as well make conversation with this stupid dead guy I have nothing better to do.
"Guess Anne doesn't make you happy." He laughed and I glare at him.
"Sorry, overstepped." He says and I look back to the field.
"Your son is jealous of Marcy and I." I tell him.
"It's his own fault, he should have kept a closer eye on the box instead of letting his so-called friend steal it… had she not then none of this would have happened, he was the cause for all of this, for you and Marcy being possessed as you call it, for your pain and suffering, he's the reason for it." He tells me and I grip my hands into fists.
"But if you guys listened to him… or talked o whatever you could have changed the outcome too… you wanted to take over worlds." I mutter.
"It's what we have done for thousands of years, and that box has been with us since the beginning… but the actions of my son and his friends caused you to be trapped here, caused him to stab Marcy, caused Marcy to stab you." He tells me.
"She wanted to do that on her own, she was upset with you, because she thought you weren't trying to help her in the past ten years." I hear him says and I pull my legs to my chest and held them close.
"I deserved it." I say.
"Are you sure about that?" He asked and I nod.
"I was a bad person… I tried to help but I just couldn't get to her fast enough." I say quietly and it stayed that way for I don't know how long. I didn't do much when I had the helmet on or off, I just stayed quiet and did what I had to do to make the Core and Andrias happy. We found a new landmass and I was able to go onto the land without the helmet but Andrias stayed near me with his remote. We would walk around a bit and I wanted to write all this down, I wanted to show this to Marcy one day but at this point I don't think I'll ever see her or Anne again. I wouldn't blame them if they hated me, they deserve to hate me.
"You are a quiet one." I hear but don't respond as I look at one plant for a bit.
"Hmm, useless human." He says
"Stupid Lizard." I mutter as I head away from him but again, he follows me and I see some other fruit and I just look at it for a bit.
"If I am so stupid how come I have you doing what I want." He says.
"Because you have to shock me or put that helmet on my head in order to control me… if not you'd be in a world of hell." I mutter and I had decided to go to bed for the night as we go back to the castle as night was coming upon us. I was glad I didn't have to sleep with that helmet on but the bracelet on the other hand was becoming a bother. I sit up in the bed and I moved the bracelet a bit to see the burn mark and raw skin being shown from the constant shock and rubbing of the bracelet on my skin. I look around the room and stand up from the bed and look back out the window to see the island at night, I look to the moon a bit and I shake my head. Then I hear a knock on my door and I go over to open it and see a newt servant,
"King Andrias requests for you to come to dinner." They say and I nod as I head over to the dining area and I glared at Andrias as I take a seat in one of the chairs.
"Nice of you to join us." He says as he put the helmet on the table and I look to him.
"Trying to make a joke because that isn't funny." I stated and he frowns a bit and cleared his throat.
"Anyway, we will be heading to your world tomorrow." He says and I look to him.
"You thought your world would be excluded? You never said that other than we had to handle anything diplomacy style." He says and I look to the ground a bit and clenched my hands into fists under the table.
"You get to see your family again." He says and I laughed at this. It was honest to God funny that he was oblivious to everything.
"And what did I say was so funny?" He asked and I look to him.
"My family doesn't care for me." I say and lean my head onto my hand.
"I think I told you but you don't listen." I mutter and I get up.
"Remember this, you have no choice or we destroy your world." He says and I wave it off. I knew, I fucking knew what would happen if I went back on the agreement. I lay on my bed in my room and I just felt like shit with everything that was going on. I felt sick and I sit up in the bed as I held my stomach and looked to the window. I couldn't escape, no one came to visit me, not even Grime… I was a terrible person. I grabbed one of my journals and wrote in the book stopping here and there to figure out the right words to say. I would have to say that I wrote for hours before I hear a knock at the door and I look to the window to see that the sun was coming up. I closed my journal and stand up slowly as I place the book in my pouch and opened the door and look to see the newt servant and I nod as we walked over to Andrias who looked to me.
"Seems like you have no fight left in you… such a shame." He says and I looked to the ground and then grabbed the helmet myself and placed it on my head. It was dark for a while, nothing in my view until I see Andrias's father as he looked to me.
"Are you broken?" He asked and I just looked down and placed my hands behind my back.
"No, not broken, just realizing that I'll always be alone, a manipulator… the worst person on this planet." I say and looked around the room as it shifted to a small study like I had back at Toad Tower.
"Hm… interesting place to vision." He says and I nod a bit and take a seat and looked to him.
"Care to see your home world again?" He says and I think a bit and I nod as my vision switch to show me the real world. I think it isn't real until I see Andrias as he was looking at me talking, but I couldn't hear what he said I looked around a bit but my body didn't move.
"We control your body, but since you have been so willing to cooperate with us, we will be allowing you to go and talk to Wit and Heart." They tell me.
"But you have to be with me hu?" I asked.
"Unfortunately, yes, don't want you to betray us now do we?" They laughed and I felt like shaking my head but I couldn't. then something comes out of my mouth, it's not my voice but is? It's like a mix of multiple voices working all at once to speak to Andrias.
"We shall be going with Alex here to go see his friends, you can try and talk to the people of these lands, though I highly doubt it would work." They say to him and he looks over to me a bit.
"As you wish Master." He says and I feel my body get up and I try to move it which to my surprise it does.
"Well, this is happening." I say and cover my mouth and look to see the old and new king looking at me and I shake my head a bit. as the castle comes to my world I can hear the people scream as something from out of this world invades ours. Honestly had I not known of Amphibia I would feel the same way. Scared, not knowing what to do, how to stop it all from happening. There is some cannons that blast to the castle and I look around as I see Andrias about to shoot one of his cannons back.
"NO DON'T!" I yelled and he glared at me.
"And why not?" He asked.
"They don't know what's going on, they just need to see this as… not an invasion." I say and he glared to me.
"And how do we do that?" He asked.
"Let me talk to them?" I asked and he laughed.
"You can't be-."
"Let him talk to the people, he is from this world." I hear come out of my mouth and I cover it and I feel a shock in my head and so I grabbed it so it would stop.
"If that will get them to stop from attacking, I suppose." He says and I nod quickly as the shock stopped and I look to him.
"Take the helmet off of him so they aren't frightened." The core speaks though me and Andrias looks to me and nods as he takes the helmet off and I place my hand to the side of my head to feel a burn mark and I shake my head a bit and looked to Andrias as he pulled something up and I turn quickly to see a screen of the whole Army looking at me along with some Civilians. I take a breath and turn my body to face the screen and place my hands behind my back. I looked around for anyone familiar but no one was there. Then there was someone with a megaphone and I look to Andrias who nods at this.
"Who are you and what do you want?" The man asked. I suppose he was a high-ranking officer in the military.
"Uh… I'm Alex Waybright, and um… the king… and kings of Amphibia are here to try and make a deal with this world." I say but I was so unsure of what to actually say. This is all fucked, I fucked everything up so badly.
"We don't make deals with Enemies." The man says and I looked to Andrias as he looked back to me and I look back to the screen a bit.
"Look I'm just… trying to make things peaceful for everyone-."
"FIRE!" The man yells and a few tanks blast at us and the ship tips a bit from the blast and I fall backwards hitting the wall. I groaned a bit as I tried to get up but another blast knocks us back and I see Andrias go over to the music box to keep it in place. I quickly get up and run to the screen but there was yet another blast hitting the castle.
"See they don't care that you are trying to make peace, they're going to kill you too even though you were born in this world." I hear and look around to see the helmet as it glowed and I look to Andrias as he looked to me angry. I get up once more and looked to the screen panicked.
"STOP THIS!" I yelled and then one of our cannons went off blasting at the tanks destroying a few and I look to Andrias.
"STOP THIS NOW THERE IS NO NEED-!"
"They do not care for you; they do not care for peace they want war just like every other world does." Andrias says and I feel a burning in my fists as I watched and felt the tanks fire more between the two. I gripped my head at this and fell to my knees as I tried to think of something. Anything to do to stop all of this but no one will listen to me.
"Put this back on." Andrias says as he grabbed me and the helmet, I tried to get out of his grip but he squeezed my body, maybe breaking a rib or two in the process but I moved my head to keep him from putting that damn thing back on. I tried to use my powers but it hurt. It hurt so much everything hurt and I feel the helmet being forced onto my head making me scream as it shocked me once more. god damn why was it so painful every time, is this what Marcy went through all those years, is this my punishment for the rest of my life. I looked around as I could see everything that was happening. The tanks kept blasting at us and I was getting angry.
"AHHHHH!" I yelled as I tried to take the helmet off to try and get everyone to stop but I was shocked once more and I fall to my knees.
"STOP THIS, STOP ALL OF THIS, NONE OF THIS IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!" I yelled and felt more shocks as I tried to rip the damn thing off of me.
"There is no point in trying to stop it, you tried but they failed to listen to their own, they do not care." I hear and looked around feverishly and I see Andrias as he looked to me.
"Your friends haven't even tried to save you… they have their powers but haven't even come… they truly didn't care for you, and they shouldn't." Andrias says and I glared at him and felt my head heat up from more shocks and I lay back onto the ground gripping the helmet once more. He knows nothing, Anne and Mary will come, they won't let the town get destroyed, they're better people than I am.
"Again, why would they help someone like you? Someone who has betrayed them time and time again, given the chance they will end up killing you in order to save this world… and they wouldn't think twice… though I don't think I could blame them, after all that Marcy had told me, you do deserve all of this." I hear Andrias say before I finally give up and just lay on the ground. I look to the ceiling and think about what he had said. It's true, it's all true… and it's ok. It's all going to be ok… it's no big deal… right?
