CHAPTER START~!
Naruto was sitting in his family living room as he poured tea for both his fiancée and now apparent her twin sister Amelia, "…" he silently continued to pour the hot refreshment into the cup before stopping just when it was near the rim. He then placed the tea pot to the side and gently handed the saucer the tea cup was on to Amelia.
"See Amelia? He can pour well for my tea, no need to glare as if he is a dullard, unable to do such a simple task." The golden haired princess giggled behind her fan, "And tell me why you are here and I clearly stated that I was coming home soon." She was reminded as she partook of her future husband's brew tea.
Naruto looked, as the young girl looked simply pleased with her drink, not even considering adding more sugar or milk to it, "Very rare I don't have to add anything into it."
"I'm glad you enjoy the tea as is." Naruto chuckled in satisfaction. "Glad I can make a decent cup now.' He added internally in his thoughts. Perhaps he could use this to experiment with different kinds of tea to serve Amelia and see which one she prefers.
"I don't like it." Amelia seethed at the young blonde boy who comically sweat dropped at her anger. He took a moment to think on how he caused her anger to be focused on him…
'What did I do?' Naruto thought as he remembered the game version for boys. 'Okay, if I recall… Gabrielle was the older twin and Amelia was the younger like the boys were in Fortune Lover. They had a strong bond despite the similar backgrounds to their counterparts…oh right!' Naruto remembered the key part to their unique situation, many of the suitors after her sister only wanted power and status from any age.
'Right, I remember now.' Naruto hummed in realization. 'Okay, this can be easily fixed.'
"...I'm not marrying her." The blonde said with a smile…before realizing what he just said. "...Crap."
Gabrielle merely giggled as she no doubt knew that Naruto was trying to make her sister less hostile towards him only to fail badly.
*CRACK!*
Oh dear… Amelia broke the tea cup handle.
"Now, now it doesn't mean she doesn't like it, she means… well I guess what does that mean my dear fiance?" The blonde princess coyly asked her betrothed who comically glared/pouted at her cruel meaning.
"You would have me answer?" He said as Amelia pulled him to her face.
"SO SHE'S NOT GOOD FOR YOU!?" She shouted only for Naruto to comically shake his head…before being shook harder than his life(s) experience, "SO YOU ARE AFTER HER!?"
"I-I never said that! Honest!"
"THEN WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!" She cried out as Gabrielle placed a hand on her twin.
"Now…I suggest you settle down dear sister…" The blonde princess requested as both the silver haired girl and the blonde stared at each other and Amelia pulled her hands off the boy.
"I'm just keeping you safe sister." The wild looking girl of the two simply looked down as she sighed, "You don't hear what guys say about your after parties. Who's to say he isn't after you? I mean…what's remotely charming about him?"
"Ouch I'm right here…" Naruto deadpanned at the rude words of his fiancée's sister.
"He makes lovely time and that is more than enough for me." The golden princess explained as she opened her fan and covered her smile. "Now…my fiancée, would you let me take your portrait?"
"Um…" Naruto got nothing but his slack jaw mouth moaning out a sound more than words at this moment..
Amelia fumed comically at the idea of her sister letting her time being wasted on the brute, "You really want to paint him?"
"And why not?" Gabrielle retorted at her twin sister. "Do you not want to look at his rather ravish physique?"
"Still here…" Naruto sighed as the two girls seemed to not listen to him as the woman took Naruto's arm into hers and led him to his backyard. "Oop, guess we're going now, huh?"

The three were outside were Naruto was on his rear, with left leg stretched out and the other over it as he was giving a stoic look… he felt like he was posing for a Otome game cover as he saw his fiancée sneaking more than the usual glances for her painting.
"Almost done," The blonde first princess declared as the young man nodded, ignoring his bored nature. He would admit being painted was nice, and technically a big honor by a princess of all things.
"My legs… are… going… stiff…" Naruto pursed his lips trying to endure staying still. In fact, he could feel his legs going numb, losing feeling, replaced by the fuzziness.
"How much longer?" Amelia whined as she saw the older sister of hers seem to be finished as she started to place her art supplies down. Amelia gave a smirk as she would bad mouth Naruto on every single flaw she would see, "Ohoh let me… whoa…" She gaped at the sight of what she saw…
"Fufufu, it's not everyday something makes you speechless, Amelia." Gabrielle stated as she looked over to see Naruto still posing, silently enjoying his figure she had to show him what she made. "Naruto, please stand up and let me know if you like it."
The blonde noble did, ignoring the pins and needles in his legs, walked up to his fiancée's work and like her sister was stunned. It was definitely him as he was the subject…but the sight was amazing, she used watercolors that made the painting of Naruto almost like a winter dream. The colors were all white, blue, light lavender, the sight wasn't at all like the current season of Summer, but every single blade of grass was switched for fluffy snow. The bright sun color was tempered by small spots of snowflakes around his body.
It looked like he was sleeping in a winter wonderland and felt something soul-soothing at the sight, "Wow, this looks like something that Da Vinci or Van Gogh would make. As if you're watching that icy moment in time." He said softly, raptured at the sight of the portrait of himself.
"Hehe, why thank you." Gabrielle giggled. "I made sure to capture every feature of your visage perfectly."
Naruto blushed at the wording as it seems to be more passionate that what he usually heard from his betrothed, "Ah…Thanks…guess my mug- ahem face isn't too bad when someone as talented as you painting it?" He said with a chuckle but worried his future wife would frown. "Did I say something wrong?"
A nod came from her head but it made him hope he didn't say anything wrong, "I don't understand why you constantly talk down about yourself. It seems unbecoming of someone of your status?"
"Ahh…" Naruto realized what she meant, as he understood that reasoning at the complaint, "I mean, your sister is kinda right. Besides Keith, I'm not really something to be amazing." He lied as he knew his knowledge would be a bad thing for this world, especially when there's no big threat, don't add technology or present day events.
This isn't Doctor Stone…wait does that anime count as an Isekai type manga? "But wait, does that mean Inuyasha is the same as Stone?" Naruto said to himself. He shook his head comically, 'No, no, don't think that…'
Gabrielle took a moment to speak as she smiled, "Your mind is different than how most works, your idea for my new colors is something to be praised, your cooking and even music was all different from what others have done or mastered." She said as Naruto paled at the moment he just broke the cardinal rules of Isekai's.
'CRAP! I SCREWED UP!'
"This guy?" AMelia finally spoke her mind as she had a cocky smirk on her face and placed her hands on her hips. "I can easily play music notes better than him, I know how to bake, and…"
"Then let's test them~" The blonde princess suggested as Amelia's eyes gained a shine of excitement.

"Oooh this bodes poorly…" Naruto resisted the urge to facepalm as Gabrielle was no doubt planning to make her sister see why she chose him to marry.

"Hey Keith, where's Katarina?" Naruto greeted his adopted brother who was forced to 'participate' in judging as he, Gabrielle and lastly Katarina when they found her to eat the food they made.
The nervous boy smiled weakly, it was one thing to stand up to the prince when it came to his sister…but he couldn't look like a fool around his big brother's future wife. Unlike Katarina, Naruto was more worthy to be married into the royal family and likely make Katarina become the heiress of the family rather than marry the prince…hopefully.
So he had to make sure to seem kind and dutiful for the princess to be happy, as Katarina walked in he gained a more comfortable look. Which Naruto noticed as he looked to see the girl's arrival to make him happy, "Keith?" Naruto repeated.
"Uh… Katarina is um…" Keith began, he only stopped as Naruto waved him off.
"I know but I choose her cause she will say that both sides' food is good. So just be honest if mine is bad." Naruto explained as Amelia 'hmph' hearing that lame excuse and the younger brother nodded as Gabrielle giggled behind her usual trademark fan,
"V-Very well. If you insist."
The two 'chefs' were ready for the duel as Naruto spoke, "So…what do you want us to make?" He asked as Amelia nodded rapidly to hear what her sister would want.
"Something new~?" The princess said as both Katarina and Keith looked surprised at the request as both had ideas, Keith had eaten meals Naruto had taught the maids and butlers that were amazing, Katarina practically begged for thirds and fourths to have more.
"That… doesn't tell me anything." Naruto blinked, as he had a rather big arsenal of recipes to use as he used to be a pretty expensive Rent-A-Boyfriend when in his second life, he didn't like pretending to be loving boyfriend to girls who wanted arm-candy or to ogle at him but he had to learn to get quality pay.
"Oh, but it does. This is to show off your creativity." Gabrielle smiled, unashamed that she would even give them this challenge. "You two have two hours and I will throw curveballs to make it more exciting," She turned to the youngest brother of the family. "Young Keith may you start it off?" The first Princess asked as the boy daintily rang a bell that told the two competitors to start at last.
Naruto easily prep his basic stuff, eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and some usual other stuff that you can use for baking. He looked over to Amelia who did the same and smiled at the sight of a more competent woman than some of the girls he met before his official announcement to the princess was told.
So many of the young girls were already shallow and relied on talents and beauty to get by in life, unlike Amelia who seemed to be leveled headed. As she started ahead Naruto wanted to make something like his fiancée wanted…new.
"Alright, what else am I missing?" Naruto said to himself as he looked over his ingredients. "Oh right, vanilla. Gotta have that." He said, taking out a few vanilla beans out of a jar. "…Ooh…" He looked at his fiancée who just merely smiled at his eyes meeting her. "Are there any restrictions to this?"
"No, you may make whatever as long as everyone enjoys it." The princess waved off as Naruto quickly grabbed some cream and poured it into a bowl and mixed it as fast as possible. Using a second bowl he used some ice and placed the bowl that held the cream.
"Good, then I don't have to hold back." Naruto nodded, as he set himself to work.

An hour passed as Naruto and Amelia continued to work on their snacks for their friends/family, "*Ring~*"
The two looked at Gabrielle who feigned a bored look, "Oh deary all this waiting is making me rather listless, do you have something to curb that cursed fate?"
Amelia smiled as she stopped what she was doing and started to make a cup of tea, "Hold on I got something to-"
However she stopped as Naruto spoke in an almost alluring tone, "There were two siblings…North and South." The blonde teen started as he continued his dessert as everyone heard his tale, "Both were twins, both were the same, but one was a girl and the other a male. North was a kind boy, and will always give others his toys."
"Oh I never heard this tale before?" The first princesses stated as her sister also seem to be enraptured at the story.
As Naruto placed the cream in a cold space where they help their produce chill, he contiuned onwards. "South was not a good person, as time passed she seemed to worsen. When both became soldiers for their nation, and caused their people's salvation. South hated her sibling North, sending him to the battlefield forth. All to steal something that she believed to be hers."
"And what was that thing exactly?" Gabrielle inquired the young boy.
"…A spirit that guides them," Naruto muttered trying his best to not seem to be BS-ing this tale. Considering it belongs to his favorite comedy series Red Vs Blue, and had to plagazried the tale of North and South to make it sound like an actual tale to use. "Ahem, but when she saw her brother dead when finding him, she felt happy." He resumed no longer rhyming as he lost the mood for it.
"Oh my… why would she be happy about her brother's death?" Amelia frowned. "That's awful."
"Because she had the item her brother 'stole' from her," He answered again but spoke, as he started to plate small pieces of his food. "When a friend named… David came to find them, she lied and pretended to cry. But she soon realizes her lies and truths finally came to light, her allies all abandon her. Her last thing in her life that happened was gunned- ahem, shot through the heart by her former friend… she realized she deserved it… when she promised to always be there for her brother only to let him die for what she deluded into thinking that was hers." Naruto said, placing the plates as he finished his story. "Sorry it wasn't the most heartwarming tale but I felt the twins who came by, deserve to hear a story about one."
"*Ring~*" Naruto and Amelia looked at Kieth who rang the bell as he looked at the clock to show them that two hours has passed. "Oh, they're done." He noticed.
"Alright you two, let's see your creations." Gabrielle said, clapping her hands twice. "I'd like to see some originality in what you've made."
'Ooh she is so enjoying this…' Naruto mentally deadpanned as he placed his food in front of them. While Amelia did, hers seemed to be slightly underdone, as Naruto noticed the pastry seemed to be moist unlike his. "Oh this is a chilled whipped cream pie with cookie crumble crust, chocolate shavings and chopped dried cherries."
"Oooooh…" Gabrielle had an 'o' look as her eyes sparkled at the sight of the pie.
"Oh it's something we never had too!" Katarina said, taking a spoonful of the treat, "Ooh it's so sweet! It melts in my mouth but the crust makes it better too!"
Keith also took a spoonful of the treat and smiled too, "It's true the multiple textures are working, you don't have that in parties as many people don't want to focus on food, not to mention the sour and tart cherries made the sweet flavor more pronounced."
Gabriella slowly partook bites of the desserts, tasting it as carefully as she could…the princess hummed in delight, "Perfection, I give it the highest grade I can give." She announced clearly that her eyes were happy and enjoyed the food.
Soon Amelia walked up with a slight red blush on her face and had to present her own pie which was ok given the filling was cooked through…but in her moment of weakness listened to Naruto's story and caused her to place her dough at the same time as her filling, making it soggy.
"Ah…" Amelia looked on in horror. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen!
She watched as the three ate the food, Katarina clearly enjoyed it as it made Amelia sigh with some relief from the fact it tasted decent. Soon Keith also tasted her food, and had a look of satisfaction on his face as well. Okay, maybe it wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be.
Gabrielle also smiled as she finished her plate, "It was enjoyable even though it wasn't original." She said with a sad smile not happy to tell her younger twin that she didn't meet the criteria needed.
"You mean…"
"Yes. The winner of this contest… is Naruto."
Amelia looked down as Naruto raised his hands, "I think it's a draw, I mean the pie wasn't a pie, it was a dumpling." He said as everyone looked at him like he was stupid but he contiune on. "Dumplings can be wet and/or soft." He lied as he knew what a real one was but Amelia needed help.
"A… dumpling…" Katarina parroted.
"R-Really?" The silver haired girl questioned as he nodded with a smile.
"Yes, it is."
Keith however, only furrowed his brows in confusion, "…Ahh…" he started but noticed Naruto sending him a secret signal to not to contradict him, leading him to keep his word in his mouth.
While the first princess merely smiled as she knew her fiancée was trying to help, "It seems I have no choice but to make it a draw for today." She said enjoying the fact her twin was being defended by her fiancée.
"W-Well, I can take that…" Amelia blushed looking at Naruto realizing he saved her from looking like a fool.
"Good!" Gabrielle smiled brightly.
Amelia smiled as she gave Naruto a big smirk, "Don't think I'm done yet, I'm persistent and never give up!" She said as Naruto gave her a smile as he welcomed the girl's words.

After that day, Amelia came over again and again and like her prince counterpart wanted to 'defeat' Naruto whenever her sister came. But honestly it was something like a competitive friend would do, trying to always have fun despite being the best.
While Naruto didn't mind the friendly competition, it was starting to get a bit tiresome with each passing day. But today was something new as his father came in while he and Amelia were drawing an apple that Gabrielle made them do for today's 'competition', "Naruto, don't forget to start preparing for your and Katarina's birthday in a few months." The easy going noble reminded his son as Naruto nodded,
It was a noble custom for males to slowly become lead events they will soon practice on their own lives when living the home. Naruto's father was a big exception as most fathers would help their son but not Naruto as he was considered a prodigy and would not need it unless asked.
Naruto nods as he already did most of the prep work and which staff to choose for that day. "Yes, father. I'll be sure not to forget." He promised as Gabrielle smiled at her fiancées news. "Yes, I'll be sure to invite you and Amelia as well, just don't make it all about our betrothal again." He died remembering the last time they went to a party and a girl, who had no idea Naruto was already promised to the first princess, nearly died of shame when his fiancée openly and loudly announced her fiancée status of marrying her in the future.
Needless to say that poor girl had a big fear of the blonde shrewd princess from that day onward.
"Y-Yes… of course." Gabrielle smiled sheepishly at the blonde haired adolescent. "I did, apologize afterwards." She admitted as the young lady did admit she didn't mean to go that far…perhaps she was a lot more like her brother Gerodo afterall.
"You did, but now it's become something that will never stop bothering me until we actually tie the knot…" Naruto whispered to himself, as while he had no qualms about marriage between him and Gabrielle, considering he liked her the most from the male version of Fortune Lover, but the fact he has to always be careful on what he said was a bit on the worrying side.
"Tell me about it, Allen has to also deal with snot nose girls who want to marry him to get to our older brother." Amelia sighed, finishing a somewhat decent painting of an apple.
"Allen? Oh right…" Naruto mumbled as he realized that since Gerodo was part of the five it would make sense that Allen could be here as well. "Wait wouldn't that mean…?"
Mary Hunt, that was one of the characters who was going to marry Allen. If the memory was correct for both endings, normal and best for Allen, Mary backs down and allows Maria to be with him. But he was sure Katarina was still in exile or executed, Gerodo was pretty close to his sister, thanks to her new mindset. Even if he had Gabrielle on his side to protect her in case of trouble, he would need to have Allen and also Mary on his side. To get the best ending for Allen he had to earn friendship points to have her permission to be with the prince.
"Hey isn't there a party coming up?" Naruto asked as Amelia nodded on that question.
The silver haired girl looked over Naruto's shoulder to see Naruto's own painting and smiled proudly at his accomplishment as it looked realistic and therefore she admitted defeat again. "My youngest brother's fiancée, has a party. Though I'm not sure what it was." She said bluntly, "Despite our close bond, Allen doesn't let me know much about his fiancée besides her name, Mary Hunt."
Naruto smiled that he could become her friend and therefore prevent his twin's doom flags from triggering, "Well I need some reference for a party. If I'm right the sisters always throw rather nice parties despite their lack of male support correct? Might as well learn from them in case." Although he expected smiles he noticed, the girls looked saddened as Naruto wondered why they look like that when any other opportunity they would force themselves to join, "Hm? What's wrong?" He couldn't help but ask.
The twin princesses snapped out of their stupor when hearing his voice. "Oh, it's nothing to worry about." The first princess said, hiding her face behind her fan, "I…need to do extra magic training."
Amelia nodded as she spoke next, "Yeah her flames turn to this bright blue color and they want to see if it still burns hotter than cold in case it's a rare breed of magic." Amelia explained as she also sighed. "I also have to help my brother Allen for his studies as I am the only specialist who would even give him the time of day to train."
"Oh really." Naruto mused in slight interest about Gabrielle's magic.
"It never happened before but when I think…" The princess stops herself as she smiles, "Well when a certain someone comes to mind it makes my heart burn bright, which makes my flame brighter as well."
'Note to self, send a bunch of flowers to whomever pisses her off…" Naruto comically promised to himself, not realizing she meant it was him and in a caring way either, as always the dark princess's words made him misunderstand her intentions…perhaps she was like her brother in many ways. "So that means…" He said realizing that for the first time in a while, it would just be him and his siblings to head to a party. Considering the Prince that Katarina is engaged with, doesn't bother with things like other noble parties, while prince Allen wouldn't be part of Katarina's life until the academy starts.
"Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like." Gabrielle smiled wider.
'I was afraid of this!' Naruto comically panicked in his thoughts. He had to find a shovel and dig a deep hole for the body, he soon clasp his hands over the girls ignoring her sudden blush, "Don't worry…I'll be fine doing it myself!"
The princess' heart beated rapidly as she didn't think Naruto would be fine without joining the party. "O-Oh, you will?"
"Yes! I'll be fine!" Naruto squealed uncharacteristically, as he had to make sure to make that hole before going to the Hunt families party. Well he had a hole ready in case he had to fake his own death but…he just filled that one for Katarina's potato field… a perfectly makeshift grave gone…
"Naruto, are you alright?" Amelia frowned worriedly. "You look pale."
"Just fine…" he soon hugged her too, missing her squeak cutely and blushed FAR more than any flame spell could hope to match her face. "I'll make sure that you're in my mind too!" The thought of protecting another friend would keep his heart ready for this. "Alright gotta get it ready by tomorrow!"
He left the two girls both red as they never felt before as they looked at each other, "Ahem…please remember he is my fiancée Amelia…" Gabrielle tried to sound stern but her cheeks and trying to settle her breathing broke any serious tension she tried to summon.
"O-Of course I know he is your fiancée!" Amelia stammered. "Why would I steal him from you?!"
"…Why indeed?" The blonde princess giggled as it seemed her own sister hadn't realized her own feelings yet, 'Well as much as I don't want to fight over Naruto…it would be too cruel to shoot down her first love. It's not like another is going to come swooping in.' The first princess merely walked ahead, "Come along sister let's go home, I don't want our brothers to worried about our visit today, Jeffery has been exceedingly annoying as of late,"
"Y-Yes… of course." Amelia slightly pouted, but tried to ignore her sister's earlier words. Despite how…the reminder hurt her heart for some reason.

THE NEXT DAY

The three siblings were leaving their family carriage as they were in front of the Hunt family mansion, "Wow," Naruto muttered as living in his own home made him realize that other people had big houses which reminded him of his nobility. The three were given permission to attend the party, although their mother tried her damn hardest to prevent her daughter from attending.
Mostly due to the fact Katarina table manners and conduct on her own is really more for commoners than nobles. Still, it was something that eventually couldn't be avoided.
So adding both Keith and Naruto to watch over her so she can learn how to better herself and to have capable brothers who run interference. They saw three of the eldest daughters of the Hunt family walk to them, clearly they were making sure to have both the prince and princess consorts extremely happy with their home.
They were all lovely as Naruto would admit to that truth alone, watching the tallest and likely the oldest sister bow down to them. "I welcome you, and thank you all for attending the tea party today, we hope you enjoy it."
Katarina curtsied while Naruto bowed while placing his arm across his chest to give a formal and polite bow, "We thank you kindly for the invitation." The girls nearly blushed at the handsomeness of Naruto and smiled happily at Katarina's pleased tone.
"Everything is set up in the parlor," the sister on the left wearing a blue dress explained, while the sister on the right wearing a pink dress. "Please go in and make yourself comfortable."
Naruto was about to move until he saw the smallest person of the sisters walk towards the three arrivals, "Umm," she started unsure of herself on what should be exactly said, "I'm the youngest of the family, my name is Mary Hunt."
Naruto and his siblings gave her a warm smile as they saw her face brighten up, but the blonde male looked at Mary who immediately moved back and behind her sisters. He also took notice of the oldest smile almost fading, "W-Well may we go inside?"
Soon an hour passed, the two twins were surrounded by peers their age asking about their future spouses. The way they pounce on them made Naruto wonder if he and Katarina were really royalty themselves.
"Hmmmm…" Naruto hummed to himself in thought.
"Not enjoying the party?" Keith asked, approaching him. "You seem lost in thought."
"Keith I just spent the better hour answering the fellow boys' questions on getting married to royalty." Naruto recalled as he chuckled, "I'm making sure I can at least hear myself think." He joked as the adopted brother chuckled weakly at the truth in that.
"Ah, is that so?" Keith chuckled. "Well, I certainly can't blame you for that." He pointed to where they're only sister was at, the dessert table which made them sigh and chuckled at the girls usual M.O. for parties.
"Ok what are you thinking now?" Naruto comically whispered to his sister's ear while she was enjoying a particular tasting muffin.
She nearly choked until her instincts to eat made her swallow the food then spit it out. "N-Naruto, don't scare me like that." She admonished the boy.
However Keith gave a deadpan look, "I think she was thinking, 'How can I take all of these sweets with me?' Right Katarina?" The adopted son of the family accurately thought of what his sister was currently thinking.
Katarina flinched at this. "W-What are you saying, Keith?" She stuttered, with a sheepish laugh. "I would never-"
"You do. All the time." Keith deadpanned further.
Naruto chuckled as he agreed inwardly as the young man looked to the side and wondered where Mary was, he hadn't seen her since they arrived in the manor. He wanted to befriend her so his plans would work, but mostly he wanted to know why she was so crestfallen. "Especially that time you ate a cookie off the floor." Naruto reminded his sister who cried comically at that mistake, but the three second rule was a multi-dimensional rule… you had three seconds before it goes bad. He suddenly gasped as the girl started to shovel treat after treat into her small mouth… yet ate more than some women… and even men could!
"I'm… not going to be around for this." He then ducked as he walked away, easily lying to the guest he was going to the bathroom to attend to his business.

"Okay… crisis averted for now…" Naruto sighed to himself in relief, as he was now in an empty hallway, having it to himself. "If I had stayed there a minute longer, I would've suffocated…" he looked around trying to find Mary only to walk towards a wonderful looking garden.
He strolled through and smiled as a lovely fragrance came from them,despite not having chakra he was always interested in. "Whoever did this was amazing," Naruto stated as even back home with fancy tools and money no one could make this look as lovely as this.
"Naruto look at this!"
The blonde snapped his head to see Katarina from behind looking at the garden with gusto, considering that her fields have been lacking lately. The brown haired girl almost danced around the blooming field of flowers around them,
"Katarina, what are you doing?" Naruto asked.
"I was going to the bathroom, cause I ate-" "Question withdrawn…" Katarina started but Naruto deadpan reactions made her giggle in embarrassment at the boy's mind knowing what she was going for, "But I saw this on the way back to the parlor and couldn't help but be captured by it!"
"Well…" Naruto trailed off, looking at the field of flowers. "They do look beautiful." He commented.
"Aren't they?" Katarina said with sparkling eyes. "Each color is so vibrant and bright, I just want to pick them all and make a bouquet out of them!"
Before Naruto can respond he notices a young girl enjoying the scent of the flowers nearby. "Mary?" He asked as the girl turn to show he was indeed right and it was the young girl he was looking for.
"Lord Naruto and Lady Katarina? Why are you two here?" She asked curiously, why two big important people were here instead of the party that is currently happening.
Katarina scratched the back of her head, "I needed… uh some fresh air." She lamely excused despite needing to use the restroom.
"The same for me, I guess." Naruto answered sheepishly, but his gaze returned to normal as he spoke. "Are you well? I haven't seen you at the party since we got here."
The girl shook her head, "I…don't like them, they are rather noisy and I like to keep to myself." She said weakly as if her answer was shameful in itself.
Naruto couldn't help but blink in mild surprise. She doesn't like parties? "I see. I suppose anyone would feel suffocated if staying there for too long." He chuckled trying to sound kind as he looked around. "My word, this garden is amazing. Who did it?"
Soon his sister joined in to his pleasure as she also nodded to a rapid degree, "Yeah, who did such an amazing job?"
"Um… it was actually me." Mary answered shyly. "I planted this garden."
The twins looked back as Naruto was surprised, Mary's hobbies were gardening but to do such an amazing job by herself and at a young age? That made the girl more amazing than even his own work back in his three lives kept his plants alive.
"Wow, all by yourself?" Katarina asked in amazement.
"Uh sis?"
"Do you have a secret? What kind of tricks did you use?"
"Sis."
"L-Lady Katarina please calm down! This is a bit much!" Mary lightly, and Naruto could barely tell the smallest increase to her loud level, cried out to the brunette as her eyes became comical spirals from the anxiety and extremely close range of the girls face to hers.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" The young female of the Cales family apologized for her rude behavior. As she took a few steps back, soon the twin of Naruto spoke out the reason for her sudden and rather understandable excitement.
Mary nodded after listening to the whole spiel as she was rather surprised to hear the third prince betrothed would have such a strange hobby, "Fieldwork?" The youngest member of the Hunt family asked as Naruto, who left to get some tea, poured some into their cups.
"Yeah…" Katarina mumbled, slightly worried that she told another noble about her 'commoner' work, although it was for her own sake in case she failed in her duties to prevent her doom flags. "But the problem is that they are all wilting and I don't really know how to solve them in the first place."
"I… see." Mary nodded understanding that this was something new and honestly to hear from another noble girl like herself. She never really had to deal with such oddities before due to how she is shy and rather wants to be alone from other people.
"I know it sounds strange and…"
"Oh no, not at all." Mary refuted. "It's not strange."
"Really? You think so?" Katarina smiled as Naruto did but soon her smile faded as Mary sigh sadly at the realization of the situation.
"I'm sorry I really don't know what's good for vegetables, as I never raised them." The young Hunt female told her reasons as Naruto nodded to that truth. Unlike flowers some vegetables have a bit more of a trick to keep them alive and grow then just water flowers.
Soon the brash twin, who is surpassingly not Naruto, grabs Mary's hands into her own, "Then please come to my house and look at them?!"
"Hohoho…this is not going to end well." Naruto chuckled as he watched Mary once again surprised.

Calling the carriage early and returning home with Mary, Naruto and Katrina took her to the vegetable garden that was… in a less than presentable state.
"Ohh, you really are raising crops here." The young girl said as Naruto saw his sister walking to them in her farmer outfit.
"Yes, but… as you can see…" Katarina trailed off as she knelt down to examine her vegetables. "I thought maybe it was the heat but the other vegetables didn't die over there, see?" She pointed to another patch of dirt where much of the hired gardener's work was slowly rising up.
…
"Ooh!" Both Mary and Naruto gasped out loudout loud realizing what the problem was.
"What is it?" Katarina asked, tilting her head in confusion.
Mary smiled as she looked at the crops more closely, "I think its because you put them here while the shade isn't too much of a problem but it might be a small cause. Did you add fertilizer and water?" She asked as Katarina nodded to her questions.
"I did but maybe it wasn't enough for it to work?" The x-scar girl realized that she gave less than she would have, remembering in her past life that plants died from too much fertilizer.
"SO how about we change the locations of the plants?" Naruto suggested as the two girls looked at him, "The roots should be ok to take into a new spot and who knows maybe they will be able to get better in time for a good harvest?"

Soon hours passed as all three of the kids slowly did their jobs to help Katarina's crops get better. Naruto and his sister taking turns tilling the land, watering with Mary, and enjoying the whole process.
Then Mary continued to visit them nearly everyday to see the twins and to watch the progress of the garden slowly improving throughout the times they shared together.
"Well, we did it." Naruto nodded in satisfaction, with a grin, seeing that the vegetable garden had improved significantly.
Katarina nearly gushed with pride and happiness at the sight of what they accomplished in just a nearly a week, the plants were growing fast and steadily as gardener Tom's own nearby! SOon the girl sent her wide grin to a blushing Mary who was smiling sweetly at her own help that paid off. "It's all thanks to you, Mary! All these vegetables are going to be great when they are able to be harvested and I can't wait to eat them!"
"You got that right Kata." Naruto chuckled as he looked at Mary with a kind smile, "You really have a gift Mary."
The girl bashfully shook her head as she spoke, "But I didn't really do-"
"No way/Nonsense, you have a green thumb." The twins answered in unison as they looked at each other and smiled at their perfect timing for their answer.
However Mary looked confused at the term. "Green… thumb?' She blinked, looking at one of her thumbs.
"Haha." Naruto chuckled at the obvious confusion, "It's not a real common term in nobility, but its for those who work well with plants. I like to help my friend with flowers." Remembering Maria and her mother who he should meet up with soon, "But you were able to help my sister with just a few ideas that turned out to be great choices!"
"Yeah!" The reincarnated girl exclaimed loudly as she agreed wholeheartedly at the praise her brother gave to Mary. "It makes you extra special and amazing."
Mary's eyes seemed to water as she was so happy to be called that, her sisters often picked on her due to her shy nature and love for nature, something that they often called 'annoying' or 'weird'. But here were two amazing people who not only saw her as a friend but even called her special like they were to her. "…Lady Katarina, Lord Nathan?"
"Yeah?" The two once again answer in perfect timing as Mary looks them at the eyes.
"I know the plants are doing better now, but… may I come visit like I have before?" She asked kindly as the young man and girl nod happily.
"Of course! Anytime you want to come, just come. We already have three other guys who do the same." Naruto joked as he felt he was going to pay for that comment when the princesses and the prince visit next time.
Mary only lowered her head but not out of shame…but the warm feelings that her heart was making her chest overflow. "Thank you~" she cheerfully smiled at the twins.

Naruto smiled as Katarina was escorting Mary out as he and Keith were watching from the second floor window, "So I heard that Mary is the daughter of the second wife?"
"Yes, apparently." Keith answered. "Why do you ask?"
Naruto didn't say anything as he remembered how the sisters treated Mary, and if that was them holding back to make Naruto and his sister feel at home for the party. He was pretty sure that they were slinging insults to Mary that would explain her previous decorum on how she acted, "I'm starting to piece together how nobility don't like foster or step-children… uh… no offense Keith." He comically added as the boy waved off any of Naruto's worries.
"Oh no, it's quite alright. None taken." Keith placates him. "I feel kinda bad, if she has to take that abuse…"
"Well the best thing we can do Keith." Naruto started as he placed a hand on his adopted brother's shoulder, "Is to give her a good second home here." Naruto declared as the boy nodded as they waved goodbye to Mary who saw them before entering her carriage ride home. "Count on it."

"I won't lose~!"
Naruto sighed as he and Amelia were drawing a portrait of Gabrielle together as the golden haired girl giggled hearing her older brother Allen cry out when Katarina once again had beaten him.
"How many is that now?" Naruto sighed softly, obviously exhausted.
Amelia gave a small smirk as she said, "About the twentieth time." She kept count but clearly enjoyed the fact her closest brother was dealing with the same problem she once had. "Pass the fine line brush." Amelia asked as Naruto did what she wanted and soon collaborated with the painting to show the most realistic portrait anyone would ever see.
"Wow, who knew that we made something that amazing?" Naruto blinked, looking impressed that this portrait actually looked decent. It was the first time for such a style between the two as Naruto worked in the background while Amelia did the main body and both were a bit out of sync but the overall job was something beautiful!
The girls seem to be impressed but as Naruto was walking away, "Are you alright Nathan?" Gabrielle asked as she had never seen her fiancée ever go anywhere before when she was here save for bathroom breaks and reterving snacks.
"Hm? I'm fine-"
"Nathan…" Gabrielle repeated, as this time her face frowned. But noticed he was yawning, and realized her timing lately arriving and leaving did make him possibly forced to sleep later for time. "Ah… nevermind. Amelia we're getting Allen and leaving we need to get home to do some work." She declared as the silver haired girl was complaining and eventually left.
Naruto was in his room no doubt ready to talk to them… "Assemble the men…" He whispered to himself almost dramatically as if launching a nuke to fight,

In a room decorated with four walls each were decorated with each particular person that belonged to that wall. For this is a meeting in his own mind with the four aspects of his mind.
First was a wall that had bright orange, with the hidden leaf village symbol burned on the middle of the wall, soon a young chibi child of Naruto stood tall

They turn to see the only Naruto who doesn't look like them, he had striking similarities but the exception of his bangs cover his eyes, and his crude tone, "Well it seems you three had at least done something right. For a bunch of idiots with little information."

Naruto smiled as he seemed ready for whatever fate shall throw at him, and he looked at the clock ready to see that his time to visit Maria was going to vanish if he didn't go now.
He had to meet with her and learn more about her, for the first time in a while Naruto laughed loudly unbecoming of a noble as he enjoyed this. He felt like he was going to protect his family and enjoy life at the same time~!

Azure King: And now Mary wants to be in a Naruto/Katarina sandwich lol, and we see Naruto own little council similar to Baka-rina's- I mean Katarina's own, with the core aspects of his life.
