They soon arrived back at the castle-like place they called home and Shingo was brought to a room to stay in after he didn't wish for any food. Serena on the other hand was brought into a room near the Inu-leader's bedroom and assigned Jaken as well as a female cat-demon by the name of Neri.

Serena was still passed out hours after this. Slowly though she began regaining consciousness. When she did. The female cat-demon, who was watching her from the shadows, noted a black cat with a bald spot that looked like a crescent moon appear. She had not seen the cat arrive.

The cat opened the window somehow and sat next to the still disoriented Serena. Due to her increased hearing, Neri could pick up that Serena seemingly talked to the cat and therefore picked out its name. Luna. She couldn't tell that that Luna was responding, however.

Slowly the sun began to rise and Serena moved to stand up. Slightly stumbling while doing so. She opened the door to the bathroom to freshen up and the cat followed. Neri then decided it would be best to inform her Master of her waking up.

Serena began slowly waking up. She was very disoriented at first and then she spotted Luna sitting next to her. Before she began talking Luna hissed at her to be quiet as they were being watched.

"My head is killing me, ugh." She exclaimed quietly only to receive a look from Luna that told her 'you brought this on yourself.

She sat up slowly. "Should I be telling them anything, Luna?"

"Well, you have to explain some things at least. Seeing as you exposed your powers in front of them." Luna replied quietly.

"I guess you're right. I'll tell the truth as much as possible." Serena whispered back and then stood up shakily. Once she felt safe enough on her feet she moved to the bathroom to freshen up.

Very soon everyone had gathered in the huge living room of the manor. Serena entered last and moved very quietly toward the large window front. Once she was spotted all conversation stopped and Shingo ran to hug his sister.

For a moment the siblings embraced, Serena then gently pushed him to sit next to Inukimi. She smiled and let Shingo settle next to her.

All eyes were once more on Serena who had turned to look out of the windows.

"I hope we are clear on the fact that nothing I'll say leaves this room." She spoke. And upon not hearing any disagreements she continued.

"It happened when I was 5 and Shingo about 3 years old." She began. "We were at the playground near our house and got into a stupid fight." She chuckled darkly clenching her fists at her sides.

Inukimi saw Shingo tense up and gently grasped his hand. He looked up at her, his eyes glistening slightly.

"He ran off toward the street and I followed him. He ran across the street just as a car came speeding toward him. The driver saw him and tried to stop the car. Shingo froze in the middle of the street and... I jumped in trying to protect him. But the car had been too fast. It hit us full force and we hit the ground."

Her fists tightened even more as she took a shuddering breath.

"Shingo he hit the ground first. And I heard the crack as his neck broke..." She trailed off. Kagome gasped and stared horrified at her oldest friend. Shingo curled into Inukimi's side. Toga, Inukimi, Inuyasha, and Sesshomaru mustered Serena and Shingo wondering how the boy was sitting here if he had died.

"I remember crying and covering his still body. The driver took off before I realized it. And I don't know till this day how exactly I did it but suddenly Shingo was moving again. Complaining that I was suffocating him." She released another dark chuckle.

All eyes shot surprised to her and then Shingo. "The walk home is blurry. But I remember telling mom about it and she told me we couldn't have been hit by a car and come out unscathed. Neither of us had any cuts, bruises, or anything. Which really made it unbelievable. But Shingo said that he saw the car coming toward her and the next moment I sat crying on him."

"My mom was obviously confused. Because there was no way to survive a car crash when one's neck broke on impact."

"She took me to an old friend of hers. An older Eagle-demon. He figured out that while I was still human I was a reincarnation of someone who had lived thousands of years before. How he figured that out I wouldn't know." She sighed and tapped the window with her finger gently. Nothing happened.

"Mom didn't believe him at first but more crazy things happened like that. But with animals. A dog had been hit with a car and I had brought him in. And in front of her, the dog's wounds healed and he went from half dead with broken limbs and possible internal bleeding to a healthy puppy. That's when she took me back to him and he explained further."

A black cat with a bald spot that looked like a crescent moon was now spotted sitting on the other side of the window.

Serena sighed and explained that her family had been in danger due to her powers since she first discovered them. The Eagle demon had trained her to have better control over her powers and implored her mother to keep her powers a secret from everyone. Nobody was supposed to know not even close friends.

Now Serena opened the Window and let in the cat. It jumped and sat on Serena's shoulder seemingly mustering all of them.

"I trained with him every week and soon he explained my reincarnation must have been a former healer of the long destroyed moon Kingdom. Most people don't know about it." She paused and turned around with Luna sitting on her shoulder.

"I met Luna here when I was 13. She is my familiar. That's the reason for her Cresent Moon." She gently tapped Luna's forehead.

She explained further that not soon after she met the other girls and Rei, more specifically, soon helped her developing her skills better.

"Another thing that you may or may not have guessed is that Sailor Cosmos is my future Ruler. Therefore even if you were to ask me anything about her I would not be obligated to answer anything."

They all looked at her unsure of what to do with the information given to them when Shingo spoke up. "I still don't want you to leave once the time comes! She may have been your Princess in your last life but does she really get to dictate your future here as well." That surprised them.

"So you're telling me you'll have to leave once she takes up her role as Queen of the Moon?" Toga questioned.

Serena looked at him and nodded. "It is my duty to follow her. So when the time comes and she decides to take up her throne and rebuild the moon Kingdom many will awaken and follow her call. As will I." She sighed and twirled a strand of her hair.

"You see my hair has been turning more silver over the years. The day will come when it will have turned completely silver. That will mean that the Princess is ready to take over the throne and has fully awakened. Which will trigger my synchronization with my past self."

"I don't want you to leave for a Princess that nobody knows anything about. You know she is being hunted by many." Shingo insisted.

What happened next surprised as well as shocked everyone but the Tsukino siblings. "Shingo we've had this topic before and I will tell you again that once she has fully synchronized with her past self she will not fight the pull toward her future Queen. The Silver Millennium People are very loyal to their queen. So much that they would betray her to help her." Luna said sounding very annoyed.

"It talked..." Kagome whispered shellshocked.

Everyone else just looked at the cat with differing emotions.

Shingo rose to his feet and glared, actually glared at the cat. "I don't care and you know that neither mom nor dad are okay with any of this. We get that you have powers and will change more over time but you can't just expect us to be okay with you leaving for some strange princess just cause Luna told you to."

Luna now glared at Shingo. Her fur was bristling. "Shingo. You still do not understand that I do not have anything to do with Serena leaving. That decision was up to her from the start. But she accepted her powers and the fact that she will synchronize with her past self. Meaning that she will leave even if I told her to stay. The Silver Millennium's People were all that loyal to their Queen Selenity and her Daughter Princess Serenity."

Serena now interrupted. "Luna settle down." Luna scoffed but did stop glaring at Shingo.

"You guys might not understand this and that is perfectly okay. It is different for me and most people. We do not see her as a God or something but she is the most precious thing for us. I'm not sure if you have ever thought about the hardships she has faced. Or considered how many times she has saved earth despite people hunting her." She took a deep breath and let them ponder over what she said.

"Yea I get that she has been through a lot and saved us multiple times and I am thankful but still..." Shingo trailed off looking at his sister pointedly.

"No Shingo you're missing the point. It's not known to everyone obviously but the Princess was never meant to fight. She was to be the last resort. The Sailor Senshi should be the ones doing the protecting and saving."

"But... wasn't she like the first Sailor Soldier to appear. How could she awaken as one if it wasn't meant to be." Kagome questioned confused.

"Most likely she was awakened as a Soldier because she was recognized as a Senshi rather then the Princess. I have watched the development of the battles ans really she was never much of a fighter but used her power even when she didn't wish to fight." Luna concluded taking a breath before continuing.

"And I felt her awakening a while before she faced her first great battle where she used her powers as the Moon Princess. And instead of remaining as the Princess on the sidelines she choose to evolve as her Senshi Form making her stronger than ever" Luna finished.

"But really I get that probably some bad shit happened to her but some people had it worse I bet." Inuyasha snorted looking angrily over at the cat. Kagome looked shocked at Inuyasha unable to form a sentence.

Befoe Luna could even retord or anything Serena took her into her arms. "Luna relax."

"But Seren- Serena, how could you let him say such things." Luna spat angrily.

Successfully ignoring Luna Serena turned to Inuyasha and smiled sadly. "Maybe you are right. But do you know her Story?"

Inuyasha didn't reply but she knew the answer. He didn't.

"Inuyasha you know best that you should never judge someone by what you heard or what you think is true by looking at a person. They may have just lost their entire Team and had the hardest battle of their life. You can never truly know what someone is going through unless they tell you." She reminded him gently.

While Inuyasha looked rather embarrassed Sesshomaru was quickly loosing interest in the conversation.

But then Serena turned back to the window and sat Luna down.

"If you do have any questions left now ask me later. Right now I have to take care of something." And without another word she jumped through the window.
