Chapter 6

The next morning Angela awoke alone but smile as she saw a note from Lex on her bedside table. Reaching over she grasps the note between her fingers and moves so she is more comfortable to read it.

My Angel,

I had to leave this morning not only to avoid your father knowing we slept in the same bed together but I'm expecting company that is being sent to me by my father and I have to make sure the castle is ready. Do not fret for you will see me later my love if not I will make sure to find a way to inform you of what is going on. I love you Angela Kent you have made me see true love for the first time in a long time.

Love Lex

Smiling Angela leaned over and laid her note in her top table drawer before rising and heading out for the shower. She had decided to forego the run this morning and instead opted to get her chores done sooner to have more time before school.

An hour later Angela was downstairs after eating a quick breakfast she had already got half her chores done. Sitting on the porch Angela heard the door open behind her.

"My half all that is left?,"

"Yes bro done all mine early,"

"Ok sis see you in a bit," Clark replied speeding out to begin his chores.

Heading in Angela went upstairs and began getting ready for school. Starting with a shower, once she was done she dug through her closet for a nice outfit. Deciding upon a pair of black flared jeans, and a black top with a silver rose on it, her necklace and her promise ring.

After grabbing her school bag she headed downstairs to wait for Clark who finally showed up ten minutes later. As they moved outside to wait for the bus Angela turned to her brother.

"Honest feelings about me and Lex?,"

"I'm happy for you sis as long as he don't hurt you I approve," Clark smiled just as the bus pulled up.

Once in school Angela made her way to her first class as Clark headed to see Chloe. As she passed the coach's office she couldn't help but notice the fact that when he slammed his fist on his desk that fire erupted. Keeping that tidbit of information to herself she knew it had to be another meteor case.

Clark

Heading to gym class he noticed Angela sitting on the bleachers with her English class. Warming up Clark began to do the daily twenty laps that Coach made them do.

"Alright boys line up," Coach hollered even before most had the chance to run.

"Today we're playing football and if you impress me perhaps I will consider you for the team, now run your laps," as the announcement finished the guys began to run their laps as Clark was finishing his.

"Kent I've been noticing you I want you on the football team,"

"Sorry coach I'm not interested,"

"Dammit Kent I'm serious I want you on this team with or without permission that's a order not a request," Clark looked shocked as the Coach walked away having a bad feeling about this.

Angela could see things weren't good, their dad didn't want Clark playing cause of their powers he could hurt the other players if he got lost in the game. She knew the crazy Coach wasn't going to let up and just shook her head going back to her work.

At The Farm After School

"I don't care Clark you're not playing football and that's final," Jonathon hollered.

"Coach thinks I'm good I'm playing with or without your permission!," Angela couldn't handle hearing her brother and father fight so she headed outside.

Sitting on the fence near the end of the drive way she looked up the road towards the way Lex always came missing him a lot. She knew he was busy so she didn't expect to see him today so she just waited for the yelling to stop.

Luthor Castle

Lex was furious at his father sending these kiss assers to watch over every little thing he did to make sure he ran the plant right. He wanted so bad to see Angela but he couldn't even get the free chance to write her. He continued to argue with the business managers explaining he had a bold move to increase the budgets and production.

"Out get out!," Lex finally lost his patience and kicked the managers out of the castle.

Grabbing the keys to his Porsche he hopped in the car and took off towards the farm. He was going for his girl nothing was stopping him now.

At The Kent Farm

The yelling was still going on and Angela was slowly becoming tired when all of a sudden she saw headlights come speeding up. With a screech of tires she smiled when she saw Lex exit the Porsche. Jumping off the fence she ran into his arms hugging him tightly.

"I thought you were busy,"

"You come before anything baby,"

"Aww Lex," Angela smiled as she kissed Lex.

"What are you doing all the way down here though babe?,"

"Clark and dad are fighting about Clark wanting to play football,"

"Do you want to come spend the night at my home?,"

"I would love to Lex," as Angela agreed she took Lex's offered hand and got into the Porsche.

Luthor Castle

When Lex and Angela arrived she giggled as Lex walked behind her his arms kept around her waist as he led her through the castle. By passing the rest of the castle for the night Lex led her right upstairs to the bedrooms.

"Your choice Angel your own personal room or share mine tonight,"

"Yours," Angela replied with no hesitation. With matching smiles Lex led Angela into the master bedroom.

Walking to his dresser Lex removed a old long t-shirt he had and handed it to Angela.

"I'll wait in the hall so you can change,"

"You don't have to Lex," Angela replied as she slowly slipped off her tank top and slid the t-shirt Lex had given her over her head. Then she slid her pants down her legs and folding them placed her clothes on top of the chair in the corner of the room.

Lex had been stunned as he watched her change with the only thing he could think was that she is beautiful.

Turning her head Angela noticed Lex was stunned in silence moving she smirked as she sat on the edge of his bed.

"Come to bed Lex," all Lex could do to respond was nod his head as he quickly undid the buttons on his shirt and tossing them in the basket by the door, and then undoing his pants throwing them in the basket as well, having thankfully left their shoes downstairs Lex moved around the bed and sat on the other side clad only in his boxer shorts.

Angela was nervous although they had shared a bed before this time they were alone and they dressed in less then before. Moving under the blanket Angela and Lex met in the center of the bed. Lex knew not to push with his angel and so he just held her close stroking his fingers through her hair as she laid with her head on his chest. And that is how they fell asleep that night happy and comfortable in each others embrace.
