Chapter 7

Angela awoke the next morning and smiled remembering last night. Snuggling closer to Lex she placed a kiss on his chest as she felt him begin to stir awake.

"I could get use to waking up like this,"

"As could I Lex it's perfect but I got school today unfortunatly,"

"Go grab a shower babe I will make sure Rose has breakfast ready in the kitchen," nodding Angela slipped out of bed and headed into the the bathroom.

Lex leaned over and picking up his phone buzzed the intercom in the kitchen.

"Good morning Mr Luthor breakfast is indeed ready for you and your lady guest,"

"Rose it's scary sometimes how you know when I'm not alone,"

"I have known you since you were a child I'm just that good," ending with laughter Lex ended the intercom and got out of bed just as Angela came out of the bathroom clad with only a towel wrapped around her.

"Um breakfast is ready spoke to Rose, I'll just grab my shower and be out in a bit," Lex stumbled over his word as he rushed into the bathroom knowing it meant a cold shower for him this morning.

Angela giggled at Lex's reaction and moved redressing in her clothes from the day before that she had noticed had been refolded and placed differently on the chair which had to mean that the laundry had gotten done and Rose was nice enough to wash her outfit as well.

Sitting on the bed she smirked as Lex came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist but in turn it made Angela's jaw drop seeing Lex's sculpted chest. Lex could tell his lady liked what she saw and while she sat in shock he made his way over to her.

Bending down lex picked up Angela's jaw and kissed her lips sensually and passionately. Angela snapped back into her senses and moaned into the kiss her hands coming to rest against his chest as they kissed.

Lex knew they had no time for much and sadly pulled away from his lady.

"Later we will finish that," Lex promised as he moved over to his dresser and took out his shorts for the day and heading to the closet removed his black suit, blue dress shirt, and black shoes.

An hour later found Angela and Lex sitting in the kitchen enjoying a wonderful breakfast made by Rose consisting of fruit, french toast, and scrambled eggs. Angela felt in her heart she could have this every day of her life but the future was never certain.

Kent Farm

Clark had just finished his and Angela's chores he felt it was the least he could do for being the cause of her leaving the farm that night. As he went to head inside for his school bag he was surprised to see Lex's black porshe pull up.

"Hey Lex,"

"Hey Clark," Lex replied as he made his way around the porshe and opened the passenger side door.

Clark wasn't surprised to see his sister exit the porshe having known she would have went to Lex to avoid the fighting.

"Good morning sis,"

"Bro, the fighting finished?,"

"For now, first football game practice is today,"

"Just be careful bro,"

"I will sis don't worry about ur chores I did them for you felt it was fair since I technically ran you off,"

"Thank you bro," Angela replied before kisisng Lex's cheek to head inside for her school bag as well.

Once inside Clark turned to his sister and asked the question he wanted to outside about last night.

"So what happened last night,"

"Lex showed up and took me over to his home I slept there last night since you and dad were going at it,"

"I am sorry about that sis,"

"Forgiven Clark," Angela smiled as they grabbed their bags and Clark grabbed their lunch money, handing Angela hers.

Making their way back outside Lex was leaning against the front of the porshe smiling waiting for them.

"Come on cool ride to school today," laughing Clark slid into the back seat as Angela slipped back into her seat beside Lex in front.

After Lex got in he handed Angela a thin black card.

"What's this?,"

"Its for you babe use it for whatever you want,"

"Lex you shouldn't have I don't need your money,"

"I know but I feel better babe knowing your not going to be stranded anywhere with nothing at least this way even if you get stranded I can send a car for you and I could find your location please just carry it just in case,"

"Thank you Lex," Angela replied leaning over kissing his cheek in gratitude for his caring nature as he started up the porshe and pulled out of the driveway heading for the school.

Twenty minutes later they pulled up in front of the high school. Angela kissed Lex's lips before sliding out of the porshe and Clark climbed out after her. Lex had told her earlier in the morning he had yet more business to attend but would try to pick her up after school.

Clark and Angela made their way in as Lex pulled away Chloe was dumbstruck as she realized Angela and Lex Luthor the most richest man in town were dating.

"Think you can get me a interview Angela?,"

"No,"

"What? Why not?,"

"Cause my boyfriend is not in my life for your journalistic ambitions you want one you make the appointment I'm staying out of it," with that said Clark and Angela continued past them to class.

The day went by pretty uneventful except for perhaps the hushed whispers of a fight between principal Kwan and Coach that occured over the jocks cheating. Chloe had released the edition of the paper that day with the headline Coach abuses players and knew something bad was going to happen.

Clark was already outside when the last bell of the day rang and was heading to practice when he saw principal Kwan begin to start his car but had to super speed and rescue him as his car exploded.

What no one knew was that Angela had witnessed who had done it. She had stood behind the corner of the wall and watched Coach blow up prinicpal Kwan's car with his mind.

Angela kept the info to herself as she took off before she could get caught. Making her way out she caught Clark's eyes and mouthed 'talk to you later' before heading to where Lex was going to meet her, unfortunatly though he wasn't there but as she realized that her phone beeped.

Sliding open the screen to read the message she smiled seeing it was from Lex.

Angel, meeting running late I love you and will meet you at the beanery be careful and make sure you eat when you get there I promise to pick you up there when I'm done. Love Lex

Smiling Angela made sure her bag was securely on her shoulder and headed away from the school far enough that no one would see her super speed to the beanery in town.

When she arrived she headed in and seeing Chloe and Pete smiled at her friends before heading to the counter. She knew Lex would know if she ate or not she knew he loved her and only wanted to take care of her so she ordered a double mocha latte and a thriple chocolate muffin.

Joining her friends after paying for her order with the card Lex gave her she got serious as she over heard Chloe speaking of the Coach.

"You're right Chloe,"

"Huh about what Ang,"

"There is a wall of weird thing going on with Coach when I was leaving school he was standing by the window facing the parking lot and staring intently at principal Kwan's car next thing I knew I witnessed the car blow itself up,"

"I knew it," Chloe declared as she jotted down the occurance in her notebook of weird.

Angela happen to look up as her order was delivered and noticed several of the jocks that had been suspended leave the beanery.

"You want scoop Chloe, there go several of the suspended jocks perhaps you can find out what they are up to,"

"You're right," Chloe declared as she quickly scooped up her notebook and book and dashed out.

"You know she won't leave this topic alone now right," Pete mumbled around his muffin.

"This is one story I don't think should be ignored Coach is a menace to the school," Pete nodded in agreement when they heard the bell of the Beanery door open.

Looking up Angela noticed Clark, Lana, and Lex enter at the same time.

"Hey sis,"

"Hey how was practice?,"

"Short but fun, dad was there but not for long," sighing Angela turned to Lex.

"I might be spending another night with you if that's ok Lex,"

"Anytime babe," Lex smiled as he kissed her forehead as he sat down beside her.

"Thank you by the way, I hadn't noticed I was hungry after school the card came in handy,"

"Told you so,"

"Smartass," Angela laughed as she leaned in for a kiss.

"I gotta head out though I rescued Chloe earlier and she wants to check on Trevor,"

"Be safe Clark Coach is nuts," nodding Clark hugged his sister and left to meet up with Chloe.

Clark

Heading out of the beanery Clark made sure no one was watching and sped off towards Trevor's house. As he arrived he noticed Chloe already there. After making sure she was ok they knocked on the front door.

"Maybe he isn't home,"

"Let's try around back," agreeing Clark leads in front as they slowly made their way around the house.

Arriving at the garage Clark opened the door only for him and Chloe to discover Trevor not only at home but surrounded by fire extinguishers.

"Trevor are you ok?,"

"No, I admit I'm the one who told on Coach for giving out the math test and for doing that he attacked me, he burned my arm," Trevor sputtered out as he showed his forearm with the hand shaped burn.

Clark motioned for Chloe to stay and take care of Trevor as he left to track down Coach.

Didn't take him long to find him though Clark knew he had to still be at school and he was right, in his personal sauna. Opening the door Clark started in on him.

"You attacked Trevor, he showed us the burn on his arm in the shape of your hand, he told us you attacked him for telling on you,"

"Is that so," Coach replied standing up getting in Clark's face.

"You had no right to attack students," Clark proudly stood up to him as he got closer to Coach in the sauna. But something wasn't right he was feeling weak.

Looking over at the coals Clark realized why he was ill, for the sauna coals weren't regular coals but meteor rocks. Taking the chance Coach overpowers Clark and tosses him out of the way as he gets out of the sauna and locks Clark inside.

Angela

Angela sat with Lex in the porshe enjoying their ride around town just them together when she got a bad feeling.

"Lex I think something's wrong with Clark,"

"What do you mean Angel,"

"It's a twin thing but I have a feeling he is in trouble, try the school," nodding Lex spins the porshe around and makes their way to the high school.

Arriving Angela jumped out of the porshe with Lex not too far behind her. Racing towards the men's locker room Lex stops her.

"Let me make sure no one is in there,"

"Oh yea good point," Angela agreed as lex went in first and cleared the room. Motioning for Angela to join him they head further in.

Hearing a faint tap they move towards the sauna in the corner where they see Clark tossing rocks at the window for help.

Angela gasped in worry as she quickly unlocked the sauna door. As she went to help Clark she stumbled feeling ill herself affected by the same issue as Clark.

Lex noticed and pulled her away and helped her to sit on the bench. Heading into the sauna himself he picked Clark up by the arms and began dragging him out of the sauna but noticing along the way out that the same rocks as the necklace before was being used.

Once Clark was out of the sauna he slowly regained his colour.

"Help Angela out of the school Lex I'm going to go end this with Coach,"

"Be safe bro," came Angela's tired voice from the bench.

"I will sis," Clark replied leaving the room quickly.

Lex could tell Angela was exhausted from being around those rocks.

"Angel why do those rocks make you sick?,"

"I don't know Lex, ever since we were younger Clark and I have been unable to be around those rocks, please take me out of here," nodding Lex moved placing his arm under Angela's knees and picking her up bridal style. He knew one thing if they made his angel sick he was going to hunt down every single one of those rocks and destroy them.

Clark

Barging into the gym Clark stood his ground against Coach. As Coach notices him he throws the first punch. Things were getting out of hand quickly but Clark had noticed the more mad Coach got the hotter his skin got with each punch.

Taking the clue Clark lands one last perfect punch knocking Coach to the ground. Irate Coach jumps up ready to fight him more when all of a sudden he began screaming. Clark backed away from him and just making it outside the doors of the gym barely he heard the screams quiet down as he had known Coach had just burned himself alive inside out.

Angela

Lex had just placed Angela in the porshe when the fire alarms began to go off in the school. Turning he noticed Clark running out of the school.

"What happened?,"

"Coach attacked me and when I fought back he set the gym and himself on fire,"

"They should really watch who they hire these days," Lex replied as he heard the fire truck sirens in the distance.

"Is it over?," Angela asked from her seat in the porshe.

"Yes sis and no more football for me,"

"Dad will love that," Angela laughed as she began to look and feel alot better.

After speaking to the fire cheif and explaining what occured Clark climbed in the porshe on Lex's side, and then Lex got in and they took off for their homes.

After dropping Clark off at the farm he had Clark explain Angela was going to be staying at his house again tonight. They knew things weren't going to quiet down, Lex knew there had to be something that he and possibly Angela didn't know that was connected to those rocks but he swore he would find out and so began his obsession.
