At School
"So how are things going between you and Lex since the future seeing incident,"
"Good Chloe we spent last night together reassuring each other that we wouldn't hurt each other,"
"That's good, hey give me a second got to ask Jodi for help with algebra," Chloe said as she, Pete, and Angela approached Jodi.
"Hey Jodi,"
"Hey guys what's up,"
"We need your help with algebra if you don't mind,"
"Sure no problem,"
"Cool thanks let's talk about it on the way to the cafeteria," Pete suggested as they made their way to their lunch period.
"Here's a thought let us buy you lunch Jodi as a way of paying you for your time to help us with our homework,"
"Thanks but I only drink vegetable shakes now, i'm trying to lose weight,"
"Why you look great the way you are,"
"That's nice of you to say Angela but I want to be skinnier for Lana's party,"
"That's obscure Jodi you look fine there is no reason for you to change," Angela said as she turned and took off mad at the fact that others think they had to change for others.
Luthor Mansion
"Well Mr Luthor your white blood cell is a bit high but there is no sign but I don't suspect Leukemia or anything worse,"
"That would explain why I never got sick but i did have asthma until I lost my hair in the meteor shower,"
"That is quite normal in Smallville i have seen a lot of people affected in different ways from the meteor shower,"
"Some believe it's the Luthor plant causing the problems,"
"I can assure you Mr Luthor the meteor shower is to blame for a lot of it," nodding Lex watches as the doctor packs up his equipment and leaves with his hefty check for personal home visit.
Sitting down at his computer Lex turned picking up his cell phone knowing Angela would be in class he opted for texting her.
Hey love, doctor just left beside a high white cell count he says i'm perfectly fine I love you and see you after school
After sending it to Angela Lex decided to check out the local newspapers and noticed a article by Angela's friend Chloe that captured his attention proclaiming Smallville as one of the oddest towns in America.
School
Feeling her phone buzz against her hip where it sat while in class Angela took a quick second to sneak a peak at Lex's message and smiled at the good news.
Quickly fixing her attention she knew she could do it without looking sent a reply back to Lex.
Forgot the car cause Clark picked me up if you can come get me after school love, happy to hear the news see you later
The school day wore on and finally the final bell rang signalling the end of the day. Grabbing her books and her bag Angela met up with Chloe and Pete in the Torch office.
"Waiting for Lex?,"
"Yup since Clark took off to help Lana as usual he doesn't have a chance and yet he follows her around like a dog,"
"Some of the things people can do for love is stupid," came Lex's voice from the doorway.
"Love!," Angela smiled happily as she greeted lex with a kiss.
"Hey Lex," Pete and Chloe said as Lex joined the three of them in the office.
"So Chloe I read your article about Smallville being the oddest place in America, I quite agree ever since the meteor shower some really strange things have happened here,"
"I know right," Chloe said excitedly at the fact Lex Luthor was interested in her studies of Smallville.
"This is everything I have collected so far your the only person to show interest in this except for Dr Hamilton but sadly he had been forced to selling fake meteor rock chips to tourists," Chloe said as she got up to show Lex her wall of weird.
"Very astounding Chloe, perhaps you can come by the mansion and we can discuss this further, and I will look into funding Dr Hamilton's work if I find it acceptable,"
"Oh wow, of course name a time and a date,"
"I will check my calendar and have Angela let you know tomorrow when she arrives here,"
"Thank you Lex,"
"Your welcome Chloe. Ready to go Angel?,"
"Yes Lex, bye Chloe and Pete see you both tomorrow,"
"See ya Ang," Pete said as he began packing up to get ready to walk Chloe home.
As Angela and Lex got in the Mercedes Lex surprised Angela by grasping her chin pulling her into a kiss before he turned by to the car and started it up to take them home.
Next Day
Angela pulled up to school in her Audi just as Pete and Chloe and Clark arrived.
"Well hello brother dear who I don't see much lately of,"
"Sorry Angela I been helping Lana with class work and talking about her party,"
"Of course the dog following his owner around," Angela joked as they made their way inside.
"Hi guy's," Jodi greeted them at the entrance.
"Hey Jodi you look good I see your diet is working for you," Angela said nicely even though she hated the idea of dieting.
"Yes i'm going to look great for Lana's party,"
"Ugh!," Angela huffed as she took off tired of hearing about Lana's birthday party, thankfully Lex had agreed to take her to Metropolis for that evening for a special date night.
"So I was wondering Pete if maybe you would go to the party with me?,"
"You mean as a date?,"
"Yes,"
"Sure," Pete agreed before they said sorry to Jodi each making their own separate ways to their classes.
Kent Barn/Clark's Loft
Clark looked through his telescope doing what he told no one he did, spying on Lana from his window. From this spot in his loft he had a clear view of Lana's house. Sadly tonight's view was of Whitney and Lana. But Clark noticed even Lana wasn't happy tonight cause all Whitney did was give her a book for her birthday since he made other plans for the day of her party.
"Spying on someone Clark shame on you," as Chloe teased Clark Angela who had arrived with Chloe started to laugh as Clark jumped at the sound of her voice.
"Don't do that," Clark hissed having been startled.
"Why it was fun," Chloe laughed as Angela moved and flopped down on the couch rubbing her now sore ribs from laughing.
"So a deer was found dead on route five, they are listing the cause of death as unknown sounds like another article for the wall of weird,"
"Oh lord Chloe hear we go and now I know you want us to go with you," Angela said giving Chloe a 'I know you' look about the subject.
"Yup,"
"Lex will kill me if I get in trouble doing this with you,"
"You won't get in trouble Angela, please I need you and Clark your my sidekicks,"
"Fine ok you win I will come with you, but if this brings trouble you get to explain it to Lex,"
"Deal," Chloe said happy that so far Angela agreed.
"Alright i'm in," Clark agreed too since his sister agreed to go.
Chloe gloated as Angela drove her and Clark to the Animal Control Office in her Audi. Arriving at the office they made their way in as Chloe did all the talking.
"Come on guy's," Chloe beckoned as she was being led into the room where the deer was being held.
Taking her time Chloe took a bunch of photos of the dead deer, and spoke to the person in charge getting as much details as she could.
"Seems the deer lost eighty percent of its body fat, like it's been killed by a fat-sucking vampire,"
"Really lipo jokes what's with everyone and the weight shit lately,"Angela cursed as she stomped out of the office.
"What's with Angela lately,"
"She's always been sensitive on the subject of weight, none of us understood why," Clark replied as he and Chloe left the Animal Control building.
Getting in the car it was a quiet ride back to Chloe's and Clark's stops before Angela headed home to the mansion.
Luthor Mansion
Stomping into the mansion Angela stormed into the living room and roughly sat down on the leather couch in front of the fire. Pulling her legs up under her chin she was unaware when Lex entered the room so lost in her thoughts.
"Love? is everything alright?,"
"Huh, oh sorry Lex, ya everything's ok just getting tired of hearing things at school,"
"Like what Angel,"
"Everyone has been talking about weight loss constantly. I don't understand why people are perfect the way they are people are made the way they are suppose to be why change,"
"Cause some people don't see that love they see things as imperfections, but that's what i love about you," Lex said sitting back pulling Angela into his arms.
"You always know how to make me smile," Angela said as she leaned up and placed a soft loving kiss on Lex's lips.
Curling up in his arms Angela and Lex relaxed in front of their fire letting their troubles go for the time so they were as unstressed as possible.
Suddenly though the doors opened to Rose bringing in the mail and dinner.
"Thank you Rose go home to your family you stay here way too long,"
"You may be older but it is still my duty to take care of you Alexander and now your lady as well," smiling at Rose Angela giggled as she sat up to begin her dinner.
Agreeing with her Lex sat up and began his dinner as well as Rose left for the evening.
Next Day
Clark entered the Torch office and was surprised to see Lex standing in front of Chloe's wall of weird.
"Hey Lex,"
"Hey Clark how are you?,"
"I'm good just surprised to see you here,"
"I met Chloe the other day when I had to come pick Angela up, and she showed me this wall of weird she has. Today I came to speak to the principal about a computer lab for the school and decided to stop in and see what she had collected on Smallville,"
"Oh it's odd isn't it how she tries to link the events to the meteor rocks,"
"No quite opposite Clark its very possible after all I was affected by the meteor shower," Lex replied as he strolled out of the Torch's office.
Clark was surprised to find that out about Lex, but put it out of his mind as he left to meet up with Lana.
In the hallway Lex bumps into Chloe just the person he was looking for. Walking up to her and Pete Lex smiles as he greets her.
"Hello Pete and Chloe,"
"Hey Lex," they replied as they turned to face him.
"Chloe I wanted to discuss your wall of weird with you, come by the mansion this evening just grab a ride with Angela and I will make sure you get home safe in the limo,"
"Oh wow thank you Lex you're the only person that has ever wanted to discuss it with me aside from Dr Hamilton,"
"Dr Hamilton?,"
"Oh he is a very good mineralogist but sadly he has been forced to selling plastic meteor chips,"
"I will speak to Dr Hamilton if he is as good as you say he is then I will make a business arrangement with him for funding for his lab,"
"That would be awesome Lex thank you,"
"You're welcome Chloe, I should be going see you this evening. Take care Pete," Lex said as he walked away and made his way out of the school.
Clark and Lana
Sitting on the stadium seats Lana sighed as she thought of her birthday coming up.
"What's wrong Lana?,"
"Just thinking I haven't had a good birthday since my parents took me to a drive in movie when i was three years old,"
""Sounds like they gave you a great birthday," Clark replied before turning sharply at the sound of a weird noise.
"What's wrong Clark?,"
"You didn't hear that?,"
"Hear what?,"
"I don't know what it was," Clark replied standing up and heading toward the area he heard the sound in.
Arriving at the boiler room Clark turned to Lana.
"Stay here just in case and have your phone ready,"
"Ok Clark," Lana replied stepping away from the doorway as Clark entered the boiler room.
Making his way in further into the boiler room Clark was stunned as he found Dustin on the floor in bad shape.
"Call 911 Lana hurry," Clark called out to her as he picked Dustin up and carried him outside into the fresh air away from the fumes in the boiler room.
The paramedics arrived thirty minutes later and took Dustin away on a stretcher.
"According to the paramedics Dustin is in a coma apparently from the loss of too much body fat," Chloe said as she made her way to where Clark and Lana stood now joined by Pete and Angela.
"It's good you found him Clark or he could have died," Lana said placing her hand on his arm.
"Ya its good he found him, its also mostly luck that whoever or whatever did it had the sense to stop," Angela replied before briskly walking away.
That Evening
Chloe smiled as she discussed her wall of weird with Lex happy to have another person interested in her theories.
"Where's Angela I'm surprised she isn't here talking about this with us,"
"Angela is currently upstairs resting she wanted to have enough rest for the trip to Metropolis that we plan to leave for in, oh twenty minutes," Lex said looking at his watch.
"I will take off then Lex you two enjoy your evening together,"
"Thank you Chloe enjoy the birthday party, and here give this to Lana," Lex replied handing Chloe a envelope with Lana's name written on the front of it.
As Chloe left Lex made his way upstairs to their bedroom. Entering he couldn't help but smile at the cute scene of Angela curled up on their bed. Making his way over Lex gently sat down on the edge of the bed reaching over brushing hair off of Angela's face.
"Wake up love we have to leave soon,"
"Mm ok Lex," Angela smiled as she leaned up placing a kiss on his cheek before heading into the bathroom to wash up and to get dressed.
Lex headed back downstairs and made sure the helicopter landed in the backyard before grabbing their overnight bags and handing them to the pilot's assistant who had come over to help them with any bags they had as Angela came downstairs.
Turning Lex was stunned quiet seeing Angela all dressed up for their evening in Metropolis. He thought she looked beautiful with her ebony hair swept up into a bun with loose hair hanging below it, a strapless red dress that hugged her curves, small matching red gloves, and her ring he gave her the only jewelry on her was her ring, a single set of gold dangling earrings, and the sapphire necklace he had also bought her.
Walking towards him the only sounds that came from Angela was the click of her heels on her knee high red boots, and the slight jingle of the earrings she wore.
"You look beautiful my love,"
"Thank you Lex shall we go," smiling Lex held out his arm and they made their way to the helicopter heading to Metropolis.
Clark
Clark stood in front of his mirror in his loft as he got ready for Lana's party when he heard footsteps come up the stairs.
"Hey Clark,"
"Hey Chloe what are you doing here early?,"
"Take a look at this it's paperwork for Jodi's car being detailed with bodywork that means she hit something,"
"What does that mean?,"
"Means she must have hit the deer, her recent behavior must come from her rapid weight loss lately,"
"Um, Chloe Pete is suppose to go pick her up as we speak to take her to the party,"
"Oh no Clark," together they shared a worried look about their closest friend.
Lex and Angela
Arriving to the penthouse in Metropolis Lex and Angela made their way downstairs in the elevator as the assistant took their over night bags into the foyer of their penthouse.
Reaching the ground floor of the building Lex took Angela's arm in his and led her to the limo waiting outside for them.
Sliding into the limo Angela couldn't help but smile at the wonderful time she was having with Lex so far.
"Thank you for this Lex,"
"Anything for you Angel," smiling Lex leaned over placing a light kiss upon her lips as the limo drove to the restaurant.
Cuddling together in the limo Angela sighed happily as the limo stopped. The door opened and Lex stepped out first placing his hand out for Angela to take as she exited the limo as well.
Making their way into the restaurant the waiter nodded to Lex and led them to the private table set up in the back privately away from seeing eyes.
Pulling the chair out for Angela Lex smiled as she sat and placed her hand back into Lex's as he took the seat across from her. Sharing a look of love Angela knew this was a future she could get use to with Lex.
Clark
Clark arrived too late to Jodi's house he unfortunately found Pete knocked out upon the floor as he saw Jodi run out the back door.
Following her he was unaware they had entered the meteor rock filled area that she used for gardening.
"You shouldn't had followed me Clark, I never wanted to hurt Pete but I can't control this uncontrollable appetite,"
"You're being poisoned by this rocks Jodi that's why," Clark responded.
"No!," Jodi lashed out in anger as she turned quickly grabbing a shovel spinning back cracking Clark up side the head with the shovel.
Going for the death blow on Clark Jodi paused catching sight of herself in the the reflection of the glass of the shed. Turning her head repulsed she quickly begins taking her anger out on the shed instead.
Hitting everything possible with the shovel from gas lines, to the lights which causes sparks igniting the gas causing the start of a explosion.
Clark quickly shielded Jodi as the explosion started as the meteor rocks were destroyed he kept her protected from the blast.
Standing up from the blast Clark bent down picking Jodi up bridal style and stepped out of the debris closer to the house making it just as Pete joined them rubbing his head.
"Hey Clark are you two ok?,"
"Yea Pete, Jodi is knocked out and I'm a little tore up clothing wise but we're ok," Clark replied as Pete nodded pulling out his cell phone and calling 911.
As the paramedics took Jodi away and checked on Pete's head injury Clark was actually quite happy Angela wasn't here to go through this one, or what was going on at the mansion that Lex let Lana use for the party.
Angela and Lex
Laughing together over a joke Lex had made in the limo on the way back to the penthouse they entered the penthouse tiredly.
"Why don't you go change love while I get us something to drink," Lex said pushing Angela gently towards the bedroom.
Nodding Angela made her way to the bedroom and stopped stunned in the doorway at the scene in front of her. The bed was covered in rose petals, a plate of chocolate covered strawberries sat on the night table, a bottle of sparkling cider on the second night stand.
Turning Angela smiled at Lex who had stepped up behind her as she stood in the doorway looking at the bedroom.
"Wanted tonight to be special for you,"
"Oh Lex it already was by just being with you,"
"Well I wanted it to be more special," smiling at Lex as he said that Angela leaned in kissing him romantically.
Placing his hands on her arms Lex gently led her backwards into the room towards the bed. As they made it to the bed Lex lowered Angela so she sat upon the black silk bed spread. Moving his hands up he pulled a pin from Angela's hair releasing it letting it cascade down her back.
Angela's hands came up running them over Lex's clothed chest as they kissed sliding them upwards under the lapels of the coat slowly pushing it off Lex's shoulders.
Lex shrugged the jacket off and tossed it aside not caring where it landed. Then broke the kiss moving his lips down Angela's neck making her moan lightly in pleasure. Reaching behind her Lex slowly pulled the zipper of Angela's dress down as his lips made their way down and across the top of her chest.
Angela shivered in pleasure as Lex kissed her body reaching up as he did slowly unbuttoning his dress shirt as he worked on her outfit of the evening.
As she got his shirt fully unbuttoned Lex stood yanking the shirt off and tossing it aside like he did with his dinner jacket.
With a look of lust in his eye Lex bent down sliding his hands behind her back taking hold of the red dress slowly pulling it down and off Angela's body.
Laying back on the bed as Lex removed her dress Angela quickly removed her gloves tossing them aside and quickly placing her ring back on her hand.
Standing up Lex took a deep breath stopping to look at Angela.
"Angel, before we go any further are you sure of this tonight, of where it will go?,"
"Yes Lex I'm quite sure," Angela replied smiling happily up at Lex.
His eyes traveled over Angela's naked waiting body as he quickly undid his trousers stripping them off tossing them aside leaving himself in his silk boxers.
Bending down Lex began to kiss Angela's lips passionately again helping to slide up on the bed as he followed.
Laying on the bed together Lex's hands traveled over Angela's body making her skin tingle in heat. Reaching up behind her Lex unclasped her bra pulling it over her body tossing it aside with the rest of their clothes.
Leaning down Lex placed kisses upon each inch of Angela's skin making her tremble in pleasure with each well placed kiss.
Moving his hands down he slipped his fingers under the waist band of her panties and pulled them down following the trail kissing down her stomach, and then along the inside of her thighs.
Looking up into her pleasure filled eyes Lex moved back up her body sliding his boxers off as he went. Reaching over to the night stand he removed a condom from the drawer and quickly put it on.
"Are you sure about this Angel?," Lex asked one final time to be sure.
Nodding in answer Lex placed his hands on her hips and slowly and sensually slid into her awaiting body.
An hour later Lex laid against the silk sheets with Angela curled up on his chest. Tonight they cemented their love in the one way that was more intimate then any they could possibly do.
He knew it had been her first time and he hoped it was everything she dreamed of and more. She deserved this to be wined and dined and shown romance, treated like a queen. Like the queen of his heart.
This was who he was meant to be with whatever it was that led him to live in Smallville he thanked everything from fate to god that it led him to his Angel. Pulling her closer Lex relaxed closing his eyes joining Angela in a peaceful sleep.
