Kates POV
My alarm went off, waking me up from my deep sleep. I realized immediately that I couldn't move to turn it off though. It didn't take long for me to figure out why though. I found myself in Rick's embrace from last night. He was pretty much pulling me into a hug with his arms around my back. With the combination of my alarm and my slight squirming though I woke him up by mistake. He stirred for a second or two before locking eyes with me. I giggled as we did so.
"Morning" I giggled. He giggled back before saying the same thing back to me.
"Morning" he said before pulling my head in for a kiss. He ended up kissing my forehead but that's not what I wanted. I smiled at him slightly and then turned to my phone to turn my alarm off. After which I turned back to him and gave his lips a smooch. At first he seemed surprised but after a second or two he seemed to relax back into the bed. Yep. This is how I wanted to spend my morning from now on. I broke the kiss with a wet smack and looked into his eyes again.
"If you're still tired you can go back to sleep you know, i can take Angel to school" i offered. Rick laughed lightly.
"Now that would be awkward," he told me.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"Well say someone walks in and instead of seeing you or an empty bed they find my dumb ass" he explained. I snickered and gave him another peck on the lips.
"It's up to you, really," I said before getting out of bed and stretching. I guess he wasn't taking me up on my offer though because he got out of the bed with me. He followed me out to the bathroom where he had to pick another toothbrush. "No orange one this time" I said on the count that he used it. He picked blue and put toothpaste on it before he started brushing. I put the pack back in the closet and then grabbed my toothbrush and started doing the same. Once we were done I spit out the tooth paste and eyed Rick again. "You're gonna have to get your own tooth brush here" I said with a smile. The thought of him being over enough to need his own tooth brush here brought me joy.
"Maybe" he said. I giggled before giving him another wet kiss.
"I have to pee," I whispered to him. He laughed as he put the toothbrush in his pocket and walked out of the bathroom. I shut the door behind him before turning to the toilet and doing my business. I also took a quick shower. After which I dried off and walked into my room to pick out an outfit. Part of me wanted Rick to be in there so that I could tease him but he wasn't. I dropped the towel and ended up picking out navy blue jeans, a dark green button up, and my brown boots once again. I checked myself in the mirror to see if I looked okay. I was satisfied enough so I fixed my hair real fast and headed downstairs to meet the trio.
Reaching the bottom of the steps I saw Rick leaning against the dining room wall while Angel and Lilly sat at the table eating cereal. They were talking about the upcoming thanksgiving and what our plans were.
"My mom was talking about the idea but i don't know if she messaged your mom yet" Lilly said as i approached the table.
"You guys talking about holiday plans?" I asked as I sat at the table for a brief moment.
"Yeah, Eve thought it would be nice to have my family over since your dad is having his friends' family over" Rick explained. Lilly nodded as Angel ate another spoonful of cereal.
"That sounds like so much fun," I exclaimed.
"Yeah, but would there be enough room for us?" Angel asked.
"Of course, we would probably just have to chill in the basement, we have that entertainment center that we never use" Lilly explained. She was right about never using it. It's not like it wasn't nice either. It was a large flat screen with speakers and an xbox with some games just in case we wanted to play something or watch a dvd, not that we had many. We also had all of our board games down there. I wasn't putting my chess set down there though. It was too damn precious to me for that.
"You guys have an entertainment center?" Angel asked.
"M-hm, I think it would be fun to hang out down there and eat food," Lilly said. Angel nodded before Rick teased her a little..
"You could bring Shaky,'' he said. She flipped him off and we all laughed.
"That's not a bad idea though" Lilly chimed in.
"He has his own family gathering, why would he want to chill with me?" Angel explained.
"Well it's not like he can't come to both of them, why don't you ask him?" I suggested. Angel looked over at Rick.
"Could you ask him?" she asked.
"Nope. it's gotta be you, trust me. He's more likely to show up if you ask him" Rick explained. Angel groaned before going to finish her cowl.
"We should get going, we're gonna be late" Lilly said as she checked her phone and stood up.
"Yeah, I'm ready. You chilling out here?" I asked, turning my attention to Rick before giving him a quick kiss.
"Sorry but no, we can hang out after school though" he said.
"Okay" I said before giving him another ki8ss and turning to the door, and putting on my brown jacket. "Ready Angel?" I asked.
"Yep" she said as she handed her now empty bowl to Lilly. Lilly rolled her eyes as she
took it over to the sink, meanwhile Angel and Rick followed me outside.
"Thanks for taking her" Rick called as me and Angel walked to my car.
"Anytime" I called back. I took my keys out of my pocket and unlocked the car. I hopped in my seat as Angel sat in the back. I then started the car up and turned the heat on.
"So what did you two do last night?" Angel asked. I started laughing.
"You really do have a dirty mind Angel, we didn't do anything. We just went to sleep," I explained.
"Kate? I'm talking about the date" Angel said. I froze with embarrassment. Maybe I had a dirty mind. We made eye contact in the rearview mirror for a couple of seconds before I answered. As I eyed her I saw Lilly come out the front door and lock it as Rick pulled off in his truck.
"We… took Shaky's advice about the outlets, yeah" i said nervously. Angel chuckled as if she planned on me slipping up like that. Just then Lilly sat in the front seat beside me and exhaled.
"Sorry I took so long," she said.
"It's fine" I responded as I put the car in reverse and backed up.
Ricks POV
I can't believe I made out with the love of my life last night. Not only on an actual date with her but in her bed as well. Shell probably want to have sex soon. Oh my God, I don't know if I'm ready for that. What if I can't please her somehow? Or i fuck it up by acting to nervous? Im sure shell be nervous to but… fuck i cant think about it. The more I do the worse it will get. Maybe I should just… do the right thing when the time comes and show her how much i love her by making it to her. I can only hope.
I pulled into my driveway and stepped out after a silent ride with nothing but my music to keep me company. As I stepped inside I saw my mother making her morning coffee.
"Hey" she greeted me as I stepped into the kitchen.
"Hey, " I said as I reached for an apple and took a bite out of it.
"When were you gonna tell me that you and Kate finally got together?" she asked as she put coffee creamer in her cup. I laughed briefly as I leaned against the kitchen counter.
"Now" I said. She glanced at me quickly and smiled before turning back to her coffee and stirring it.
"You two kiss yet?" she asked. I just stared at her with a concerned expression. She turned to face me slightly again with a pack of sugar in her hands.
"Really?" I asked. She nodded as she kept the same expression on her face. Wide eyed and alert. She was really curious.
"Yeah" I said. She smiled as she tore open the small packet and dumped it in her coffee cup. She stirred it quickly and then sipped the spoon before tossing it in the sink and putting a lid on her cup.
"We'll have to talk soon," she said, rubbing my arm. Was she talking about sex? "For now I wanted to tell you that we're probably going to have Thanksgiving over there, they're having a big thing and I thought since you and Kate are dating now, you'd want to spend time over there so this way you won't have to choose" she explained.
"We talked about that at Kates but… thanks for telling me" I said. She nodded before giving my cheek a kiss.
"I love you, you know that right?' she said. I nodded.
"I love you too Mom" I said. She rubbed my arm again.
"You're just growing up so fast, you and your sister," she cracked. She looked up at me to reveal tears in her eyes. I gave her a hug.
"I'll always love you," I said.
"There was always gonna be another woman that replaced me, I'm just glad it was her" she said. I didn't know what to say, so I said nothing. I patted her back before breaking the hug. "I have to go to work, we'll talk later okay?' she said. I nodded. She gave my cheek a quick rub before heading out the door. I heard it lock as I took another bite out of the apple. I then set it on the counter for later and walked into the living room. I laid down on the couch and closed my eyes for a nap.
Angels POV
At lunch I did my usual and sat next to Shaky. I say usual but he only just started sitting with me this week. It happened when I caught him in line. I asked him if he would like to sit with me and everyone else at the table. I thought it made sense given how there were five of us, all seemingly couples and there was an empty spot just waiting to be taken. I thought that Shaky would be the best fit. He said yes and I played it cool but inside I was screaming. Screaming with joy that I had pulled off something as simple as asking someone to sit at a lunch table. Since then he sat next to me everyday at the table.
"So Shaky… I wanted to ask you something," I started.
"Sure Angel what's up?" he said as he opened up his salad and started mixing it up.
"What are you doing this thanksgiving?" I asked. He stopped mixing his salad and sat there for a second before mixing it again.
"Probably chilling with my family, why?" he said before taking a bite of his salad.
"Well… Kate and Lilly's parents are having a huge thing with multiple families and i wanted to know if you wanted to stop by" i explained. He turned to me as he chewed and nodded. Once he swallowed, he said.
"Yeah, I'd love to," I smiled before pushing my luck.
"Hey… you know i… don't have your number," I said. Shaky took another bite of his food and then motioned for me to hand him my phone. I did so and he swiped over to the contacts and created one for himself. Afterwards he sent himself a text and handed me back the phone. "Thank you," I said. Shaky smiled as he took his phone out and used the message he had sent to himself to obtain my number and make me a contact.
"I don't know when they're going to eat but I'll most likely be around at four" he told me. I nodded as I went to eat as well. Maybe he would want to date me, hopefully Rick was right in terms of him not turning me down. But he's seventeen and a whole two grades ahead of me. I hope Rick is right. I'll ask him out eventually but right now, his number is enough. Thanksgiving is in two days so maybe i'll take Lilly up on her offer soon so that i could possibly make a move on Shaky at the get together. I turned to my left to see that Lilly and Humphrey were just eating, not talking to each other. I tapped on Lillys shoulder to get her attention. She turned to me and I motioned with my finger for her to lean close. She put her ear to my muzzle and i told her,
"I might take you up on the offer. Is tonight okay?" I asked. She leaned back and nodded simply. "Thanks" I said as Kate sat down.
"Hey Kate, Angels gonna ride back with us" Lilly said.
"Alright" Kate said. Well that did it. Now I was locked in to Lillys offer and I would only make it more awkward if I backed out.
After school I sat in the back of Kate's car as Lilly sat up front.
"You're not riding with Humphrey?" Kate asked.
"No, he said he'd follow us, I think he's asking his mom about thanksgiving" Lilly answered.
"Alright" Kate said as she started the car. My heart was pounding hard as I thought about how this might go. I'm not so sure why I was so nervous. Probably because of how bizarre the whole situation was.
"So Kate, when do you plan on getting your cherry popped?" Lilly asked. Kate shot a glance over to her and back to the windshield.
"Why… Do you care?" Kate said.
"Come on, you knew this question would come, you even said it yourself" Lilly explained. Kate gave her a confused look. "When you caught me and Humphrey" Lilly reminded.
"Wait, you walked in on them?" I asked.
"What? No, I heard them" Kate said.
"She listened," Lilly teased as she turned to face me somewhat.
"Lilly. Losing my virginity isn't something I'm planning. Like the whole dating situation it happens when it happens, and honestly it would be a lot better for me if you didnt pester me about it '' Kate ranted. Lilly threw her hands up as if she was surrendering.
"Fine i won't ask, but when it happens you better tell me about it" she said. Kate scoffed.
"You know I will," Kate said. I kind of wanted to know too. Although I already told Rick about this that morning in the bathroom.
"When did you get your cherry popped Lils?" I asked. Lilly seemed to freeze up when I asked my question. Kate looked over at her again. This time with a smile.
"Humphrey and I… about three weeks into our relationship we were at his house by ourselves and…" she explained nervously, not finishing.
"So when you were around fourteen" Kate said.
"Uh-huh" Lilly responded shyly.
"Thot," I joked. Lilly face palmed as Kate and I laughed.
When we got to their house, Kate parked and we all stepped out. Lilly was the first to the door so she ended up unlocking it.
"Kate, me and Angel are gonna head upstairs, just send Humphrey up when he gets here" Lilly instructed.
"Alright" Kate said as she made her way to the living room. Lilly motioned with her head to follow her up the steps so I did. We walked into her room and we both sat down on the bed.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Lilly asked.
"Yeah," I said quietly. Lilly nodded.
"Humphrey will be here any second so he might have to know" she told me.
"I figured," I said. Just then we heard the door open and Humphrey saying hi to Kate. she said hi back and told him we were upstairs. Next thing we heard were footsteps coming up the stairs. We waited for Humphrey to enter the room. When he did he stood awkwardly in the doorway.
"What's this?" he asked.
"Shut the door Humphrey" Lilly said. He did as he was told and sat down next to her on the bed. "So Angel is going to ask Shaky out" Lilly explained.
"That's great" Humphrey said. I chuckled nervously as i looked away from him and
rubbed my arm.
"What's wrong?" Humphrey asked me.
"Well… just hear me out" Lilly began to explain. "We all know that Shakys had experience with girls before and Angel doesn't want to feel like she's slowing him down. So me and her thought of a deal to help her… with her first kiss" Lilly finished.
"Help her? How the hell you gonna do that?" Humphrey asked, looking between the two of us.
"Take your shoes off Angie" Lilly said as she did so. I complied and did as I was told. Lilly then climbed further onto the bed. I did the same, making sure I was next to her.
"Oh you are shitting me" Humphrey said as he got up and locked the bedroom door.
"Shh," Lilly said to Humphrey before she turned back to me. "Now Angel… Do you trust me?" she asked.
"I… trust you" I said. Lilly cupped my cheek and leaned in.
"Good, we're gonna start off small okay?" she said as our noses were almost touching, remember it's just practice, just practice. I'm doing this for Shaky.
"Okay" I whispered nervously.
"Okay" Lilly said again. She then brought my face in and slowly our lips met. Her lips were so small and warm. I raised my hand slightly and cupped her cheek with it as she did the same to me. Our lips parted with a light smack sound, a little bit of saliva connecting our lips for a second.
"Oh my God" Humphrey laughed. I turned to see him trying to hide his smile with his hand but failing miserably. My cheeks grew bright red as I began to feel terrified. Terrified that I just made a fool of myself.
"Humphrey shut up," Lilly said seriously. I think she caught on that I was starting to feel uncomfortable. "It's that easy," Lilly said, turning back to me. "Again" she said before pulling me into another kiss. I breathed softly out of my nose as she did it. I was trying to relax but knowing that Humphrey was right there watching. It just felt… wrong. Our lips parted again. "You okay?" she asked.
"Yeah" I said hesitantly. She rubbed my cheek with her thumb.
"Were gonna go a little further okay?" she said. Oh no i don't know if i was ready for this.
"O-okay" I said.
"We can stop if you want," Lilly offered.
"No, Lilly, I'm fine. Really," I said. Lilly nodded before leaning in for another kiss. This time though when our lips met she opened her mouth a little bit. I returned the favor and did the same. Seconds later our tongues met. I moaned softly. Not from pleasure though, it was from being surprised. Lillys tongue was so smooth and moist. Call it childish but her saliva tastes like strawberry gummy. Lilly broke this kiss momentarily.
"Put your arms around me" she said before going back in. I did as I was told and started rubbing her hair. Now this felt right, by this point I had totally forgotten about Humphrey and was just in the moment. It took everything I had not to just pull Lilly on top of me. The tension in the room was getting thicker and thicker. We broke the kiss and Lilly looked at me.
"Am i okay?" I asked.
"You're doing great, just remember to suck up as much saliva as you can when you pull away so that it doesn't go everywhere" she suggested. I nodded before looking back at Humphrey. "You okay over there?' Lilly asked him.
"Oh I'm fine," Humphrey said.
"Good. because now I want you to do what I just did," Lilly said, taking us both by shock.
"What?" we both yelled out.
"Shaky isnt a girl you know, kissing him is gonna feel, look, and taste different. If you really want to get used to it then I'll allow you to kiss my boyfriend" she said. Now this was kind of fucked up.
"Lilly… I don't know about this" Humphrey said. Lilly took his hand and brought him over to the bed.
"Take your shoes off," Lilly said. Humphrey shot a glance over at me. We made eye contact as if we were asking permission to do this with one another. "Come on Humph, are you saying she is not attractive?" Lilly pushed.
"What? No. i'm not saying that at-"
"Then take your shoes off" Lilly said, cutting him off. Humphrey shot another look at me before taking his shoes off. He then climbed onto the bed next to me.
"Angel… are you okay with this?" Humphrey asked. I nodded nervously as my cheeks were burning hot. My usual grey fur burning a bright red. Humphrey turned to Lilly and just stared at her, to which Lilly gave him a quick kiss.
"It's okay, really," Lilly said. Humphrey then turned to me once again. I put my hand to his face and rubbed his cheek.
"Humphrey" I said in a choked whisper. Humphrey then gently leaned in and started rubbing my face as well. Our lips then met. Unlike Lilly how ever Humphrey went straight for tongue. Lilly was right, it did feel and taste different. His muzzle felt twice my size while the taste was more masculine than sweet. It tasted like how cologne smells if that makes sense. I enjoyed the feeling of his larger tongue overpowering mine as it licked all around it. This time I couldn't help it. I pulled Humphrey on top of me. I heard Lilly giggle as Humphrey yelped in surprise into the kiss. I used Lillys pillow as leverage to get my mouth right where it needed to be without using my neck too much. I rubbed behind his ears as I continued to lick at his tongue. He started doing the same with his right hand as he used his left to raise my leg and put it around his back. I moaned into the kiss again as he did so. I'm not sure if this was part of the lesson anymore. I then used my right hand to rub his back as I continued to use my left to rub his ear.
"You learn fast Angie" Lilly teased as she sat besides me and Humphrey. We broke the kiss with a loud smack. This time I took Lillys advice in cleaning up the saliva and she was right. There was almost none that oozed out once we were done.
"Yeah you do, i think you're ready" Humphrey breathed before suckling at my neck gently. Okay i think he was enjoying this a little too much. I giggle at the feeling of his tongue on my neck. It tickled me.
"Thanks guys' ' I said. Yes this event was weird and fucked up, but i enjoyed it, and while my first kiss wouldn't be with Shaky anymore, at least i could have a small amount of experience by my side if it finally happened.
"Anytime Angie, and you know if your really comfortable with it, me and Humphrey can give you sex lessons. Get that vag nice and ready" Lilly said causing me and Humphrey to look at her in absolute shock. This girl is a fucking menace. "Just give it a thought" she said as she got off the bed and walked out into the hall. As she did, Humphrey got off of me and rolled over to the other side of the bed. I cleared my throat so that there was some type of noise other than the awkward silence that just filled the room.
"Angel… I'd understand if this was more than enough" Humphrey said. I sat and thought about the whole situation. Would it really be that bad to have some sexual experience as well? Eh, fuck it. I giggled before leaning on my arm and looking down at Humphrey as he rested his head on the pillow. I took a risk and gave his lips a small kiss.
"What and pass up a night of fun? Why would I do that?" I said. Humphrey chuckled and kissed me again. I'm not letting this become a three way relationship, but I just want to experience things before hopping into other things that I can't turn back from. What if me and Shaky started having sex and i had no fucking clue what i was doing? Now that is something i want to avoid like the fucking pleauge. I broke the kiss and got up.
"We'll plan something out," Humphrey said to me as I walked to the door.
"Okay" I smiled as I stepped out and walked down the stairs to meet Lilly. Maybe she went for a bottle of water or something. I sure as shit needed one.
