So…. I got some Upsetting news, good news, and some…. Questionable news…
First up out of the way, I'm Still going to Do This Fic, that hasn't changed, as I can proudly say that at the very least; I made it PAST the Kamoshida Arc with this Fic. As for the …. Prolonged hiatus, that was mainly because of Both Work and…. D&D… Not to worry, this won't hinder me as much anymore, though I still have to address the issue…. I'm not "technically" going to post this fic anymore…. WAIT A MINUTE!
What I mean is, I'm rewriting this fic from the ground up, with better grammar (hopefully), a ew changed plot points, and longer stuff to fill up the chapters, and I'm using this as a template since it carries the baseline for what I was doing…
Now that the upsetting news is out of the way, Good news: I'm NOT DEAD, this FIC isn't DEAD, and I shall continue it… I have decided to transition over to Ao3 where I'll work on this back to back with a Black Clover fic series I'm doing on the side. Why you may ask… one, and I say one reason only; I can post art in the chapters. I don't know how yet, but when I do, it'll give me incentive to actually draw out the scenes in the fic. Once I catch up to here (around 13-14 chapters) I'll Post the revision here whilst keeping the old one up and active (a sort of nod to the old version) and I'll update both when new chapters come out.
Rest assured, there will be more to come!
Now for the… Questionable news: I'm doing some changes to the story, and I require some help on that. I have a few questions for you readers on what to keep and what to throw out. Various things such as the Daily quest side note are going in the trash, while certain plot lines will stay, albeit with some changes, such as the P4 tie in plotline. However, here are a few questions that I'd like some input on:
- Should I keep Mishima and Shiho as Phantom thieves? I wrote this shit years ago, and since then, Royal AND Scramble came out, giving a whopping 4 GODDAMN Members total, and I was wondering if those two will even fit with the extended cast.
- IF I do keep them in, what would be some good story arcs for the two, I know they have their own mini arcs in game, and I kind of had something going for Mishima, but I feel like that could have some room for improvement… any suggestions for how they can be fleshed out as more than just "Support NPCS?"
-Any ideas for a better name than Persona 5 Redux+?
- The Adult cast knowing each other and them having a previous adventure together is HAPPENING, that part's non-negotiable, but Should I change some things on that? Give them some quirks? add a member or two for this group? because so far the group consists of Sojiro, Kawakami, Tae, Ohya, Omaeda, Iwai and Later on Sae as the late edition
-should I do Social link stuff? I originally took them out because i believe that would've put in too much filler, but now i'm on the fence about doing it anyways because of the potential ways I could fuck with it., same goes for the skit chapters. I only did 1 chapter of it, but I like that idea to keep that in, but I'm running a blank on ideas for these little filler chapters, so ideas for that would be lovely…
- and lastly, any pairing ideas for a few other characters? I already decided on Akira/Arata going the Harem route, that's sailed, and I got a personal ship for Ryuji, but are there any other side pairings that I should hear about?
Apologies for this, but At the very least, I'll be keeping an eye on this fic a bit more down the line since I actually have some free time to do so, so with feedback, I'll be able to continue from where I left off…. I'll keep this fic up here as a testament to how invested I was and STILL am interested in this series…. And potentially my other fics as well (looks to my Rwby, Blazblue and Akame ga kill fics)
