Ricks POV
Yesterday was great but long. Me and Angel didn't say a word on the drive back. I wanted to tell her that i was proud of her, happy for her and Shaky. But I didn't end up saying anything. I was too busy trying to keep my eyes open. When we arrived home i took a shower while Angel just went to sleep. I don't know how she did it. As I stepped out Kate texted me asking to come over tomorrow. I accepted and climbed into bed. It felt cold by myself as always. Not like when i was with Kate. she was so soft and warm. Holy shit i love her. We said our goodnight before i trend over and went to sleep.
The next morning I woke up slowly as usual. After I finally found the energy to get out of bed I stretched and went to the bathroom. Afterwards I went down the stairs to see Angel watching cartoons. Watching was an over statement though because she was on her phone doing whatever.
"Hey" she said as she was biting her thumb.
"Hey" I said back as I passed the TV to get into the dining room that led to the kitchen. I put a toaster strudel in and grabbed one of Angels Hi-Cs as I waited. Once it popped out of the toaster I grabbed it with a napkin and headed back into the living room where I sat next to Angel on the couch. Angel did a double take between me and her phone.
"Is that one of my juices?" she asked.
"Its a fucking juice box" i said making her laugh.
"You know I don't care if you have one" she said as she went back to her phone.
"Texting Shaky?" I asked. Angel turned to me.
"No, I don't think he's up yet," she said. I rubbed her arm momentarily before turning back to the TV.
"I'm so happy for you two," I told her. I saw her smile as she continued playing on her phone."so… tell me… how did it happen?" I asked. Angel looked up and over to me.
"Well… I showed him to one of the coolers outside and asked to talk to him. We got to the gazebo and I told him how I felt, or tried to anyway." she started explaining.
"Were you nervous?" I asked.
"I was… i really was" Angel said as she laid back and looked up at the ceiling. "I actually didn't even tell him. He just kind of pieced it together and kissed me" Angel finished.
"He… kissed YOU?" I asked. Angel nodded.
"Yeah, why? What's wrong with that?' she asked.
"Nothing," I said. Immediately after, I said that my phone started ringing. I fumbled around in my pockets as I pulled it out and checked to see who it was. The caller I.D. read Kate so i immediately swiped answer and put the phone to my ear. "Hey" I said happily. It was always so good to talk to her.
"Hey, you still want to come over today?" Kate asked.
"Yeah. What time did you want to hang out?" i asked back.
"Uhh how soon would you want to come over?" Kate questioned.
"I don't care," I said.
"Want to meet up in say… half an hour?" Kate suggested. I took the phone from my ear to check the time. It read 12:43 i put the phone back to my ear.
"Yeah. your place?" I asked. I heard Kate giggle over the phone before she answered.
"Yeah. my place" she said.
"Alright. See ya soon" `I said. I always hated saying goodbye to her.
"Sounds good. Love you" she said.
"I love you too" I said back right before I hung up the phone and put it in my pocket.
"Kate?" Angel asked.
"Yep '' I said as I took the last bite of my strudel and stood up. Angel then acted like she was sucking on a dick. Using her tongue to make it look like there was something there. I laughed as I smacked her leg playfully. She laughed back.
"Have fun big bro" she said.
"What are you gonna do?" I asked.
"Me, Shaky, date" she said. I nodded as I chuckled and went up the stairs. Once I reached my room I put on a tan button up, black jeans, brown shoes, and a watch. I sprayed some cologne and headed out for the day. Once I reached the bottom of the steps I took another look at Angel.
"Not sure when i'll be back, just message me if you need anything" i said. Angel nodded. "Alright, i love you" i said.
"I love you too big bro" she said. I nodded once and stepped out. Walking through multiple rooms until I was outside. As I walked to my truck I realized it was freezing. So much so that when I hopped in my truck and turned it on along with the heat, I took a moment to look at the temperature. Fifteen degrees fahrenheit. I shivered as I looked at the numbers on my screen. I rubbed my hands together and backed up on to the main street and drove off over to Kates.
I listened to my music on the way there. It helped the time go by faster. Every second i wasnt with Kate it felt like an eternity in hell. As I pulled into Kate's driveway I saw that only her car was there. This wasn't unusual due to the fact that her parents seemed to work as much as mine did. It was a real shame. I stepped out of my truck and walked over to the front door. I knocked three times and waited. After about five seconds I heard the door unlock before it opened, revealing the love of my life. She was wearing a pink crop top that showed off her cute lower belly, with light blue jeans. She looked stunning.
"Hey" she said smiling as she held the door open. I smiled as I stepped inside. Kate shut the door behind me as I took in the smell of her house. Always smelled like good cooking. Especially after yesterday.
"Holy fuck its cold out-" i began to say but Kate cut me off with a kiss. Long and wet. Once our lips parted she exhaled.
"I've missed you," she said. I laughed. We always missed each other even though it had been less than fifteen hours since we last saw each other.
"believe me Kate. I've missed you too," I said. Kate giggled as she started walking over to the kitchen.
"Thirsty?" she asked.
"I'll take a water" I said. Kate dug in her fridge and pulled out a bottle of water and tossed it to me. I caught it and opened it up and proceeded to take a sip. "Thanks" i said as i twisted the cap back on. Kate walked back over to me and giggled as she put her arms around me and gave me another kiss.
"Anything for you," she said. Her eyes darted back up to mine and my God were they pretty. I gave her another kiss and then she took my free hand and walked me into the living room. I sat down beside her and she cuddled up to me.
"So what did you want to do?" I asked as I pet her hand. Kate looked up and to the side as she thought for a moment. Finally she looked back at me with a smile.
"I think I just want to be with you, we don't have to do anything crazy," she said.
"Sounds good to me" I said as I kissed the top of her head. Kate sighed as she relaxed into then lifted her head up and turned around so that she was laying on top of me. She gave me a kiss and looked into my eyes again afterward. We just sat there taking in the moment before Kate went in for another. Her tongue licked wildly at mine as we tried pushing each others back, battling for dominance. I rubbed at her back as she started dry humping me again. She let out an adorable moan as we kissed. We broke the kiss with another loud smack and panted heavily on each other. As we looked into each other's eyes I looked past her out the glass doors to the backyard to see that it had started snowing.
"What is it?" Kate said as she noticed I was looking past her. She turned around to look outside and gasped in delight. "Oh it's so pretty" she said as she got off of me and jogged over to the door. She put her hand on the glass as she watched the snow fall heavily. "Do you think it'll stick?" Kate asked. I stood by her and looked out into her backyard as well.
"Yeah. it's definitely cold enough" i said. Kate watched the snow fall for a few seconds and then turned to walk over to the coat rack next to the front door. She put on her brown jacket and brown gloves as she walked back over to the sliding door that led to the back porch. I'm glad I didn't take my jacket off. She slid the door open and stepped outside. I followed her and shut the door behind us. Kate looked back at me quickly before turning back to the backyard. She stuck her tongue out and let some snow fall on to it and then licked it up. I laughed at the sight. She looked so cute as she did it. I guess she really likes the snow. Once it starts covering the ground Kate will look so amazing with the background. I might have to take some pictures. Lilly though… I don't think I would be able to even find her if she stepped outside.
Kate turned back around and put her arms around my neck again as she pulled me into another kiss. With Christmas now coming up this felt right. I could only imagine the things we could do together. Yes, I wanted to do things with her like take her to some Christmas festivals, get some hot chocolate and maybe walk around the city. I know there are places that have rides such as a place called Smithville. It's a place made up to look like a small, old timey town, but its actually restaurants and stores. Around christmas time they always made the place look beautiful with lights and decorations, and let's not forget the giant christmas tree they decorate in the middle of the town. It always looks so beautiful. Yeah, I think it would be a great idea to take her there. I would also want to do things with Angel and them as well but Smithville… that was all me and Kate.
"How about we go inside and watch a christmas movie… and if the snow is piled enough we can come back outside and play" Kate said after she broke the kiss. Did she just use the word play? Oh this girl is gonna give me a heart attack she's so cute. I scratched behind her ear before giving her another kiss on the lips.
"That sounds great," I said. Kate giggled and opened up the door, stepping inside. I followed her and again shut the door behind us. Kate took off her gloves and jacket and placed them on the second couch. I guess she really did want to go back outside after. She put them both on the shorter couch giving how we were going to be using the bigger one. We always used the bigger one. She sat down and grabbed the remote, turning on the TV. she opened up disney plus and started scrolling.
"How about home alone 2? We watched the first one and this one is about two hours long. Should give the snow at least a little bit of time to fall" Kate suggested. I looked over my shoulder and out the window. The snow was really coming down. I hope it lasted a while. As I looked I could see the snow starting to stick to the wood of the porch. I turned back around to face Kate.
"Yeah, I love home alone 2. As long as we only stick to the first two though, I'm fine" I said. I then sat down next to Kate who scoffed at what I said.
"Are you kidding me? The other ones are garbage" Kate said. I laughed as she put the movie on. The familiar and nostalgic home alone theme started to play as the signature blue house came into frame. The opening credits started to roll saying the usual names of the actors we loved in the film. Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, anyone who's seen the movie knows who they are. As the camera zoomed away from the house and showed it between the outline of the city Kate picked up the remote and paused the movie. I looked over at her and gave her a look as if I was asking why she paused it. She just looked back and smiled at me.
"Hot chocolate?" she asked. Oh, she's so cute. I started laughing lightly as I thought of how cute she was.
"Yeah, hot chocolate," I said. Kate's tail wagged slightly as she got up and made her way to the kitchen. I followed and went into the fridge for the milk as Kate went for the chocolate powder. I got the milk and set it down on the counter as Kate did the same with the powder. She then reached up into the upper cabinets above the counter to get two mugs and placed them next to the milk. I smiled as I opened up the two powder packets and poured them into the mugs. Kate added the milk to each cup and then I put them in the microwave for two minutes. When the microwave started I leaned back on the counter.
"Glad to see you don't use water," Kate said.
"Ugh," I moaned. "No, I don't use water. I like my hot chocolate with a nice sweet taste" Kate giggled as she leaned on me and looked up. She then gave my lips a quick peck.
"You like sweet tastes huh?" she asked seductively. I could only laugh nervously. Kate responded with another nice long kiss. Speaking of sweet tastes, I could never get enough of kissing her. Her lips were so soft and kissable. I loved the feeling of them against mine. Always so warm and lovable. Her tongue was a whole other story, yes it was sweet, and yes it was also warm. But it was always so wet and slippery. It was everything I dreamed of and more when I was nowhere near being close to her. I never would have imagined I would be here right now. Creating Christmas plans to do with her and kissing her as we waited for our hot chocolates. Or even to go outside and play with her in the snow. I could literally never imagine i would achieve these things because i always stopped thinking about it after i got to the part of talking to her. I even remember when talking to her was rough. The day she asked me for a pencil was only a question that lasted a second or two. 'Hey, can I borrow a pencil?' I remember stumbling as I tried to find a spare one. Giving her oh yeah, sure. I found one and handed it to her. "Thanks," she said. It was a very quick encounter and as weird as it sounds it meant the world to me.
The microwave beeped, snapping us out of our trance. We broke the kiss as Kate looked back. She sighed and gave me another quick kiss before turning to the microwave and opening it. She went to touch one of the mugs but let go as soon as she tapped it.
"Ow" she whispered as she pulled her arm back and started waving her hand lightly. I started to laugh lightly. Kate turned around and joined me. "It's hot" she said as she smiled at me again.
"I bet it is," I said. "Just give it another minute"
"I can do that" she said as she wrapped her arms around me again and kissed me. As usual I accepted it happily. Closing my eyes and enjoying the wet, warm taste that was Kate's kisses. I started rubbing her back again as the kiss deepened. I really hoped her parents wouldn't come home right now. Ner kitchen is right next to the dining room and in the dining room is a small space where the front door sits. If they were to walk in this would be the first thing they saw and I don't think I would have a tongue to kiss with anymore. I wasn't too worried about it though. She handed me the first one and grabbed the other. She then shut the microwave and headed back into the living room. As I walked back in I saw the snow falling. By now the porch was white with light snow as it continued to pile up. I took a sip of the hot chocolate and sat down as I placed the mug on the coffee table in front of me. Kate laid back and pressed play. The movie resumed its opening credits as Kate sipped at her drink. I sat next to her closely but was careful not to touch her so that the drink didn't spill.
Kate took a couple of sips until the cup was half full and then placed her cup on the table next to mine. She then grabbed a blanket that laid on the back of the couch and put it over us as she cuddled up to me. I took my eyes off the screen to smile at her and rub her back. She giggled as she laid down, using my chest as a pillow and taking up the other two couch cushions. We snuggled together in the blanket as we watched the movie. We both took turns taking glances out the window to see if the snow had risen at all. It wasn't deep but half way through the movie the ground was completely covered.
As we watched the movie I couldn't help but wonder what Angel and Shaky were doing. I pulled my phone out and started swiping to Angel's messages.
"Whatcha doin?" Kate asked. I chuckled as I messaged Angel.
"Shaky and Angel went on a date, I want to make sure she's okay," I explained.
"Hm" Kate hummed. She snuggled into me again and continued to watch the movie. I went back to texting Angel.
"Hey. I just wanted to make sure you're okay, the snow coming down hard and the grounds getting covered pretty fast. If the roads are getting slippery I want you to get home." I texted. I hit send and put my phone down. I didn't put it in my pocket in hopes that Angel would get back to me right away. In the meantime I gave Kate a slight back rub as I watched the movie with her. Right now Kevin was setting up traps in the renovated building. It was only a matter of time until the really good part of the movie started. Kate continued to rest on me and her hand laid in front of her face. Her index finger lay just over her upper lip.
My phone vibrated and I immediately pulled my phone up to see the message. It was from Angel and it read. "Yeah. I'm fine, we're actually on our way back now. Wanted to hang out longer but i dont think it's gonna happen. I'll let you know when im home"
"Okay, thanks" I typed. I sent the message and closed my phone. I rubbed on Kate's back again. "You okay?" I asked. Kate looked up to me and smiled.
"Yeah, why?" she questioned.
"Just checking," I said. I gave her lips a quick peck and turned back to the movie. I hope Lilly and Humphrey would be okay coming home in this, not to mention Kate's parents. Maybe I should message Lilly or Humphrey. "Hey Kate?" I called gently.
"Hm?" she hummed.
"You think Lilly and Humphrey will be okay driving in this?" I asked. Kate turned her head and looked at me..
"You don't need to worry about that. Lilly and my parents are at my grandparents until tomorrow" she said before giving me another kiss. My heart sank a little as she said this.
"Do your parents know I'm here?" I asked.
"Yeah" Kate said. "It's fine Rick, really." she assured me. She gave me another kiss and then went back to laying with her head turned to the TV. I tried to watch the rest of the movie without thinking of anything on my mind but I couldn't. Her family was going to be gone until tomorrow? Is this what Eve was hinting at yesterday? I don't want to say that Kate is lying to me about them knowing I'm here, but the possibility is there and that's all I need to make me worry. Actually no, I trust Kate completely. I guess I'm just scared that she's gonna try to make a move. What if i fuck it up? What if I hurt her? Or cum too quick? She's so sexy but… I don't know, maybe it's best to just not think about it. Here's what I'll do. I'll try to avoid the topic, but if she brings it up and tries something I'll have to go with it. I can't disappoint her. I love her, and I want to prove it. Once the credits to the movie started rolling Kate snuggles into my chest one last time before standing up. She stretched and looked out the window.
"Hey. looks like there's enough snow to go outside and have some fun" she said. I turned but didn't look at the window just yet. First I looked at her. She had joy in her face as she smiled and wagged her tail. After taking in the detail I looked over to the window to see the snow still falling heavily.
"Then what are we waiting for?" I asked. Kate jumped in excitement and let out an adorable squeal. She walked quickly over to the coffee table and picked up the remote and turned off the TV. She then started putting on her jacket and gloves again. Meanwhile I shifted my legs over the side of the couch to get up. Before I could though my phone vibrated. I pulled it out of my pocket and read the text as Kate ran outside, leaving the door open for me.
"Home" the text read. Good, I'm glad to see that Angel made it home safe. Hopefully Shaky can do the same.
"Good to hear, thanks for going home. You should have Shaky stay awhile. At least until the snow stops. Just play board games or something" I hit send and waited for a response. The three bubbles popped up indicating that Angel was texting but before I could see the text, Kate called for me.
"Rick, are you coming?" she called.
"Yeah" I called back. I closed the phone, put it in my pocket and stood up. I reached the door and stepped outside into the freezing cold. I shut the door behind me and met Kate on the edge of the porch. She looked at me happily. I smiled back. Kate then giggled happily as she ran down the porch steps and ran over to the center of the back yard. I jigged over to her.
"Not enough to build a snowman just yet. But…" Kate said as she bent over and started balling up some snow. So it's a snowball fight she wants huh? I ran and dove behind the shed. I hear Kate start laughing as she started hunting me. I grabbed a handful of snow and started making it into a ball as I tried to flank her from the other side of the shed. I was trying to listen for her footsteps but she was doing a really good job at being quiet. The cold wind burned my nose so I couldn't smell what direction she was in either. I got ready to turn the corner and throw my snowball. After building the courage and checking behind me to see if she was following, I turned the corner to find her. She wasn't there though. I lowered my hand in confusion. I started looking around but couldn't see her. Odd considering her fur and coat color.
"POOF' I got hit in the head and looked up to see that Kate had climbed on top of the shed roof and hit me from above. I wiped the snow from my head and shook the snow off my hand. I looked up and smiled at her.
"How the hell did you do that without making any noise?" I asked. Kate giggled as she hopped down.
"Upper body strength," she said, walking over to me. Once she reached me she gave me another kiss. This kiss felt good for one more reason now than all the others. Her mouth was so warm compared to the freezing outside. It felt like ice was melting from my mouth as she kissed me. She broke the kiss and looked into my eyes as our noses were just barely touching. "Again" she whispered. She then let go of me and started running for cover. I laughed as I watched the direction she was going. I was gonna get her this time.
Kate hid behind the gazebo. I walked back over to the porch. Making sure to stay low as I walked across it. I didn't want her to know I was up here. I held the same snowball as before. I walked over to the very corner of the porch and looked behind the gazebo from across the yard to see that Kate was waiting for me to come around the opposite corner. She kept checking behind her to make sure I didn't come from the other side but it was no use. Time to snipe this poor girl. I stood up to peek over the railing and threw my snowball in a high arch to make sure it made the distance required to reach her. Turns out I'm a good shot. The snow ball hit Kate's shoulder making her flinch. She turned to my direction to face me. I waved to her from the porch smiling.
"Pussy!" Kate called. I laughed as I hopped over the railing and landed on the ground. Me and Kate walked over to each other and kissed again. "We gotta start keeping score," Kate said. I turned around and kneeled down and wrote my name in the snow. Kate started doing the same, we each put a tally mark under our name before going for round three. This was a lot of fun.
By the end of it Kate ended up winning after ten rounds. She had six points while I had four. "You did good Kate" I complimented.
"Thanks" Kate giggled. We took one last look at our scores before the snow could cover it up. It wouldn't be here long. The snow hadn't let up. Maybe I should have checked the weather to see if it would stop by tonight. As I thought about it Kate drew a heart in between my name and hers. I looked over at her. She looked back and smiled before standing up. "Snowman?" Kate asked as her tail wagged.
"Snowman" I said as I chuckled. There was definitely enough snow now. Kate grabbed my hand and led me back to the middle of the backyard. It was getting a little hard to walk because of how deep it was getting. It was only six inches so far so it wasnt really hard but it was getting noticeable. It wouldt be easy to make a snowman out of this but it was possible.
Me and Kate started rolling up some snow to make the body. "Maybe we should wait until it freezes a little?" I suggested.
"Eh, we can just make a baby," Kate said. Make a baby huh? I'd love to make a baby with her. The sun started going down as we rolled up the snow. I pulled my phone out to check the time. It was 4:42. I still haven't gotten used to the sun going down as early as it did. I was still somehow on that summer schedule where the sun goes down around eight at night. I also saw the text I got from Angel.
"Board games, he says. Sure Rick, board games. Don't wait up" the text read. I panicked a little. Kate must have seen my face because she took a minute to stop rolling the snow and come over to me. She looked at the phone and started laughing after she read the texts. I looked at her quickly and then back at the phone.
"BEHAVE" I typed. I hit send and groaned. "What am I gonna do with her?" I said. Kate giggled as we built our first snow man together. Kate ended up being right. Because of how much snow we had to work with, the snowman only reached up to our upper legs. It was cute. "We'll build a bigger one later once the snow piles up more" I said. Kate gave me another kiss.
"Okay" she said. "Want to go in for a bit?" she asked. I couldn't say yes faster. I had fun outside but it was so fucking cold. I really wanted to go inside to warm up. We stepped inside and the heat of the house felt so good. Me and Kate took our shoes off at the door and left them there for the snow to melt. Kate went and put her jacket and gloves back on the coat rack. I took mine off and laid it on the couch before I hopped onto the couch and snuggled into the blanket that Kate left sprawled out. Kate walked over and looked down at me. She smiled as she took in the sight of me. "Make room" she said as she went to lift the blanket. I did so and she crawled on top of me again. Her fur was a little cold but with our bodies together and the blanket over us as the heat continued on it would warm up real quick. I rubbed her back to pull her closer. She was my extra blanket right now.
With the warmth of her though and the tight space between us made me… excited. I felt myself start to grow against Kate's leg. Oh fuck. Kate gasped from the feeling. She then locked eyes with me. I felt like I was going to die.

Making sure to turn off the light along the way, we were blind for a second before Kate found the light switch to the stairs. She flicked it on and together we walked up the steps to go to her bedroom.
Lillys POV
"You do plan on coming over for Christmas don't you?" my grandmother asked. She was so nice but so touchy. I loved her so much, she always spoiled me and my sister.
"Yeah, you know I always come over for Christmas," I said. I was sitting on the couch in between my mom and dad. My grandmother sat in her recliner while my grandad sat on his own. When Kate was here last time I had to sit on the floor because their living room was only big enough for the one couch and two chairs with a coffee table in the center. A small table sat in between the two chairs with a lamp on it so a third chair or second couch was highly unlikely.
"Hopefully your sister joins us," grandma said. My grandpa was too busy watching TV to be invested in the conversation.
"I still don't get why you insisted on Kate staying home," my dad said. My mom avoided eye contact as he asked her. She had done this all day whenever he brought it up. If we were not in such a rush this morning, he most likely would have asked Kate herself.
"I told you not to worry about it," mom said. She had worry in her voice and I couldn't help but feel worried myself. She was definitely hiding something, and I wasn't the only one who felt it.
