Ask C (Almost) Anything: The Remake

Far away in the amazon jungle at night, there was a group of birds and other animals together sitting in what looked like an outdoor studio. They were sitting in chairs, silently chatting and stopped when lights over on a stage turned on, and the audience saw a young blue macaw girl above it.

She cried out with a cheerful tone, asking if they wanted to see a show. They all cheered back, saying yes, and the girl introduced herself. Her name was Carla, and she told the audience to get ready for the show, which was a live Q&A series with their star…CR34T0R the Blue Macaw.

Carla pointed to one side of the stage, and in the next spotlight was C, shyly waving at the audience. He wore a black suit, cape, and hood. With a bright C symbol on his chest too, and his appearance appeared to be impressive to everyone's eyes.

Then he came over to Carla, shaking her wing, and asked how she was. She replied with a smile, saying she was feeling great, and was ready to read the questions given to her from the fans.

C was excited, wanting to answer the first question given to me, and was ready to respond.

So the two sat down in stage chairs together with the spotlight still on, and Carla read the Qs from her flashcard. She said the name of each fan, and read the questions sent from them. After hearing every question, C gave the best answer he could, and loved hearing about them. Wanting to communicate with his fans and share his appreciation for how much they wanted to get to know him. Making C relax as she read every new question, feeling good, and though he felt nervous a bit, he didn't have a problem sharing so much.

Once they were done, C was able to announce to everyone portions of the plans he had in mind for his next stories, making everyone cheer again, for they knew that his stories were a big hit in the area. Then he waved to everyone, telling them to take a break and know that they would be answering more questions every week.

A Better Filter

On one dark and stormy night, there was a small town suffering a black out. Every family would stay in their homes and avoid getting wet, while also waiting for the power to return. Including one fellow citizen, who was an anthropomorphic chipmunk.

He was inside his house alone, trying to be safe but did not wait for the power to come back. Instead, he had numerous candles set up in his living room, and on his working desk were piles of blank paper and a lot of art utensils. He sat down near his desk and held his pencil, aiming at the first piece of paper he placed down. The chipmunk was ready to draw something, but thought about something on his mind first.

Before the blackout, he would often spend his days on the internet, browsing through images that represent creativity, action, and love and care. He admired it for so long. Until recently he noticed people publishing images that represented the opposite of what he loved. So he tried ignoring it, but everywhere he looked there was more and more stuff like that revealed all over the internet.

All that made the chipmunk feel disgusted. Knowing that everyone nowadays was being too careless about posting stuff online, and worried it would be a bad influence to the youth of the world. Causing the chipmunk to disregard the web for so long. But it also made him anxious since art was his biggest passion. Then when the blackout happened, that was when the chipmunk had the biggest idea in mind. He could spend his time drawing images instead of trying to find so much made by others. He used so much of his old paper and utensils, and was ready to start.

After remembering why he wanted to do it, he officially began his work, and after a full hour he already created so much. He made a picture of…

Sonic the Hedgehog and Sally Acorn racing through the forest together, smiling while watching the wild blue sky.

Blu and Jewel the macaws in Minnesota, watching the snow falling from inside Linda's bookstore.

Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry sitting at the beach together, barefoot, and sharing a kiss under a real sunset.

Woody the Cowboy, Bo Peep, and their group of toys sitting together looking at the view of the carnival.

Sally Acorn, Amy Rose, Ruby Raccoon, and Blaze Cat, each modeling in the most beautiful dresses.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Mighty wearing original superhero uniforms.

The chipmunk mostly created fan-art of movies he recognized, and that was his all time favorite. So he continued working on so many more pictures, until after his eighty seventh image, the power came back on.

It made him happy, and with how many pictures he drew or painted, his own lightbulb came on with an idea. He posted all of his fan-art online and even shared a message to everyone in town, telling the people to be more vigilant about what photos to post. Which created such an impact that everyone saw and followed it.

Most people focused on choosing to release more family friendly images and were happy about it.

As for the chipmunk, whose name was Elijah Shido, he became popular publishing his art and decided to spend his free-time making more of them and browse through others' artwork on occasion.

The Death of Hero

Far away, on another side of the multiverse, there was a team. A team of brave people with special gifts and abilities. Their names were Leader, Red Magic, Chosen, I.N., Metal, Water, Stone, Courage, and Hero. When they first came together, they worked as a team to fight the good fight, and they have done it well since then. They spent their everyday life, working to manage their double lives, stopping criminals, vanquishing any wannabe conquerors, and saving the innocent. The heroes won their many battles, and named themselves: the Heroic Educated Ranking Officers.

For years, they have done their work gracefully. They even allied themselves with more heroes. But that doesn't mean they were ready for everything. For one of the members had quite an impactful legacy, and it led to something unforgettable.

Hero, aka Garrett Ese, who was secretly the son of the world's greatest superhero. Since he carried on his father's legacy, he became one of the founding members of H.E.R.O. and was a great leader. That was until recently, when he decided to quit the team after going through what he thought was enough adventures. Of the dramatic variety. Even beforehand, he never told anyone how he really felt about his own legacy. Until now.

On one normal day, a lot of things all over the world appeared to be going right. There have been no wars, nor new superpowered villains trying to hurt others. The H.E.R.O. looked as though they were at their highest moment of peace, and then Garrett heard a message about someone who wanted to see him at his old town. Garrett, in his costume, took his trip to the hospital of his home. There, the person he met was named Ricky Vince. Hero knew him as a terrorist his dad stopped years ago. Ricky once attempted to blow up three skyscrapers with new powerful bombs, but the previous Hero (Garrett's dad) was able to stop him. Garrett was surprised to finally meet him, and Ricky wanted him to come over just because he believed he wanted to see his demise. Ricky was very sick and set to die soon, and thought of himself as Hero's greatest enemy, even though he never had any powers.

Garrett had no intention of seeing him die, and knew that his father wouldn't want that either. So, with his ability to take and give away powers, Garrett decided to give Ricky a small ounce of a healing factor, curing him of his disease. Ricky was better again, but after a while…he didn't change his ways. Garrett was proud to help him but after a while, Ricky was released from both the hospital and jail, and wanted to return to a life of crime. But would not be accepted into any criminal organization. Somehow, word spread out of Hero healing him, and so, Ricky became a laughing stock to the eyes of all mob bosses. Thinking of him as a weak quitter, and leaving Ricky to feel broken and think that Hero was not only an enemy, but also a curse. A curse that needed to be purged from the world.

So Ricky travelled around, until he heard of the company, Future, a corrupted tech company that has also been secretly trying to fight H.E.R.O. over the years. He joined their organization and learned that they had a sample of Hero's DNA. They wanted to use it to recreate him and have their own superhero to win the public's approval. So when Ricky worked hard enough, he earned everyone's trust and became their first test subject, only after promising his full allegiance to them. But he had no intention of keeping it.

When the experiment began, Ricky was given every sample he needed until it became a success. Future gave him all the powers of Hero, and before that, he sabotaged every vital machine to make sure he wouldn't be controlled, and when it worked, he first used his powers to destroy Future. He destroyed everything, and then, he decided to have real fun with his powers by gaining the attention of every superhero in the world. He started by spending days, committing multiple crimes in secret, and with his new powers equal to Hero's, it was no sweat. He had super strength, the ability to sense people's intentions (though not like a telepath), ability to run faster than most folks (not like speedsters), invent new things, and inside he held infinite power. He had infinite different superpowers inside each of his blood cells, but could not use them himself. He only had the ability to take and give away each of those powers. Nonetheless, he found another way to use them.

The H.E.R.O. heard the news and didn't know what to do about it, except to help the authorities and aid anyone that got hurt. As they did, a new broadcast came up. It was Ricky controlling every news station in the world, wearing a new costume and revealing himself as the new Red Hero. He told the world he wished to challenge Hero, a challenge to the death to see who was a better hero to everyone. And to show that he meant business, he used his powers to change all the sewer tunnels of Hero's hometown to create a powerful earthquake. Many buildings fell apart, people got hurt, and it got the whole world's attention.

Everyone in H.E.R.O. knew he was crazy but had no contact with Garrett anymore, so they notified all first responders to let them know they would fight against Red Hero first. Meanwhile, Garrett was in another town and spoke with another friend in a cafe. It was his friend, former sidekick, and still member of H.E.R.O., Hope aka Rachel Bow.

She was once a bystander that admired Hero's work, and became his crime-fighting partner when she one day gained the same powers he had. Hope became a member of H.E.R.O. and despite Hero quitting, she still remained with them while still keeping in touch with Hero. And the two talked with each other about how things were.

Rachel claimed to enjoy her time with the team, but feared that Garrett was drifting apart from everyone. Garrett believed they were doing well without him, and confessed something important to her. He loved his father and always wanted to make him proud for standing up for his legacy. But since the beginning, doing the work has been too much hardship for him, and Garrett gave Rachel an idea involving his powers that she didn't like. Rachel tried talking him out of it, reminding him of all the good that his work did, until the news came on, and they saw what Red Hero did. So they geared up, and took the fastest route to town.

For H.E.R.O., they arrived towards Red Hero first, and were ready to fight. It was eight of the founding members, plus other heroes, that appeared and struck hard at RH first. Leader, Red Magic, Chosen, and everyone each took their turn fighting off Red Hero, delivering every blow to the best of their ability. But RH was too strong. Because of his abilities, he counteracted all of their attacks. Whether changing their weapons into broken tools, altering their minds to see only their biggest fears, or rendering many of them helpless.

Leader and Red Magic were the only ones left standing. They fought with extreme valor, though it was no use. But when all seemed lost, Hero and Hope finally showed up, striking against RH and making it a tougher experience for him.

All three of them knew that their powers were to each other, so Hero set up a trap. He used his powers to create portals, and he and Hope pushed themselves and Red Hero in each of them, teleporting across the whole planet and beyond while still fighting.

Throughout that battle, H.E.R.O. quickly recuperated from their fight and tried helping civilians, only for a new set of enemies to emerge. It was an army of metal and stone zombies, created from RH's powers. There were alot, and it made everyone fear the worst. Nonetheless, the team stood their ground and used all their remaining strength to fight them off.

Meanwhile, Hero and Hope were still battling RH. Until they reached the bottom of the world (Antarctica), and Hero took the opportunity to finally take away Red Hero's powers. It seemed to work at first, but RH admitted he was counting on that. For he used his power on his suit and gave it the power to take away all of Hero's powers if he tried his trick. Because he did, Hero was completely powerless. Hope tried to help, but RH pushed her away, and beat up Hero harshly. Hope was badly hurt and couldn't heal herself. Hero was unable to do anything, making them both fear the worst.

RH then told him how he felt. How he hated what he did for him and what his legacy did to everyone. Thinking of him as not a hero, but an illness. So he continued torturing him, and in doing so, Hope realized something. If RH could make his costume do anything he wanted like they could with everything else, then Hope tried something by using an ice block…and throwing it at him. RH thought it was a pathetic attempt, until he felt himself suddenly becoming weak. Because Hope transferred some of her powers into the ice, just to give it the ability to counteract RH's trick and take away most of his powers, while returning Hero's.

Hero stood back up, still injured, but continued fighting. The two hit each other even harder, causing massive clashes against the ice, and earthquakes that made the whole planet shake. Hope was still too hurt to help, but just sat and watched, trying to keep hoping. But at a moment of desperation, Red Hero turned his gloves into claws and mauled Hero severely. Making the fight more excruciating.

Hero still resisted until finally, at the edge of a cliff, Hero used his power to make the whole area collapse down. Ice fell all over, including on all three of them. When it all cleared, Hero crawled in severe pain, Hope was nowhere in sight, and RH was still standing. He laughed, feeling cheerful that the fun was about to end. He was ready to deliver the blow, until Hero threw another piece of ice at his head, and Hope appeared, grabbing his head, taking all of his powers away. Red Hero was forever changed back into Ricky Vince, who was severely injured and stunned to the brain. But still alive.

With the battle over, Hope aided Hero, trying to give him the power to heal from his injuries…but it wasn't working. It was the idea that he gave her earlier. That if anything like this happened again, if another villain came in with their powers, they needed to stop said villain at any cost. Even at the cost of their own powers, and because Hope was unable to do it, Hero did it by throwing that other piece of ice. He transferred all his powers into it, making everything from them go away, including his ability to accept any other powers.

Hope couldn't accept that, so she tried to help him. She even tried finding the ice block but it was gone, and kept trying to heal him, but it appeared nothing worked. Because of this, Hero gave his final words saying he was happy. He admitted he didn't want his father's legacy, but knew that it meant helping people, and he spent his life helping others, and hoped that all his friends and family would be happy. Knowing that he didn't give up fighting the good fight. Hero was happy…and finally, he drew his last breath.

Hope was deeply saddened by this, and carried his body and Ricky all the way back to the city, where she saw that H.E.R.O. won the other battle. After RH lost his powers, his zombie army fell apart. But even the whole team and the entire city, when they saw Hope and Hero, was saddened to see their dear friend dead.

The next few days, the whole team set up a memorial and buried Hero, honoring his name and legacy. Every hero and civilian in the world saw it, and showed the same amount of respect. The founding members, plus Hope, were in the main line near Hero's spot, taking their moment of silence. Until Hope received a text from an unknown number. Telling her there was no reason to worry, that the legacy would live on with or without him, and not to worry about trying to find him until he was ready to return. Giving Hope the idea who sent it.

Later that night, Hope and Leader were running together and talking, wanting to visit Garrett's memorial again because of the text. On the way, they talked about the text, hoping it was what they thought. They even talked about how, even if it wasn't, they would things in the world would officially change. Hope even explained what she and Garrett had done with their powers. Leader was shocked, but understood their decision, and knew that she couldn't control his actions. Then when they arrived, Hope looked closely at the memorial, and sensed it. She knew it was empty. Hero, aka Garrett's body was gone, and Hope realized that somehow more of her powers were returning, and looked at the text again. Making Leader and Hope wonder…what was to be done next…without Hero?

Happy Birthday to C

One day, C appears in the jungle of Rio, in his blue macaw form, and flies through the air, smiling over a certain special occasion. Sunset Shimmer then shows up, getting his attention, telling him there is an emergency at the Redeemer Statue. C comes along, and when they land in the area, he doesn't see anything wrong. Then suddenly, every one of his friends jumps out into the open, surprising C, and revealing a big birthday cake.

Everyone in the Rio Samba Gang: Blu, Jewel, Carla, Bia, Tiago, Vince, Seb, Sally, Rafael, Eva, Luiz, Nico, Pedro, plus the Feather Seven and Spike all show themselves.

They all sing happy birthday to C, and he was grateful, even for the cake that they brought out. The whole gang then eats and talks together, enjoying and appreciating more of the fun stuff that has happened over the single year since C came back from his mission.

C feels the same way, and inside he feels his heart warming up from all the friendship he still has. Until Pinkie Pie breaks his concentration, asking if he was thinking about having the same kind of party with his friends in the other dimensions. C wing-palms himself, realizing that he didn't think about everyone else. He also didn't know if trying to reach them and bring them to the current universe was a good idea. Until Bia and Sally gave him an idea on what if he could use illusions to create a portal that works as like a video-chat screen between worlds. C doubted his powers could go that far, but decided to give it a try anyway.

He meditates while everyone watches, hoping it would work, until finally, it did. One screen appears in front of the gang in Rio, and from the other end, it shows the view of a familiar city. C and everyone sees it, and are amazed to see that it was…New Mobotropolis.

C jumps in excitement, seeing that after all these years, he discovered something new with his powers.

So he tries moving the screen from the other side, making it go through New Mobotropolis, trying not to grab anyone else's attention until it's noticed by Tails Prower. He happily sees everyone on the other end, and C tells him to get the rest of the team so they can say hi. Tails succeeds in getting the attention of his best friend Sonic the Hedgehog, and teammates Sally Acorn, Amy Rose, Cream the Rabbit, Cheese, Nicole the Holo-Lynx, Rotor Walrus, and Antoine and Bunnie D'Coolette.

The ten heroes gather together, gladly saying happy birthday to C, and admit that they thought he would come to them first. Cream even reveals a special bracelet that she made for him. C appreciates that and demonstrates his ability to make them chat together in other worlds. C feels very proud as he reminded everyone that for years he's traveled through dimensions but never figured out how to make a system of communication between them. Tails then suggests if he can do that with even more dimensions, and C decides to try, while also admitting that he wanted to go slow and not be responsible for any multiversal incursions.

C opens a new screen in another dimension which he recognizes as the Pokemon world, where they say hi to other friends named Abe and Gloria. Two young trainers with their Pokemon, who say happy birthday to see C too. Then C did make just one more screen, which connected to Garrett Ese and his gang of fellow young heroes. Who had the same reaction as the others.

Four screens show the faces of everyone from four different universes, all happy to speak and give C their regards for his birthday. Once again, it makes C feel good, and grateful for everything and everyone he had to appreciate.

An hour or so later, sunset time comes, the groups, including the ones shown through the "cosmic video chat," continue talking. They share their progress in their daily activity, their excitement for things coming up like movies and events, and wondering together on what they wanted to do next.

Suddenly, Nico and Pedro suggest they do a little karaoke session for C. C, and some of the others, feel unsure until they choose to try a few songs, and all suggest that C sings with them.

First, C, Applejack, and Bunnie do a trio number, singing "Route 66."

C and Rainbow Dash sing "Photograph."

Then he, Jewel, Nico, and Pedro sing "I Wanna Party."

Finally, C and Sunset sing "You're So True" together.

Doing that made C feel exceedingly happy because he admired Sunset, and so did she. They enjoy every lyric and note they share. At the end, they finish and everyone cheers again. Everyone still keeps their positivity up, and by then, everyone on the other screens say they want to stop there. C was okay with that, and as easily as before, C makes the screens disappear. He thinks that the party will end there, but the Rio Gang and Feather Seven want to continue. They still want the party to go on since it was not even night yet.

C happily agrees, and the whole group continues eating the cake and talking, while dancing to other music playing. Still making C happy as they continue partying.
