Izu laid down on the cracked ground were buildings stood before. His open wounds letting the blood flow out of his body as if it were nothing more than water flowing out of a bottle of water. He was barely clinging to life as his eyes tried to focus on the light.
The voices and shouts of despair of the people around him were nothing more than noises, undistinguishable and rather dull. How did it end up to this you might ask? Well let me tell you.
It was just another normal day in the life of Izuku. He had woken up alone in his and Nana's shared bed as she had left for work. Getting up he did the usual, make something to eat brush his teeth afterwards, study and practice his control of OFA.
He was getting better with it and the more he practiced the more he felt that there was more to this mystical power than what met the eye.
Happy at the progress he was making Izuku decided to relax for the day and rather than work out more and more he would watch some TV or read a book that might have caught his eye. After all Nana had many books on her selves that he had wanted to read for a while now.
Having sat down on the couch he looked through the different TV channels when suddenly a huge warning appeared telling the citizens of the city and people who were visiting to run to a shelter near them as a huge fight was taking place at a park nearby.
He was used to this but was confident that the heroines already dispatched to the scene would be able to deal with what was going on. Suddenly his phone rang and it was Nezu? "Izu you need to come here quick!" She shouted confusing him.
"Where and what's going on?" He asked as he got out of his pajamas and into his All Might T-Shirt and black shorts. "Have you seen the news if yes just go there we need more people to evac civilians" She shouted again and hung up.
Izu looked at the phone for a second him mind running at a thousand miles a second before putting on his shoes and jumping out of his window. He ran using One For All in the process as he needed to get to the park fast.
Confused as to why they would call him for help he tried to come up with an answer but struggled to do so he run and run going faster with each step he took.
When he got there, there was no park and there were no civilians only heroes fighting villains. He could see that everyone was tired so he put his hands on the ground making it pulse as he used his shadows to create a mini earthquake by shaking the ground using the blank spaces in the dirt.
He disrupted most of the villains attacks and was able to put up a wall made out of his shadows trapping the villains in. "Izuku!" Shouted Cementoss and Izuku smiled. "Reinforce this and then we talk" He shouted and she did just that making him sigh.
"Okay now what the fuck are you doing here?!" Shouted Snipe and he looked at her panting. "I don't know! Nezu called and wanted me to help!" He shouted back and put his back on his wall still panting. "Already tired?" Asked Aizawa and he smiled.
"A bit, had to run here to make sure i wasn't too late, also having to use my shadows at such an extent isn't easy but i am also checking the vibrations on the wall to see where they are trying to brake out" He said and a wicked smile appeared. "Now how about we make sure they don't do that" He said and with one quick slam on the wall the wall became more squishy and bouncy as you could hear screams of pain inside the wall.
Though it wasn't much of a big wall as it was more of a box. "Okay so what's the plan?" Asked Yu and he smiled. "Oh no no no no, you are the seniors one here, i just came to clear civilians though you already did that" He said and they nodded.
"Any ideas anyone i don't think this box will last for ever" Said Nemuri and raised his hand. "We could gas them" He said and they glared at him. "Sorry phrased that wrong. Midnight could use her quirk to put them to sleep" He said and they nodded though there was a problem.
"I can't completely control the gas of my quirk so you will just have to put me in there" She said and he chuckled. "Or i could just create a funnel" He said and she nodded. "Then what are you waiting for?" Asked Ryuko and he did as he was asked.
The gas slowly seeped out of Nemuri's body and into the box and Izu could sense every villain in the box pass out and he smiled when suddenly a huge whole was blown on the side of the box. He looked at the hole and saw what could only be described as a monster come out of it.
It was a large, black humanoid monster with a very muscular body that had many scars on it. It's brain exposed on the top of it's head, while it's large eyes are around it. It had a beak-like mouth with an array of sharp teeth.
It wore a pair of beige pants and metal knee-pads designed to emulate skulls. It's feet and torso were left bare.
It looked at him and charged right at him at incredible speeds. He was barely able to get his guard up when it hit him square in the chest sending him flying. The heroines were about to help him out when suddenly they were attacked by the now somehow awake villains.
Izu couldn't dodge the monsters attacks as it was way too fast for him to handle. He put shadows around his body in an effort to lessen the damage but that had little effect. It's power matched Nana's to his surprise and now that he thought about it where was she?!
The monster got behind him and hit him on the back sending him crashing down on the ground. It then wailed down on him and as much as he tried to harm it, it would just heal all of it back. He used OFA to get out of there only to be caught again and thrown onto a wall.
He spit out blood trying to get his bearings back. The monster looked at him with it's blood red eyes and way oversized body towering over him. The monster dashed at him and he finally managed to dodge the punch only to be kicked on the liver.
He was all bloodied up but not out of the fight yet or so he thought as the monster grabbed him and started to crash him onto the ground from left to right.
And now we come back to where we were with Izu all bloodied up in pain and . . . . dying. He felt two arms wrap around his body droplets of water falling on his face.
He was barely able to see here but it was Nana alright, she was crying a stream of tears that fell on Izuku's face and shirt. He wanted to tell her it was fine but it wasn't, he couldn't move his hands, legs or anything really. He was in so much pain.
"Why you? What have you done to deserve this?" She said between sobs as she held him close. "Please don't leave us" She said as she cried in his ear. Once again he was back to his weak self like in the orphanage.
(Eight Years Ago)
Izu was at the orphanage walking with a few of his friends when suddenly he got punched in the face by the bully of the orphanage. He was a tall boy around 15 years old with the body of an 18 year old.
Izu had learned to avoid him but this time he was caught off guard completely. And this time the bully wasn't alone he had friends and as Izu tried to stand up he was pushed back to the ground.
The other boys started kicking him while he was down blood slowly oozing from his now broken nose. He tried to fight back but there was not a way to do so, when suddenly the bully kicked him straight in the face cutting his lip.
Izu' eyes started to close as he was about to pass out when suddenly a sharp pain woke him up. He screamed in pain as he looked down at the side of his stomach a knife sticking out of it. The bully laughed as he grabbed the knife, pulled it out and turned around.
Izu held his side as the blood oozed out, his vision becoming foggy and blurry. He didn't want to die and he wouldn't not yet. His wound started to close the pain being replaced by the feeling of his whole body burning.
He looked to his side and found himself able to stand up. He looked at the bully and his friends leaving and decided he was going to take his revenge, one day he would make the bully pay.
In the present Izu found himself in almost the same situation, he didn't want to die, he wanted to make the one that made Nana cry pay and he would. "I have to survive for her" He thought something slowly changing in his body.
He could feel his body burning up but couldn't do anything about it. He suddenly felt the hardness of the ground as Nana was attacked by whatever that thing was. He fell to the ground looking up at the blue sky.
Nana barely dodged it's attacks as it managed to keep up with her. She was furious, it had hurt her precious Izu no one does that. She glared at the monster and attacked with all her might pushing it back with every punch.
"Delaware Smash!" She shouted and hit the monster again and again pushing it back effectively as her power seemed to be higher that it's. She was going to make it pay for hurting her Izuku the sparks around her body showing that she wasn't going to hold back.
"I don't want to die" He whispered as steam started coming out of his wounds. Recovery girl rushed to his side and tried to heal him but his body was way to hot for her to do anything. She was worried sick about him but was confused as to why his wounds were healing.
He looked into Chiyo's eyes as Kau ran beside them. He could feel control come back to his body as his shadows 'run' around in his body healing his wounds causing him more and more pain as he 'woke up'
"What is happening to him?" Asked Kau and Chiyo looked at her confused. "I don't know he is somehow healing but it is causing him a lot of pain" She said as she could see Izu's pained expressions.
He used his hands to push himself up steam coming out of his mouth as his internal injuries were starting to get healed. "Izu stop your body has already hit it's limit" Said Chiyo and he huffed. He couldn't sit there and watch but then again he could barely move his body.
He looked at Nana who was fighting the monster. The amount of power she used made him shiver though deep inside him he knew that it was nowhere near what she was truly capable off. Kau and Chiyo helped him up and he smiled. "I know you will hate me for this but i am going back in" He said rather confident but was quickly shut down by the both of them.
"No! You will die if you do that!" Shouted Kau as Chiyo cupped his cheeks making him turn towards her. "I don't know how you are still alive but i can't let you waste you life like that. Besides there is no way you can use any of your quirks after that!" She shouted her usually cheerful eyes filled with fear.
Fear for his life.
They both looked at him surprised as sparks appeared around his body. "Izu please stop" Begged Kau but he didn't head to her prayers. He started walking towards Nana and the monster that were currently trading punches.
Deciding that the best he could was let Nana have her one on one with that thing he looked around at the battles that were caused due to the influx of villains, who taking this as an opportunity attacked all the heroes at once.
Breathing out Izuku felt the darkness of his quirk take over, his veins becoming all the more black as he let shadows in him roam free. He had a plan on how to help and quickly put it into action as he lifted his hands up making the ground suddenly crack for no apparent reason.
Slowly the cracks grew as long black tentacles started to come out snaking along the ground before reaching their targets. Izuku knew that he could only immobilize the villains and even that he could do for a few seconds.
The more tentacles that showed up the harder it became for him to breath as the darkness started to clog up his body. But he waited and in the end when the time was right used his tentacles to wrap up as many villains as he could.
The small earthquake he had caused before or the box he had made couldn't compare to what he was doing now. Izuku gasped at he finally detached all the tentacles from their source letting them harden around the trapped villains that were quickly being rounded up by the many heroines.
Having done all he could he turned to watch Nana in her fight fascinated by her. . . everything. She seemed perfect even in these situations as she fought that thing. She was winning from what he could tell as she truly had started to get serious.
The sparks around that woman's body made all the heroines around her back off. This was now Nana's fight as she swung like mad hitting the creature that had dared harm what was hers. It's howls of pain only made her smile more and more.
She seemed relentless and she was, hit after hit without once raising her power, she was toying with her prey, more like making it feel pain, the same pain that it had made her beloved Izuku feel.
Her anger had grown much further than it had ever gone but she kept it all inside her. She didn't let the anger consume her, rather she used to power her punched further, she used all her rage to power OFA.
The thing had become slower and slower to her. It couldn't keep up, nothing could keep up to her, she was raising her speed more and more as she used 50% of her power. Punch after punch pushed back as it effectively ran away from her punches.
It stood no chance in front of her, in front of the symbol of piece that had defeated countless villains, that had made the world a better place, the woman that had seen her lover get hurt and now longed for revenge.
"You are mine beast!" She shouted charging at her target once more. Hit after hit after hit it wailed in pain making her revenge all the more complete. But she couldn't keep playing around much more, she had to finish it.
The good thing was that this thing didn't have to survive to tell the tale, it was clearly long gone and controlled by someone else far away. Deciding she had had enough fun she went in for the killing blow a move that Izuku was quick to notice.
It was her signature move after all. A Delaware smash that would part that things atoms apart as if they were nothing. Her punch wouldn't miss he knew it but wanting his fair share he took one last chance at his own revenge.
Raising his hands he blocked the things escape as it run backwards with his quirk. It's back, legs and arms were pierced by long black spikes that dug into the flesh of the monster. Nana smiled happy to be given this chance to fight next to her love.
"It's the end for you villain!" She shouted with a devilish smile as the trapped thing thrashed around not able to dodge the incoming punch. "DELAWARE SMASH" Her shout brought fourth the death of the creature as it's body disintegrated under the force of OFA.
The remains were it's legs and arms still held in place by the spikes that had let Nana get the perfect punch in to end her rage and revenge cycle. She could have used more power but it didn't deserve it, that disgusting beast didn't deserve a thing.
The amount of power she had used had prevented any amount of blood to get on her as she towered above what remained of her enemy. "Deserved nothing more" She thought to herself turning to face the rest of the heroines who were shouting and cheering in happiness.
Izuku on the other hand wasn't exactly cheering or shouting, more like falling apart as he struggled trying not to pass out. Deep breaths reset his heart to a more normal beat rate as he struggled with getting up.
Making some progress on doing so he was quickly caught by Nana who, now having run over to him embraced the young man in a warm soothing hug. Taking in her scent and warmth he smiled patting her back and head as she sobbed quietly.
"Don't ever... Ever scare me like that again!" She shouted angrily as he smiled at her unable to say much dew to how little oxygen his brain had at the moment. Picking him up she carried the young man over to the other heroines where she helped him on his feet.
It was a surprise he could even stand going by the beating he had just received.
Having dealt with all the villains all the heroines were about to leave when suddenly they saw a bunch of portals appear near the remains of the thing. Nana having seen them before along with Rumi and Ryuko who had also done so dashed near them though ultimately keeping their distance.
Out of these portals came out three women only one of which Izuku knew. One was a tall woman that was made out of these blueish portals that had appeared, she wore a butler uniform and seemed more like the leader of the group.
The other was a blonde short girl with daggers and a feral smile. She wore a schoolgirl uniform and seemed quite interested at him as she looked at our young man with glowing eyes.
Lastly was the woman Izuku knew quite well. She was a friend he had made and the only person he had befriended who wasn't a professional hero. Dabi as she was named wore a white plane shirt with black lining along with black jean shorts and a leather jacket, also black.
Her presence intrigued him the most as from what she had told him she was out doing some work in the other side of the country not helping what were presumably bad people gather parts of a thing that had attacked Nana.
If only he managed to talk to her and find out what was going on. . .
"What are you three doing here?!" Rumi questioned getting ready to engage incase she didn't like their answer. Ryuko also got on her four feet having fully transformed into a dragon that was ready to chew them up.
"Wowowow cowboys stand down, we are just here to pick the remains of this little guy" Said Dabi as she inched closer to one of the hands the thing had. "That little thing being?" Asked Nana who also seemed ready to fight once more.
"It's called a Nomu but how about something more interesting like... the name of that cutie over there?!" Toga's energetic and rather annoyed attitude made them growl in anger 'scaring' the young girl.
To be calling their cutie... their Izuku a cutie? Who the hell did she thing she was?
Izuku on the other hand who was far away from them chuckled as he brought a piece of shadow into his mouth chewing it up like bubblegum. Chiyo noticed his actions and was quick to place her hand on his shoulder making it clear that she wouldn't allow him to go back into the fray.
"Don't worry i won't do anything drastic Chiyo" He said pulling the now round piece of shadow out of his mouth. Making it grow to the size of a baseball he let OFA run through his right hand getting ready to throw this little ball.
This action confused many but just when they were ready to ask him what he was doing he threw the ball with all the power he had left. It's speed made it impossible for Dabi to dodge as it went straight at her.
Raising her hands to protect her head she was surprised to find that she was not hit by the ball rather encased by it as rapidly grew around her and... as his last move for the day he pulled the ball towards him braking it the moment it got close and passing out.
With everyone shocked to bits the two remaining villains got their opportunity to run away grabbing all the remaining pieces of the dead creature and going through the portals that were still open.
