-Know the enemy, Know yourself, And Victory Is Never in doubt, Not in a hundred battles.'

Sun-Tzu The Art Of War.

That is a quote Izuku had read while being in the orphanage that had burned down. It was one he had memorized and tried to follow for most of his life as he knew that knowing your enemy and yourself led to undoubted victory.

Though in the fight he had just been in he knew only himself, hence the reason he survived. Had he known neither himself nor the enemy, victory would have been completely out of reach. And so he thought.

About his enemy and his close encounter with death.

Right now he felt no pain a weird thing considering the beating he had taken. He actually felt light like a ghost as he found himself standing in the corridor of his and Nana's house. Why was he standing?

Why was he in their apartment? Didn't he need medical treatment or something like that? He walked through the never ending halls of their house something that didn't make sense to him. They were too large and too bland for them to be in their house.

But the pictures of him and Nana on the wall confirmed it so he went on trying to find a room or something like that. He tried to scan the area with his shadow quirk but was unable to do so. As if there was light everywhere making it impossible of him to even start his quirk.

All of this seemed weird to him, he felt out of place and quite honestly dead. He felt disconnected from everything, he couldn't hear his footsteps, smell his clothes or feel the concrete walls.

After some wandering around his heard an all too familiar voice. "Nana?!" He shouted out in excitement as he run towards the voice of his . . . girlfriend. He was eager to meet her and ask her oh so many things but when he got to her he found a rather weird sight.

Nana was standing over a photo of her, him and the girls as both Rumi and Ryuko stood aside her looking blankly at the photo as well. He tried to reach out to them but his hand just phased right through them.

He shouted their names again and again and only after Nana let out a long sigh did he stop. He thought they had heard him finally so he started to speak only to be interrupted and later broken in two.

"Well i guess he is dead now" Nana's voice echoed into the room as both women on her left and right laughed. "Yeah, but who cares really? He was just another annoying little brat, another male that just couldn't face that his race was quirk less" Her words carried hate and anger as she almost spit when she said the word male.

No, no, no. Rumi wasn't like that she would never say anything like that!

"Can't believe we wasted so much of our time just for him to die like that" Ryuko spoke up as she slowly picked up the photo and lifted up to her face. She grabbed a white marker that was on the table beside her and hastily blurred his face having a wicked smile on her face.

"Finally couldn't stand to face him anymore" She said as she showed the photo to the other two and they just laughed. "So funny for him to think that i loved him" No, it couldn't be true. "You played it quite well, he fell in love and you faked it all the way" No Rumi please not you too.

"A monster and a woman, how funny that would have been" Ryuko whispered as she tore the photo to shreds doing the same to Izuku's heart and mind. "Now it is about time we got rid of the evidence" She continued as she loomed over the fire of the fire place.

Her hand casually glided over the fire where it let go of all the shreds giving a bit more life to the fire, as sparks flew into the room. "Well since we have started might as well end our work" added Rumi as she grabbed a painting all too familiar to Izuku.

It was something really important to him but she didn't seem to care as she brought over her head and cracked it in two throwing both parts into the fire while smirking all the way. "Good riddance"

Izuku stumbled backwards having lost his footing along with his mind. He tried to keep himself up using a stool but was too weak and fell along with it. The three women turned around seeing only the fallen stool and shrugged their shoulders.

"Guess the truth hit him hard" Rumi joked as all of them laughed out loud scaring him to the bone. "Let me finish it then" Nana cleared her voice and giggled a bit before opening her mouth. "I never loved you" Her words cold like icepicks as they went through Izu's heart.

"Nooooooo! Please nooo!" He shouted again and again but was not heard by anyone. So he did the last thing he knew he could do. Run away. He run and run into the endless corridors before finding himself in a dark and cold place.

He was probably out of the house and had now stumbled upon another horror. He walked around the grass on his feet not really felt more like seen as it was slowly replaced by dug up soil and rocks.

Trees that looked like monsters ready to grab him with their long and pointy branches and fog so dense that made it so he could see only what was a foot in front of him, it all seemed so real and for him, it was.

Suddenly he bumped into something, a rock that reached his knees but to be honest it didn't really look like a rock. It was tall and thin curving perfectly at the top and it wrote something he could not make out.

So he knelt down the wet looking dirt soiling his bare knees.

"Here lies Izuku ..."

What? No, no, no that didn't make sense. He was alive, he was walking around, he . . .

He was dead. He couldn't feel, or be felt, hear or be heard, he was dead. And now that the was dead the act was dropped. They didn't love him, off course they didn't, he was nothing to them, just another annoyance in their oh so great lives.

Nana didn't love him. why would she? He was weak, annoying, a pervert and an asshole. He didn't know because he was dense, he was sure he was a horrible person to be around, he knew he . . . he . . . he.

He wanted to die. No he wanted all of it to finally end, to be freed of this life. But why would he be freed he was horrible he deserved all the pain and pain and . . .

"Ahhhhhhhh!"

He shouted in pain his cheek becoming red with the imprint of a hand on it. The world around him started to collapse and he fell with it, free falling into the endless black void that was his heart or mind.

There was light but he wasn't reaching for it. He was done, he wanted to stop his suffering and so he didn't reach for the light. He could hear what he figured was Nana's voice but cut that out too. It was fake, off course it was.

She wouldn't help him, he was useless to her. He tried to fall further from the light but it followed him and slowly grew brighter and brighter swallowing him whole and numbing his body completely.

Suddenly his eyes shot open, his body having jolted upwards shedding all the sweat he had accumulated. His bruised and bandaged wounds filled his brain with pain as he let out an almost animalistic growl of pain.

He didn't have time to catch his bearings as he was dragged into an all to familiar hug. "Shhhh, it's fine, it was all a nightmare" Nana whispered in his ear as he pushed her away rather violently.

She wasn't prepared for such a powerful shove and so she almost fell back off the bed, had it not been for him catching her by the wrist last second. She quickly found her balance and lifted herself up along with his help retaking her previous position.

"What was that for?" She asked pretending to be hurt trying to lighten up the mood but he wasn't in the mood, not for her games, of for anything she had planned. "I am sorry Mam" He said rather coldly as he faced away from her.

She tilted her head slightly wondering what was wrong with him. He had never acted like this before and honestly it scared her a bit, she didn't want to lose him, not now, not after the events of the last fight at least.

"Izu what's wrong?" She asked in a calm and collected voice reaching out her hand to cup his cheek only for him to snatch it in the air making her yelp. "Oh so now you want to act all worried don't you?" He asked her, glaring into her eyes.

"What are you on about?" Her question shocked him as he threw away her hand in anger. "Really? You disrespect me while i am dead, claiming that i was an annoying little brat and now that i am here you suddenly take all of it back?!" He shouted, with Nana making little to no sense out what he was saying.

"Izu what are you saying?" She pondered out loud as her heart started to quake. Why was he this mean to her, did she do anything wrong and not realize? "So funny for him to think that i loved him Those were the words YOU used" He shouted at her again as her now watery eyes began to stain the sheets of their bed.

"And now you act as if all of that, was nothing, just a bad dream, a hallucination of sorts?" He asked the raised tone of his voice making her sob even more. "Please *sob* Izu, it Was all just a nightmare i am telling you the truth!"

Her words did little to calm him but were able to set his mind into motion. Sooner or later he would realize his mistake but until then who knew how much damage will have been caused. "You, Rumi, Ryuko you hate me don't you?"

. . .

"What?" She asked her sobbing having completely stopped out of the blue. "You hate me . . . don't you?" He asked once more but this time a bit more hesitantly. "Think about what you just said please" Her tone having suddenly become cold.

"You . . . ah . . ."

"Out of all the people you know. Out of all the women you have met. Did you think that even for a second, me, Rumi or Ryuko could ever, ever hate you? We three have been closer to you than anyone else in your life, or so we like to believe, you have revealed things to us you would never reveal to others, and you think, we could hate you?"

He wanted to say something but the more he heard her the more he started to believe her, maybe she was right . . . . . off course she was. He thought about it, his mind replaying the last thirty minutes time and time again until he realized the obvious three.

1. They don't hate him, his mind made that up.

2. It was a nightmare

3. He had hurt her

"I- oh god Nana, i- i am sorry" He said under his breath as he just nudged closer to her. They looked at each other, eye to eye. "It's . . .it's fine. You are- no we are stressed" She claimed as both male and female fell onto each other.

"I will make it up to you i promise" His word pulling on her heart strings as she tried to pull away from his arms in order to tell him it was fine but she couldn't. She didn't want to leave his arms, she was tired, she wanted to go back to sleep, she wanted this to end now and just go to bed with her in his arms.

"I don't want you to promise anything right now *sniff* I just want you to do something to show me that you love me" She begged her voice muffled in his shoulder wetting it with her steady flow of tears.

"I want you to *sniff* show me that you love me *sniff* Please" She begged once more as he slowly raised her face using his thumbs to block the endless stream of tears running down her red cheeks. He wanted to say something to ease her pain but in the end actions speak louder than words.

With one quick motion he had taken her lips making sure to be gentle as his hands drew down towards her own. Their fingers quickly intertwined and the two lost themselves in the kiss neither of the wanting it to end.

They prolonged it for as long as possible taking quick, sharp breaths only for them to crash back into each other's lips once more. Nana, wanted- no, needed this, as her hands moved up to his neck, wrapping themselves around it making sure he would never get away from her.

Air wasn't a necessity anymore, they didn't care about such trivial things as air, off course not. They had more important things to worry about. One of them being that despite Nana's hands Izu was still not close enough for her liking.

Yes, he was on top of her, as the two had now laid down on top of each other amidst their heated session but still he wasn't close enough. And so, when it was time to finally take a breath in order not to die she put her middle finger on his lips stopping him dead in his tracks.

"Is everything okay?" He immediately asked having one back to the loving and considerate boy he is. Just the way she liked it. "Yes dear but *pant* you are a bit too far away for my liking" She said between pants as he looked at her up and down.

"I- don't *pant* get what you mean" He answered honestly as his blush grew further upon realizing that she had just called him dear. "Let me show you then" She offered as the couple rolled onto the bed ending up with her on top.

"Time to finally take this up a notch" She thought to herself as a massive blush covered her face. "Izuku *gulp* i know that i can't really compare to some of the girls but please love these as much as me" She spoke out as she slowly unclipped her bra letting it fall of her silky shoulders.

She was for some reason worried she would in a way disappoint him as she was much to her dismay smaller than some of the girls. But she forgot two important things, firstly Izuku doesn't love her for her breasts far from it actually and secondly he is way too pure to understand what she had just said.

Meanwhile Izuku was freaking out, Nana's bare breasts were right in front of him the pink tips basically shining under the ceiling light. He was a blushing hot mess. He knew what was in front of him but did not really have the courage to do anything with it.

After some seconds of recuperating he finally let his brain come up with a sentence. "They are beautiful" He said his words making her blush all the more strongly. An awkward silence fell between them as Nana quickly put her bra back on.

The silence continued when suddenly Izuku burst into laughter. "What's so funny?" She asked flustered as she found literally nothing funny about their current situation. "That, you were worried about the size of your chest. I mean you are Nana Shimura the symbol of piece and an extremely beautiful woman, why would i care about a part of your body when all of it surpasses perfection?"

She blushed all the more because of his words but it made sense what he had just said "I can be so stupid sometimes you know? I either overthink or don't think enough about things sometimes."

"Yep i know. But that makes you all the more cute" He said leaving another peck on her lips. "This night has been a roller-coaster of emotions *sigh* to the point where it seems fake, like a badly written script rushed beyond belief" He exclaimed as the two of them shared a chuckle.

"Who cares, this is who we are and how we act, after all, there is no one to judge us not that we would care if they did" She said drawing closer to him and placing her lips onto his one last time for this long night.
