Angels POV
I continued to lay under the blanket and watch TV even after Shaky left. It felt lonely without him, he said he wanted to go home and freshion up and we could do something later. I told him I would text him later. It saddened me to see him go, I slept well as I rested on his shoulder throughout the night. I could only imagine how much better it would be if it were in bed. He seemed to already be awake when I started stirring.
"Morning Angel" he said. I looked up at him and giggled, I couldn't believe I was actually waking up with my boyfriend that I had been crushing on for years now.
"Hey you. You want anything to eat?`` I asked.
"No, but do you have any OJ?" Shaky asked. I gave his cheek a kiss and went into the kitchen to fetch a glass of orange juice. When I brought it to him he was putting his shoes on.
"Leaving so soon?" I asked sadly.
"Yeah, i should probably be getting back home, but i can stay for another twenty minutes or so" he said. He then took the glass out of my hand. "Thanks" he said, taking a sip. I felt kind of guilty in a way. It had only been one date and yet I feel like I wasn't as fun as I could be.
"Shaky, I just wanted to say that last night… i really enjoyed myself, and i'm sorry if you were kind of… well, bored" i apologized. Shaky shook his head.
"Angel, I didn't want to do anything major. I just wanted to hang out with you. Believe me we'll do something better soon but we just need to plan it out" Shaky said.
"You really enjoyed yourself?" I asked. He put his glass down on the table and gave me a kiss on the lips.
"So much," he said. I smiled and closed my eyes as I nuzzled against him. We decided to watch some early morning cartoons while Shaky finished his juice. After that we said our goodbyes and he left. Now I just sat on the couch watching cartoons by myself. Mom and dad had already left for work so it was just me. Eventually I heard the front door open. I already knew who it was. Rick ended up walking into the living room, locking eyes with me as he entered.
"Hey" he said.
"What's up?" I greeted. He smiled for a second and then took a seat next to me.
"Have fun with Shaky?" he asked.
"Define fun," I joked.
"What did you two do?" he asked with a smile.
"Well to be serious, we hung out at the mall and then came here and ended up watching horror movies" i said.
"Mine or did you stream them?" Rick asked.
"Well i would have watched one of yours but i only thought of that after we had already picked something" i answered. I turned to lock eyes with him. "So… Lilly and her parents were at her grandparents last night" i said.
"Yeah," Rick said.
"So it was just you and Kate," I added.
"Yes" Rick said. I could tell he was getting nervous so I didn't even ask. I just started laughing.
"Oh my god" I laughed as I looked at the ceiling. He'd finally done it.
"What?" Rick asked.
"How was she?" I asked back.
"You are so pervy," Rick said.
"Hey, I didn't wait for a girls parents to go away so I could smash," I teased.
"I did not wait. I went over there without even knowing her parents were gone" Rick said.
"It doesn't matter. I want an answer though… how was it?'' I asked. I was being genuine and Rick could see it so he sighed before answering.
"It was… scary," he said.
"Scary?" I asked.
"Yeah… my heart was pounding the whole time. I didn't know what I was really doing. She didn't either but… we didnt care, we just… went with it. We showed how much we loved one another and that was the whole point after all. About half way through was when we started to get the hang of it i guess" Rick explained. He was… scared? My brother scared? I can't imagine what I would do if I felt like that with Shaky. But it was bound to happen eventually.
"I'm glad you two enjoyed it" I said. I then turned back to the TV.
"Angel?" Rick called. He sounded concerned.
"Yeah?" I responded.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I guess I'm just… nervous about my first time is all. Worried I'll disappoint" i explained. Rick gave a warm smile as he patted my shoulder.
"You can't disappoint if you're doing it out of love," he said. He then got up and started heading upstairs.
"Showering?" I called to him.
"Yep" he called back.
"Good. you smell like sex" i yelled. I then went back to what I was watching. About thirty minutes later Rick came downstairs and sat with me again.
"Kates probably coming over," he said.
"Great I listen to Humphrey and Lilly get it on now I gotta listen to you guys too?" I said sarcastically. Rick laughed.
"I was thinking more like a movie night. We go back to school in two days so I thought we could hang out" Rick explained. It actually gave me an idea.
"Is Lilly coming?'' I asked. Rick shrugged.
"I could text Kate and ask her, '' Rick offered. I nodded. He pulled out his phone and presumably started texting Kate. After about a couple of minutes he told me that she would ask Lilly. I already knew that meant she was coming. Lilly almost never passed up an oppertunity to hang out. From what I can remember she only did it twice. Once because she was on a date and the other because she was sick and puking in a toilet all day.
"Thanks," I said. Rick nodded.
"So… apparently, Kates dad found out me and Kate had sex" Rick said. I laughed.
"Yeah he probably took one step in her room and smelled the evidence" I teased.
"I don't know how he found out but he's pissed. Kate thinks it's probably best I dont go over there for awhile" Rick explained. It actually caught me off guard.
"Really?'' I asked. Rick nodded again. "I don't believe that shit" I said.
"Yeah…" Rick said.
"She's almost eighteen isnt she?" i asked. Rick nodded for the third time. I laughed again s i thought popped in my head. "Hey, does that make you a phedophile?" i asked. He turned to me for the first time in the conversation.
"Huh?" he asked.
"I mean… you are eight teen, you had sex with a minor ya perv" i teased. Rick scoffed.
"She's a young woman that can make her own decisions, besides… when you and Shaky finally get down and dirty there's gonna be a point where you're sixteen and he's eighteen so which is worse?" Rick asked cleverly.
"Okay okay you made your point, '' I said as I continued laughing. We continued to watch TV for a few seconds until I poked fun again. "Still did it though"
"God… damn it!"
Kates POV
I was driving to Rick's house as me and Lilly listened to Christmas music. It was low but we could still definitely hear it. At the moment rockin 'around the christmas tree was playing. Eventually Lilly broke the silence.
"So… are you… gonna tell me what happened?" she asked. I felt a bit nervous as I prepared myself to tell Lilly about last night's events.
"Well… we laid on the couch and watched a christmas movie to pass the time while it was snowing. I wanted to go outside and have a snowball fight or something you know?'' I asked. Lilly nodded so I continued. "We were outside for a good hour and a half, when we came inside we tried to warm up under a blanket. You know the one we keep on the couch? It worked. We were really warm and cozy. So much so that it kinda… turned us both on so we started making out and stuff" i laughed to myself. "We would have done it right there on the couch if Rick didn't stop me '' I said.
"And then?" Lilly pushed.
"We went upstairs and… we made out a bit more and then we undressed, got in bed and… we took each other's virginity," I said shyly. Lilly giggled.
"Didnt think a girl like you would wait until she was seventeen years old to finally fuck someone" she teased.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well you're looked at as the prettiest girl in school. Guys want you Kate. so for you to have patience is just…" she started.
"I'm not some whore, I'm tired of people thinking that" I ranted.
"That's not what I meant…" Lilly defended sternly.
"Then what did you mean?" I asked.
"I'm just saying… i'm surprised that you didn't get attached to someone sooner" Lilly said.
"Is that what you think me and Rick are? A momentary attachment?" i asked.
"No, that's not what I meant either. It's just that guys will say almost anything to get in a girl's pants. I've seen it attempted on you many times and it never worked" she said.
"Because I didn't love them… I barely even knew them. In fact when me and Rick were having sex it didn't even feel like sex. It just felt like we were proving our love to each other" i explained.
"I get that" Lilly said. Christmas music continued to play as we rode in silence. Lilly eventually broke the silence again. "You never told me how it was" she said.
"At first it hurt a little but it felt amazing at the same time. I actually yelped when he popped my cherry but… it was more pleasure than pain. He took care of me, made sure I was nice and satisfied. He even… held my hand as we came" i said.
"Aww '' Lilly sounded. I blushed as I tried desperately to avoid eye contact. It wasn't too hard considering I was driving. "You know I don't think Humphreys ever did that," she said.
"Don't go making this a competition" I said.
"I won't," Lilly responded. "That is sweet though. He really loves you" Lilly assured me.
"I know," I said confidently.
"So… what are you gonna get him for christmas?" Lilly asked. Immediately my eyes grew wide. I hadn't even thought about that.
"Shit" I said panicked.
"You still have all month," Lilly said as I pulled into Rick's driveway.
"I'm not fighting to the death over a damn gift, i don't even know where to start" i said as i put the car in park. "Well talk about that later" i said as i unbuckled my seatbelt. I then hopped out of the car and walked over to the door. I rang the doorbell and waited with Lilly for someone to answer.
"Have you been here yet?" Lilly asked. I hadn't realized that I hadn't been.
"No '' I said. Lilly snickered lightly as I saw the breath come out of her nose. It was still cold. I was about to ring the doorbell again but the door opened revealing Angel on the other side.
"Hey guys," she said with a smile.
"Hey Angie" I greeted. Angel stepped to the side to let us in as she held the door. Once we were in she shut it.
"Ricks in the living room," Angel said.
"This way" Lilly guided me. The three of us then walked over to the living room where I saw my love sitting on the couch.
"Hey," Rick said with a smile.
"Hey Rick" Lilly said as she sat on the edge of the couch. Angel sat to Lillys right on the L shaped couch. Rick scooted over to a bit so that I could sit in between him and Angel. I accepted and sat down next to Rick and gave him a smooch on the lips.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Hi Kate," he said. We both laughed lightly before going in for another kiss.
"Your room is right upstairs," Angel said to Rick, grabbing our attention.
"You will have to show me your room eventually," I said.
"Me and Lilly have things to discuss anyway so…" Angel directed her head upstairs. Lilly nodded and stood up. They then walked up the steps leaving me and Rick alone.
"I'm guessing you told her?" Rick asked. I turned back to Rick and rested on him.
"Yeah… I told her" i said. Rick kissed the top of my head. I looked up and pecked his lips.
"Sp your mom set us up huh?" he asked. I sighed.
"I didn't want you to think we were weird but yeah. She wanted us to start a new chapter of our life" i explained.
"Am I supposed to thank her? I want to but… how would I do that?" he asked. I laughed and gave him another kiss.
"I already thanked her," I said.
"Oh… thanks, '' Rick said. We both laughed and kissed each other again. This time it was a real kiss. One with tongue and passion. It was slow but that was my favorite type of kiss. We broke it with a wet smooch sound and looked into each other's eyes.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you," Rick said back. "So is your dad actually pissed?" he asked. I looked down at Rick's chest and started playing with his shirt using my finger.
"I don't know, he got a little psycho on me this afternoon and i didnt want you around that. Mom said she would talk to him so don't worry about it, you'll be back over in no time" i said.
"I hope" Rick wished. I giggled and gave him another kiss.
"So…'' I said, getting up. "Show me your room '' I said. Rick smiled and stood up before taking my hand and leading me up the stairs. When we got there his room was actually right at the top of the steps. I entered to see that he had some posters of shows and movies. Speaking of movies, there was a huge bookshelf filled to the brim with movies and books.
"Like it?" Rick asked as I walked over to the shelf amazed.
"Lilly wasn't kidding… you have everything" i said as i browsed the selection. Every horror movie, every franchise, every fucking stephen king book Rick had it. I brushed my finger over the books. "Can i borrow some of these?'' I asked.
"Take your pick, '' Rick said as he sat on his bed. I browsed for a bit as if i was at an actual fucking library but thats what it felt like. It was actually amazing. I ended up picking IT and the shining. I wasn't sure when I was going to read these but I would make the time. Perhaps during class or when I was just chilling in my room… without Rick… sad times. I picked out the two books and put them on the nightstand.
"Thanks" I said as I sat next to him on the bed.
"So you picked the shining, did you want the second one?" he asked.
"Second one?'' I asked back as I was confused. Rick stood up for a second and grabbed a book that sat next to the shining before I picked it out. It was titled doctor sleep. I'd totally forgotten about that. He sat down and handed it to me. I took it and studied the cover. "Thank you '' I said.
"Of course," he said. He then gave my cheek a quick kiss. I smiled and placed the book on top of the other two.
"You don't happen to have the movie do you? I wanted to watch it but didn't catch it in theaters" i explained.
"I'll do you one better. I do have the movie but I also have…" Rick stood up again and grabbed a blu-ray cover from his shelf. There was doctor sleep in his hand. He sat down next to me and held out the case to me. "The directors cut" he finished. I smiled and took the cover and put it with the books I picked. I'll wait for Rick to be around before I watch it though. I turned back to Rick with the same smile.
"Nerd" I teased. Rick grunted playfully as he kissed me, laying me on to the bed. I yelped out playfully as I accepted his kiss.
Angels POV
"So what is it that you wanted to talk about?" Lilly asked as she sat on my bed. I closed the door and sat next to her.
"So last night… me and Shaky made out. We could have come up here but we didn't, I was too nervous to ask" i explained.
"Did you want to… take my offer?" Lilly asked.
"That's the thing Lils… i really appreciate the offer as odd as it was but now that me and Shaky are actually together i… can't. I couldn't do that to him. I love him" i said. Lilly broke eye contact.
"Okay… but you said you were nervous right?" Lilly asked.
"Yeah… I did… it's only natural" i said.
"Alright… did you use the kissing lessons well?" she questioned.
"I did actually yes. They worked great, thank you" I said..
"It's just that I'm sure Shaky isn't a virgin. So if you wanted to put the other girls to shame i could help you" Lilly said.
"Lilly… I can't cheat on him" i said.
"It's not cheating, it's for him, you're doing it for him" Lilly said.
"Why are you being so persistent?" i asked. By this point I was starting to feel annoyed. I thought she would be happy for me.
"Well… i was sorta… looking forward to it" Lilly said.
"What? It was lessons not a threesome" i said.
"Yeah but… when I saw Humphrey on top of you that day… it kind of turned me on. I trust you and him together and no one else, so I was hoping that maybe… you would still want to" Lilly explained. I'm not sure why but I felt bad. Did she really trust me like that? I guess it makes sense considering that she was willing to let me sleep with Humphrey in the first place.
"I'm sorry Lilly. But Shaky's good to me. I love him, and doing this… i can't do that to him" i explained.
"He doesn't have to know," Lilly said. It was odd that she actually looked upset.
"You're really upset over this aren't you?" i asked.
"I thought… it would bring the three of us closer" Lilly said. This was so fucked up. I hate how gullible I am sometimes. I should just tell her no and move on but she actually looks sad right really doesn't take much for me to feel bad for someone. I patted her leg and sighed.
"When would you want to do this?" I asked.
"Really?" Lilly said, sounding thrilled.
"Yes" I said through gritted teeth, sounding annoyed.
"I could text Humphrey right now. He could swing by and pick us up. This will be great for you and Shaky trust me, it will be great for us to" Lilly said as she put her hand on my shoulder. I swiped her hand off my shoulder gently and stood up.
"Fine '' I said as I walked out of my room and down the hall. I walked over to Rick's room. I needed to talk to him about this. Come clean and hopefully he would talk me out of it. Maybe he would even convince Lilly that this was fucked up. "Rick I need to talk to yo-" I said as I opened his bedroom door but stopped at what I saw. I saw Kate and Rick laying on the side of the bed. Kate was on top of him and from the looks of it they were making out. She had her legs spread as Rick laid in between them. Kate also had her shirt off and tossed on the bed. Her bra was still on but Rick was holding her close. I froze as the two stopped making out and looked over to me. They were caught red handed. I wasn't exactly in the mood to poke fun though so after I snapped out of it I shut the door, I guess I was really doing this.
"Humphreys on his way" Lilly said as she approached me, putting her phone in her pocket. I sighed again before walking down stairs. Lilly followed. Once we were downstairs me and Lilly sat on the couch and watched TV while we waited. "It's gonna be fine Angie you'll see" Lilly assured. I sighed again. I didn't want to do this. At the same time though, that part of me that was excited originally was still there. Once Humphrey got there I stood up and left Rick a note saying I went to Humphreys. I left it on the couch and followed Lilly out to the car. I locked up and hopped in the back of the car.
"Hey guys," Humphrey said. The heat was blasting as the sun started to set. To me this was when it felt the coldest.
"Hey" Lilly said as she gave him a quick kiss.
"You okay Angel?" Humphrey asked, noticing my silence.
"Yeah" I lied. Humphrey nodded and then put the car in reverse, backing out of the driveway. This was going to be a long, fucked up, but somewhat fun night.
