"Seriously? You can become any animal anytime?" Jason asked Sam
"He's a shifter. Of course he can." Maria said
"As long as I've imprinted on it." Sam said
"He's not the only shifter in town." Andy said
"No. He's the real shapeshifter. I'm just a weretiger. One of the werepeople. The tigers, the panthers, and the wolves. Never bitten. Never killed anyone except Rene aka Drew Marshall. Half sibling of a Stackhouse. That's pretty much everything." Maria said
"Thank you for giving me the heads up. And as cool as that may be, we still got a maenad we gotta deal with before it takes our wholes town out." Andy said
"Listen, you can't deal with it. All right, your best bet's to leave while you still can." Sam said
"Now who's talking scared." Maria said
"Shouldn't we think about getting the law involved?" Jason asked Andy
"I am involved." Andy said
"Well, I meant Sheriff Dearborne, Kenya, that other guy, the squirrelly one." Jason said
"Sheriff's station was wide open and empty. They ain't gonna help." Andy said
"Then we have got to be the law. Guys, I read a book about this. This is Armageddon. This is the Oral History of the Zombie War. We need weapons, lots of them." Jason said
"I hate to break it to you, but guns aren't gonna do jack shit to Maryann. And you can't shoot anybody else. These are our friends, this is our town." Sam said
"Well, sometimes you need to destroy somethin' to save it. That's in the Bible. Or the Constitution." Jason said
The two children Lisa and Coby are looking at them from the window. They run when Maria see them. Maria ran out of Merlottes and goes after them.
"Coby? Lisa? We're not them." Maria said
Sam approaches to them.
"Is our mama here?" Coby asked both Sam and Maria
"No, she's not." Maria said
"Good. Will you help us hide?" Lisa asked both Maria and Sam
"And will you make us lunch?" Coby asked both Maria and Sam
"We haven't eaten since the day before yesterday." Lisa said
Andy and Jason approached to them.
"Andy and I are taking off." Jason said
"Where are you going?" Maria asked her brother
"Sheriff's office." Andy said
"We gotta arm ourselves. Hey, Coby, Lisa." Jason said
"Jason, no." Maria said
"You're walkin' into something bigger and more dangerous than you can even imagine." Sam said
"I gotta do this." Jason said
"You're gonna get yourself killed. And probably a lot of other people as well. We need a plan." Maria said
"Time for thinking is over. It's time for action." Jason said
"If you want to go over there and be another one of those bug eye freaks. Be my guest." Maria said
"Maybe they're right." Andy said
"You're a damn fool, Jason. (Sam takes Coby and Lisa.) Come on. Let's go inside, get you kids something to eat. Come on." Jason said
Jason, Coby, Lisa, and Maria walked inside and Andy and Jason drove off.
Coby and Lisa are sitting at a booth. Maria is on the phone with Ginger.
"I know. I should've called him back. I need his help with something. I'm bringing my friend over and two kids." Maria hangs up
Sam brings Coby and Lisa plates of sandwiches.
"Here you go. And more where that came from." Sam said
Sam sits down.
"What's wrong with our mama?" Lisa asked Sam
"I'm not sure. But I think she's sick." Sam said
Maria walked towards them and sits down.
"My friend can help." Maria said
"Is our mom gonna die?" Lisa asked both Sam and Maria
"No. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not anytime soon. When you two get done eating. We're going on a little trip. See that friend of mine." Maria said
"Can he help us?" Lisa asked Maria
"He's another friendly vampire. Like Bill." Maria said

Maria sit next to Eric. Coby and Lisa sat next to Sam.
"Everything gone to hell in Bon temps. Ever since we got back from Dallas." Maria said
Sam thinking it's a bad idea.
"Why should I trust you?" Eric asked Sam
"Look, I know you two don't get along. Vampires, shifters, and other werepeople. But just bare with me ok?" Maria said
"Ok." Both Eric and Sam said
"When I was undercover in the fellowship of the sun. You called me and mention claw marks." Maria said
"That thing owes me a pair of shoes." Pam said
"I know someone who can offer something useful." Eric said
"Can we see your fangs?" Coby asked Eric
Eric looked at Maria.
"Try not to freak them out." Maria said
Eric looked at Coby and Lisa. His fangs appeared.
"Cool." Coby said
"You make me so happy I never had any of you." Pam said
"Oh, come on, Pam. They're funny. They're like humans, but miniature. Teacup humans." Eric said

Eric smiles because he was impressed by Maria's comeback. He dropped his smile.
"Can you call this person?" Sam asked Eric
"Sophie? That's who you are going to see?" Maria asked Eric
"I must leave right away. I'll walk you out." Eric said

"Please hurry." Maria said

Eric kissed Maria on her left cheek. He then looked at Coby and Lisa.
"Good night tiny humans." Eric said
Eric flies off.
"Wow, he can fly!" Coby said
"Come on, Coby." Sam said
"Let's get you two back to Bon Temps." Maria said

Sam and Maria are outside.
"I get why you trust him. Doesn't mean I do." Sam said
"I made a promise to his maker that I would take care of him. For the whole supernatural thing. I just wish all of us could get along." Maria said
Bill appears in front of them.
