A/N: Thank you for the followers and reviews. They really help me keep writing. I'm struggling with a bit of writers block but I powered on this one - thank you :)

Quick note, I know in the movie they said 4 shows in 4 countries in 4 days but honestly that doesn't seem realistic. So I'm adding the caveat of "does not include travel days"

The next morning Beca woke with Chloe in her arms, barely having moved. She was still in a deep sleep, and Beca didn't dare wake her. It did give her time to think.

I need to just dive in. Both feet.

She thought about everything, how it feels so right to be with Chloe. How it feels to make Chloe happy and how happy she herself feels when she's with the older Bella.

She's your best friend.

How they can just be together and everything felt normal. It felt ok. Kissing feels like something they could have been doing since day one. Last night maybe more recently but Beca rarely felt comfortable physically close to people who she wasn't dating or more clearly sleeping with. She knew she had to dive in now - sink or swim.

But

Was Chloe diving in too?

The fears stem from latent places in her mind:

Part of it was insecurity, not exactly feeling confident. And how could she, she had no job, still lived in a flat share, and was nowhere near her dream of becoming a successful producer. That Grammy is never going to happen, and the thought bummed her out.

Another part was seeing how Chloe can just be with anyone. For the years she's known the redhead, she's never seen her just date a person longer than... well days? Maybe a week?

Chloe is a free spirit.

She promised Chloe she would try though. She would make the world end. So, for now, she pushed those thoughts aside. Today, she would be brave.

Come rain or shine, you kiss her. You kiss her good!

Beca continued to repeat this in her head. She must have held onto Chloe a bit tighter with those thoughts as the redhead shifted in her sleep until blue eyes blinked up to greet her.

"Good morning" Beca's eyes glistened with admiration as she smiled down at a waking Chloe. Even first thing in the morning the redhead always managed to look like… Beca couldn't even come up with a simile. Chloe was just Chloe. Unlike anything or anyone else. One-of-a-kind was a phrase that was invented for a girl like Chloe Beale.

Chloe responded with a hum as she got up with a cheeky smile sprawled across her face.

"What's that look Beale?" Beca grinned, knowing a mischievous Chloe always had a witty remark in store.

"You're topless." She pointed out and Beca huffed before basically moving Chloe off her to grab her shirt. It was playful, the way she would just interact with Chloe, move her away and behave almost toddler like.

"O-kay, to the corner with you," Beca teasingly reprimanded as she pulled on her shirt.

"Noooo" Chloe whined, partly for the punishment, but mostly for the boobs she no longer had access to and Beca knew it.

"We gotta get up and pack, our flight's in a few hours anyways." Beca explained as she got up, and out of bed, ready to go to the door. It was automatic, how she manoeuvred and functioned to get away and get to the task at hand.

Chloe didn't say anything, she just watched from where she now sat on the edge of the bed, already worried if, once again, Beca was back in her shell.

Both feet Beca.

Beca reminded herself before turning around. Determined. Her body inflated with self assured confidence as she moved.

You kiss her, and you kiss her good!

Chloe's expression changed from worry to curious as she watched the brunette walk over to her with a mission in mind. Before she could make a witty remark, the brunette's hands found the sides of her face, tilting it up to capture her lips.

Beca was assertive. Her lips parted to allow for her tongue to invade the redhead's mouth, tasting her, wanting her, taking her.

No turning back.

Beca pushed further, hand now behind Chloe's neck to pull her closer, tongue leading Chloe's into her mouth, teeth scraping, biting, she was not holding anything back. She knew she did something right when Chloe's moan rippled all the way down and into her chest.

It couldn't have been more than a few minutes but Beca finally pulled back, satisfied that she did what she said she would.

"Fucking finally," Chloe breathed as Beca finally release her.

"what-"

Chloe didn't wait to lean up and continue their heated kiss, this time grabbing the brunette's waist and neck to pull her ontop, only breaking the kiss as they somehow fell back into the mattress in a heap.

"What do you mean finally?" Beca almost laughed as the redhead managed to drag her back into bed with her. There was relief in her voice, a sense of - it'll be ok.

"I mean…" she kissed her again, chaste, quick. "For someone who wants to give me what I want, you sure as hell haven't kissed me enough." She sighed now just laying side by side with the brunette, looking into stormy blue eyes.

"I'm sorry," she breathed, "I'll kiss you every minute of every day if you'll let me," Beca practically promised and Chloe believed her. Beca doesn't say these things. Not without full intention to follow through. Beca wanted this to be something. She hoped Chloe knew it too.

Chloe leaned in to kiss her once more before pulling away. "We do need to pack," she regretfully confirmed but was beyond elated, and her face showed it.

Beca nodded, leaning in to kiss her again, following through with her sentiment. She kept her eyes closed, still not able to face the redhead, face the expression that may have a hint of rejection. "I should go pack."

In the hall, a very embarrassed young Bella stood.

"Beca?" Emily knocked on the older Bella's door. She's conscious that her neighbour may have heard her last night. She went to open the door and found it was unlocked. She peaked in and noticed the bed wasn't slept in. She looked around and nothing.

As she stepped out of the room she bumped into Beca, in her PJ's, stepping out from Chloe's room.

"Hey Em," Beca looked guilty, guiltier than how Emily probably was.

"Hi, good morning, sorry-" she looked back at where she exited from. "I was looking for you," Emily explained why she was in the older Bella's room.

"Good morning" another voice, Chloe, spoke from behind Beca. "Did you have fun last night?" She gave a mischievous grin.

"Oh no, you heard?" Emily looked down until another voice joined in.

"We all heard Emily!" Aubrey whined from her room.

Her face turned a few shades redder, which she hid behind two hands.

"Hey! Don't shame good sex game!" Amy spoke up. "Now that we've all heard you have sex - You're officially a Bella!" For once the Australian was defending her to all the other Bellas. It was nice.

"Well everyone but Stacie," Beca thought out loud, knowing that Stacie had high-fived her once when Jesse stayed over. Stacie would have a field day with this news.

"True, I'll send her a message to call us - give her an update," Chloe went back to her room, quickly retrieving her phone before rejoining them in the hall

"About my sex life?!" Emily panicked, calling after the redhead who now reappeared, phone in hand.

"Well about the competition too but maybe" Chloe teased as she text while everyone started to join the conversation in the hallway.

"How were you even in the mood after that catastrophe," Aubrey ridiculed stepping out of her room.

"I'm still putting ointment in places I didn't think bees knew how to get to!" CR added as she walked through the hall.

"In my village, a bee storm is the sign of wealth but early death," Flo added. "Good to live for the night!" She encouraged the younger Bella.

"I kept the bees in my bag," Lilly added in a whisper from where she peaked at the end of the hall.

"Alright everyone let's pack up," Chloe announced, having finished her text.

Beca smiled to Emily and made her way around the taller girl back to her room. She was extra grateful for Chloe diverting the attention to Emily and not the fact she just came out of spending the night with her. Before shutting the door she made one quick glance to Chloe who looked at her knowingly.

A mouthed thank you later and the brunette was in her room.

By the time the girls were packed and ready to leave, the reality of where they stood in the competition dawned on them. It was not good.

They sat outside their hotel waiting for their car as each of the other bands passed by and mocked them openly.

Emily watched in disbelief as Calamity made a point to insult them. She reprimanded herself again for sleeping with the enemy. She should maybe tell the rest of the Bellas but the rockstar wouldn't even look at her. It was as if she didn't exist and maybe it's for the best to leave it behind. Screw it, if Calamity was just using her then maybe she should just move on and hook up with someone else. Yeah, that's a good plan. For now she would just be positive about everything - including Amy's dad.

"It's amazing," she spoke up and added more and more words to explain, until Amy was ready to bite her head. Ok, honestly, she may have gone a bit overboard, not only thinking about Amy's dad when it comes to bad people changing to good.

All she wanted was to just sing with her Bellas and forget about a certain punk rockstar women that made her feel… yeah just forget winning and sing.

Stacie had called and instinctively Emily started to sing to her crying baby. Lyrics she wrote some time ago. This who thing with, end of her and Benji, finding out about Beca and Chloe and now this new experience made it feel natural to let the words flow again.

Oh great.

Beca thought as Chicago appeared. She can't blame the guy for being handsome but Chloe is attracted to him and well… Chloe is attracted to who she's attracted to. The words echoed in her mind from their conversation, which meant she was attracted to Chicago.

Her hand went to hold Chloe's. It was a possessive move, and in other circumstances she'd feel it's too public a space for her to do this but her jealousy may have trumped her need for privacy.

Chloe's eyes glanced down at Beca's hand. Her heart felt lighter, and effortlessly smiled before catching sight of what Beca was looking at, a distracted Chicago who was helping with their bags and explaining their schedule.

The smile immediately turned to an almost devilish smirk.

Beca is Jealous

Sure they had a good talk last night and progressed things along but, she knew Beca struggled to get out of her comfort zone without a strong driver. She already admit to being jealous and evidently Chicago was the way to maybe drive her a bit further.

With that thought in mind, she gave Beca a quick squeeze of her hand, mumbling a quick excuse that she should help with the bags too, and made her way to help, conveniently next to Chicago.

All the while, Emily was watching, and the rollercoaster of emotions was visible on her face. First excited as Beca held Chloe's hand, then sad that Chloe walked away, and even worse Chicago was now talking to Chloe.

This was not how their story was meant to go.

Emily rushed with her stuff and quickly got in to sit next to Chloe in the large van.

"Oh hey," Chloe was all cheer. You couldn't even tell she's upset, or concerned about a single thing. Maybe they weren't fighting, but - she looked over to Beca who looked glum in the back of the van. "Are you going to tell us about your mystery lover?" Chloe pulled her back with the question.

"I mean... it's not a mystery if everyone heard right," Emily awkwardly laughed. "What about you?" She whispered as Chicago sat in the front passenger seat.

"Chicago does keep looking over Chlo," Aubrey teased form her other side.

"He's alright," Emily tried dismiss the comment.

"Alright? He could bend me over and show me the 50 states," Amy added.

"Guys, relax." Chloe tried to not hint too much but added "I'll see where it goes."

Emily frowned, not where she wanted this to go. He eyes glanced at a Beca who had slipped on her headphones and was looking out the window. Not good.

The flight was no better as Beca wanted to talk to Chloe at boarding but the redhead was suddenly engrossed in conversations with Chicago.

They were flying on military planes and that meant directly landing at the next base for their performance in Italy.

"Are you ok?" Emily tried with Beca this time, grabbing the seat next to her. They shared the plane with the other bands but for the most part stayed in their side of the aircraft.

"Great," the brunette almost growled, teeth clenched.

Beca can be scary sometimes, and this was one of those times.

Emily looked over and spotted Calamity was looking at her. She wondered if anyone noticed the suggestive lick of her lips, but Emily just looked down and started writing.

At arrival they were shown to the dorms.

Emily couldn't help watch as Beca kept glancing over at Chloe who was busying herself, helping everyone get their designated dorm rooms at the base or just generally talking to Chicago whenever he was around.

The base was rather large, they could barely tell they were in Italy, and were told they would only really stay on the grounds this time. No exploring Italy, which sucked.

As everyone was given their key now and left to their rooms, Emily decided to try once more with Chloe, catching up to her before she headed to her room.

"Chloe, can we talk?"

"Sure, what's up?"

She looked around and hinted 'privately' before Chloe made her iconic 'oh' in realisation face before following her around a corner to a private corridor.

"Is this about last night?" Chloe started. "You know it's ok you brought a girl back to the hotel." Chloe was quick to offer her support.

"No it's… wait - how?" Emily instantly distracted as brows practically hit her hairline in evident shock.

"I could tell that wasn't your E-flat" Chloe winked, seeing the flustered look on Emily's face she added a quick "it'll stay our secret."

"I - thank you." She smiled kindly to the older Bella. She took in a deep breathe, regaining some of the confidence she had to be the one to have this talk. "I wanted to talk about you though…"

"Me?" Chloe's face contorted to confused.

"I heard you, and." Another breath. "Beca, the other night" she looked at Chloe and clarified "in your apartment." Emily could barely get the sentence out in one go, and now just waited.

"Ha, I knew you did!" Chloe announced, sounding confident and was so sure of it. "Beca is such a scardy puss," she practically giggled.

"Oh so, you're together?" Emily semi deduced out loud but tried to confirm.

"Well - no." She started excitedly, eyes looking up in quick thought, before the realisation hit her and she waved the idea of. "Beca is still figuring things out." Chloe sighed, and maybe she wasn't sure what it meant to be with Beca either.

"Sounds... complicated?" Emily implied trying to figure out what Chloe was thinking, she seemed lost.

"I guess, it's just new." Chloe finally admit as the most logical reason why everything was still, as it is.

"Oh! I thought you guys have been." Emily expressed her assumptions "I mean it just made sense and Beca had broken up with Jesse I thought maybe... Beca stopped being a, tough cookie, and asked you out finally," she continued and Chloe shook her head no for most of it.

It made Chloe geniunely laugh though. It's true, sometimes Beca was just trying to be a "tough cookie", but anyone who dares to take a bite will get to that soft warm chewy centre.

"Thanks Emily," she went to hug the taller girl, not realising she needed a bit of a laugh. She would have somewhat continued the conversation too but it was cut short.

"There you are!" Chicago called. "I'm sorry again about not getting you guys into a hotel tonight."

"It's not a problem," Chloe smiled, waving Emily bye before giving Chicago her full attention. "I'm surprised we still had our own rooms." She admit.

"Yeah, we use these for when some of the families come to visit." He explained as they walked over to the different areas. "It's still a shared bathroom," he pointed to where the bathroom was. "And the cots are hardly beds, but for now it was justified and I promise I'll get you into the best hotel in Nice."

"That sounds… nice" she joked with the play on words.

"I like it," Chicago laughed and Chloe was disappointed. She expected some form of back and forth.

"Well, this is me?" She reached what she presumed to be her room since Chicago and Zeke were done showing everyone else their rooms. "Thank you for making sure I got her safely."

Just as she was about to bid him goodnight, Beca stepped out of her room and caught sight of them. The disappointment on her face was clear but it immediately turned to anger. Chicago towering over Chloe who stood by her door, ready to invite him in. She's seen this many times before in the Bella house. Hell she's come home to this exact sight of a Chloe with a guy outside their apartment.

"No worries, that's what I'm here for." Chicago explained.

Before things could clarify themselves Beca retreated back to her room, and the click of her door pulled Chloe's attention over before returning to Chicago.

"Since you're already on the grounds, some of the soldiers were going to show the Bellas around tomorrow. We have some spare gear for all of you to wear and join us."

"That sounds great. I'll see you tomorrow then," she opened her door to step in.

"See you tomorrow," Chicago sort of bowed his head before leaving the girl alone politely.

Chloe laid in her cot and looked around the room. She was hoping to catch Beca at some point tonight but it seemed that she hasn't left her room since they arrived.

Now in her PJ's she felt weird not having Beca here. Sure the cot was made for one person but the room had another and, if they pushed them together, then at least she'd be close.

Part of her wishes Beca would just storm in possessively. She never let herself have those thoughts before today but all day she talked to Chicago she wondered how Beca would grab her and kiss her.

A hand wandered down her body as she pictured it, Beca grabbing her waist and pinning her on the bed. Kissing her neck, biting until she's marked every inch of her.

Her fingers lingered along the waistband of her PJ's, and with a deep breathe made their way under and between the barrier of her shorts and panties. She could feel the build up of arousal in the pit of her stomach and under the tip of her index and middle finger. Her clit swollen and sensitive to the touch as she continued thinking of Beca, and how she would touch her. How her hands that are so used to pressing buttons on soundboards would play her until she came.

She bit her lip and now craved Beca in person. As familiar as she was with her body, she wanted the brunette. She was less than a few feet away and she wanted her, bad.

She sighed and got up, needing to just talk to her.

Chloe walked out of her room and over to the brunette's room. She knocked twice.

"Beca?"

Nothing.

She reached for the doorknob and twisted.

Locked.

"What are you doing?" Beca asked from behind Chloe making her jump.

Chloe literally gasped, hand on her heart as she tried to find her words. "I - was looking for you." She cleared her throat feeling she just got caught in the act she was in earlier instead of just standing.

"I went to get some water," Beca revealed a bottle in her hand before opening the door to allow them both in.

"Smart,"

"No, Evian." Beca teased and Chloe smiled.

Sure it was lame but it was their brand of lame. The kind of banter that came with just knowing each other. It was comfortable in a way she didn't have with many others.

"I've barely talk to you all day." Chloe was now sitting on Beca's cot, studying the fabric of her blanket.

"That's because you were busy with Mr. Illinois," Beca mocked as she twisted open her water bottle and started drinking.

"Yes, but... I'm not sitting in Chicago's cot am I?" She didn't look up, her hand feeling along the blanket suggestively.

"Was that your game?" Beca practically smacked her lips, having finished over half the bottle in one go. "Make me jealous?" She distracted herself with motions, setting the bottle cap back, twisting it shut, securing it.

"Did it work?" She smirked.

"Yes, but Chloe... it also hurts." Beca looked at her, really looked at her. She was not happy.

Chloe's face immediately fell. This was not what she expected. She didn't mean to hurt Beca. "Beca I'm sorry -"

"I know you're not a relationship type of person..." Beca tried to justify for her.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Chloe recoiled, originally ready to apologise and make up but now was hearing more of a wrongful opinion.

"I know when you like a guy and you go for it."

"Sure, but what does that have to do with being a relationship type?" She challenged before deflecting. "You should know I wasn't going to sleep with Chicago."

"Actually I wouldn't know. As long as I've known you, you've never been in a relationship," Beca challenged back, somewhat aggravated but mostly factual.

"Yes I have!" Chloe protested as if Beca suggested something so insanely undignified.

"Since I've met you?" Beca clarified this again. "Who?"

"There was Tom," Chloe was quick to offer.

"Tom?" Beca quirked a brow, the name barely sounding familiar.

"You met Tom!"

"When have I met a Tom?" Beca was certain she didn't know a Tom, and her voice reflected it. Hands now gesturing to emphasise her words during the conversation.

"In the shower," Chloe scoffed as if Beca should have remembered him mainly because it was in the shower.

"Are you serious? That guy had a name? I havnt seen him since! You were making out with another guy the next night!" Beca accused, voice now raised, gestures thrown around with every exclamation.

"No I wasn't!" Chloe yelled back, now standing face to face, fuming.

"Look whatever, a guy you're seen with once or twice is not a relationship Chloe." Beca rolled her wrist once then twice.

"Ok expert, how is Jesse?" Chloe now crossed her arms, eyebrow quirked, ready for battle.

"Low blow." Beca almost growled.

"For such an expert, you're also not being clear about what this is. One minute you need to figure it out, the next you're holding my hand like a possessive boy friend."

"What do you want from me Chloe?" Beca finally just asked. She couldn't take anymore of this and knew that once Chloe was in the offensive she was going to get stuck in this fight. "What can I do to save this?"

"So you can fuel your hero ego?" Chloe was still not backing down.

"No," Beca succeeded. She looked down and took a deep breathe. "So I can just give it to you, so I can have you..." Beca let out with a long breathe, it made Chloe replicate her and take in a few deep breaths.

Chloe stayed silent for a long moment.

"Do you want to be with me Beca?"

"Yes. I do." She reached a hopefully hand and Chloe grabbed it.

"The other night, back in New York, I told myself I did that to make you happy, and it's true. But there is also a part of me that wants to do those things because I'm selfish. And I get jealous because I like you and not because I think you want me. I actually don't know if you want me, not really. And it's terrifying to think you can just reject me-"

Chloe stills her with a heated kiss, one hand grabbed her shirt to pull her in, the other behind her neck as she just had to shut her up. She wasn't sure how her anger dissipated but with each honest word Beca spoke she remembered why she wanted to make her jealous. Beca was a passionate person and this is what she wanted. She wanted the passion, she wanted the desire, she wanted her love.

"I told you I want you," Chloe whispered against her lips.

"I know" Beca tried again, hands on Chloe's hips, thumbs fumbling with the material of her night shirt. "It's not exactly easy to believe when I'm this unemployed loser, and you're all over another guy-"

Another kiss.

"You're amazing Beca." Chloe was practically panting now. "You have been killing it on this trip, you have the executive of your old company asking you to come back. You have turtle man following you like a lost… turtle." The both giggled at this.

"You're amazing, and I want you…" Chloe's features went dark with desire. "I can tell you," she leaned in to kiss her neck. "I can… show you."

Beca gasps when lips met her neck, and soon left a little bite. Her hands clenched at Chloe's sides, finally silenced into a state of arousal.

"Will you let me touch you?"

Beca didn't know exactly what to say but nodded.

"You know you can stop this if you're not comfortable,"

Another nod.

"What do you want?"

"I'm not su-"

"Yes you are. You were just telling me-"

"That's just it… because its you,"

"Beca. I'm saying yes." She tried again. "What do you want?"

"You. Chloe. I want you."

Beca kissed Chloe and began to lead her back until her back hit the wall of her rather bland room. Her body pushed against her, wanting to feel every part of her. Her hands on her hips grabbing her for dear life, blunt nails digging into her skin that she only realised she accessed by the gasp that escaped Chloe.

"I want to kiss you," Beca admit, and kissed her again. Unsure if the moan that rumbled through them was hers or Chloe's, before ripping her lips away to attack her neck.

"I want to touch you," Beca practically commanded as her teeth scrapped along the redhead's pulse point.

"Touch me" Chloe breathed out with a loud moan, her hands around Beca's shoulders now, grabbing the hair at the base of her neck.

"I want to…" Beca pressed her hips against Chloe's, grinding into her.

"Fuck me?" Chloe panted, her mischievousness was there along with full blown list.

"Yes." Fuck it.

"I want that too," Chloe admit.

Just outside in the empty hallway.

"Not again Emily!" Aubrey yelled.

"It's not me!" Emily replied.

A/N: Next chapter will start with a steamy scene...
