Angela was on lunch sitting outside on the concrete ledge by the stairs. Instead of eating she was too busy freaking out on the phone.

"What do you mean your dad is about to arrive? You didn''t tell me he was coming for a visit,"

"I'm sorry love it was last minute I have no clue why he is here but I promise you it won't effect us living in the mansion,"

"I hope not cause I didn't pack anything to stay at my parents,"

"Don't worry baby you don't have to stay at the farm I promise,"

"Ok Lex, I better let you go lunch is almost over and I wanna finish off the apple at least,"

"Ok love make sure you grab something after school I love you,"

"I love you too Lex, bye," as Angela hung up the school bell rang signalling the lunch period over.

Taking a few huge bites making her look like a chimpmunk Angela threw the core in the trash and headed inside to class.

Lex stood on the helipad, his teeth griting as his father's helicopter landed in front of him.

"Lex,"

"Father," Lex responded just as short hating when his father showed up at last minute visits.

The employees of the plant waited out front the building as Lex and Lionel came downstairs, supposedly for a motivational speech, which made Lex scoff at the irony of anything his father could say.

"Due to poor management this plant will be closing effective immediatly,"

"What!," came the chorus of echoes from the crowd.

Lex was stunned silent not knowing what to say or do at the moment, but knew deep down he had to help the employees somehow.

Clark and Pete stood in the Torch's office talking about the dance and what ties to wear when Angela and Chloe showed up.

"I'm going to murder Lionel,"

"Why now?," Clark asked knowing his sister hated her boyfriend's father more then anyone.

"He just shut the Smallville plant," Chloe responded as Angela huffed and flopped down in a empty chair.

"Yikes, what is going to happen now?,"

"I don't know Clark, Lex said he was going to try something not to expect him home tonight,"

"Let's hope it works, but um do you think he could loan us the limo for the dance?,"

"Take it we have two Clark I'll have Louis pick you and Pete up with your dates,"

"Thank you sis," Clark said kissing her temple making her smile a bit.

Later that evening Angela was bustling about their office space in the living room when Clark showed up.

"What's up bro I said I would send the limo over,"

"I just thought it be easier to come over and um, help me with this," Clark asked her holding up the tie.

"Men, you guys have such trouble with these dad is the same way," Angela laughed as she began tying the tie for him as Clark looked around noticing the disc on the desk.

"Angela is that...,"

"Is what?, oh yeah the disc to our ship Lex found it and I was just about to put it away safely,"

"Does this mean we are going to open the ship,"

"Look Clark we will just let me handle this Lionel situation first then we will see what we can find out about our history ok,"

"Alright sis, thank you for not hiding it from me,"

"Any time, there you go little brother," Angela said patting the tie with a smile.

As Clark took off Angela placed the ship piece in a small box and placed it in the vault in the wall. Sitting down on the couch in front of their television Angela fell asleep to the sounds of the movie 'Four Brothers' playing.

The Next Day

Clark and Angela sat in the Talon, Angela was reading over her school book for a test she had coming up, and he was thinking about what Chloe told him.

Lana took the quiet moment to slip into the seat beside Clark and breathed out the words she herself couldn't handle yet.

"Whitney is leaving for the marines,"

"Chloe's dad wants to move back to Metropolis cause the plant closing," Clark countered back as Angela placed her book down in shock at the news. With the news being out now the three of them sat thinking what life will be like without their friends.

Heading home Angela walked into the mansion but turned around as soon as she heard Lionel's voice talking to Lex.

Clark had headed home to the farm and began to take care of his chores. After he pushed the last post into the ground he got in the truck and went to turn the truck on to head back to the farm house.

Angela had just made it close to where the truck was when it blew up causing ANgela to fly back a few feet with burns to her clothes only.

"CLARK!," Angela screamed as she scrambled to her feet to get to her brother as he walked through the flames to where she was standing with the father who had arrived just a moment before.

"I'm fine, I swear I didnt feel it sis,"

"You scared me so much," Angela said as she threw her arms around Clark in a huge hug.

"It had to be a leak mixed with the fertilizer," Jonathon said as he patted his son on the back glad he was ok.

As Clark headed into the house to change Angela sped home to the mansion to change too. As she entered she adjusted her hearing to see if Lionel was still around and was happy he wasn't.

"Lex I'm back but there was a accident," as Angela said that there came a crashing of the office chair as Lex came running out.

"What happened? Why are your clothes burned,"

"The truck blew up, don't worry Clark and I are ok,"

"That's good I'm sorry I wasn't there for you love,"

"It's ok you have alot going on,"

"That's no excuse," Lex said pulling Angela into a hug.

"It's ok love," Angela said leaning up and putting a kiss on his cheek.

"I'm trying to get the employess to buy out the plant but Lionel is making it hard cause he bought the bank,"

"Seriously?,"

"Yup,"

"God I hate your father," Angela gritted out as she stormed up the stairs leaving Lex at the both of them.

"You and me both," he yelled up to her as he turned around heading back into the living room to fix the chair he knocked over.

Later on that day

Angela sat in the Talon again with Clark and Lex when all of a sudden Nixon showed up at their table while Lex was at the counter.

"I was wondering Mr Kent if you and your sister would do a interview for me especially about the fact neither of you were hurt in the explosion today," as Nixon said that Angela's eyes went wide and she stood to give him a piece of her mind as Lex came bakc shooing him away.

"Sit," Lex said calmly knowing she was wound up about Nixon.

"He..He blew up the truck Lex. he asked why we weren't hurt,"

"I'll handle it," Lex said as he pulled Angela close and gave her the blueberry muffin he got for her.

As Lex and Angela drove off home to the mansion, Clark decided to super speed to the farm house.

"Mom! Dad!," he yelled out as he got home.

"What's wrong Clark," Jonathon asked entering the kitchen.

"Nixon blew up the truck,"

"The journalist?,"

"Yes,"

"What should we do we have no proof,"

"Lex said he would handle it I just wanted you to know,"

"Thank you Clark why don't you go on to bed we'll talk about it tomorrow,"

"Night mom and dad," Clark said as he headed up stairs missing the worried looks his parents shared.

Unbeknowewst to them Nixon had bugged the house and listened as Jonathon and Martha spoke about the situation, and about ship in the storm shelter.

Nixon giddy with the news takes off after hearing about a missing key and knowing where it was heads over to the mansion.

Angela rolled over in bed groaning as she heard banging on the front door.

"Lex, door," she said pushing on his shoulder.

"Huh, oh ok," Lex mumbled as he struggled out of bed grabbing his robe from the back of the door sliding the silk on and tying it as he made his way down the stiars.

Lex was tempted to slam the door shut soon as he opened it seeing who it was when Nixon spoke up.

"Kent is a alien, I have the proof I need the key,"

"You're nuts,"

"Just grab the key I'll show you,"

"Nixon I suggest you leave the Kent's and myself alone if you continue harrassing us I will have you charged," Lex growled out as he slammed the door in Nixon's face. Unfortunatly he wasn't expecting Nixon to break in and steal it.

The next day Angela hung out in the loft with Clark doing homework, talking, and getting ready for their dance.

Angela's dress hung in the corner while her shoes sat beisde the couch to her left. Clark's tux hung beside her dress, and his shoes beside the couch he was sitting on.

As the day dragged on it soon turned to night time and soon enough the sound of Lex's shoes came up the stairs.

Angela had already pulled the screen around the corner of the loft that they had set up and was changing into her dress as he arrived.

"Hey Clark, hey love,"

"Hey Lex,"

"Hello hunnie," Angela replied coming out from behind the curtain making Lex's eyes widen at the pure sight of beauty she was. The dress she had chosen in Metropolis was ankle length, with a v neck cut, thin straps, and made of the most beautiful shade of royal blue.

Turning her back to him Lex reached over and helped her zip up the back of her dress. Making her way back to the couch Angela sat down and was about to put her shoes on when Lex sat beside her and made her smile as he acted like a gentleman and helped Angela put her shoes on.

After they were ready Angela, Clark, and Lex made their way out to the limo to head to the dance.

Stopping they picked up Pete and his date, and Chloe and sat back and enjoyed the ride as they made their way to the dance.

Arriving they made it just as Whitney and Lana were leaving to go to the bus shelter.

"Be safe out there Whitney," Angela said giving him a tight hug as he promised he would.

"I'm sorry about the cornfield Clark,"

"I forgive you Whitney," Clark replied clapping him on the back.

After shaking hands with Lex Whitney and Lana left for the bus deport.

Making their way inside they arrived just as the song 'Save me' by Remy Zero finished. Suddenly a slow song began.

"Would you care to dance," Lex and Clark asked Chloe and Angela.

Smiling the ladies took their hands and began to sway on the dancefloor enjoying the evening.

"Sorry to interupt the dance eeryone but the national weather headquarters has just announced that there is a tornado on its way here three funnels have formed on their way to Smallville," the DJ announced.

"Chloe, Lana and Whintey left for the bus deport on the other side of town,"

"I'll call her Clark," Chole replied making her way to the table to get her cell.

As her back was turned Clark zoomed out of the gym. Angela growled at Clark's retreating back as Lex shook his head.

"He just screwed up his time with Chloe didn't he?,"

"Yup," Angela replied as she nodded at Lex.

"Let's go love," Lex said as Angela agreed taking his offered arm and made their way out of the gym.

Half an hour later found Angela and Lex back at the mansion. Angela's heels left upon the stairs so she wouldnt break a ankle as they made their way into the living room but was met by Lionel.

"I'll be upstairs," Angela said turning and leaving the room.

Angela hated being around Lionel reaching behind her she unzipped her dress as she made her way to the closet.

As the dress slipped down her body she screamed as all of a sudden the windows blew out.

Covering her head Angela waited a few minutes. When she was sure it was settled down a little she reachedup grabbing a hanger and quickly slipped her dress on it and hung it up.

Going to the bed Angela sat down and slipped on her pajamas that she had left out on her side of the bed.

"Angela!," came the sudden yell from downstairs.

Running down the stairs Angela was stunned as she entered the living room and found Lex hurt and Lionel pinned by a column.

She may dislike him she didn't think it was appropriate he died in their home so she quickly lifted the pillar and pulled Lionel out.

Making her way over to Lex she was so concerned as she saw the gash above his the cloth out his coat pocket she held it on the gash and grabbed his cell phone form his pocket.

After making a call to the emergency services Angela waited curled up to Lex's side hoping and praying that everyone made it through the storm unhurt. It was sure to be a week to remember after this storm.
