Knapford station - Callan castle
The engines were already speeding down the tracks for their next race, and Stan and Nigel were once again in their zeppelin broadcasting the race.
Nigel: "Welcome everyone to the next race of Thomas's wacky races, what a splendid day it is once again! What's today's race Stan?"
Stan: "Well Nigel, today's race is going from Knapford station to Lord Callan's castle. And as we can see, all the racers are already making their way to the castle now."

Nigel: "Right you are Stan, and-Oh i don't believe it!"
Stan: "What Nigel?"
Nigel: "You're not gonna guess who's taking the lead!"
When they looked down at the main line, Stan gasped in surprise. Stepney was the engine that was currently taking the lead, and he was feeling especially happy.
Stan: "I don't believe it either, Stepney the bluebell engine is already taking the lead!"
Stepney continued down the tracks towards the dairy, and he still felt pleased with himself.
Stepney: "Bluebells forev-
Suddenly, a green turtle shell came out of nowhere and hit Stepney in the back. Stepney then became derailed, Stepney wasn't happy now.
Nigel: "Oooooh, tough break for Stepney."
Stepney did his best to look behind him, and he could kinda see that Steven was the one who threw the shell.
Steven: "Haha, how's that for a snipe-shot!?"
Arthur was racing alongside him, and he saw the move Steven had made.
Arthur: "Woah, nice shot Steven."
Steven: "They don't call me the rocket for nothing."
Suddenly, The Flying Scotsman sped right past them.
The Flying Scotsman: "Who's the rocket now Steven?"
Steven was surprised at this, then he just grumbled to himself.
Meanwhile, Thomas was pumping his pistons down the line approaching Crosby station. He was hoping he'd have a chance at winning this race, and he wasn't ready to lose that chance.
Thomas:(laughs) "Callen castle, here I come!"
Suddenly, Thomas started hearing a funky disco soundtrack coming fast from behind him. Emily was coming his way, and she had gotten a star that made her flash yellow and rainbow colors. She soon sped past Thomas, and Thomas couldn't believe his eyes.
Emily:(laughs) "Good luck Thomas, I'll meet you at the finish line!"
Soon enough, she also sped past Axel who was towing Stepney. Axel had found Stepney after he had gotten hit by that green shell, so he was kind enough to tow him to a spot along the course where he could get repaired. As Emily sped by, Axel just stared dumbfounded at the sight.
Thomas kept watching, but then he snapped out of it and regained his determination.
Thomas: "Oh yeah, not if I see you there first!"
With that, Thomas started to speed up and tried to catch up with Emily. Stan and Nigel were watching this up from their zeppelin, and they started getting a good feeling between the 2 engines.
Nigel: "Well, I think there's love in the air between Thomas and Emily."
Stan: "Easy Nigel, this is exactly why your girlfriend Ronda dumped you….
Nigel: "Stan, not the time!"
Stan: "Oh, sorry."
Meanwhile, Diesel was quickly purring down the line. Before long, Diesel 10 came running alongside him.
Diesel 10: "Hey Diesel, wait up!"
Diesel: "Hey, I'm trying to win a race here!"
Diesel 10: "Yes, I get that….But what if we do it together?"
Diesel: "Seriously?"
Diesel 10: "Vinnie was hardly any help in the last race, so I'm wanting to see how well you and I work together."
Diesel thought for a moment, then he evilly grinned.
Diesel: "I'm in."
Diesel 10: "Good, now come on."
With that, Diesel 10 and Diesel sped off down the line. He went up the grid a good ways until he was starting to catch up with The Flying Scotsman, and they were approaching the next set of item boxes.
The Flying Scotsman: "Flying Scotsman coming through!"
Suddenly, Diesel 10 came honking his horn and purring right ahead of him.
Diesel 10: "You mean Diesel 10 coming through!"
Then, Diesel 10 sped right through the line of item boxes and claimed his item.
And he gets….. the Bowser shell.
At the next moment, Diesel 10 was now holding a Bowser shell within the jaws of his claw.
Diesel 10: "Alright, let's see what this baby can do."
After carefully aiming, he tossed the shell down the tracks ahead of him.
Further up the tracks, Emily was already taking the lead. She was just leaving the fendlon tracks, and now she was just approaching Gordon's hill.
Emily: "I can't believe it, I'm actually taking the lead!"
Suddenly, she heard a strange noise coming from behind her. When she tried looking behind her, she saw Diesel 10's Bowser shell coming straight towards her.
Emily: "What on earth-
But before Emily could figure out what was going on, the Bowser shell smashed right into her making her derail instantly.
Emily: "Oh great."
Nigel: "Oooh, tough break for poor Emily. Let's go check on some of the other racers."

Meanwhile, Gordon, Axel, and Rebecca were fighting for 10th place as they were about to go across the Sodor suspension bridge. Rebecca was doing okay, it was Gordon and Axel who were really tussling for the spot.
Gordon: "Out of my way you Belgian mollusk, I've got a race to win!"
Axel: "Oh really, like how you tried to win that race during the great railway show?"
Gordon: "You stop your mouth right now!"
James was speeding along just ahead of them, and he just couldn't stand to hear the 2 engines argue any longer.
James: "If you 2 morons keep arguing like this, neither of you will win!"
Blowing his whistle, he picked up speed and pulled ahead. Rebecca even couldn't help but agree with what James said.
Rebecca: "Ya know guys, I think we should listen to James and be less aggressive."
Rebecca then pulled ahead as well, and Gordon and Axel just glanced at each other. Suddenly…..
Axel: "Think fast!"
Wheeshing a blast of steam all over Gordon, Axel raced ahead and followed Rebecca over the bridge leaving Gordon flabbergasted and following as well.
A good way ahead, Diesel 10 and Diesel were at the top of Gordon's hill by a line of troublesome trucks loaded with quarry stone. Diesel was looking a little busted, but his driver had managed to fix up his wheels so he could keep moving.
Diesel 10: "Well, I'm glad you could make it."
Diesel: "Barely, whoever shot that bluebird really did a number on me."
To prove his point, he revealed the remains of the bluebird hanging on his front left buffer. 70% of the shell was cracked, the wings had lost a portion of their feathers, and some of its spikes were missing. But soon, he jerked it off of his buffer.
Diesel 10: "Relax my little black friend, I have a plan on how to stop the other racers."
Diesel: "Well Gordon and Caitlin are already ahead of us and-
Diesel 10: "SILENCE! As I was saying…..When the other racers start approaching, we'll release these trucks and send them crashing right into them!"
Diesel: "Wow, great plan…but are you sure this is gonna work?"
Diesel 10: "Positive, now…
Suddenly, they saw an engine approaching the bottom of the hill.
Diesel 10: "Excellent, here comes our first victim."
As they took a closer look down the hill, they could see Axel approaching. Once Diesel 10 thought he was close enough, he got ready to start his trick.
Diesel 10: "Alright Diesel, release the trucks."
With that, Diesel softly biffed the trucks and they started rolling down the hill.
Diesel 10:(evilly chuckles) "Alright you stinky losers, come and get so-AHH!"
Then there was trouble. Diesel 10 and Diesel had no idea that there was a long loose chain dangling from the end of the line of trucks, and it ended up getting caught around 1 of Diesel 10's buffers. Before he knew it, he was being dragged down the hill with the trucks as they rattled and rolled along.
Troublesome trucks: "On! On! Faster! Faster!"
Axel was now starting to make his way up the hill, he was a little frustrated that Gordon overtook him and went out in front.
Axel: "Must catch up with that galloping sausage."
Suddenly he looked up ahead, and he saw the troublesome trucks dragging Diesel 10 down the hill towards him. Axel gasped and braced for impact, but the trucks switched onto the track on his left and moved more in front of Diesel 10.
Diesel 10: "Aww grease and oil-AHHHHH!"
Diesel 10 saw that they were heading straight for the bend, then they jumped the tracks and crashed right into the bushes. After the dust cleared, Diesel 10 layed dazed and dented amongst the wrecked troublesome trucks.
Diesel had seen everything from the top of the hill, and he just scoffed at it.
Diesel: "I tried to warn him."

Meanwhile, Charlie was towing Phillip to the next repair spot. He overtook Murdoch, then Edward, then Sam, and then Paxton.
Phillip had seen everything, and then he felt impressed with Charlie.
Phillip: "I must say Charlie, you're a really fast engine."
Charlie: "Why thank you, I had a couple races against Thomas a long time ago to prove it."
Up ahead, they could see Kana. But due to how fast she was going, Charlie just couldn't seem to catch up with her.
Phillip knew he had to help Charlie, and then he got an idea. Since his wheels were starting to work again, he used it to add some extra power to Charlie's. Soon enough, they were now starting to catch up with Kana.
Kana was speeding along, then Charlie and Phillip started to overtake her.
Charlie: "Hi Kana!"
Phillip: "Bye Kana!"
Charlie and Phillip pulled ahead, and Kana was completely shocked.
Kana: "What in the…"
Soon enough, Charlie and Phillip arrived at Crosby station so Phillip could get fixed. Charlie parked Phillip on 1 of the far tracks, then he was uncoupled from him. Charlie then reversed up alongside Phillip, and he decided to keep him company for a moment.
Charlie: "Are you doing okay?"
Phillip: "I'll be fine, thanks Charlie. You better go, you still have a race to win."
Charlie: "Nah, I don't mind hanging back a bit."
Phillip: "Really?"
Charlie: "Sure, that's what friends are for."
With that, Charlie hung back and watched Phillip get repaired.
Way out in front, Diesel 10 and Diesel were making their way down the spooky tracks towards Hawin lake. Diesel was literally downright frightened, but Diesel 10 was doing his best to keep his cool.
Diesel looked back and forth at the spooky trees, but he didn't like the look of them at all.
Diesel: "Diesel 10, are you sure you're not spooked by all of this?"
Diesel 10: "Oh please, I'm scarier than almost anything that can be seen on this island."
Diesel: "Right, but I can't believe I got hit with another bluebird!"
Diesel 10: "Quit whining, just be thankful that we're finally in the lead now!"
As they went a little further down the line, they suddenly stopped by a tree that had an amber lamp hanging from 1 of its branches.
Diesel 10: "Uhh, what's this for?"
Diesel: "I heard it means to proceed with caution."
Diesel 10: "Hmph, whatever."
With that, they started continuing on their way. But when Diesel 10 was right beside the tree, he glanced back and forth…..then he knocked the lamp out of the tree with his claw before following Diesel.

Stan: "Well Nigel, looks like Diesel 10 and Diesel already have a good lead."
Nigel: "I couldn't agree more Stan, but let's check on some of the other engines again."
Back over at Gordon's hill, a slight bunch of engines were tussling for the next spot. Lady, Arthur, and Lorenzo were battling for 12th place, and Oliver, Sam, and The Flying Scotsman were quickly following close behind. Lady and Arthur were really in a fight, but Lady didn't seem too bothered.
Nigel: "And it looks like Lady and Arthur are really wrestling for the number 12 spot!"
Stan: "But who will become victorious?"
Back with the engines, Lady and Arthur were still fighting for the next spot.
Lady: "Make way Arthur, the power of gold dust defines the odds."
Arthur: "I don't think so Lady, my racing level is staying spotless."
But just then, Sam smoothly passed right by them.
Sam: "Looks like I'm getting the next spot now."
Lady and Arthur were a bit dumbfounded, but they just kept going at it anyway. A little ways behind them, The Flying Scotsman was smoothly speeding along. But right behind him, Oliver was having a hard time keeping up. The Flying Scotsman could see this, and he decided to try and encourage him.
The Flying Scotsman: "Come on Oliver, we can still do it."
Oliver did his best to keep going. His cheeks were red, and he was running low on steam. But still, he went on.
Just behind them, Theo was having almost as much trouble as Oliver. At that moment, he went through a set of item boxes.
And he gets….. the chain chomp.
Theo: "Uhh, do I dare find out what this does?"
Once he selected it, a giant navy blue ball with eyes and shark teeth appeared in front of him with a large chain wrapped around his front coupler. Before he knew it, he was then being roughly dragged down the tracks by the giant chomper while it kept barking like a maniac.
Theo: "Woah! Down boy! Sit! Roll over!"
Just up ahead, Lorenzo was still puffing along the line.
Lorenzo: "Ahh, magnifico. Quite the splendid day for some Italian opera."
But just as he was starting to do just that, he suddenly heard a strange noise coming from behind him. When he looked back, he saw Theo and the chain chomp charging right at him.
Lorenzo: "OH MY GO-
At that moment, the chain chomp plowed right past Lorenzo knocking him crooked amongst the tracks.
Lorenzo:(groans) "Once again, I've lost my top C."
Further up the course, Thomas and Emily were quickly puffing side by side down the line towards Whiff's waste dump.
Emily: "Hey Thomas, how did you get up here so fast?"
Thomas: "Well it kinda helped that you were slowed down somehow."
Emily: "Yeah, Douglas somehow shot a fireball at me and I was forced to stop somewhere until I cooled down."
Thomas: "Wow, Douglas must've gotten the fire flower."
As they continued racing down the tracks, they started looking away from each other while blushing a little bit. Before long, they started approaching the waste dump.
Thomas: "Alright, we're at the next checkpoi-
Thomas suddenly cut himself off when he looked up ahead further.
Emily: "What's wrong Thomas?"
Thomas: "Look who's already at the waste dump."
When Emily looked ahead, she couldn't believe her eyes. Diesel 10 and Diesel were parked by 1 of the biggest buildings in the yard, and they had dumped an enormous pile of rubbish across more than 1 stretch of track. Caitlin was parked nearby getting repaired, but she had no idea what Diesel 10 and Diesel were doing with all of that rubbish.
Emily: "Ohhhhh, those 2 are nothing but trouble!"
Thomas: "Stay back, I'll handle this."
With that, Thomas steadily picked up speed and pulled ahead of Emily. Diesel 10 and Diesel watched as Thomas quickly approached them, and they couldn't help but chuckle about their plan.
Diesel:(evil chuckle) "Here comes Thomas."
Diesel 10: "Yep, he's gonna be smelling like crud for a week."
Caitlin could clearly hear what they were saying, and she was definitely not happy about it.
Caitlin: "Seriously you 2, you're not gonna get good fame ratings if you keep doing stuff like this."
Diesel 10: "Quiet missy!"
Stan and Nigel were flying their zeppelin over the dump, and they could see everything.
Nigel: "Oh my, looks like Diesel 10 and Diesel are up to their old tricks again."
Stan: "I see Nigel, whatever will Thomas and Emily do?"
As Thomas now sped into the yards, Diesel 10 and Diesel just couldn't wait to see him crash into the garbage while Caitlin just watched in horror.
Caitlin: "Thomas, watch out!"
But Thomas didn't care, he just rocketed towards the garbage faster and faster. Diesel 10 and Diesel were still eager as ever, but then they got a little confused on what was going on. Suddenly, Thomas shot right through the rubbish leaving a hole in the shape of himself after he went through.
Diesel 10 and Diesel were completely dumbfounded.
Diesel: "What the grease and oil!?"
Diesel 10: "You've gotta be kidding me!"
After Emily had switched onto the same track as Thomas, she slipped through the garbage with ease.
Diesel 10: "Ugh, looks like we've failed again."
Suddenly when Diesel looked up, he grew a really nervous look on his face.
Diesel: "Uhh, Diesel 10?"
Diesel 10 looked up as well, then his face nearly turned pale. The garbage that Thomas blasted had shot into the air, and then it suddenly fell all over Diesel 10 and Diesel. Before they knew it, Diesel 10 and Diesel were partially buried in smelly garbage and Caitlin couldn't help but laugh at what she saw.
Caitlin:(laughing) "Well, it is true that you treat everyone like trash!"
Diesel:(gritted teeth) "Just ignore her."

Over at Maron station, Lady and Lexi were racing side by side through the station. But on the downside, Lady was a little upset that Arthur had gotten so far ahead of her.
Lady:(scoffs) "Lexi, can you believe Arthur beat me in our tussle earlier and pulled ahead of me!?"
Lexi: "I'm sorry to say that I can't Lady, such selfishness of him. Didn't I hear he had a spotless record?"
Lady: "Yes, but I guess good speed is part of it."
As they continued on their way, Percy, Oliver, Phillip, Lorenzo, and Kana were each doing their best to keep up.
Kana: "Electric, I've already gone so far ahead since I was so far back earlier!"
Oliver: "Don't rub it in Kana, some of us are already having a hard time here."
Kana: "Oh, sorry Oliver."
Behind Lorenzo, Percy was having a hard time keeping up.
Percy:(panting) "Come on Percy, you can do this. Little engines can do big things, just like Thomas said."
Meanwhile up at Callan station, Diesel 10 was parked in the yard waiting for Diesel to show up.
Diesel 10: "Come on, hurry up you old black box."
At last, Diesel arrived and parked right beside Diesel 10.
Diesel: "Alright claw-head, you better have a good reason for us being here."
Diesel 10: "Watch it, I've got the perfect plan to slow those other engines down."
Diesel: "Really, how?"
Diesel 10: "With this."
With that said Diesel 10 lowered his claw by Diesel's face, opened his claw, and inside was a blue turtle shell. Diesel was a little impressed, but still a bit confused on what Diesel 10 was gonna do with it.
Diesel: "Okay, a blue turtle shell."
Diesel 10: "Once the next engine comes in, I'll throw it against the wall of that station building. Then it'll keep banging against the engine that comes until it completely falls off the tracks."
Diesel: "Okay, I hope this plan is better than the last one."
Diesel 10: "Oh hush up you."
Just then, they heard Spencer's whistle.
Diesel 10: "Alright, our first victim."
Spencer was smoothly speeding down the tracks towards the station, and he was feeling very proud of himself.
Spencer: "Ha-ha, Spencer the grand coming through!"
Spencer came closer and closer to the station, and Diesel 10 started getting ready to make his move.
Diesel: "Now!"
With that said, Diesel 10 threw the turtle shell towards the station building. It bounced off the front wall, but it only bounced off of Spencer 3 times—not enough to knock him down.
Spencer: "Hey, watch the paint!"
The turtle shell suddenly started bouncing back and forth away from the station, and got closer to Diesel 10 and Diesel. But when it bounced off a wall towards Diesel, Diesel's eyes grew as wide as saucers. The turtle shell hit him smack in the face, and he fell backwards upside down.
Diesel:(moans) "Grease and oil."
Diesel 10: "Maybe your signal was just bad timing.
Diesel: "Oh shut up!"

Meanwhile, Boco, Logan, and Lexi were racing for the next place as they approached Abbey station. Lexi was telling Boco about what Lady told her earlier, and Logan was following right behind them.
Lexi: "So Lady told me that she and Arthur had a tussle earlier, and then he sped ahead. But then she made a comeback, but then that's all I know from her."
Boco just stared blankly over at Lexi for a good moment.
Boco: "You sure talk a lot, don't ya."
Lexi: "Yeah, nothing personal."
Just then, Logan came up beside them.
Logan: "Quit socializing you 2, we're in the middle of a race."
With that, Logan steadily pulled ahead of the other 2 engines. After that, Lexi still had something on her mind.
Lexi: "Say, whatever happened to Lady anyway?"
A little ways behind them, Lady was partially off the tracks after she got hit by a green turtle shell.
Lady:(sighs) "Just my luck."
Meanwhile, the racers were now starting to enter the final stretch of the race. Stan and Nigel were flying their zeppelin over the big lake near the castle where the finish line was, and they couldn't wait for the racers to start showing up.
Nigel: "Ladies and gentlemen, we're now entering the final stretch before the finish line! Ohh, the suspension is killing me!"
Stan: "Settle down Nigel, it's not over yet."
Nigel: "Sorry Stan, I just-Oh, here they come now! And who do we have first?"
Along the tracks that went through Misty valley, Thomas and Emily were the first 2 engines to be making their way to the finish line.
Nigel: "And just look at that, here come 2 of our favorite engines: Thomas and Emily!"
Thomas was ahead of Emily, and they were having the time of their life.
Thomas:(laughing) "I'm almost there Emily!"
Emily: "Don't you worry Thomas, I'm right on your bunker: "
Just a little ways behind them, Diesel 10 and Diesel were doing their best to catch up with them.
Diesel: "Come on Diesel 10, they're almost at the finish line!"
Soon enough, Diesel 10 came up alongside Diesel.
Diesel 10: "Alright, we've only got 1 last shot at winning this race."
Diesel: "How do you suppose we do it now?"
Diesel 10: "Look up ahead."
Up ahead, they were approaching the final set of item boxes. When Diesel saw this, he started getting what was going on.
Diesel: "Alright, this better be good."
With that, they each shot through their own item box.
Diesel 10 got…...the ice flower
And Diesel got…..the single green shell.
With this, Diesel 10's entire front until his cab door turned light blue along with the a white letter D on each side.
Diesel 10: "Alright, what did you get?"
Diesel: "Just a green turtle shell."
Diesel 10: "Excellent. You launch that shell, and I'll blast it with an ice ball. Once it hits those 2 engines, they'll both be frozen in a giant ice chunk."
Diesel: "Oooh, I actually like the sound of that."
Diesel 10: "Good, now launch that shell."
With that, Diesel shot out his green shell. Diesel 10 shot a ball of ice at the shell from his claw, and the turtle shell turned into an icy ball of shooting energy. Soon enough, it was closing in on Thomas and Emily.
Diesel 10: "That's it, come and get it ya blue puffball."
But just as it was about to hit them, Thomas switched onto the track on his left forcing the iced turtle shell to just shoot right past them. Once it did, Thomas and Emily looked on in surprise.
Emily: "Trembling tracks!"
The iced turtle bounced off against a bunch of trees that were on the sides of the tracks, and then it started shooting back towards Diesel 10 and Diesel.
Diesel: "Wait, it's coming back."
Diesel 10: "Wait, what!?"
At that moment, Diesel 10 could see the iced turtle shell coming back at them.
Diesel 10: "Oh grease and oil."
At that moment, a huge icy explosion emerged from the valley. After the icy smoke cleared, Diesel 10 and Diesel were both stuck in a large ice chunk with Diesel 10's claw sticking out of the top.
Diesel: "Well, some plan this was."
Diesel 10: "Oh shut up!"
Just then, Gordon started passing by. When he saw the situation that Diesel 10 and Diesel were in, he couldn't help but laugh.
Gordon: "Ha-Ha, that would serve you right for believing that diesels are superior!"
With that, he just puffed on leaving Diesel 10 and Diesel to just growl within their icy prison.
Over at the castle, a whole crowd of people was cheering at the platform by the finish line. Stan and Nigel were there too, they had parked their zeppelin over in the clearing by the tracks.
Nigel: "Well folks this is it, we're about to see who will be the winner of today's race!"
Stan: "Indeed Nigel, and I think I see the racers coming now."
As he was right, Thomas and Emily came racing side by side towards the finish line with Gordon not too far behind them. Suddenly, Thomas pulled ahead and zoomed across the finish line causing the crowd to go into an uproar.
Nigel: "Here they come, and it looks like Thomas is our winner!"
Next, Emily crossed the finish line.
Nigel: "Emily is gonna come in second….."
Then Gordon went across next.
Stan: "And it looks like Gordon is our #3."
Nigel: "But isn't he the number #4 engine?"
Stan just facepalmed himself at that. Meanwhile, Thomas and Emily slowed to a stop alongside each other.
Emily: "Congratulations Thomas, that was fun!"
Thomas: "I know Emily, even though Diesel 10 and Diesel tried to trick us."
After that, Gordon pulled up nearby.
Gordon: "O the indignity, beaten by a tank engine!"
Emily: "Oh Gordon, that's no way to behave just because you lost."
Gordon: "I know, but getting beaten by a tank engine is just so embarrassing."
Thomas and Emily just rolled their eyes. Back over with Diesel 10 and Diesel, both frozen diesels could partially see the celebration from where they were.
Diesel 10: "Grrrrrr, there goes another one."
Diesel: "Don't worry, at least you made it much farther than the last race."
Diesel 10: "Did Vinnie tell you how far I got in the last race?"
Diesel: "Yep."
All Diesel 10 could do now was just give a really glum and disappointed look within his icy prison.
