Billy slowly opened his eyes when he felt the warmth of the sunlight shining on his face through his and Sidney's bedroom window curtains.
It took a few minutes for his eyes to adjust and his mind to clear from sleep, but when both things happened, he looked down to see Sidney still sleeping soundly, her back still against his chest from when they'd fallen asleep the night prior in their normal post-lovemaking spooning position.
For a while he could do nothing but stare at his sleeping wife, the love of his life, in awe. Her brown hair, which she began to let grow long again, was fanned across her shoulders and pillow like a halo, just a bit tangled from the passionate night they shared. Her skin was a pale peach and practically glowing in the early morning light. Her chest was rising and falling with every breath and her body was warm against his. She was so beautiful and she was all his.
Billy's heart swelled with an overwhelming love and joy at the reminder that out of every boy in the world, she chose him. Him, the boy with emotional baggage and a sharp tongue. She wanted him, not some perfect jock like Steve Orth or the lovable goofball that was Stu or even the horror movie junkie Randy.
Sidney wanted him, the brooding Billy Loomis who every mother warned away from their daughter because of the bad boy image he put up for everyone he met.
But Sidney…she saw through that. She saw through his rough exterior to the softer side that others rarely saw unless he allowed them past his high walls. His sweet, loving Princess always inspired him to be a better man.
Billy started showing his love and appreciation for his better half by placing a gentle kiss on her earlobe before nibbling on it. A grin spread his lips when a slight shiver passed through her body and against his chest. She was always so sensitive.
He began peppering kisses down her neck, quickly following them with love bites. He did this repeatedly until his wife started giggling and squirming in his arms before waking up and turning around so they were facing each other.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Giving my beautiful wife love bites," Billy answered, leaning forward to suckle again on her neck.
A little squeal left Sidney's mouth and she tried to pull away, but her husband held the back of her head with his hand to keep her in place, never pulling back once until he covered her entire neck and shoulder with the small dark marks.
"Billy," she laughed. "I still need to get up later to meet Tatum for dinner. She's going to see these hickeys."
"Wear makeup, then."
Sidney gave him a firm smack on the chest at that answer. "Jerk," she joked.
"That wounds me, baby."
Sidney rolled her eyes, but the smile on her face let him know that she wasn't actually angry with him.
"I can always give you hickies in more private spots…" In one swift move, Sidney was pinned beneath him, her back on the mattress and his arms caging her in on either side.
"Billy…" She whined as he began kissing and suckling the skin on the other side of her neck.
Billy hummed against her neck, making his way down to her collarbone, where he sucked yet another love bite into her soft skin.
"Come on, Billy, I really don't…oh…have time for this…" Sidney closed her eyes, moaning at the feeling of his mouth moving just above her breasts. Another gentle scrape of his teeth against her and she knew the area was going to be purple by tomorrow.
"You're having dinner with her, right?" Billy asked, sucking more marks through the valley between her breasts and then down her stomach.
"Yes…"
He was past her stomach now. "Then that works out for me perfectly." He shot her a devilish grin and then slipped his head beneath the blanket.
"I'm running late now because of you," Sidney told Billy with a huff as she moved around their bedroom, gathering her purse and car keys. She was dressed in a simple blouse and jeans. The restaurant Tatum selected for their girls' dinner was casual, so she didn't need to do much except for picking out her outfit and doing her makeup.
Billy was smirking at her from where was lounging against the headboard. He was still naked and had the comforter pulled up over his waist, exposing only his bare chest. "It's my fault, huh?" He asked her, amused.
She pointed at him, giving him a stern look that reminded him more of a wet kitten than anything else. "Don't you act innocent with me," she scolded. "Of course it's your fault. First you wake me up by giving me hickies even though you knew that Tatum wanted to go out to eat and then you…you…" She blushed a bright red.
Billy smirked at her. "Go on, Sid…I…what?" He goaded.
Sidney growled out, "No, I'm not taking the bait. Do you know just how much makeup it took for me to cover up all of those hickies?"
Her husband didn't even have the decency to pretend to be ashamed of himself. "I prefer calling them love bites," he stated.
"I don't care what you prefer to call them! It took me half an hour to do my makeup tonight instead of ten minutes and now I'm pushing time!"
"Just tell Tatum that you were too busy letting your husband…"
"Don't even finish that sentence!"
He laughed loudly.
Sidney just rolled her eyes, declaring him a lost cause as she turned around and began making her way out of their room when he called out to her.
"What is it?" She huffed.
"I love you, Princess. Be careful," he said, that flirty glint in his eyes softening into genuine love for her.
Sidney's own eyes softened with the same love and she smiled at him. "I love you, too, stud bucket. I will."
When she left, Billy slid into a more comfortable position on the bed, closing his eyes as he did. Slowly he fell asleep, his mind focused only on Sidney and the dark purple love bites that he'd given her painting her body like his own personal artwork.
